Reviews of Aubrey Park Hotel 4*
I stayed here recently and debated writing a review, when I arrived, the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. That's pretty much the only positive. We were told the bar is open 24 hours however, after checking in mid afternoon, we waited over 40 minutes at the bar, not because it was busy, but because there was no one working the bar. The same in the evening, we got told dinner is served after 6pm which was great for us, however we waited to be seated and we never did, 20 minutes later, we gave up waiting and not being acknowledged and went elsewhere for food. In the morning, we went to the bar to get a coffee and once again, there was no one there. Staffing seems to be a real issue here and if you're looking for attentive staff, stay elsewhere. The rooms are what you'd expect, a little dated, the lifts weren't working and some of the rooms require a lot of walking stairs which won't be ideal for those with mobility issues. I'm not usually one to write negative reviews but I was fooled by fantastic pictures on the website and on arrival, the exterior and grounds are eye catching… it's just a shame that's as good as it gets.
Unhelpful rude dirty room lifts not working.

NOT recommended! Don't spend thousands of pounds on your wedding here, don't even book for a night. I experienced a terrifying incidence of another guest accessing my room at 21:45, he was as mortified as I was and showed me his key card, he had been allocated the same room. I tried to call reception from the room phone, no answer, tried from my mobile from an outside line, no answer, sent an email to reception, no answer, followed this up with two emails to Gonzalez the supposed Manager — STILL NO RESPONSE after over a week. This hotel has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It was also overpriced and as others have also commented, there was no hot water at all?! Stay if you want a freezing cold shower and poor customer service, otherwise AVOID.
