It's dirt cheap and you can expect the same standards for what you pay compared to other local places.

Dirty, beds dirty, room smells of toilet, milk gone off absolutely disgusting.

I am very disappointed after spending a night here.
The room is dirty, hasn't seen a duster for a long while
no pillows, just a flat cushion, so hardly slept
lots of noise from the room next door, going on quite late
the toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor during the night, so we couldn't use the facilities
Didn't get our free breakfast as we were told it didn't start until 6am, we had to leave at 6.15, and I was slightly worried about what state the food would be in
will never stay here again, I would rather pay more and have a comfortable stay.

Relatively inexpensive for a stay close to the airport! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would use again for future visits.

The worst hotel I have stayed in, so far. The room had not been cleaned, blanket and sheet had clearly been used before, and not been changed for me. No towel, just a tiny one for the floor, which had also clearly been used by the previous visitor. No cupboard, no chair, no table, no place to put your stuff except the floor. I arrived at 23:00 in the evening. After informing the guy at the reception that there was no hot water, he pretended to put it on, but didn't. After an hours wait, I had a cold shower before going to bed after a long, hot day. Same thing in the morning — no hot water. Judging by the looks, the paper napkin in the coffee mug had not been replaced for quite a while. I boiled some water to desinfect the mug before using it. No chair, no coathanger, let alone cupboard. A small TV, alright. For around 70 pounds not exactly a bargain, I'd say. On the pro side: I didn't catch any bug bites.

Perfect for preflight stay. Basic but functional. Bit noisy as people were leaving for early flights, but all in all pretty good. Bed bit too soft for me.

Pros:- Relatively inexpensive. A 50m walk to a bus stop to catch a bus to the airport terminal for £1.50 — which is better value than the £14 for a taxi or £6 for their shuttle service (whenever it actually runs). Wi-Fi — but very limited coverage. Cons:- Traffic noise if in a front room. Hot water runs out halfway through a shower. An "interesting" smell to the towels. Hair in the sink plughole. Two Electrical Sockets unusable because the bedside table is fitted right up tight underneath the sockets. Continental Breakfast buffet not replenished during the hours it's on. Wi-Fi does not extend to rooms at the front. Night staff and Day staff give out conflicting information. Would I use it again? No!

Moved rooms from the ground floor after what we will call "solid proof" that the room hadn't been cleaned was found in the toilet. Should have stayed where we were as the new room was on the top floor, had a tiny window, and was hot enough to appear in three separate cantos of Dante's Inferno. Would suit a blind plane-spotter who likes to identify his or her prey by the distinctive sound of each engine. You will not need an alarm call if wanting to wake up after six thirty. My sister returned to her room to find herself locked out. The lad on reception reluctantly tore himself away from 24 hour music TV and got involved enough to ask if her window was open to retrieve her bags. To be fair, most of the bread in the "continental" breakfast was not mouldy.

I did not like at all to go to the gates of boarding you have to do all the tour of the airport just to pass by the cafes shops it is commercial, after it do not pass the priority what it does that they miss their planes between the search Suitcases, bags and people!

Would have wanted to put 0 stars, but first: I can't, and second: it was cheap and the rooms were okay. The reception is closed from 11am to 3pm, and when you call, you get someone who hang up the phone when asked something. Then, when you finally get to check-in, a woman tells you that she'd call you a cab — it never came, so we'd have to call one ourselves in the morning (not so convenient when you have a flight). The woman didn't even apologize, and said that she called a cab, that it would come, even tho it didn't. Also, they don't have a restaurant, and in order to eat dinner, you have to go in another restaurant, about 6 minutes away — lovely place tho, lovely service there, and great food. Then, there were no bag in the trashcan in the bathroom (even tho that's not a big deal). Wouldn't recommend at all.

I booked a room with a shared bathroom and ended up with my own bathroom, BONUS! Next to road and cars heard all night due to poor insulation. Beds what you would’ve expect for the price. Cold rooms. I ended up at the wrong hotel due to the name being similar to another hotel. The name should be more individual as this was a big waste of money and time and the lady at the other hotel said it happens at least once a week and that her lodge had been named first? Man told me he couldn’t book me a taxi for the morning because I needed to pay by card. I booked my own and wasn’t worried, but from previously living in Essex I knew he was lying/wrong?! Anyone could have booked the taxi! Breakfast was good for price.

Worst service ever. Man at desk when we arrived at 24:05 was VERY RUDE and aggressive! He complained that we were late and he'd canceled our booking… Even though I called them hours before to say we'd be delayed landing in stansted airport… He actually scrunched up our booking receipt and dropped it in front of me! I thought we'd have to sleep outside in the pouring rain as it looked like he would refuse us until he suddenly switched and turned in a nice guy saying "don't worry. I have room for you". Couldn't really understand his English. Absolutely terrible experience! The room was nice and clean but right next to the lobby where "Mr nice guy" was sitting. Made me very uncomfortable. Couldn't find the lock for the door so I asked the guy and he spent what felt like forever to explain how it works and why they use that system… I don't care! I need to sleep! Wouldn't recommend it.

Small and functional… breakfast is to be improved.

I think recently refurbished and some good things — nice room and helpful receptionist. However, my room (27) key card never worked and if I wanted to go out, I had to find staff to let me back in! Probably needs a while longer to settle.

Nice place to spend the night 10 minutes from Stansted airport, breakfast below the rest it's a shame. Welcoming and warm staff.

Good stay for airport. Clean and tidy with new lobby and some room refurbishments. Little decorative touches make it looked after. They could display bus times to airport in lobby.

The receptionist was kind enough to stay out later for our super late check-in. Inexpensive, clean and close to the airport.

The accommodation in central London is usually very cumbersome. Getting to this hotel after days in the center is like entering a palace.

Great location, 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Very nice room (There are USB ports to charge your phones/tablets, but you will still need an EU-sockets adapter to use other devices). The only drawback was the total absence of the owners that we only heard over the phone. Very good price.

Okay for one night, but definitely wouldn't stay more. Very convenient location but the drains smelt awful, dripping pipes through the night and decor was extremely dated. If you're flying from Stansted the next day, then still worth a short stay.

Very polite and Courteous gentleman at the desk. Loved the location. 5 minutes to london Stansted airport by bus, available quite frequently. Very quite place, away from city chaos. Every thing well organized.

If your in a pickle then its not bad but wouldn't recommend it if you had a choice. Grubby bathroom, uncomfy bed, front door slams so wakes you up everytime someone leaves for their flight the list goes on.

Good and cheap place to stay the night before flying. Very close to the airport. I would say that you shouldn't book a taxi through them though as it costs £14. Uber may be a better option.

A good hotel for accommodation after arrival or before departure. Continental breakfast, tea in-room coffee, free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Only pleasant impressions remained.

Terrible experience. They confirmed my booking, nobody was at reception and they left no key at all. They’ve done the same thing before but enough is enough will never use them again. I called for assistance and nobody was picking the number they left at the deserted reception area. After calling 3 times at 1am someone picked and I was told to just search myself for whatever key. I found 2 keys, both to dirty used rooms. I paid 60 pounds to sleep at a dirty room on someone else’s used and tangled bedsheets, used towels, dirty bathroom, used mugs no tea and rubbish all over the room with no bin anywhere. Breakfast is all the cheapest everyday value stuff and again nobody at reception in the morning. I paid to stay at someone else’s dirty room.

Nice and easy, no hassle, could be a problem with waitingif extremely busy but all in all a stress free experience.

Brilliant for late checkin but the sign really NEEDS to light up more so can see it. Drove past it. Room was freezing though. Nice touch with coffee etc but could with more than 2 mini pots milk. No hot water at all to shower or wash and after a long flight late checkin really wanted to fresh in up not in freezing water.

We had planned to spend 2 nights there however we couldn't bring ourselves to. The rooms were so dusty that my allergies played up all the time, we had no hot water in the shower and then the staff got really nasty with us once we complained. They even lied about giving us a refund and we're now left owing £130 for a night we paid but never stayed there. Do yourselves a favour and stay with the competition, these guys don't care about their customers.

Do not stay there, you deserve better! We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples for 2 nights and had the trip from hell! Broken shower, no hot water, lingering sewage smell from the toilet, a construction site outside the window where they were burning things… these are just the highlights. We complained and said we wanted to leave so they agreed to give us a refund saying we need to liaise with booking. Com to get a refund for the 2nd night. When booking. Com got in touch with them they claimed we stayed the 2nd night! After we disputed that they simply flat-out refused to give us the refund. You don't need this in your life and they don't deserve your business.

A simple and affordable hostel. Good deal. Perfect if you need an accommodation near the airport.

It's good an quite clean. Staff is nice but the coffee machine wasn't working. Apart from that it's very convenient ubication and going to the airport it's as easy as taking a bus.

Broken shower with no hot water, exposed wiring, staff that didn't care, awful excuse for breakfast.

It wasn't perfect but it was cheap and so close to Stansted. The bedroom was very clean and you can't grumble with free Wi-Fi and breakfast.

The check in in this bad & Breakfast is done late afternoon and of course checking out early in the morning, stuff you don't believe in your eyes!

Contrary to the name, it is not very close to the airport of the old, as it makes you believe. The only way we can get there is the taxy. The hotel is a little isolated but cozy, the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price. Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

I was there two nights, very clean, the only problem was at some point I had to open the window because there was a crazy heat.

Nice quite lodge really close to Stansted Airport. Perfect if you need to catch a flight early in the morning. The owner is very nice and eventhough check-in was supposed to be at 5 pm, when we arrived 2 hours earlier, we got checked in no problem. The room was nice, with a very large bathroom, with bath and shower combination, a toilet and two sinks. Although one of the sinks was not working. Furthermore was also the fire alarm in our room missing. For 6 pounds they also drive you to the aiport at any time in the morning. All in all a very nice place to stay near the aiport.

Good value for money Friendly and we'll organised family serve Pick-up and drop off service to/from stansted at any time Car park Room (less than essential. :).

We enjoyed our stay!, clean&tidy and ok to get to London from epping.

Worth the effort. We pre hired taxi from airport 24/7.
