It was amazing from start to finish Emma our wedding coordinator kept the day running smooth and me on time, the room was set up beautifully before my venue dresser even arrived. Everything was put out perfectly and the day was amazing, food was brilliant and the rooms were spotless and perfect! Food and drinks are always absolutely amazing here however if your looking to get married soon me and my husband would absolutely recommend it. We got married yesterday and the day was absolutely perfect and nothing went wrong. We had Emma as our coordinator and she was perfect from when we booked our date, appointments up to the date and the big day she’s helped us to create the perfect day. The day run smooth and was seamless and the venue is absolutely stunning the staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. A huge Thankyou for making our big day the best it could have been and we’ll definitely be back for food, drinks and a hotel stay soon. A huge Thankyou from the new Mr and Mrs Nettleship ❤️

We came today for a bottomless brunch, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. It’s our second time and we will certainly be back!

Elle our wedding coordinator made our day perfect from start to finish. I cannot thank each and every member of staff enough, the service and the food was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Our suite was beautiful and all the rooms our family stayed in were fabulous, the breakfast was delicious. 5 stars all round. All our love Mr and Mrs Wood.

Always love playing here, whether it's an acoustic set in the bar / restaurant or a full live band set at a wedding in the main room.

We had our wedding here and it really was lovely. Emma, our wedding organiser, did everything she could and as a result it was fairly stress free! The rooms looked gorgeous and the food was lovely.

We had an amazing stop over here en-route home from our anniversary weekend in Cheltenham. In Cheltenham we stayed at a very posh 5* hotel in an historic house. Well, The White Hart put it to shame with the amazing food, very friendly and helpful team, room, cleanliness, setting… and those gorgeous Scotch Eggs. All this at a fantastic price. Well White Hart you have new regular guests.

The meal was not the best and pudding not much better. Waited long time before it was served.

I’m sorry to say we visited the other night, the food was ok but not worth the money, the service was terrible so disappointing we were seated and waited 15mins before taking our drinks order.

What a beautiful place to stay, the staff were very friendly. The service in the restaurant for lunch, evening meal and breakfast was faultless. Room was very clean and spacious we had a lovely time away. Our only fault was the room for our evening meal, I call as an overflow room as this was a few tables in a function room with full bright lighting and a sterile atmosphere compared to the actual restaurant. And shared with a wedding party only sectioned off with a wooden partition. If this is going to be continued for the foreseeable future maybe consider the decor and lighting.
We would definitely recommend the The White Hart Inn and look forward to going again.

Me and my fiance came here for afew days away same have been blown away by it, it's amazing! so peaceful and quiet our room was stunning and we had an amazing view from our windows.

Beautiful 2 night stay in the tranquil Hart Suite! Cannot wait to come back. The views from the room were stunning. Very friendly staff especially Shift manager Toni for who nothing was too much trouble and really went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect!

Went today with my mum and daughter for lunch. Eat out help out made it almost free and the food was lovely. Staff were busy so had a bit of a wait (just expect that) but food more than made up for it.

We had our wedding at The White Hart Inn in March this year and we can’t recommend the venue enough! Our wedding coordinator Libby was fantastic and everything ran like clock work The venue and food is beautiful and the staff were brilliant. Thank you so much for our perfect day!

A very late review but we had out wedding here at the end of November, moved from the hurt arms after it had unfortunately flooded.
Everyone including us were extremely impressed by the whole place. Our wedding food was an absolute FEAST for for Kings and the portions were way bigger than expected and the food was absolutely delicious. Including the extras and buffet food provided in the evening. The honeymoon suite is absolutely divine with a jacuzzi/bath/super shower more than big enough for two people. Only thing that could be improved is a much more in depth guide on how to use the controls as I got squirted in the face a few times but that only made me laugh The bed was huge and super super comfy and lots of channels on the TV including music channels that were great to have on whilst I got ready to walk down the aisle. The venue room was more than plenty big enough for us all to be able to spread out, dance and still sit down. The outside area is beautiful and provided stunning photo opportunity's the drinks are really reasonably priced and the staff are amazing. A very special mention to Shannon who organised us through our day she did an absolutely spectacular job and made the whole day stress free for us. And thank you so much for the card, champagne and truffles when we retired to our room, it was a beautiful touch. We will be booking the honeymoon suite again as soon as we get chance thank you.

We enjoyed a fantastic Christmas dinner here today! Well worth it! We brought our dog with us which was lovely that he could be part of the festivities. The food, as always was amazing and staff were very professional, polite and in the Christmas spirit which made the whole experience perfect. Thank you!

Had afternoon tea today, everything was excellent. Fresh sandwiches, delicious cakes & scones, mince pies were lovely.

A family crisis nearly put paid to my daughters wedding last week but for the extraordinary efforts, goodwill and sheer hard work of the management and staff at this beautiful venue there might not have been a wedding at all. Thanks particularly to Natalie, the wedding coordinator for reorganising things at such short notice to enable the wedding to go ahead. Fantastic food, outstanding hospitality. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you.

My daughter and son in law were married at the White Hart last Saturday 21st July and I can’t praise it enough. It was a fabulous day from start to finish and everyone had an amazing time. The venue was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious and all of the staff from cleaners, reception, bar and waitresses were very professional, polite and helpful throughout the day. Thank you to everyone especially Milly who made my pizza for helping to make their day so special.

My first time here on the 7th July. I was attending my beautiful nieces wedding celebration. A wedding is a very special occasion and this one was no exception as the bride lost her beloved father only last October. The staff at the pub were very caring and considerate of this. And displays of her dad were dotted here and there in the decoration of the room. The food was very nice and tasty in deed. We were served very quickly and the food was nice and hot. So a big round of applause to the pub it's staff and the management for helping to give Jessica and her new husband Ben a wonderfull day to remember. Thank you so much.

Lovely light and airy atmosphere… great coffee. Great pub food… bit greasy for me… Gammon and burger were quite oily… but looking around the meals looked tasty… fish and chips looked good… but as you can see by photo… burger was very tasty… just not good for the hips lol.

Poor… Empty pub and about a dozen staff but still waited over an hour for 2x lunch menu meals. Very poor value for money. Expected a light meal and that's what we got. Ridiculously small portions of fish and meat. Barely enough for the bread it was with. Bread was stale/microwave thawed. Would not recommend…

Great menu cooked to perfection. Very good service just got a bit noisy as big parties arrived and the sound echos.

We went to a 50th wedding anniversary here and it was lovely, lots of choice for food and drink, great photo opportunities and lots of parking available.

Very good food at a good price. Only downside we found was it was a bit noisy. Not good for a romantic meal but good for a small group as it has a busy buzzing atmosphere.

Love love love! Went here for the bottomless brunch with a group of friends, staff were great and constantly running back and forth for us, I had the eggs Florentine which were amazing! A few friends had different things, the full English, the pancakes, not a single complaint from anybody, it was so good! We went on a sunny day and the place was packed even outside will definitely be returning.

How lucky am I, a few weeks ago I attended a classic car meeting at this lovely location and while I was there I posted a few photographs of the cars on instagram, I was not aware that there was a competition for posting on social media by the restaurant but I was lucky and I won a three course meal for two, on the 15th of April we went for the meal and it was really fabulous my wife and I was both stuffed, I would just like to say we was treated with the upmost care and the service was great and we will be returning, thank you for your hospitality it was Supadupa!

Visited The White Hart on two separate occasions during our Easter break. On first occasion we dropped in for a few drinks after walking the dogs. The Inn is dog friendly and there were a number of tables designated for such. We really enjoyed our drinks and the homely atmosphere. The dogs enjoyed the fuss from the staff and the occasional chew. We returned the next afternoon for Sunday roast, dogs in tow again! The food was lovely and well priced, veg locally sourced. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this Inn either for a few drinks or meal. We will be returning when next in the area.

Good food but the restaurant lacks some ambience due to it's layout. It's a long straight room that feels more like a galley or canteen type layout. That's not to say the decor and the food isn't nice however, but it's not greatly suited in my opinion to small romantic/intimate meals.

Lovely place to stay, really nice rooms, nice staff, beautiful surroundings and so well priced for what you get. Breakfast was delicious and couldn't fault any of it at all. Unfortunately due to the storm there was a power cut and as such the emergency lighting came on in the room about 3 times in the early hours of the morning. Not only was the room totally lit up but also there was a beeping sound waking me up. Not the hotel's fault really but wasn't ideal with emergency lighting being soooooo bright.

Fabulous venue. Sang here New Year's Eve — beautifully decorated and staff very helpful. Would recommend.

Visited on Saturday 30 December for the evening meal (including a bottle of wine), room and breakfast deal, (we did upgrade room to include a spa bath, highly recommended) this was a 60th Birthday gift for my husband and he let me come as well! From start to finish it was a fantastic experience, we were in need of some relaxation and we weren't let down. On entering our room we both said "wow"! Our evening meal another "wow"! And breakfast "wow"! Every member of staff, we came in contact with, from, hotel reception, cleaners, bar staff and table service were so lovely and pleasant. So in ending this review we would like to say thank you we had a wonderful visit, and hope to come again soon.

I went here for a wedding. This place is in the middle of no where and surrounded by beautiful peak scenery. The building it self is old but renovated to a high level and is really nice on the outside and the in. The service is great and all the staff are very professional, polite and helpful. The food here was amazing and the price of drinks was more than acceptable. I will be going back just for food and cant wait for drinks outside on the sun there.

Stayed overnight after attending a wedding and reception. Food very good staff very friendly room very comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was again very good with a wide choice of breakfast dishes. All in all an enjoyable stay would recommend it and would visit and stay again. I would also like to really thank jade for finding my eternity ring which I forgot.

Excellent venue, attended a wedding and reception really good food staff extremely helpful and very friendly. All together a very enjoyable stay. We stayed overnight the room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom again very clean spotless in fact could not fault any of it. My wife left her eternity ring in the bedroom which she did not realise untill we got home I immediately rang reception and explained to Jade the receptionist what had happened within a short period of time she went to the room and found it and rang me back to the to the relief of my wife. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely pub as always! Service was great! And the food amazing! The homemade scotch egg was beautiful.
The children's meals were fab sizes much more than I imagined my 1 year old would eat but he did and nearly all of it as well! I love the fact the children's menu is a smaller version of the adult food!

What a find. Staying here as off to a meeting the following day and been pleasantly surprised. Friendly, attentive staff, ultra clean and new accommodation and well priced. Can't fault it!

Stayed here while working near Alfreton. Lovely rural setting with great views. The restaurant at the hotel is really nice, great wine and food selection, however only 1 vegetarian option, bonus my colleague loved it. Brand new place, very stylish. Pork belly was amazing.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and what a find! Beautiful location, beautiful building, fantastic high tech room, wonderful staff and good food. We have both worked here lots of times and been guests at weddings and it's easily one of the best wedding venues around. The staff are all really nice and helpful, the food is amazing, it's always clean and spotless. Highly recommend.

Went as a wedding guest, beautiful venue and grounds. Stayed overnight, room was lovely, very big, solid wood furniture. Only downside was an emergency exit light over the door that gave off an eerie green glow all night, which was quite disturbing when trying to sleep! Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice too.

Very comfortable and welcoming. Room very clean and modern but with a lot of character. Fab breakfast but tea was tepid. Overall marvellous location and good value for money. Stayed as part of the wedding party and facilities were 1st class. Would stay again.

Beautiful countryside setting, with a modern bar/restaurant. Staff very friendly. We had 3 course dinner at 6pm, it was quiet when we arrived, but started to get very busy after 7pm. A small but diverse menu, but a bit disappointed there was only one vegetarian main. Food was well presented and nice. The desserts were a bit overpriced though.

Beautiful building set in an idyllic part of the country. So much to see, do and visit throughout the day with excellent facilities, food and hospitality back at the White Hart Inn. Rooms were impeccably clean with a modern bathroom and large shower area, wall mounted TV and oak furniture placed throughout. Highly recommended, I know we'll be returning again soon.

Received a two night stay voucher from family for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Rooms and facilities where spacious and clean. The staff where friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a stay. Food on both mornings was simply delicious as where the evening meals. We webt for 2 course for £15 which was excellent value for how big the portions where and how great the food tasted. Will definitely be visiting again.

Five of us came for Sunday lunch as a belated family meal for a 60th birthday. The food was excellent n staff very pleasant and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We had 3 course lunch n every course was beautifully presented, food was hot n cooked to perfection. The meat on the Sunday roast was tender, Yorkshire puds crisp outside n soft inside (just as they should be) and veg etc cooked better than in a top restaurant. The portion sizes were plentiful without being too much, so no waste from all of our meals. Prices extremely reasonable for quality, choice and standard of service. The amenities and tables, etc were very clean. Plenty of room to sit at the tables so not squashed together. Drinks prices were also very reasonable. This was our first first visit and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thank u to everyone for providing an enjoyable and very tasty lunch.

Went for 2 courses for £14. I had whitebait with tartare sauce to start, it was OK, but nothing special. I went for steak and ale pie with homemade chips for the main. The pie was good, although the party was a bit cardboard like. The chips were lovely though. I would definitely eat there again but would try something else next time. The service was brilliant and the place itself is very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend it.

We had our wedding booked at The White Hart Inn on Friday 8th May 2015. What an amazing day, it was perfect! Everything ran smoothly from the ceremony to the evening and that was down to the fabulous team. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed the food. We had all 10 bedrooms booked out and everyone was impressed with their room. As unfortunately our daughter was poorly the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for her and often asked how she was. I don't have a bad word to say about the place. Luke, Emily and all the staff worked so hard. A massive thank you from all of us. The Brashaws. X.
