Dirty, rooms dark and small, bed like sleeping on a board, pillows, duvet etc thin. Parking insufficient for size of hotel. Rubbish piled up outside. Unpleasant smell. No customer service staff standing around chatting. Avoid this place waste of money you would get better value at travelodge.

If anyone is ever planning on booking a hotel in Birmingham. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD SAVE YOURSELF THE TORTURE & DONT BOOK THIS ONE! My cousin and her partner had this booked for last night at a cost of £60 (now I know that doesn’t seem like much) but £60 is £60! It was that bad upon arrival they asked to switch to a different room to which they were told (it would be the same), this giving them no choice but to sleep in the car! I would strongly advise that this is an absolute last resort (a sleeping bag in a car park would be a better option)! The staff was of no help & didn’t seem to care about the state of the hotel! A copious amount of work would be needed to bring it up-to the 3 star rating it seems to have! I really do hope some kind of Official see’s this and gives the owner a stern word & hopefully have them pull there finger out, this isn’t okay in normal times, never mind during a pandemic! Please just make sure you do research on any form of hotel before booking, even if they do have a rating of 3 or above, don’t let yourself be in this situation and have money wasted for something that could take 10 minutes figure out isn’t what it’s made out to be 😎

Rude customer service. Human fesis is the toilet. The rooms smell like bum and then dust along the beds are disgusting due to covid thisnplace is below standard and absolutely shocking DO NOT GO! CHEAP AND NASTY. NOTHIN LIKE THE PHOTOS
Have been in contact via email and they will not refund me and Indian man on reception very rude and talks over you. Aggressive and hangs up.

The food was very tasty, staff friendly, atmosphere good.

This hotel should not be allowed to trade unclean everywhere and finding bed bugs in the bed was not good. I hope that this hotel will be shut down. I have never stayed in an awful hotel like this.

The place was dirty, it stunk! I even had to buy a candle. I couldn't sleep as bed was uncomfortable the curtains are hanging of a shred so it was just sheer day light in the room from 5am! and they want us to leave at 11. To top it off I went for a shower to have the shower head it me in the back of the head because its not fitted properly Never will I come here again.

Where do I begin it not fit for a dog it's filthy dirty broken locks on doors didn't feel safe stayed awake all night as there's kids running around beds where disgusting not clean at all no TV in room no sink communal toilet with no lock the roof was falling in I could go on but I would just say don't even think of staying here it's a hell hole!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Checked in today and paid for an early check in at 12pm. I had no towels or pillow covers when I checked in. The pillows without covers were yellow and so dirty they needed to go in the bin. The house keeper said there weren’t any other pillows, so I told her I would not sleep on these ones and they were disgusting, so she said she would get me more pillows but then never came back.
Paying for an early check in you would at least expect the room to be ready to use but it wasn’t.
The shower curtain is falling down and the water pressure is awful. We were given two towels for three people.
It’s literally a hot box in the room getting ready for a wedding we were attending at the hotel in the banqueting suite was awful we were all so hot and sweaty. I doubt we will sleep tonight as it’s so hot. Air con or at least a fan is needed.
The hair dryer in the room also doesn’t work so that also made getting ready for a wedding difficult.
I’m really unhappy with the room and will definitely never rebook again. It’s such a shame as the banqueting suite is beautiful And the wedding went really well.
After complaining at the front desk nothing was solved.

Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Accessible room was a joke. Doors seemed smaller than standard doors (did question this at reception to be told that there was no rooms with bigger doors or even a better room) so my wife couldnt even get her powerchair in the room without me having to take it apart! Room was dirty and the bathroom was tiny and cramped (walked straight into the sink and had to side step around to actually get to the toilet and sunk in shower). Safe to say the mini shampoo bottles found by the sink looked ancient and half used, and the state of the sink and shower was just disgusting. The bathroom ceiling light was exposed due to the casing being smashed up. Very random room socket postions and a large gap in the wall were it has obviously been boarded up to hide pipework behind the wall. Also really concerned why there was a random locked door in our room too with the keyhole being jammed with tissue. Windows would open but one of the two wpuld slide shut. The whole place constantly stunk really strongly of curry. The hallway outside our room stunk of paint fumes with a trolley just abandoned by the lift. We arrived to reception and was met by a rather rude lady who didn't seem to care at all. Wouldn't even allow any of our pets to stay here. We arrived with the intention of getting breakfast in the morning after but didn't want to bother after the state of the hotel.

Room was Ok for what I paid, reception staff were friendly enough but won't be rushing back. £5 for Wi-Fi was a no go! Stairs needed a good clean they were full of dust food spills and generally dirty.
Didn't try bar or food… and found it quite noisy at night.
Easy parking was a bonus.

I was from 2012 — 2016. Started in yr 3 the teachers are sooooo nice. I hav learnt sooo much from here best school ever.

Lamentable. La primera habitacion que me asignaron cuando llegué tenia las sábanas manchadas, bajé a recepcion y me cambiaron de habitacion. En la segunda habitación el retrete estaba atascado y baje a recepción para avisar para que lo arreglaran. Durante todo el dia no hicieron nada y esa noche empezó a rebosar, inundando el suelo y manchando la moqueta de la habitación. Una vez ocurrido esto baje a recepción para que me nos devolvieran el dinero de las noches restantes.

Absolute hell hole! arrogant staff members a security guard that stunk of body odour dirty towels & dirty socks found between headboard and mattress!

Broken bed, filthy stained curtains and bedding, shower drains blocked, bathroom had no lock on it, telly did not have no signal and graffiti on the walls! This hotel is crap. I think it would mainly be used by people taking their secret bit on the sides to for a quickie. Very disappointed. Call the hotel doctor and get it shut down!

Hotel was cheap. But the room we booked had stains on the walls and carpets. There was mold in the bathroom. We had a random door which was locked in our room. There were also many switches around the room, which did nothing. The key cards deactivate each time you leave the hotel. And the staff were less than polite when discussing any of this.

Nice reception with friendly staff. Corridors were a bit rough looking. Room was really nice-clean and comfortable. Quite big. Good bathroom. Would stay again.
