Orchard Hideaways Campground

Fantastic place. Everywhere immaculate, beds very comfortable and staff very helpful. I have already booked again. Would recommend hiring The Chill Out Area.

First time us staying here! we had Pod Number 5!
Really friendly helpful staff, lovely quiet site, clean showers and toilets (better than campsites), pets are aloud, lots of extras to add on if wanted. Booking is really easy and fast Would definitely recommend and will be coming back here very soon! you won’t be disappointed! a hidden gem in the Lakes Thanks Orchard Hideaways.

We Stayed here over the bank holiday week end and found the place very well maintained with friendly staff and great surroundings. They have great little place here and it’s well worth a visit.
The only negative thing really for us was the mattress’s were very uncomfortable and we didn’t get much sleep on the first night, the second night we slept a little better but I think that was due to being so tired 🤷‍♂️

Our 2nd visit here, it's an amazing little gem. Dogs are welcome, we had an enclosed pod and they loved it. They were on neighbourhood watch. So good for a base when visiting the lakes. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby. The place is spotless and staff are friendly and helpful. I'm already looking forward to going back. Xx.

What an amazing find! Lovely set up. We stayed in a dog pod at the top of the site. Great to let our little dog roam around, knowing he couldn't get out. Clean toilets and showers and all heated. Very close to the lakes, i. E Ullswater and Keswick. We will be visiting again!

Just returned from here. Lovely and clean. I think every cabin should have a fridge as there’s enough room. I think a small TV wouldn’t go amiss either! Showers could do with proper showers not the ones you push in for water as you find they’re constantly going off. Overall had a brilliant time. Would return :) good for the price 2 nights for 96! Ideal location!

We stayed for two days and it was great. Immaculately clean facilities great layout of the huts and shower block. Thank you so much for a lovely stay we will definitely return x.

Lovely, cosy and very clean. Would definitely recommend Orchard Hideaways for a little getaway. We actually turned the heating off it was so warm even at this time of year (February) and it snowed during the night.

Nice warm little pod, immaculately clean in pod, toilets and shower. Nice peaceful stay. Booked 2 more nights for the summer, can’t wait. Highly recommend.

What a fab little place. We will definitely be staying here again. Spotlessly clean, extremely warm and cosy, plus quiet with lovely views. We also took our french bulldog and she loved it! Thank you!

After our first night I am very happy, pods are warm and well appointed. The whole site is lovely, clean and very well maintained. There is ample space between pods so you have your privacy yet aren't miles away from others if you are with friends. Bbq's built all around if you wish to and beautiful view over the fields.
I really recommend here.

Myself and my family (+dog) really enjoyed our stay, although only for one night we will definitely be back for longer next time.

Only here for 1 night, as a break on a long drive to the Highlands. It is a lovely site and the pod we are staying in is lovely and clean and comfortable. A great place all round.

The whole place was so clean. We had a nice garden for our dog so he was able to come in and out. Good facilities for a pod.

A brilliant place! Kids loved it. Our car unhelpfully broke down and the staff were really understanding. We will definitely be back (hopefully we won’t break down next time! )

Very clean and warm pod. Everything you need, but quite small. Well maintained site. In a very good position. Have only given 4 stars as there was a strong smell of sewage.

Cool little pods. Clean and tidy nice and warm. Brilliant for picnic bbq have your own table and bbq.

Had just the most amazing overnight stay, accommodation was spotless as were the shower blocks would defiantly recommend Orchard hideaways and will definitely be returningagain soon.

Brilliant little pod for the weekend. Yeah it is next to a road and a railway track but you could only hear them if you was listening out for them.

Wow, what a lovely place to stay. The pod we stayed in was fab, there were 3 adults and a child. With a set of bunkbeds and two single beds which had storage under. We had a fridge, kettle, microwave and a few dining nessesities. The staff were lovely and made a point to come and introduce themselves and all acknowledged you as you passed. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Shower & toilet block clean & tidy. Pod no. 1 fine for 2 people. Great setting, but, it backs onto an A road and you can hear the trains.

Loved it amazing couple of days away! Great location lovely staff! Highly recommend! We didn’t want to leave! Pods so lovely and immaculate so were all showed and toilet facilities can’t honestly fault it.

We stayed at Orchard Hideaways last week, its was such a lovely site, so clean and loads of space. The pods were perfectly placed and so warm and cosy, no duvets needed when we stayed. Toilets and showers are immaculately clean and new, plenty of loo roll and hot water too.
There were picnic benches to sit out for each pod, and a bbq area too for each pod, the site is perfectly located for the Lakes, Ullswater just a short drive from the site, lots of lovely pubs there. If you don't want to cook breakfast there is a Little Chef two mins walk away from the site — cooked breakfast from £6.50 per person.
Pods had a kettle, some welcome tea & coffee and milk sachets just for a brew, and all the cutlery and plates etc you need for breakfast and bbq dinner, there was also a microwave too!
We will definitely book again — just the perfect site to get away from it all.
