Had a 60th birthday party here recently, hosting 62 people. Was brilliantly organised, and Ben (manager) and all his staff made sure we were supported along the way. Great place to host an event, reasonably priced drinks and great pizza! Everyone had lots of fun.

Your staff were excellent while working today when I held my husbands wake. Children running around was no problem for them and was happy to help with anything. Your venue was perfect and the garden was wonderfull I had not been in your pub for many years, the revamp it has had is amazing I would recommend your pub to anyone who is looking for a venue.

Even though it has a temporary menu the food is amazing, all freshly cooked. Service for both food and drink is so easy to order though the website as well being so quick to be served. Staff are lovely and so attentive, if there is any issues they will try their ultimate best to resolve it for you. Definitely would return and recommend to others.

Simply our favourite ‘pub’ in the Old Town, and not just because they are the only dog-friendly pub on the Old Town High Street. They have ‘embraced’ the ‘new normal’ rules and the service is great!

I went with my mum and had a brilliant experience. I thoroughly recommend. Food is delicious, friendly atmosphere and a well run team of staff.

Stayed here a last week, was very impressed with the quality of rooms and especially the food — very good value and cooked perfectly. Staff and landlord were also extremely friendly and helpful.

Great food and lovely friendly atmosphere when we went there for lunch. Food was delicious too. Would highly recommend.

On our quest for a lovely Sunday lunch ended up at the olde kings arms in the old town Hen Hempstesd and really can’t recommend it highly enough.
The food was lovely (even given extra gravy as standard) the service was superb it was really good value too.

Ben and his team are fantastic! We had a surprise party for my mums 60th last weekend. Great location, the size of the room was fab. They let us decorate the room for the party and the food was amazing! Thank you very much guys ♥️♥️

The architecture of the 16th Century Pub and history relating to Henry VIII is amazing. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t have been any more accommodating. Awesome pub food!

We held a private function at the olde kings arms yesterday. I have nothing but praise for the staff and Ben. The venue is lovely, with good outside space that the kids loved.
The food was a buffet and was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone commented on the food. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful old pub, staff were absolutely amazing. The owner couldn't do any more to make the 21st birthday party any better. The food was top quality (best buffet I have ever had! ) drinks were reasonably priced. The outside drinking area/garden was great. There is nothing I can write badly about the pub and staff. Will definitely be going back!

We needed a nights rest on a recent road trip and Olde King Arms was just what we needed. Reasonable rate during the high season, comfortable room and the bed was cozy. The morning breakfast was excellent and included. Great English pub house.

Great evening in the pub garden — a great spot for a relaxed evening. Good for parties too with a separate upper section. BBQ meals available — as well as the normal pub menu which is particularly good. Our favorite pub in the area — lovely homely atmosphere, fantastic staff (thanks Ben and team! ) and we absolutely love the fact it doesn’t have distracting TV screens!

Lovely evening in the beer garden I never knew was there! Outside bar/ food was great … staff very chatty and friendly and helpful … one let down? Not enough comfy cushions in the seating area.

Pleasant pub in the High Street The Olde Kings Arms does a rather good pizza. The real ale is well kept and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are available and parking is in the public carpark.

This is a truly authentic English homely bar and hotel, fantastic food. What makes this venue such a unique experience though is the staff, Ben and Carol make you feel like you are part of their family and I am grateful to have spent two nights here.

Ok but. Key for room missing on arrival. Found next to my room in yesterday's breakfast plate. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was like trying to search for the long lost secret of mana. It was there but all I wanted was water and fruit juice please just put some jugs on the counter same with the coffee machine. Perhaps visit some other b and b's to see how they do breakfast.

Nice place for drinks. Had planned to have dinner there and although website said food served until 20.30, at 20.00 we were told food not available as chef was very tired.

Nice welcome, lovely spacious room. Comfortable bed. No hair dryer or shower gel though. Great tea and coffee making facilities. Would stay again.

Another great stay and landlord Ben is both a great host and a very handsome man.

The building is gorgeous! The rooms are comfortable and cozy well being rather roomy and inviting. The staff was very accommodating and the food was great. I would certainly stay again.

We stayed here on our wedding night Saturday 24th June 2017 & we couldn't be happier… they went the extra mile by scattering our bed with rose petals & red roses & folded towels into swans/hearts.
They also placed champagne on ice for our return.
Breakfast was lovely & the new landlord Ben couldn't have been more friendly & helpful.
