Fantastic hospitality from Sue and Alan. Morning breakfast was superb plenty of choices and I opted for the full English Breakfast. Room was OK bed was a bit creaky but great value for money. Would highly recommend and ask Sue for Black Pudding when you are there. Watch her reaction lol. Thumbs up from moi!

Small hotel very cozy and very good breakfast. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
I don't give you any more score for the bed. Very uncomfortable, we were sinking in the middle of the bed.

We booked this hotel at the last minute as my daughter had a cheer competition and we couldn't get anywhere near the venue. Straight away we were impressed with the lovely lady Teresa over the phone. Great customer service and very helpful and friendly On arrival we met Teresa and straight away she was just lovely and very welcoming. She showed us to our room. We had the triple room… It was gorgeous. Everything about the room was amazing. We had a lovey cooked breakfast in the morning. The best we have ever had when staying in a hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely place to stay sue and Alan are great hosts rooms are great.

Couldn't have made us feel more welcome, genuinely felt as if we had been invited into someone's home… Room was spotless too! Only a few minutes walk from the O2 academy and from Boscombe pier, highly recommended and would happily stay again next time we are near.

Great host fantastic breakfast. Plus use fridge most microwave toaster…

My mother stayed there very much enjoyed her stay, friendly staff good breakfast and reasonably priced.

Great location. Friendly proprietor. The only thing holding it back from 5* is the dated decor and shower being a dribble of Luke warm water. Other than that, excellent.

Lovely owner and lovely building. The shower didn't work and the warm water was a bit brown. Apart from that though, we felt very welcome :)

Just returned from this year's fab stay in The Kingsley! My elderly mother, myself and 12 year old daughter have been staying in The Kingsley for the past 10 years. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the hotel to anyone of any age or background. The Kingsley has much to offer in that it is centrally located to lots of interesting places in Dorset and only 5 mins from gorgeous beaches. Sue the owner keeps the hotel spotless, her breakfasts set you up for the day with a wide choice of menu options. All of our stays have been friendly and welcoming and we cant ever wait to go back. Lovely warm friendly people. Only stayed one night but it was worth the £'s. Clean sheets, clean room and lively choice for breakfast.

Fantastic staff and lovely spacious rooms make for a warm welcome at this hotel. Decent size communal room and lovely breakfasts cooked to order with a large selection of fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. Will certainly be back again. Thank you.

Lovely place. Nothing fancy, but nothing fancy required. Tidy rooms, very clean and warm. A good size breakfast, either fruit and cereal or full English (or pick which bits you want, e. G. Just beans and toast) with tea and coffee in the room. Quiet area but only 5min walk to beach and 10mins to centre of Boscombe with plenty of pubs, places to eat and two super-markets. Three days there. You get a key and can come and go as you please, though Sue likes to get your breakfast time so she can prep. Visited a few places and there's good food and quirky, interesting bars with live music dotted around — so plenty of distractions to pass an evening. Sue (Owner) was very hospitable and looked after us well, even let us play a little music one night in a quite corner! Highly recommended.

Great service and the second time I've stayed there. Breakfast was great and very clean. 10 minutes from the beach and quiet location.

We had a fantastic nights stay here! Really friendly, helpful staff, the cleanliness was immaculate, great cooked breakfast with a great choice, our room was lovely and cosy, and also very quiet. Will definitely be coming again, Can't recommend enough!

Lovely lovely staff and THE best breakfast including 6 different types of fresh fruit — yoghurt with no added sugar and of course, the cooked breakfast is great. Fresh filtered coffee etc etc. Rooms are spacious clean and lovely.

Only stayed over one night but would thoroughly recommend it! Hosts most helpful and welcoming-nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast, spoilt for choice, lovely room. Will be back again.

Having already read the reviews I decided to give it a go for a last minute weekend trip to Bournemouth with my daughter. There is some parking out the front but not enough for me to find a space so I had to park quiet far down the road. We were in room twelve which is on the ground floor next to the front door, it could be noisy as you are right by the main door into the building. The night we stayed apart from the odd person coming in and out we were not disturbed. The room itself is a twin, nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. It has a separate very small bathroom with shower and toilet, the sink is in the main room. Small TV and a DVD player, a kettle with tea making. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of cereals, fruit, yoghurt then a full English breakfast which was cooked to order and lovely. Added a star because of the breakfast.
