Our favorite resort hotel. The pool is so big and lovely. Great staff. Some of them have worked here for decades.

A complete resort, food excellent, pool excellent, beach excellent, hotel staff excellent!

My husband and I stayed at Kauai Marriott Resort for our honeymoon and our experience was nothing short than amazing. The staff was beyond friendly, accommodating and helpful. We arrived super early and they offered us a place to change and store our stuff until the room was available. They also helped guide us through the resort map and answered any questions we had. They also upgraded our room from garden view to pool view which was very nice! The options to go to the beach, relax by the pool or have a bite to eat at Duke’s nearby was simply just perfect. I would recommend any one to stay here as the staff was great, food was great, and the hotel rooms were perfect.

3/5 stars for me and my husband. Good — resort is very beautiful. Pool and private beach are fantastic. Breakfast was great, and the staff at breakfast were so friendly and accommodating. Concierge staff was also wonderful. Really helped us quickly book sailing tour and helicopter tour. Art gallery was beautiful! Bad — Front desk staff were rude and condescending. We paid extra for ocean view room, however it looked out to the top of AC units and towards other side of the hotel. We asked front desk about this, and they told us to come back twice. Ended up not even going back because they treated us like we were such a bother (we just wanted what we paid for.

This resort is wonderful. Everyone is friendly including guests. Food and service is great. Weather is pleasant and mild. Perfect time of the year to come. Wonderful view also.

The Kauai Marriott is a beautiful property. The rooms, pool, beach and grounds are meticulously maintained. The staff is friendly. However, I didn’t like paying the daily resort fee and the food was terrible (at least for me). I have been to this property 5 times and I will very likely return. Wished they worked on food offerings. KuiKui was the worst. Dukes was marginally better.

Great hotel with beautiful property and helpful staff. Gorgeous pool and beach access, walking distance to shops and food. Would definitely recommend this property. Parking is limited especially if you’re assigned Ha’ Upu tower where they allow beach parking. Had to park near entrance which is about 1/2 of a mile walk.

Lots to see and do here at the Kaua’i Marriott Resort! Beach is just steps from the pool, the rooms are clean and well-stocked, the staff are super friendly & quick with a smiley, “Aloha! ” My sister and I were treated to a vacation with our Mom — a fantastic surprise. We’re spending 8 night and 9 days Lihue, with the resort as our jumping off point for exploring the island. The restaurants are many, with lots of choices for all appetites and wallets. The pool and surrounding landscape is gorgeous. Would recommend to any visitors, from vacationing partners to families with small kids to retirees. Lots to see and do! — с Tiffany L. Blackburn.

I love this resort. The location is perfect and I think it offers the best views of Kauai, or of any island. I will never tire of the view while having my morning coffee, or from the room. Everyone who works there was warm and inviting. My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this time there. Thanks for making our stay so great. We’ll be back again.

How can you go wrong? With an amazing resort, right next to amazing restaurants, and an amazing beach right at your backdoor. This is really first class, and it's in a great spot in the middle of the East side of the island. You will not want to leave here.

Kauaii Marriott couldn't have been nicer for us. We were a party of 4 and one in the party was almost 80 and used a scooter. From the shuttle to the front door, check in, room, and hotel grounds to check out the people at the Marriott were beyond lovely to her and us. During our stay, we rented a car and toured the island. I looked at other resorts and rentals for the next time I come back, thinking maybe I would like to stay somewhere else? No, I will come back to the protected harbor, beautiful sand beach and resort of the Marriott! The daily excursions were fun and easy because of the Marriott's central location, but soon you realized, the Marriott was the perfect home base. The Marriott is nestled in a protected harbor, so we enjoyed gentle winds and surfs instead of mind blowing winds and crashing surfs day in and day out. One side of the beach is surfable and the other has waves rolling up on the sands. It's big enough to be private with an intimate feel. I never felt, watched, policed or pressured at anytime. Parking was close, the roads around the resort were the most beautiful anywhere. You knew you were somewhere special. Everything was right there for you. Pool, soft grass lawns with lounges, walks to shopping centers, gear rental, rental car and the beach. Beautiful. Highly reccomend. I am a Marriott fan anyways… Always a treat!

This was our 3rd year to stay here… We love the pool & breakfast buffet! The staff has always been lovely! We recommend reserving the cabana chairs for the day it’s well worth it but not necessary to have a great day.

We spent almost a week at another resort, but when we pulled into the Marriott here, my mind was blown. I had never been to Kauai, so this was truly an experience to remember and the entire resort was impressive. I mostly came to experience the surfing towns up on the north shore, but "coming home, " to the Marriott was always fun. The food was excellent, the staff super friendly and full of aloha spirit, and everybody I met was in a good mood. Although the water wasn't as clear as other beaches, the quiant beach there is super easy to melt into and the surf in December was good enough, and the water warm. I have no complaints. If you have kids, make sure not to miss the 9 a. M. Koi feeding. Oh, and the gym here is also well appointed. My legs and arms are still sore. Thanks for the complimentary sweet apples, too! Aloha!

We loved everything about staying at the Kauai Marriott. The grounds are beautiful and the views are heavenly. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and swimming at the beach which is just a few steps from the pool. We slept comfortably in our room and had a nice view of the pool and ocean from our balcony. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as Kukui’s restaurant and bar on the property. The staff at Kukui’s are very courteous and welcoming. The girls serving the pool area are sweet too and they certainly put lot of miles on their feet.
If you are looking for a place to stay… stop looking! Stay at the Kauai Marriott.
