Very bad site, and the commissioned a very unpleasant person.

Convenient location if you want to get some sleep or something to eat before going to the airport.

Lovely host made to feel very welcome. Very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again. Did everything possible to make our stay a nice experience even though are stay was short and sweet. Very close to the airport. Also arranged taxi for airport ✈

Friendliest owner, super convenient, clean, nice. They went out of their way to help and assist. Plus, it was such a surprise to be in such a cozy place near the airport.

Extremely rude and has false advertising on Booking. On Booking it states quite clearly that airport transfers can be arranged after 0700. When arriving, we called, willing to wait, but were told it was a hassle and we could pay 13 pounds for a taxi or walk with our luggage nearly a mile to the bus stop. We were also told at this time that the payment could only be in cash, which is also not indicated. We're traveling and don't want to take out cash from an expensive airport ATM when we're leaving the country tomorrow. When we said we would be cancelling, we were told rudely that we should read more carefully, "where does it say I do airport transfers, " etc. Although we advised of our cancellation early, we were told there would be a "fee" of the full price of the room. This woman wrote "i knew you would cancel when I said cash only, " just kind of rubbing it in. Really awful. I can be flexible but we were really tired and just wanted the airport pickup the booking promised. We were not about to stay with such a person so we opted to just wait out the night in the airport. :). It was certainly better than staying with her. Avoid at all costs.

A 400 year old building adapted well to modern expectations. It's not far to Stansted airport and only a short walk to The Green Man pub for high class evening meals. The only thing better than the choices of breakfast (I chose cooked) was the welcome of the hosts. Really nice and interesting people.

Very nice and typical b&b off Stansted airport. The building is quite old, but characteristic. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with all you need from a b&b. Despite the carpet being everywhere, this place is very neat and clean, and I tested it. The landlady is very nice and gentle thus confirming she loves the job she does. Haven't had a chance to test the full cooked breakfast because I have left very early. Absolutely recommended.

Unsurpassable experience. A house with hundreds of years of history and fully renovated. The rooms look like new and the breakfast is delicious. Very hospitable people. The trip to the airport is just 2.5£ and can be splitted with other people.
