The hotel is expensive. But it’s really nice and comfortable to stay there. I’ve been there twice in 2017 and 2018. I hope I can stay there in the future. All of the rooms are facing the lake. And the bathroom looks new and nice. It’s comfortable to sit in the chair in front of the door in the evening time. The little town is great too, which has my favorite flavor of west. We traveled from Las Vegas and stayed in the hotel for one night. And the next morning we drove through Yosemite by route 140. Be aware route 140 is closed in the winter and in 2017 it wasn’t open until late June/early July. It’s open in May in 2018.

The room is clean but dated, in an interesting way though. Main downside to the hotel is a lack of air conditioning, so keep that in mind if the temperatures reach triple digits. Staff is friendly, but parking can be limited at times when sold out. Back porch view on some rooms is nice and provides a shaded spot to take a break.

Typical roadside motel. It's nothing fancy, but reasonably comfortable. Room 5 is along the back and has a somewhat obstructed view of Mono Lake. The room doors along the back are sliding glass with lame latches for locks. There's a chain for the door when you are in the room. You need to keep your curtains closed otherwise anyone walking past your room has full view. It's not cheap for the limited amenities. You are paying for the location which has good access to Mono Lake and Yosemite's Tuolumne Meadows.

Good Motel, but a bit old.

It's a motel. So the rooms are limited in size. Yet the staff clean and prep them meticulously. Most of the rooms have a great view of the valley and lake.

Basic as as basic does. Good views but an odd smell. Clean rooms and the shower was ok Nout else around here. Petrol was expensive in the town,

Nothing to say, warm welcome, room number 14 high class, excellent bed, all amenities: 1 huge King size bed, a smaller double and a sofa CLAC click. 2 large TV, a beautiful terrace overlooking the Lake, a simple parking access and just to cross the road to eat a good meal… City, hotel and restaurant to advise in this corner before the crossing of Yosemite!

Better than expected. It was clean, good views of the mono lake and not a problem. Good price for the location. No breakfast included.

Simple, clean. Good sized bathroom. Good location for Yosemite and the lake. Also worth checking the ghost town nearby.

Rooms were nice and staff was pleasent. Little bit pricey for what it is and time of year.

Rooms are clean and had a great bathroom. The room is a bit cramped but everything you need is there. Parking is limited and can be an issue, however they were sold out during our visit and had room. Great view from the rooms and easy 2 minute walk for food. Breakfast and dinner options across the street. A market is about a 4 minute walk away and has everything! Would stay here again, great spot to stop while traveling.

We loved it here. Simple, clean, comfortable, BEAUTIFUL view, very convenient location, reasonably priced, quiet but not so quiet as to be uncomfortable for our group which included 4 youth — teen & preteen. We stayed here in late June 2017.

Food delicious. Service fast and efficient. Beer cold. Waitress personable.

Location is right on the freeway but rooms are quiet. The hotel is less than 1mile for the turn off to yosemite. The rooms are very clean, tidy and spacious.

Staff is really friendly and the view is great. The room is clean but the windows are horrible. The screen is broken so we got bugs in the room. And it features college apartment style windows and are really old and hard to open and close.

Great views of the lake, easy parking and great price. The front desk could definitely be more friendly and the hot water takes about 10-15 min to actually come on, which is an extremely long amount of time and was pretty irritating. But the beds were comfy and clean and it was safe and quiet, which is the most important part.

Cool place! Very Great view from the window, Excellent service and elegant atmosphere good food … The price a little high, If you come with your family or a friend is a great option to stay the night after a long trip or hiking to lake… классное место! Definitely to expensive for such a hotel. But the view over the Monolakein the morning is just priceless.

Clean rooms, Wi-Fi. Ideal place to crash after a long day hiking.

MUCH too expensive for a hotel in bad condition. The room is old and dusty. Wi-Fi almost zero! In short, if you can go somewhere else! However very good litle typical just in front.

Room OK but placed 5 or 6 metres of the road or cars and trucks, sounds of the doors and windows of the contiguous rooms, sounds of voices from neighbouring rooms. …

Nope. Fire alarm went off, couldn't sleep. No apology, no discount, no late check-out, nothing.

A very good step on the road to yosemite Park. Small room but very well with king bed, small room, balcony with lake view! Coffee and iced tea at will.

Nice location for a stop along the 395. Patty at the front desk was very helpful. Office hours good, as we arrived faily late. The room was clean and the bathroom well provisioned and clean. Not noisy even though it is on the Hwy. Bodie Mike's BQQ across the street was good for short ribs, bread, and soup/salad bar. Market across the street was handy to get a few more things before tent camping in Yosemite. We recommend it.
