Such a fantastic b&b, lovely room and comfy beds. The owners are lovely and welcoming, adding little touches which go a long way! whilst we didn't make it to breakfast, it smelt lovely. Lovely family run accommodation, would definitely return.

Nice house right over the cities Harbour. Five minutes walk to the marina and the best pub in town — the Hole In The Wall. Rooms are all vintage, clean and welcoming. Great breakfast. Dawn and Dave are English as can be. Very helpful and always up for a chat. Best B&B of our whole trip.

Budget friendly without compromising quality! The host is very welcoming and so as her very lovely dog who waited for us while we're getting our stuffs from the car. Breakfast is also very good and portion is also very good. The place is very accessible to lots of restaurants and beach.

All the reviews are right — we spent just one night but found the location very good, room clean and comfortable bed and of course excellent breakfast provided by equally excellent hostess.

Perfect family guest house. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and shown to our room. It was clear that this was not only one of the limited accommodations offering a room for a family/group of five, but that the standard to which it is kept is exceptional. The bedroom is spacious enough for the group of five with plenty of towels, tea and coffee. A particular highlight is the breakfast such a wide range to choose from, my children enjoying the fluffy American pancakes, the men a full English, which is very well presented and perfectly cooked, whilst I opted for a vegetarian cooked breakfast, which was lovely, as was the breakfast coffee. Dawn and David are very friendly and ready to assist with anything. Good knowledge of local attractions, even had a discount voucher :-) Thankyou so much for our lovely stay with you. We hope to see you and Oscar again soon.

Quite simply put, the finest B&B I have ever stayed in. Dawn, David & Oscar the Dog offer a warm, friendly yet totally unimposing service which is second to none. The rooms are spotless yet homely, the facilities excellent and the Breakfast is the best of the best. Seriously. I have stayed in 5 Star Hotels all over the world that pale in comparison. Fresh Fruits, Yogurt, Cereal, Juice, Coffee, tea, FULL ENGLISH (all excellently cooked) American Pancakes… the list goes on and on… I have never stayed in a B&B with my family before — I usually opt for hotels or Holiday Cottages — as kids and dogs tend to need space and are quite demanding, however, my 7 and 11 year old kids, wife and dog all loved this place too. We are already planning our return trip and can not recommend this place highly enough.

Just spent three nights at Ashleigh house and loved every moment of it. Warm greeting from Dawn started our stay off perfectly and was treated to fantastic breakfasts each morning. Room was spotless and had everything we needed so when we come back to Torquay we will definitely stay here again. And can't forget the kids best friend oscar the dog, so cute.

Had a lovely time, breakfast was the best ever, Dawn and David are very welcoming, but best of all was Oscar he made it home from home thanks for having us xxxx.

Great place to stay, beautiful house and marvellous breakfast. Definitely recommend Ashleigh House if you want a friendly welcome. Walking distance from the sea but a quiet location.

Ashley House is the best B&B we have ever stay in. Dawn & David made us very welcome and Dawns breakfasts are legendary, the Room we had was lovely right at the top of the house. Your very close to the harbour and shop to. If you thinking of going to Torquay stay at Ashleigh House we highly recommend it, we will definitely stay again.
