We stayed at this hotel in August. When we arrived we were told that the lifts were broken and our room was in the basement. There was no porter, and while trying to carry the bags back down the steps, my husband slipped and fell down the stairs. He injured his wrist and broke his phone. This was all witnessed by the manager of the hotel. I asked the hotel for a copy of the incident report (of which there should have been one because it was a fairly substantial fall) and I was told it would be emailed to me. Despite numerous followups via phone and email, we have still not received the report or any communication from the hotel. We were also not given access to the area where our room was until day 3. Until then we would have to call up to reception who would come out and let us back in. My husband also saw a big rat run out of the area where we were staying, and not once did house cleaning provide toilet roll. That's pretty standard. If they're not paying attention to detail like that, what else are they not doing?

Small, clean, quiet and great location at a good price (forLondon). What more do you need?

Arrived to what I believed was a very professional and friendly hotel, however this hotel is completely corrupt. They had already charged prior to arrival which we were unaware of upon check in. What was strange at the time was the girl wanted me to pay cash, thankfully I only had card. Otherwise I'm not too sure if this completely dishonest hotel would ever admit it had I not had my card receipt.
We stayed the 28/4 and although they said they have refunded we have yet to …see it appear in our bank account and they are now blaming the bank… rang the bank and they can see nothing their end. Absolute shame as I had booked this hotel for November and have since cancelled. Staff didn't like being questioned and became very aggressive when asked simple questions concerning the overcharge. It's a matter that should of been rectified immediately, instead they have tried to avoid refund at all costs and blame anyone but themselves. I wonder how many foreign travellers may have this done to them. I would avoid at all costs. Crooks!

Stayed here on our trip to London and it exceeded expectations. Great location and cute little boutique hotel. Staff were very helpful for dining recommendations etc. I will definitely stay here again.

This LOVELY hotel is EXACTLY like I presumed it would be! The room is quite spacious, (by European standards! ) and accommodates all our luggage for a long trip abroad. The king bed is incredibly comfortable, the bathroom has wonderful natural light and adequate space to move around and store your toiletries, and the amenities in the room are generous! Everything in the hotel is sparkling clean, we feel VERY comfortable here, plus the location is absolutely ideal! The gentlem…an who greeted us and checked us in was quite accommodating and pleasant, and the hotel staff has been quick to respond to our needs! Choose Hotel Moonlight with confidence! We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Moonlight. The room was well organized, clean and nicely equipped. The Hotel provides a smartphone which you can use and carry with you. Very helpful if you do not want to pay for the roaming. The staff is very helpful and available almost all day. The location of the Hotel is amazing, you only walk about 3 minutes to Earl's Court.

For a mid range hotel, this place ticks all the boxes, and more. It's in a convenient location, 100 meters from Earl's Court tube station and a myriad of shops, supermarkets, pubs and cafes. As a boutique hotel, the vibe is intimate and the friendly front office staff always have time for a chat. There is no breakfast offering, which is a downside for me, but it is possible to self cater as the rooms come with small fridge and microwave.

When I go to London I have very few "demands" of the hotels I stay at. They need to be within a reasonable walking distance from an Underground station and they need to be clean and relatively quiet. I generally don't spend much time in my rooms, but require them to have a good bed and a good shower. Hotel Moonlight is a no-frills, no extras, no breakfast kind of establishment, and it suited my needs perfectly. A stone's throw from Earl's Court Underground station and a ton of good eateries, the hotel doesn't offer breakfast. Instead they give you a nice map of the area with all the recommended place to eat or drink, and specifically points out good breakfast places. The front desk was always staffed by cheerful people happy to answer questions and help with whatever needed. The room was wonderfully quiet, but some sound was carried through the two room doors almost touching each other at the corner of the hallway. This was nothing to bother me, however. Mainly just hearing the other door closing when the guests were coming or going. My only real complaint was that the shower in the tub has the tiniest bit of glass partition meant to stop the water from drenching the bathroom, but it does no such thing. This resulted in the floor getting pretty wet after each shower, but this of course is more of a problem for the hotel than for the guest, since it's easy enough to dry the water with the towels.

The room is comfortable but small. The room has everything you need. Fridge, microwave, kettle, modern bathroom. I slept well in the bed, and would stay again. Only a 200m walk from earls court tube station. I definitely recommend this hotel for couples or single travellers.

I arrived at 6:30 am day of check in. As luck would have it, a room was available and I moved right in. The room was nice enough, but didn't have a microwave as originally promised. The manager on duty immediately upgraded me to a slightly larger single that had everything I had expected. The room I stayed in was clean, modern and the daily service was excellent. There were no bad vibes on either side of this story. To my surprise the hotel delivered a beautiful note with some wine and chocolate to apologize for what had happened. Unbelievable but certainly appreciated. Cromwell Rd is a very busy street, but Hotel Moonlight is tucked away just about a block off Cromwell. The area has a really nice neighborhood feel. The hotel itself is quiet. Earl's Court Rd and the tube are a three minute walk. If you're tired after a long day, you don't need to walk any further to eat a decent meal. I'll be back.

I stay over in London for business quite frequently and find hotels at this price point quite unpredictable however, Hotel Moonlight nails it. Welcoming and friendly service, rooms have been recently updated and nicely done, and mine was a decent size. They don't waste time and energy on things like breakfast which is so easy to get anywhere in London but you get a mini fridge, microwave and kettle in your room if you must have that sort of thing before you face the world.

Hotel Moonlight was a fantastic surprise! I was greeted with a friendly and helpful check in. I was helped with my luggage and shown all the details of my room The room was the best value I have found in all my travels to Europe. It was very clean, comfortable and had all of the extras one would need. I was most thankful for the helpful and friendly staff. If you are looking for a hotel with a great location, attentive staff and a great room, then don't hesitate to book Hotel Moonlight.

We came here for our 30 anniversary and second honeymoon. What a lovely time we had at your hotel. From the warm greeting by Tommy, to the helpful farewell by DeeAnn everything, was top notch. The surprise bottle of wine and chocolates in our room was a sweet touch and very much appreciated. Both of your concierges knew the city well and were extremely helpful with obtaining taxis and calling our tour companies for us. I have to say, the use of a hotel lent mobile phone is a super idea! Saves tons in phone calls back home and it’s so thoughtful! Thank you again, The Honeymooners!

Staff were really nice. Location was fantastic. Even though there were a few flaws during our stay in the hotel, the staff made the efforts to make things right. We understand that nothing is perfect, bit it is how they handled the situation that matters. Four stars for the bathroom because of the towel rack. The rack was located in a dangerous position. My head banged on it a couple of times. I loved the fact that the hotel provided a smart phone with unlimited data while we stayed in UK. That saved us some money for sure. If I can choose again, I would definitely recommend this hotel. I give this review a five star based on the staffs and services they provided.

Fab hotel. Very small rooms but only gorg loved our stay here only fab staff so so nice and extremely helpful.

The room was comfortable and clean. Quick trip for one night and was exactly what I needed. Service was outstanding at reception desk. They went out of their way to ensure my stay in London was memorable.

We had a wonderful experience! Our room was comfortable and the customer service was top notch. We definitely would recommend this hotel because of the extras. They gave us a smartphone to use during the day that had free international calling and helped us with tour arrangements. We even had complementary sodas!

Love my room! They give you a smart phone to take with you! All international call paid for! Beautiful area close to the Underground train station and a variety of restaurants! The front deck manager Sara deserves 10 stars! She guided me in via email to the hotel! Even gave me some good spots for a size 14 girl like me to shop! I will be coming back! Found me a new hideout!

Had a lovely room on the top floor, very comfortable bed, attractive bathroom and triple glazed windows ensures street noise practically nil! Helpful, friendly staff. Would stay again.

I will go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. I was greeted with a handsome smile and the gentlemen knew my name, I guess I do look like a Cinnamon maybe. I arrived on my birthday and in my room they had left a bottle of wine and some chocolates. Also there was a personal note from the hotel wishing me a happy birthday. Earls Tube was the closest tube station, about or less than a 5 minute walk. They also provided me with an easy travel phone, this allowed me to call home to my parents and have data access while I was out and about. This hotel is excellent. The rooms are small, but it fit my taste. I loved the room size! The bed was awesome as well, the best sleep I had while on vacation! I will definitely stay here next time. Walking distance to endless restaurants, pubs, stores and even massage polar etc. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Great location and excellent services. Internet, tv, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, carpeted floors, a book with info for all your needs. Single rooms in the basement, small and with a strong smell of fragrances for environments.
