We stayed for a weekend break to explore Woodbridge. The hotel was an absolute gem of a find. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is beautiful throughout, we stayed in a deluxe double room which was perfect, with a large, super comfortable bed and a spacious, modern ensuite. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff managed the Covid rules perfectly. We had a drink in the bar area which is beautifully decorated and reasonably priced. The absolute best bit was the food, it's been my all time favourite breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Great Hotel. The Hotel Manager Rory is great very helpful. We also stayed there 2 years ago and glad we were able to stay there again. The service is absolutely great. Nice location.

Had a room at the front which unfortunately faces A12 so traffic noise pretty loud at night. Had a fan in the room but that was inadequate so had to have window open as well. Bad night weather wise as well thunder etc. Which didn't help. Person managing place very helpful he was Jack of all trades" from managing reception to cooking breakfast to serving at bar. He said he worked from Wed thru to Sun pm 6.30am-ish to close wow. Room comfy bathroom large but with relatively small shower. Didn't have meal there other than brekkies which were good.

B&B one night stay. Genuinely cannot fault my one night, plus breakfast to die for.

We stayed here for 3 nights very friendly homely well run hotel It is clean & has tasteful decor & they do a lovely breakfast (shame we missed the last one! ) Cosy room & comfy bed good value highly recommended.

Got a good night's sleep. Room was a little small and the shower a bit week. Friendly staff.

Really nice little hotel. Good breakfast. Room was very nice much nicer than chain hotels. Bed was really comfortable and staff were all very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any means. They close the bar before 10 so if you want a night cap I would suggest taking your own bottle. The shower in room 9 is so slow it's just a trickle that comes out. The only redeeming feature is the breakfast that was excellent. I don't think we'll be staying here again in the future, which is a shame as it is easy to find and pretty close to the town centre.

Reasonably priced and well located for the town of Woodbridge and the heritage coast.

Quite nice place, we arrived as the owner was just about to leave which was lucky (don't know what we would have done if he wasn't there — we had a wedding to get to! ). Had been told that there would be a room in which we could get changed after our drive however this wasn't the case. We were woke in the morning by the floor above us, where the occupants were walking the floor was creaking so much. Breakfast was very good though.

Better suited to pleasure trips… I was working… bit off beaten track if don't drive. Little traditional for my taste. Wi-fi iffy.

A big group of 14 stayed there over 2 nights. We were impressed with the accomodation. Everything was very clean and very tidy. The lounge was so cosy! Edd was amazing. It seemed as if nothing was any trouble whatsoever. I love good customer service and Edd is it. Even before arrival he bent over backwards to help me out with room arrangements and we had a warm welcome on arrival. He helped with train enquiries and recommended a great Chinese takeaway. A man of many talents, Edd also cooks your full English brekkie — which is a very good. There's also cereals and fruit etc on offer. If you choose to stay there, please take Edd homemade lemon drizzle cake — he deserves it :) Edd! My only gripe is that having booked a late checkout I showered late and the water was FREEZING! Freezing I tell you! It was apparently switched back on but that heat never appeared — so either remind front of house you'll need hot water later or shower early. The shower thing would not put me off staying again should I ever need to. Recommended!

We stayed here about 18 months ago, and was not impressed what so every. Heard it had changed hands, and what a transformation. It has gone from a gruppy B&B to a realy nice friendly hotel. It now does very good home cooked food in the evening, and the Sunday lunch is one of the best I have every had. If you are looking to stay in the area, this is the place to be.
