I WOULD give this place 5 stars Loved loved loved Ace Hotel. I must say I am highly impressed by this hotel! From the hotel itself, its staff, the decor, the room size, layout, to the amenities … everything was down impeccably and done right, no, perfectly right, the first time. The hotel itself is located in East London in the heart of trendy Shoreditch. Not too far from the East London scene. It's (very safe), and close to shopping and dining. Reception was helpful and sincere. Always smiling, and never annoyed by our repeated questions Honestly, where did they find these people!?!? Hotel was cool but not pretentious. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. It's these attention to detail and really paying attention to the simple asks from guests that I rarely get from hotel these days. We had a lot of difficulty sleeping on Friday night due to the noise. Regardless, I would like to stay here again in the future, and highly recommend this unique hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel situated in East London. Not too far from the East London scene. The rooms are hip & comfortable. The bathroom amenities are also very nice. In particular I enjoyed the large working/dining table in the room which was very nice to get some work down late at night. This is a great base to explore London from especially if you love the East London scene. Also great selection of juices.

My wife and I went to the Ace for a single night away from the kids. The room was lovely, the staff were all very helpful and not snooty for such a 'cool' hotel. The lobby is perpetually filled with hip young things tapping on their MacBooks, which is great if you want to feel you are somewhere a bit trendy. We drank cocktails at the rooftop bar and enjoyed our stay immensely. The only thing I would say, and this is not too much of a criticism as we were warned and offered a quieter room at the rear, is that it was very noisy in our room. We were at the Ace on a Friday, which is probably the noisiest time to be in Shoreditch. The street noise didn't die down till 4am. We were on the second floor and the windows are really not up to the job of keeping the noise out. We didn't mind the noise as we expected it but I imagine it could definitely be a problem for some who are not familiar with this area of London.

Contemporary hotel in the heart of trendy Shoreditch. Everything you'd expect from a centrally located modern hotel. The bar at the top has splendid views over London and a great place to watch the sun go down. Bar staff great and attentive — a great space to hire if you've got the budget.

Perfect place to grab a coffee or a tea in the afternoon. Also suitable for those who want a lively place to study, work, or have a meeting.

Very smart hotel. Rooms excellently fitted out. Really good food and drink in the lobby. A hipster delight — and close to centre of Shoreditch. But not just for hipsters. Service immaculate. Quirky, interesting and surprisingly good value mini bar if you are going rockstar.

I absolutely loved the vibe here. I stayed here with my husband as we couldn't be bothered to get the bus back home. Anyway, we loved the theme of the room, the snacks and the mini bar. I must say the bathrobe was my favourite thing to use at the hotel, it was so comfortable! Well, to whoever wants to know what I'm talking about regarding the bathrobe, try the Ace Hotel and you'll find out for yourself as I don't think you'd be underwhelmed. I would definitely like to go again to enjoy more food and music on a Friday night.

Friendly people, good place to stay :)

Good location in the heart of Shoreditch, and close to the major restaurants and pubs. The hotel itself is comfortable, but there's no view if you're at the back. Also, can be fairly expensive. Pros: good Wi-Fi, good staff, great breakfast. What I didn't like about it was the push to sell you stuff. There's a bunch of overpriced stuff all over the room that's pretty much in your face, so your room might just seem like an unwelcome storefront.

I WOULD give this place 5 stars because the hotel is great — the concierge and front desk staff are amazing (Danny gave us some awesome recommendations for must-see places in the area), the rooms are great, the bike service is a huge plus, we loved everything about our stay — EXCEPT The Rooftop bar… Terrible service, the drinks were way overpriced, and the 'complimentary drink' that comes with the room 100% did not contain any alcohol. It took us an hour to have one round of drinks. Definitely come and stay in this wonderful hotel — but definitely take your bar patronage elsewhere.

A nice spot for lunch in Shoreditch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Service was included in the bill and this was pointed out to me when I tried to add a tip. A nice range of fresh dishes. The menu is limited but I actually prefer a narrower range of options.

Pretty much my office. The most laptop, remote worker friendly place in London. Food and drinks are great. Excellent friendly service just on the right side of cool. The juices and smoothies from the attached place are amazing. Also good for people watching, you never know who is staying in the hotel upstairs.

Beautiful modern upper-class hotel. In the middle of London, for me 5 minutes to the office. Great. The rooms are very small. But you can't expect that any other way here. All in all, you can recommend the hotel. The lobby is well frequented at any time of the day.

No chance of sleeping before 3am at night because of massive noise from club operation in and outside the house. Rooms not very clean (windows full of fingerprints, light switches, doors sticky and upholstery in front of the window full of large stains). Not recommended.

Book for two nights in full weekend.
The rooms are very well decorated and very well equipped with space.
On the other hand the staff was sometimes pretentious (coffee space). Watch out for the noises as the weekend, the hotel often organizes evenings so aim for the upper floors if you want to find a little quiet.

Lovely staff. By London standards our room is huge. Great bathroom very modern and large. The lobby is amusing, filled to bursting w kids on laptops. We did no research on the neighborhood, tumbled out into streets to find we are smack dab in hip heaven with Box Park shops and eateries next door and Brick Lane very near.

We stayed at the Ace Hotel for our wedding in Feb 2018 and we loved it — the team were awesome, so friendly and helpful and made us feel really special. Lots of our wedding party also stayed and had a great experience. The rooms are great — comfortable and surprisingly quiet given hotel location. Super cool place too — very stylish but with a nice down-to-earth vibe. Would def stay again!

I stayed at Ace on a trip to London for my birthday. Our room was very spacious with a window seat and the room had everything that we needed in it, really slick, simple design. I was able to check in early which was really helpful and the staff were all very friendly and helpful but there was a really good relaxed feel about the hotel.

Good hotel, university atmosphere.

This place is a favourite for so many situations. Post bike ride coffee. Brunch. Remote workplace. Meeting place. Casual evening drink. And often hosts pretty cool events. Staff and service is always fantastic. This is always on the recommendation list for anything based in Shoreditch.

It's a hotel that fascinates me. I have never stayed in it but the friends who have made it were happy. I like the lobby table area, always with people working with the computer or mobile, drawing in notebooks, or chatting and having fun. There is also a cafeteria/restaurant where you have cocktails, tea with scones or something to eat. The decor is very fifties and beautiful. Highly recommended.

Rooms look like a bachelor pad where everything is for sale — litterally, like a small shop. The lounge is always packed with people on their laptop during the day like a start up hub so pretty impossible to find a comfortable seat during the day. In the night time the hotel lounge has a great vibe. DJs and a cool crowd. Very nice staff too!

Great venue in the heart of Shoreditch. The ground floor bar is laid back and comfy, with places to sit alone and areas for groups. The cocktails aren't bad either. The rooftop bar is good for big parties, with a long balcony, a dance floor and a back room (which we used for a buffet). The sound system could be better, but it's a lovely space with a fantastic view over the city. Though I've not stayed there, I did see one of the rooms that a friend was staying in and it looked pretty nice.

Modern, spacious, correct, although I was told a price at the time of booking and when I checked out I was charged a bail of almost 200 euros which is supposed to be returned to me in 15 days. Too bad.

Rooms are amazing, so much attention to detail put into them. Bars and roof terrace is quite nice to meet friends or lobby for business meetings. However, party crowd has changed from what it used to be, not the usual east London crowd. Four stars for that reason.

Frequently visit the lobby of Ace Hotel to work with the dozens of other freelance workers. Bulldog Edition next door make great coffee and there is no pressure to buy something if you want to work there for the day. Good atmosphere to work in.

We regularly use the ace hotel. Great place to stay and work! Rooms are pleasant with all the usual modern trimmings. Recreational facilities consist of sauna, gym, bar and nightclub etc. The Hipster type lobby is quite impressive (subject to taste).

Very hipster. Large rooms with good facilities. Plenty of places within to get drinks and food. Rooftop bar as well as underground nightclub, sauna and gym. Very busy with people staying and visiting for nightlife. Didn't notice any excessive noise from my room though. Overall pleasant stay. Would visit again.

Nice hotel Bus station in front of the hotel, good comfort of the rooms, nightclub in the basement, English break fast to the top and personal welcoming. The price is feeling.

This was a great place for a cup of coffee and to work for the morning. We grabbed comfy chairs, free Wi-Fi, and then got some work done. The noise level wasn't too bad. It would have been nice to get table space, but it wasn't a big deal.

Probably one of the more interesting Hotels I have visited, as everything in my room was for sale. From the bathrobe, to the cushions there is a price for everything. The room was nice and modern and I had a good nights sleep. What I would say is make sure that you are in the highest floor possible, as the Hotel is on a busy street that can get noisy at night. The hotel also has a nightclub that is part of the building, but on the 3rd floor I could not really hear it. Equally I know that my colleague on the 1st floor had a harder time sleeping. I stayed here from Wednesday to Friday.

Reception staff very polite but had to check in twice as room not ready. Had coffee and cake but had to ask for plate and knife as they don't seem to be included. Room and facilities ok but only enough milk for 1 cup. Breakfast not available in restaurant, had to make do behind entrance area sitting on stools and for a moment it looked like we were going to have to share our table with another party! 3 "Racks of Toast" cost of over £10 equals 4 scraps of brown bread cut in half all served on one plate. Had to ask for plates and knifes. very poor value & service. Will not be going there again.

The AC in the room didn't work and they were unable to lower the temperature in the room below 85F. They were also unapologetic and could care less about how their guests feel during their stay. The place is a joke if you actually plan to sleep while you are staying at this hotel. If you have other options during your stay in London, I suggest you take them. Ace Hotel is a nice place to have a coffee in the afternoon, but definitely not a good place to call home during your stay in London.

Bad : The bathroom lock wasn't working and the tiles were mouldy. There was no toilet brush. The place was quite dusty. Very noisy, couldn't sleep at 11:30pm due to very loud music. Very long queue to book. Staff can be unhelpful. Good : Nice cafe downstairs was a positive. Bed was low which was good. Guitar to play in room. Good sized room.

I booked to stay here the night before and the night of my wedding, the first in a big room with my bridesmaids and then the wedding night in a deluxe double. After calling up and checking what time we could check in, when we arrived we were told we would have to wait 2 hours before a room was available. This was not an option as I needed to set up the wedding venue! Eventually after arguing with the receptionist a room magically appeared, although the key cards left on the desk for my friends didn't happen as the receptionists refused to believe them (despite me leaving names). I asked for 6 champagne glasses on the morning of the wedding which never actually arrived. After phoning to reception 5 times over 3 hours and explaining it was my wedding day — I received 2 wet martini glasses and 1 wine glass. To top it off I was called at my wedding and asked if I wanted to upgrade my room?! When we came back that night, we hadn't been moved to our new room and my new husband and I stayed in a room for 4 people which hadn't been cleaned or tidied. Service generally sloppy. I over-heard someone say "well it's just hackney". No. I've lived in Hackney for 5 years, and this is beyond "just hackney"

Great service but all very "hipster"

The hotel has a very 'hip' theme which is in setting with the Shoreditch locale. The 100 room which we used has a great view of the City of London and you are also able to see At Paul's cathedral albeit only the top of its spire. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.

Loved the stay at Ace Hotel! The rooms are so spacious and very nicely designed. You find guitars, record player and records as decorations in the room. Luckily we were upgraded and had our own roof top! Which was insane and gave you a look above shoreditch and London. If you want to invest in a great hotel with a super location and great comfortable beds you better go to Ace Hotel!

It's a hostel and workspace for grown ups. They've gone all out to make the rooms seems like a home with record players and other odd decorations. Had all the usual hotel amenities and everything we needed. While amazing for some, many would probably be disappointed with its styling. Lobby is packed with people on macs. Easy access to the rest of London at a reasonable price (for London).

Two false fire alarms in 3 nights. One entire day without hot water. Lipstick marks on the enamel mugs. The mugs as such are very nice to look at, but you can't drink anything hot out of them without wearing an oven mitten. My bed was made in a very sloppy way, and the sheets were crinkled even before I went to sleep. Crumbs on the floor did not get hoovered, one of my plug adapters was broken, and there was no toilet brush. When lunch was set up in our meeting room (the meeting was still in full swing) instead of using a cart to wheel everything in in one go, the lady went walking in and out what felt like 100 times, wearing incredibly loudly clicking shoes, which made it very hard to concentrate. People have different taste in furniture, and I certainly don't mind staying in a hipster place like this one for 2 or 3 days. But it would be lovely to reach the light switch next to the bed without having to half get up again.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional bar staff who were unwilling to accommodate a party that had made reservations for a special occasion. It's a shame because the place itself would otherwise be terrific. I would strongly advise against going to the Ace Hotel Bar at all costs. There are plenty of other venues far more deserving of clientele.

Great place to sit and do work, but not if you're looking for great customer service. Never encountered staff as rude and disinterested as I did here.

Very nice hotel. Third time spent here and the staff is very helpful, the hotel is clean and one's room always contains a few special little surprises. The room service dinner is great, the breakfast is OK — especially the eggs florentine.

Lovely new modern place highly recommended. Very helpful staff and a lovely room with all the mod cons and amenities. Will come again.

On the one hand, I love the location, the hours, and the design of the space. On the other, their coffee has been really hit-or-miss. First off, this place has better hours than any other coffee shop in the area; if I need coffee just before 7am, this is literally the only place I can go. Second, the lobby of the Ace Hotel is a great spot for people-watching, relaxing, and even getting work done — lots of varied seating areas and different types of spaces. Third, the cafe itself is bright and minimalist, nice for a quick cup or a long linger. Unfortunately, I've been served two lattes and a flat white that were barely warm, never mind hot enough to savor for a while, and the staff seems to be a little too more-hipster-than-thou to provide good service (I've never seen anyone smile, or even imply that they give half a **** about me as a customer). If they could tighten up the coffee prep, maybe hire someone from Taylor St or Ozone, I'd definitely be a regular. As it is, it's only on my list when other places are closed.

Great place to go and work in a cool environment with good music. Only complaint is table service was promised but non-existent. Waited 30 mins for my drink before heading to the bar myself. Otherwise great venue.

We traveled from California to London for a 4 day trip, two of those days we were without hot water, imagine traveling that far then not being able to shower upon arrival. The staff promised us over and over that it would be fixed in 20-30 mins every time we called reception, after 3 hours we gave up and went out for dinner without being able to wash. The only compensation was for a free breakfast! I complained to multiple different "Duty Managers" on both days and was assured that the General Manager who would not be back until Monday would reach out to me to discuss further compensation, (I was looking for a full refund for the two days we were without hot water), and surprise surprise I never heard a peep from anyone at the hotel after we checked out. As this is a relatively new hotel it is obvious that they are actually not prepared to be open for business, we saw multiple locations throughout the hotel that had dust still on the carpets, the room we stayed even had a large hole in the bathroom wall that was covered with black tape! Behind it was electrical wires. Disaster from start to finish, we loved London but this hotel really took the shine off the trip for us. I hope no one else has to go through what we did at this hotel.

Original Hotel with spacious rooms (to be London) and very comfortable. In a "modern" neighborhood with excellent Wi-Fi connection.

I, when I travel for personal reasons I am more than looking for accommodation in AirBnB, but when it comes to work and I choose the hotel I usually get pretty lucky and stay in places like this. Completely unaware of the Ace hotel chain but since I can consider a follower, because although the roll hipster is not my lifestyle, the truth is that I really like the proposal offered.
It draws the attention that everything in the hotel is "natural". From the walls and floors covered with wood to the inner paper of the room, which is recycled. This is not why the industrial look is lacking and the diaphanous spaces that are so popular, which predominate in the rooms and common spaces as well as in the room.
In my case I was on a 5th floor with views of the Swiss Re of the same street Shoreditch, but below… approximately. It is very well located, a walkabout from Old Street and Liverpool Street Station if I remember correctly. A pleasure for those who, like me, love to walk and walk in foreign cities.

Didn't stay here, but hired the bowling alley and had drinks with friends which was fantastic. The front of house staff and concierge were notably incredible. It's an undiscovered hotel and venue so far and I would like to revisit to see more atmosphere, the rooftop will be nice to try in the spring.

Big room, big bed with several big pillows, sofa and desk. My room had no view (wall) and I was woken up early by all the machinery below my window outside. Conversely, no nuisance at all from the other lodgers. Great shower with very nice bathing products and lots of towels. Nothing was missing, e. G. Shampoo, hair dryer, comb, bathrobes, slippers, safe, fridge (with only water in it), sewing kit, tooth brush and tooth paste… Very complete (English & European) breakfast. Friendly & helpful personnel.

Had a private party here. Staff were superb, polite, friendly and very helpful. The facilities were very clean spacious. Food/snacks were just right. I would recommend this venue for private functions.

We spent 3 nights and had a great time. Location is great for exploring the East side of London. Design/decor is really nice and the rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel is unbelievably hipster and trendy. Expect dozens of people working on their MacBooks in the lobby from morning till night. There is a good vibe about the place but this will also put some people off.

The Ace is a real Hipster-Magnet, in the Lobby, dozens of crouching young people on their Macbooks, while funky blaring music from the speakers (which you can hear on the first floor, rooms at the best from the 2. Floor for rent). On the walls pictures and bikes hanging, large window panes give a view on the main street. If you come here, you realize immediately that everything here is hipp. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty. Also, they are huge. I had a Couch, a table and a double bed. Everything is well-maintained and smells fine. The bathroom even has a shower AND a bathtub. And tea can be stocked coffee for free with a kettle to prepare, otherwise the Minibar good and fair priced. My room was very quiet, the air conditioning purrs quiet as a kitten. However, they cooled to a minimum of 20 degrees, if you like it cooler, unlucky. A small fly in the ointment: The Windows do not open for fresh air fanatics, therefore, not optimal. The Service is top, the waiters are sometimes a bit lame in the Restaurant when things are busy. Therefore, you should bring for Breakfast some time, otherwise, but there is also a small Bar and a Café in the Lobby, if it needs to be fix. I enjoyed my stay very much, but the price is also very violent. The Wi-Fi was remarkably fine, I never had any problems. Highly recommended.

Went there to visit a friend who works there. And ha a terrible service the staff and the barista don't know what coffee they are working with, ordered a flat white and a espresso to take out and I was given a cappuccino to have in, the barista was unprofessional and dirty. I saw doing a batch brew and he put more than one filter in the basket because he doesn't care I assume in my espresso I had bitterness (channeled) thanks to his tamping technique which was poor and bad executed Definetly won't be back even to see my friend. They have a nitro cold brew and they don't know what coffee is in there either. It is a really bad joke go somewhere To get good coffee and service and in return get this… I hope nothing of this will happen again to anyone. But I'm not coming back.

Excellent five-star hotel in the modernist and juvenile district of Shoredicht. What we do not like is that we asked for a bail of approx 200 euros.

One of the top five coffee shop in my list at London so far, because I prefer strong tasty coffee. And most London coffee is more sour and flat. They have "donuts", which is not every coffee shop have, very "America". Good pastries, beers, cocktails just like other Ace hotel location's. Yes, they have Wi-Fi. Long table with lots of seats and plugs, good for groups people and solo to catch up the works and freelancers. Always host the music on the group floor and other events up stairs.

Excellent rooms and great location. Everything has been seamless so far. This is my second stay and I would highly recommend this place.

Best room service menu and all dishes are delicious. Cozy room and good location, surrounded by many cool shops and restaurants. The only bad thing is there was a member of staff who was rude as she knocked the door and didn't bother to wait for 3 seconds then she opened the door immediately whilst I was topless…

We had a work summer party in the Britannia Room. The staff were awesome and friendly and the roof terrace was amazing with a great view. Great food too! I'd definitely recommend this venue and would happily return there.

Whilst being superbly trendy, this place manages to run a very relaxed but fully featured hotel. The room we stayed in included a vinyl player with a selection of records and the bathroom and beds were perfect for us. The bar downstairs seems very popular, even with non-guests so can get noisy in the evenings.

Uber trendy, rooms are ace but also basic at the same time. Has a high end hostel feel. Also there is a party in the lobby, basement, and roof, was a little loud on a Saturday but good vibe and not disturbing otherwise. I'd recommend if you want to be where the action is.

Great for working/studying, reliable Wi-Fi connection, very good coffee and nibbles. Music starts getting louder at around 7 (very good mix), so it's a good chance to get a drink at the bar.

Lively scene in lobby and great rooftop bar. Located in a very hip area of London with plenty of fun things to do in the surrounding area.

Free-entry desk space in a lovely hotel lobby in the heart of Shoreditch. The point of strenght of the Ace Hotel is probably the location, easy to reach and the fact you can jump in and work without paying any fee. There are few down sides however: the lobby is generally crowded and busy during the week and seats with power sockets nearby are generally the first to go and if you want to ensure one of the seats at the desks you might need to go there in the early morning. Second thing bar is slightly overpriced compared to the London (and shoreditch) average, but the hotel sits right in front of a Tesco and front of the Pump with loads of choices of ethnic food.

Trendy modern hotel in the middle of Shoreditch. Good size rooms and lively buzz about the place. Lobby gets busy with people milling about on their laptops for the free Wi-Fi. Easy walk to the City from here and lots of good local eateries, bars and pubs.

Cool, hip and funky. Popular with the Hipster crowd. However it is a great place for working as they have free Wi-Fi and a large work/chill area with plenty of seats. There is also a great coffee shop (Bulldog Edition) here which helps too.

We popped in for some drinks with friends, the music and atmosphere was great, super chilled vibes. Bar staff were very friendly and professional. Would recommend a visit.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Great view of London from the 7th floor. The location is about 10 minutes walk from old st station but there are buses that will take you closer. I was there for a business event and the room that was used well suited to our needs. It had hidden TV screens and large blinds to keep out the sun (it was a surprisingly hot day). With everything the day was great we enjoyed the event, enjoyed the location.

Such a wonderful place don't have enough good things to say about it! We stayed here for one night recently and it was fabulous. I have stayed at many top London hotels, including the Ritz, Claridges and the Savoy and this one is undoubtedly in the same category. We were lucky enough to be in the Suite which was beautiful, on two levels, spotlessly clean and with every amenity you can think of.

Weird and wonderful, the energy changes so much with the time of the bay, from busy business breakfasts to pacific pomeridian patisseries to divine DJs and drinks. The rooms are fabs, the staff is more.

This was our third stay at an Ace hotel. It lacked some of the charm of other hotels in the chain, but was well maintained and decorated in a slightly retro industrial style. Staff seemed friendly and efficient. We enjoyed a quiet stay in one of the smaller rooms on the fourth floor. A firm yet comfortable bed, and bathtub were welcome. I wasn't so impressed with vast array of novelty purchases and consumables available in the room. Not vastly expensive but anyone not on business expenses will probably want to visit the Tesco opposite. The hotel is well positioned for local bars, clubs and nightlife, with the markets and restaurants of Brick Lane nearby. We didn't make much use of the bar/reception area which hosts regular entertainment events. Space seemed very limited and constantly occupied by drones plugged into their Apple devices. A nice stay, but consider carefully The Hoxton and Shoreditch House nearby.

Having visited two of the other Ace hotels (both of which are In the US) we knew the hotel would be just that! Probably a little less eclectic than the original in Seattle, it still has some lovely features. Easily accessible from London Liverpool Street rail station, it's in a great location. Staff were extremely helpful in letting us check in a whole THREE hours early! Great facilities including a small but well appointed gym, which we made full use of and even a sauna. We didn't get a chance to try out either the bar or restaurant but both were reassuringly busy at all times. Check in was great (see above) and checking out couldn't have been simpler. A little pricey, but no more so than similar properties in the area (we've also stayed at the Hoxton hotel and Shoreditch House hotel). I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel will make you feel proud for himself in London. This is a good place to drink and watch others. We are now restaurants and drink cocktails at the bar. DJ was postponed to open the door, so we waited for a while before going in and dance until late at night.

The food was absolutely amazing, everyone at the table said so. Starters, mains and deserts. Not too expensive. Definitely coming again.

Staff was rude and unpleasant upon check in. Room on the second floor was loud from bar music. Design of room is trying too hard to be cool and industrial. Bed was comfortable. Will not return.

One of my favourite hotels in London! In the lounge you can always find interesting people working on laptops. Be sure you pay a visit to the restaurant (Hoi Polloi)! At the bar normally you get a nice espresso!

Shocked that this hotel is passing as 5 star. The rooms were relatively clean, other than crisp crumbs on the sofa and carpet in desperate in need of a hover. Daily maintenance was really disappointing. Considering the 5 star aspect and price, I at least expected the bedding to be changed everyday. This was not the case — they were not changed for the entirely of our visit. One member of staff was incredibly friendly which was great. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the others. Our room decoration was odd… the wall art which was plain disturbing. Food is pricy though not bad. Sneaky with their in room products — you have to pay for EVERYTHING which is obviously designed to catch you out. Strange atmosphere in the lobby… people seem to use it as a work space!? Not really what I was expecting — this 'hipster' farce they are functioning under actually comes across rather segregational if you do not fit this hotels sterotype. Would not recommend — you can find somewhere considerably better for that kind of money.

It is a shame that in one of the cities most beautiful in the world, because they did not want to leave the hotel. It has everything, brasserie, cocktail bar, shops. …

(This is a review of the bar on the ground floor of the hotel) A very open space with a definite Shore. The walls look concrete, there's street art on the walls and it's full of hipsters on laptops Food: Pretty nice bar snacks and light bites. The cocktails were very nice but the standard affair. Ambience: It feels very hip with the aforementioned artwork and laptop hogging hipsters. The furniture is very nice. Though the over-abundance of silent laptop warriors does make this place feel a little sterile. Price: Reasonable Service: Courteous Worth the visit: A solid bar choice. Just not overly special.

Super concept, super relaxed and super nice!

Possibly the most hipster of London right now. In the modernisisisimo neighborhood of Shoreditch, everything is at the height of what was expected: from the personal to the room. With guitar and turntable included. Not suitable for those looking for something classic. Expensive — as all hotels in London — but this at least is to come home and tell about it.
