I had a great massage in the evening which helped me sleep, after a long drive. Breakfast had everything you could possible want. Thank you.

To close to the road stuffy in room could not open window cause of noise chipped shelf in bathroom too much money.

We wanted a quiet family meal to have a catch up and to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We ate reasonably early so it was less busy which suited us. The service was very good especially as there was a large group being catered for in an adjoining room. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and we'll presented. Can highly recommend.

Stayed as overnight guest for work, plenty of parking room very comfortable, clean and well presented, bed comfortable. Nice gym and pool facilities, Staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great for a long day. Overall value for money, would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Really tidy and well stocked for hot drinks in the room. Breakfast was also 5 star. Spa and pool beautiful.

Only had carvery but it was extremely good. Have no doubts that we will go again. Big car park with good flat acess.

Great staff and great food. Bathroom floor dirty and shower pressure low. Some of the gym equipment is very old. Bed and pillows are very comfortable.

Function room and food Friend had an anniversary here. The room was large and decorated nicely. The food was really tasty and well cooked.

Fabulous, tasty and top class food, although last food orders were quite early at 9.30pm Breakfast also very good. Very friendly reception and restaurant staff in a very reasonably priced hotel. The decor in the room was slightly underwhelming and dated and the shower wasn't as powerful as the bath, but overall was nice. Beauty centre and leisure facilities next door also very good. Would definitely stay again.

Decent rooms, hotel had been courteous enough to leave an extra card in the key slot so the heating would be on — great as the temperature outside really did drop. Good food, nice beer, would definitely return.

Stayed as overnight guest, ample parking, location on the a46. Room very comfortable and well presented, bed comfortable. Nice gym and pool facilities, gym had a nice selection of equipment but kit is old and would benefit from an update but the space is well laid out and you can get a good workout. Pool was large, perfect for swimming laps, nice sauna and steam room if a little small but perfectly functional. Nice jacuzzi. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, serving staff could not do enough for you, food was tasty. Overall good value, would definitely stay again. Well done.

I had initially planned a two night stay followed by a five night stay the week afterwards for work, but had to cancel the second week after arriving. The hotel is decorated and smells inside as if last renovated some time in the late 70s. The room was a cold, bleak expanse with a bathroom which had an overpowering smell of bleach. I got used to this somewhat after a while, but then almost slipped in the bath, as I got in to have a shower. It felt as if someone had greased up the tub in a plot to do me in! The evenings were unpleasant with the windows not quite think about to block out the sound of the A46 which goes right past the window. The gym and swimming pool have an equally funny smelling, dated feel to them with that ever-present sent of bleach following me around almost everywhere, as if someone had recently tried their hardest to cover up the scenes of some terrible crime with a few dozen bottles of Detol. If you're staying in Lincoln you have other options. I suggest exhausting them first before coming here.

Good location, good services and excellent staff. In Lincoln this has now become my regular hotel. Hotel has all the major amenities and also the food is good.

We had a great stay! The staff were very nice, the pool and facilities clean. We actually enjoyed the pool to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious, a variety of options. They had several pillows to choose from, comfy robes provided in the rooms. Free parking. A great value for money. The only thing is it would be great to have check out time a bit later. I think it was 10;30 or smth.

Nice clean hotel, pool was lovely and most of staff nice. Ask for an upgrade, we did and got one no prob.

Went for the works Christmas Party, food was good bit not exceptional, service was great, and the disco was alright but nothing to write home about.

Not a good experience. Far better hotels in lincoln … complete and utter disdain for customer opinion from the owner … If you want to step back in time in relation to the property and the service levels then go ahead … Don’t ever express an opinion though… The owner is a master of excuses … Don’t waste your money …

Visited for a corporate function. Staff always accommodating and helpful. The quality of food in the restaurant was excellent and far from the mass catered efforts of other conferencing establishments in the region. Bar not overpriced. All together a pleasant experience.

Lots of free parking, friendly reception, nice food and not over priced for a hotel (only had bar meal) decor is a bit dated I thought but clean. Toilets were clean and fresh. This place has lots to offer if you are staying. Great location just off the bypass on the outskirts of Lincoln and a short 10 min drive from Newark, another great place… enjoy.

Very well catered for evenys, a constant supply of tea coffee and freshly baked continental breakfast and freshly baked coockies. The staff are very friendly and we'll presented.

Lovely spacious room, breakfast great (hot buffet was not working so they took orders for hot items — full english, etc). Good location. Will stay again if in the area. Pool ok, but I prefer it when there is more space round the pool to sit, relax & dry off. Friendly staff.

Large room which was clean and tidy, but quite dated decor, was £101 midweek so not best value for money, breakfast at £8 was good value and plenty of variety too.

Lovely staff, room was executive but still seemed a bit tired. The reception area is really nice. Good food in the bar, nice drinks selection. Haven't used the spa but it looks really nice. Have stayed here before and will again I'm sure.

This hotel is a great base for visiting the city of Lincoln, which is only a 10 minute drive. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and polite. We used the pool and sauna too, which is available to residents.

Stayed for two nights at the Best Western Bentley hotel. When we checked in Monika was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room (379) appeared comfortable and spacious. We haven't eaten at the hotel but have been in the bar and used the swimming pool. All in all it was pretty good. Problems we had was the room got stuffy and if you opened the window the road noise was disturbing, the hot tub was tepid and the one real ale in the hotel was undrinkable. : — (

Room good size, food good, shower pressure low and power outlets far from the bed. Overall good experience though.

We stayed here because we were attending a Charity Ball and Auction in aid of Help For Heroes. The event was wonderful food fantastic and we found the staff very polite, helpful and efficient. Our room for the evening was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend staying there.

I went to get my nails done in acrylic and this ended not the case. I spent 4 and a half in absolute missery. I walked out of this dump 47 pound worse off and my nails don't even have a colour on them. They don't even have machines or equipment to do the job they advertise so nicely on there Web site (ABSOLUTE LIES). The staff are rude and ignorant and are not qualified. My advise stay well away from this joke spa of lies. The pictures on the web site only exist on mars.

More like a 2 star. Staff treated us like dirt, would not recommend absoulte rip off would much rather stay in a hostel then here. We had the worst experience want did not end well. Disgusting.

I stayed there with 2 colleagues for breakfast and lunch only. The lobby bar and restaurant was clean and comforting. Exactly what you need after a business trip. Food was delicious, cheap and plentiful. Would recommend.

The last time I stayed here it was amazing because it was my daughter's 13 birthday everything here is fantastic swimming pool was lovely and warm… highly recommended to everyone.

I've enjoyed my time here. I've been here a while for work. The food is great and 90% of the staff are lovely. Unfortunately 1 or 2 members have let it down a bit. I ordered room service once and the man on the phone was quite obviously bothered by me ringing and was quite abrupt. One of the girls on the reception should learn how to smile as well (the rest are lovely and often say hello). The older chap at the bar is very friendly. I love the swimming pool and gym, they have been nice and quiet at the times I go.

Friendly and helpful staff, but not enough of them. The food was average and the rooms were also average in that they were clean and an adequate size. The bar has a reasonably good atmosphere, but again as with the rest of the hotel they could do with more staff to speed up service, although they were all very friendly and accommodating, you just got the feeling they were a little overworked. The location is excellent, being right off the A46 with plenty of free parking and the nice indoor swimming pool was a bonus.

Dire! The meal was poor, the service appalling, and the atmosphere non existent. It's no wonder the restaurant was quite quiet for a Friday evening. We (a party of six adults) were seated in a dark area with virtually no lighting and so were struggling to see what it was we were eating — however, this was possibly a blessing in disguise. The waitress brought the bottles of wine ordered to the table and had already opened the bottles. My husband ordered foie gras. A few minutes later the waitress returned and we were astounded to hear her make excuses about their butcher having sent a substandard foie gras that the chef was unwilling to serve. Our table was near the kitchen and when one person needed to leave the table for a smoking/toilet break, two of us had to stand to allow them out! Unfortunately, one of the party smokes and, as our meal took almost two hours, this meant an evening of musical chairs trying to minimise the disruption. Things were so cramped that the waitress even had to lean across one diner to place a meal in front of me or across a rail between the table and the kitchen access. We waited a substantial amount of time between courses. The waiting staff stood around chatting to other guests and we felt somewhat neglected. Some of the cutlery I had was dirty — solidified food on the dessert spoon — yuk! The desserts were obviously bought in, of poor quality and the waitress poured the cream on before bringing it to the table.

The hotel was lovely. Clean look with big room to relax in. The food was really nice. The table d' hote menu gave a fantastic range of food for quite a good price cosidering what was on offer. Service from the staff was top notch. Where welcoming, nothing was too much for them to do. Would definitely go again. Well above average hotels these days.

Regular traveler, better than average hotel, bar service is a little slow.

The food is really quite poor given the price and you are better off going to the pub across the road or MacDonalds — which is saying something! Service is pretty miserable as well, and the rooms have a funny old musty smell. Also cannot get any mobile reception in the ground room floors. The only benefit is the gym and pool facilities all seem to be in working order, which is unusual for a hotel gym.
