Tried to book a room here,,, got the most useless response ever from someone who answered the phone,,

We would recommend this hotel for its customer service, absolutely second to none. It's our third time here, love it. But, the hotel appears to be up for sale, and certain things in the room seem to be not up to their normal standard, unfortunately. For instance the bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied from the last occupants, (photo taken), and the over the sink light fitting has no bulb in it, also not sure whether the plug in for a razor works? nevertheless, there was a lovely note regarding our stay for our wedding anniversary left on our bed, and our towels were put in a heart on the bed. Plus we were able to borrow a phone charger.

Beautiful room, the whole building was perfect. Would recommend to all my friends and family. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Room in the attic! Very suggestive. Although a bit uncomfortable to have the beams at face height, but we slept very well!

Absolutely smashing Hotel! Staff were super helpful and they rang us immediately when they found that I’d left a pair of earrings in the room.
We had a room with a four poster bed which was lovely, and even the shared bathroom (with one other room) wasn’t an issue at all.
The location of the Hotel is excellent with everything you could possibly need… restaurants, bars, and the Cathedral and Castle on the doorstep.
We will definitely be going back to Lincoln, and will be staying at what we think is the best Hotel there!

Easy going place, lovely architecture and lovely people. We stayed in room 3 which was really nice but had to keep the window open all the time as it was like a sauna in there. Nice beer garden type area to have a drink and chill.

Nice place to stay and really friendly staff. The only thing that lets it down is the back which is in need of some tlc. The hotel it's self is well situated at the top of the hill with the castle and cathedral only a short walk away.

We stayed here for one night in "Bail Mews 3". This was a compact, two bedroom appartment/cottage. Facilities including a kitchen with fridge, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc, TV, dining and sitting area. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and personally shown to a parking space. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Great location with lots of pubs, cafes and shops close by and about 20 minutes walk from the railway station. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely visit again.

Great value for the mews house. Very comfortable accommodation. Staff friendly and helpful.

Cracking hotel, 4 poster room was very nice. Chilled atmosphere. Breakfast was in the tapas restaurant 'next door' and was very nice. Will visit again.

Central location for Lincoln, stopped in one of the mews apartment 5, noisy guests above that spoiled our stay, not fully equied kitchen if you want to cook, some nice restaurants in the area if you don't.

Located on the "Lincoln" Mountain, the scenery is beautiful, rich town amorous feelings, nearby small shops, restaurants, to the church and the castle is very convenient to visit. The hotel service is very attentive, but the hotel does not provide elevators, such as living on the first floor, carrying large baggage is more inconvenient.

This is a superb little hotel that has the friendliest staff, lovely rooms & on the most picturesque street in Lincoln. Highly recommended.

Nice place in very good location. Views of part of Lincoln Cathedral from the room I was in. Car park for hotel not easy to find — its round the back.

Had a delightful stay at the Bail House Hotel in Lincoln. Fantastic room, The Feature Room. Very helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend it to everyone.

Lovely, cosy, quirky hotel in amazing area.

One of the few hotels where you can really feel at home. Fantastic quality of rooms and housekeeping. Combined with the convience of the honesty bar and the excellent breakfast served next door in the Tapas Restaraunt, makes this the ideal place to stay in the Lincoln old town.

Great hotel its like a cross between a guest house and a hotel, very clean and tidy and very comfortable ideal for couples very chic inside with lovely decor would highly recommend staying.

Excellent location near the castle and the many shopping and eating delights of Bailgate, easy to find, with a handy car park to the rear (which was bigger than I was expecting). Super friendly staff, and nice touches like the unlimited complimentary coffee/tea, and 'honesty box' snack and beer supplies. The room was lovely (we were upgraded from the pre-booked room to one with a four poster bed) and, as we were only staying one night, the shared bathroom wasn't an issue. The breakfast was also very nice. We'd definitely stay again.

Poor accommodation. Broken bathroom fittings. Shame as it has huge potential where its situated in the heart of ancient Lincoln.

Good accommodation staff were really frendly and helpful, having the use of a comunial living room/kitchen was a good idea, only there for one night but was a good stay very comfy bed and a quality nights sleep. Honesty bar is an amazing idea too.

This is only the second time I have used self catering accommodation, I was somewhat reluctant after my first experience at a property that shall remain nameless. However, this time I had no choice as it was a last minute visit to Lincoln. The accommodation was superb, everything I needed was provided including parking which is accessed via an electronic gate that requires a pin number to enter. Didnt take advantage of the swimmg pool as it was a bit cold… tempting as it was tho. A good experience, friendly staff and beautiful location. Just need an excuse to go back. I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during a business trip to Lincoln. Unlike your regular hotel, The Bailhouse is like a 'Home' from 'Home'! Beautiful rooms with stunning views too. Thanks for a great stay.
