Extremely dissatisfied that whilst awaiting a COVID PCR test result in Wales unfortunately on a special birthday weekend the hotel declined to honour, the hotel website — promise of a voucher to use at a later date NB. We live in Wales where it’s still currently a legal requirement to self isolate to whilst awaiting test results with up to £2000 fine plus having a social responsibility to do so. However the hotel would not honour this as we cancelled at 7.30am on the day of planned arrival as this the day/night I became unwell. Very disappointed and in fact the hotel promise of a voucher to rebook if said circumstances did occur was one of the main reasons we choose your hotel, along with wanting to support smaller independent businesses post COIVD. Will stick to reputable larger hotels in the future who honour their promises and also don’t encourage you to still visit with COVID SYMPTOMS.
