Great food, great hosts, clean and tidy rooms, nice place and pretty central.

5 for the food, really tasty. 3 for the service as whilst it was good, it wasn't great — the young waitresses lacked that experience and interaction with families that make it that bit special. Therefore an average of 4.

I spent the night there and I will give it 5 stars for food and 2 stars for the hotel experience. The food was great and the staff very friendly. The hotel room was nicely done but the mattress was painfully uncomfortable hence the 2 stars.

An early evenings meal before attending a talk. Very quiet (not really surprising! ) Food choice reasonable and tasty.

Food was good. They looked at me strangely when I walked in. Then my food was brought to someone else’s table. The waitress seemed to be having a rather bad day. Not half a smile. Chaos again when it came to payment. Overall experience rather to be forgotten. But otherwise good food and would probably dine there again.

Waiting on staff looked miserable, pizza burnt and barely edible. Manager did deducted the cost though. A 20th anniversary meal to forget.

The place was very busy on a Saturday evening. Food was fine but the service wasn't very good.

Had a meal here and it was fantastic. Great choice on the menu. We booked fairly early which is worth doing as when we arrived they were taking bookings and were nearly booked up. I had a chicken dish off the menu and was told it would take a little bit longer to cook as the chicken is cooked fesh. We didn't wait too long and it was most definitely fresh and worth it. Would definitely recommend ☺ staff and management were also great. Very polite and well run.
