I went today with my friend and kids. Lovely owners, always smiling and positive. Food was nice and didn't wait to long. Definetly go again mainly because how friendly the staff was. Felt very welcome.

Was a good hotel for the price. Nice, clean and friendly staff. Stayed 4 days for a very good price.

The room was very nice and spacious. However, it is above a lively pub, and it being summer it was VERY noisy untill gone midnight. Dont expect your usual t. V. Channels, no BBC! Personally I wouldn't eat there or go again.

Fantastic Value, comfortable room, parking no problem. We enjoyed our stay.

Visited Boundary on & off over the years. This is our 1st visit in 18 months. Beer tasted better than previous visits. Great rock band on, which meant more staff on which was better. Didn't try the food, may do next time. Had some good night's & meals over the years, but also had some terrible meals & customer service.

First time I actually ate there with my boyfriend and we both enjoyed it. Food and drink was delicious staff was polite and friendly and a great place to take children.

The rooms are big and clean. But everything inside is a bit dated (70s). Attached to an unsophisticated pub. So if you into this kind of staff, you'd love it.

Appalling service. Order messed up. Very bad attitude shown by supervisor when I complained about 45 minute wait, no cutlery and incorrect food!

Lovely place, staff are excellent and very friendly. Room was large and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely use again.

Hotel rooms are situated away from the pub, clean and well looked after. Reception is at the bar, and breakfast served in the bar area. A choice of continental or cooked breakfast, with a choice of cooked, from full English to edges Benedict.

Good parking, really good outdoor seating! Downside it's slightly more expensive than other pubs, but has a little area indoors for kids to be occupied during your stay. More than likely would visit again.

Poor show really. They stopped doing food just as we got served at the bar at 5.05pm, had been waiting for 20 minutes to try to get served so if they had more bar staff on then maybe we would have got some food. Guy who served me really wasn't bothered.

Slightly unusual location but close to major transport links. Nice clean modern hotel rooms. Function room is large with a separate bar and dance floor. Good for weddings or business meetings.

Good selection of pub food at great prices. The double whammy burger is an absolute steal at less than a tenner!

Good entertainment Saturday 24th Feb. Only downside not enough people in. I was not able to find any info about what's on. Needs promoting better. This place was very busy years ago. What happened?

A quick stop over and pretty good accommodation for the price. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was reasonable.

Handy stop off point for a pint or two. Unlike most other pubs these days it does usually seem quite busy & there's a decent atmosphere. Never had a meal here, but looks like the usual sort of menu you get in a chain pub. Plenty of seating, only downer is they removed the pool table : (otherwise no complaints.

The drinks and food are good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean and tidy.

My husband has stayed there and says nice rooms but cant eat out of it staff ok and frendly.

Fab location, food was ok and reasonably priced but the drinks were quite expensive, we had a carvery which was nice and some good choice.

Would not recommended this place. When I made contact with the manager, about no hot water. I found him rude and unprofessional.

What a experience where should I start?. Everything from start to finish was possibly the worst restaurant experience I have witnessed. We booked for a party of 14 and everything was a disgrace. 1. Food was well below standard (cold, sloppy, inedible) 2. Service shocking (not once was we asked if it was ok 1 plate of so called food not even touched it WAS that bad. ) 3. Daughter is dairy intolerant 3 times we had to send her meal back because the produced the wrong food. (best thing the 3rd time they asked if she would like cheese and crackers? (I TAKE IT THEY HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL) Honestly I could go on and on it is just a shambles if you are thinking of going here do yourself a favour seriously think again very very poor just gutted I had to give it 1 star it really doesn't deserve that.

First time we'd been in a long while, last time we went it wasn't the greatest. Looks like it's had a new manager and this time it was brilliant. Really warming atmosphere will definitely be going again. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food.

Poor service, if you're not a regular not much chance of getting service with a smile or at any speed.

Visited the boundary for a formal evening in a function room. Had drinks in the pub bar first goid choice of real ales and was very busy due to the event that was on.

Good sized rooms with both bath and shower. Free Wi-Fi automatically when selected from options. Comfortable beds, free coffee, heating as required. Meals (and drinks) at adjacent pub. Full English breakfast included in price. I had lovely two course lunch for just £4.95. Better if you drive as it's an uphill walk from train station!

I and my family came to this hotel to stay overnight while visiting relatives. When we first arrived at the hotel it turned out that the website we had booked with had not accounted for the hotel being overbooked and, as a result of this, our family of 5 were cooped up in a room together (I had to sleep next to the hotel door). The food was not too great either. However the main issue was the music which is still blaring till the time that I am writing this review (11:30pm). Due to the location of our room we are right above this music and not only did my little brother struggle to sleep but I am starting to be driven slightly mad by the crappy rave music being played. Pretty much don't come here if an event is on as it will disrupt your sleep and your sanity. Anyway I'm going to try and sleep through music comparable to human feces. Goodnight.

Lovely place. Very modern pub. Food was beautiful. Staff very friendly and very efficient. There are some very good food and drink offers here.

Hotel noisy the week end due to the presence of a nightclub on the ground floor Management does not seem to respect customers tired Other correct aspect.

Positive and friendly staff, great prices great food.

Had a carvery. Carrots were a bit hard everything else was nice. Great place to take kids.

Lovely pub pity the bar staff don't communicate with kitchen was asked if wanted salad or chips meal came no chips it's salad with that dish u can pay for chips which will be 5 to ten mins as the waitress did not no that meant me leaving my meal to go cold while I go and pay for chips if I wanted them as to say not impressed.

I love this place however I think they need to improve on the standard of food. Such a shame. Always well over cooked and the menu selection is not great. However it is a lovely place and the staff are so nice.

My partner and I went for an evening meal and both had the wild west burger with a pint of beer. The staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly. We both enjoyed our food. Couldnt pick fault with anything whilst we were there.

Been for a family meal tonight to be served with a lasagne that was not fit enough to feed a dog. I don't like complaining but asked if I could swap for another meal which I was happy with but 1 hour later asked where the meal was then to have the waitress come up give us the money back and said sorry we forgot to reply order it. Not even offered a drink or pudding all I can say is thank God for Co Co sun next door which was a fantastic meal served within 15 mins.

Cheeky bar staff always up for a laugh, nice food and we'll kept beer.

Sat outside for a drink and meal. Food order was incorrect but, in fairness, they did sort it out very well. Food was as expected, drink was cold and wet. Dogs allowed outside under covered seating. Will call again because its local and convenient.

This is a marstons pub with a focus on beer. There is a large open plan lounge and nice outside seating / garden area.

Been going there for 5yrs,,, excellent accommodation, friendly staff, great food, spotless pub,,, great entertainment, love it,, were both 75yrs young.

We went for drinks and to watch the group that was playing. Good selection of drinks however I think there could be more special offers on the wines etc. Wasn't as busy as expected but the group were good.

Excellent sized rooms and always happy to accommodate families. Some may have issues during party season with music coming from function room, however this does usually end before midnight. This should not put you off booking an excellent local hotel with friendly staff.

Best pub in South Normanton! great food and cracking ales.

If I've been up here, it is until now the best Hotel, good sized room, delicious food.
