Very nice room, service is good :)

Friendly welcome and good breakfast. Room OK if just a bit tired in places but very clean and everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay.

Convenient location: close to the pubs and eateries of Clifton Village. Nearby bus stop for direct access to city centre. A very pleasant twenty minute walk to Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Well located in a cosy and type area at the foot of the bus to the city center of Bristol, staff very attentive to the guests. Good value for money.

Lovely small hotel with a family-like feeling. Kind of like staying with a friend :)

The hotel is split between two large Victorian villas. The fact that these were not designed as hotels means that bathrooms have been squeezed in. Ours was quite small, but clean and with everything you'd want in a bathroom. The staff were helpful and everything is well looked after. Also a really good location a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Clifton village.

V reasonable. Great views and standard breakfast included.

Very clean and comfortable. Decent size Room, even with a travel cot set up for my soon.

Location was good as close to the venue we were attending the evening. Room quite basic and small but we were only there for night so had everything we needed. Also used the room service for wine and food and prices and times were fair. Staff also very friendly.

Waiters were lovely. Room was a nice size. WOULDN'T stay again after receptionist lady was very rude towards myself and partner.

Beds comfortable. Good bath. Kettle in room with coffee sachets, choice of tea bags and couple of hot chocolate sachets. Liquid soap dispensers on wall by sink and over bath. Convenient walking to observatory and zoo.

It is in a posh area, nice room lovely breakfast staff were attentive. Room did have lots of hair dotted around I assume from a previous guest but apart from that all good.

Great Hotel, very helpful and friendly staff And in a good position in Clifton for buses. Small car park at rear charged at £5 per night.

Great location, good parking options (for Bristol), and decent rooms. Wi-Fi a little patchy and breakfast slightly disappointing.

Stayed overnight, very nice hotel. I didn't eat in the restaurant as I went out into Clifton village for food and drinks. Unfortunately I was up early so can't comment on breakfast either. The room was very nice and clean if a little smaller than maybe some other hotels however it still had a double bed and wardrobe and a decent sized en suite. Have stayed here before and will no doubt stay again.

Hotel is in a wonderful location. The rooms are bright and clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great place to take the kids for a runaround, plenty of spaces, gorgeous old trees and all surrounded by Clifton architecture. Watch out for dogs and remember that it's surrounded by roads. We're still in Bristol don't forget!

The natural light in our room was heavenly. Comfy beds. Staff were excellent. They lent me an umbrella which I later lost. I will be back with a new umbrella someday.

We were visiting the University Open Day with my son and needed to stay overnight in Bristol. It seemed that the family room we had booked had recently been refurbished. The bed were extremely comfortable with freshly laundered, highly pressed sparkling white sheets. The bathroom was finished to a fabulous high standard with marble flooring and contemporary washstand with large, well-lit mirror. Fabulous new shower cubicle and powerful shower. The room was really warm and cosy, overlooking a cemetery — which meant it was very quiet! Everything in the room really clean (my son has OCD and even he was impressed! ) The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and as for the breakfast… WELL! Buffet breakfast — as much as you could eat (I couldn't, I was on a LighterLife diet sadly — but staff very helpful with preparing my sachet of porridge! ) and all piping hot and fresh and yummy. Husband and son approved heartily. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again when the boy attends Uni here — if he gets the grades. This hotel certainly gets the grades in our opinion. Well done!
