Beautiful resort! The rooms are incredible and this particular one had a very comfy balcony seating with a great view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool is nice as well. It would be nice if it were closer to the ocean, but I guess I’d have to be willing to pay to be closer, so this suits me just fine.

2 bedroom suites are open air concept. Only one sofa bed. Older style sofa bed with springs so it's not very comfortable. Collapsible sliding door is easy to work and really helps to extend the living room into the balcony. Staff were super helpful and friendly. No restaurants on site.

It is beautiful and clean. A very peaceful place to be. It has great views even if you have an Island view, you can view the ocean as well! It is one of the few places that has three bedrooms for larger families. In fact, the last time I was there, I was using a credit card and it fell between the cushions in the lobby. After leaving, one of the staff found it and personally sent it to me through the mail! That is very generous service!

Amazing rooms, staff is super friendly, great pool! The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the beach is not close at all and it isn't easy to get to the Marriott for food, etc. You need to call the shuttle and it only runs every :15 and :45. If you rent a car and don't care about being walking distance to the beach, then this is a 5 star resort.

What a beautiful serene location for a relaxing getaway. A tranquil breeze coming off the Pacific Ocean no traffic noise it's like you are the only one there. The check in store has all the necessities along with your favorite spirits for a relaxing intimate evening with that special someone! Just saing!

Location, location, location. The picture below is the view from the property. The gym was really clean and had good commercial equipment. The pool is central to all rooms and has waterside. The resort has great planned activities for the whole family to enjoy. I highly recommend this place.

It is nice that the corporation is keeping up the location with lovely upgrades. It was a former hotel and they rearranged walls to make a one bedroom with studio lockout. Although the kitchen in the main bedroom is not a full service one, it is functional for microwaving and reheating those restaurant leftovers. The beach is lovely and although it is public, the resort takes care of it and you don't feel crowded. The resort swimming pool and hot tubs are beautiful and well managed. It is nice that they have a Laundry but be sure to take plenty of quarters! 5 to wash and 4 to dry. The location to local restaurants makes it so you don't have to hop in your car every time you want to eat. The walk to Island Tacos, coffee shop, sports bar, ice cream/shaved ice or Mexican food is a piece of cake and helps you to burn calories. If you want upscale, that is close too. As far as the sights, the resort is nicely located to driving both directions around the island. So many lovely sights to see! With so much to do, it's hard to remember to take a chill day and sit by the pool or the beach and enjoy the island time.

The Lagoons is a beautiful place, I remember when they didn't have a Lagoon. It was the good old Kauai Surf, then the West in & now the Marriott. I grew up at Kauai Surf so its my favorite place with many special memories. But like they say Nothing is constant bb it change & everything increases never decrease especially life. To live more abundantly says the Lord according to his riches for his glory not ours.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The units were all built as 2-3 bedroom condos, so you get privacy and plenty of room. Each unit has a full kitchen plus washer and dryer. There are no restaurants, but there are places nearby. The property is in a secluded area which keeps things quiet at night. It is near the airport so you will hear helicopters throughout the day. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We loved our stay!

Great place for families. Activity center with lots of free fun activities planned by a great 3 person team. Units are new and very clean. Gorgeous views of the ocean. Not on the beach but very close to it. Free shuttles run between here ans the Marriott in Lihue (also just a 15 minute slow walk between the two hotels) which does have its own beach front. This resort has beach umbrellas/chairs/umbrella strollers that they lend out for free based on availability. You can ask for them at the front desk. Pool/hot tub is great. Has small slide that is fun for kids.

Couldn't be happier with this location. Absolutely amazing 2 room apartment. Pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, stove, oven, washing machine, dryer, and much more. The location is quiet peaceful and located near the Port and downtown Lihue.

Marriott Kaua’i Lagoons is a nice property overlooking the golf course, the cliffs and ocean. The airport is very close so you can see the planes coming in to land regularly, but you don’t hear the noise. There is no beach access near the property. There are chickens and roosters everywhere! Enjoyed ourselves overall.

We had a two bedroom unit and it was huge. The common area had a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Bathrooms were large and beds were comfy. Mattress was little soft for our liking but good enough. Our unit had a full washer and dryer which was nice. Location was good although the helicopters start flying over at 730am and go pretty much all day. It isn't annoying really but just be aware the airport is literally adjacent to the golf course that runs through the property. To get to the main Marriott resort is a quick drive. There is a shuttle but it was not very timely so I would recommend driving over since you will likely have a car. Plus having the option to haul beach toys or run back to the unit as needed. The pool at lagoons is smaller but good for kids with shallow areas (no areas deeper than 4') and a small waterslide. Activity center and gym were nice and the staff is super friendly.

Older property, no beach access, no food on property besides small marketplace. Small pool at best. Not meant for children at all. No access to the Marriott resort next door and it’s pool and beach chairs. None of this was stated prior to arrival. The Marriott next door has vacation club rentals and is extremely nice with wonderful staff, beautiful beaches and many food options.

We have stayed at the Marriott Beach Club. We really enjoy the pool and the beach area then we came across this place and decided to give it a try. It is a little bit out of the way but the views are fantastic. It is very quiet and quaint and they offer a free shuttle to the beaches, the activity center is amazing. Most activities are complimentary. They have a great fitness center as well. When we checked in Azure was very friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful walk around the property, we saw a nene bird. There is a nice walk to a lighthouse. The pool is a little bit small though it does have a slide, and a hot tub. The daily tidy service is wonderful. When you visit a timeshare property this is how it should be, where you don't have to pay for your activities where the tidy service comes in and does the dishes and make your bed and fills replaces the laundry detergent. The staff are very nice and friendly. If you are choosing the place to stay I do recommend this place.

Beautifully appointed apartments. Fully serviced. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Peaceful, serene views are fantastic.

Beautiful property and landscaping. Great villas for families with BBQs and pools. I think it's great and I don't even care for golf.

A little bit dated. Huge rooms… two bedroom two bath. Small but adequate pool. No restaurant or bar, but a full kitchen.

So far it's been awesome. Peaceful, even with thunderstorms. Looking forward to the week!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… Currently staying here. This is a glorious place with lovely, spacious units and breathtaking grounds. The pool is double-leveled with a waterfall and a small slide connecting them. There is also a large hot tub. The one downside is that there are no eateries (also no shopping unless you count a tiny general store for toothpaste and such), but a complimentary shuttle leaves every half hour to the nearby Beach Club, which has plenty of both. Lagoons guests can charge to their rooms at the Beach Club restaurants. I'm not sure if you can get to the beach in front of Lagoons or not, as I haven't tried. But the shuttle comes in useful there too. It's less than a five minute drive and can be walked easily if you would prefer that.

Excellent ocean and golf hole view. In building A, It's quieter away from the pool and nearer to the fitness and activities centers. All that is needed is poolside food and drink source.

Overall amazing. Food. Service. Pools. Ocean lagoon. I'll be back. Very Kind people. Kids love koi fish and cucatoo. Rooms spacy. Fast Internet. Good food. Good drinks. Breakfast well worth it.

This surpassed anything I expected. There were 4 of us traveling and the two master bedroom suit was perfect for us. Ample room for what we needed. It's a lot more quiet and private than the resort, beautiful views, amazing rooms and lanai, and no screaming kids or loud restaurants and bars. If you are planning to relax and get out of the hustle and bustle this is the perfect place. But, if you want to enjoy the resort its a quick shuttle ride. The shuttle runs every half hour OR you can tell the front desk to call it for you. I'm so glad we stayed here and not the resort. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice place, but in a desperate need of some upgrades. Cracked tiles, moldy (smelly) AC and funky spotty paint in rooms. Don't expect much and you will love it.

Nice rooms. Small pool. No bar, no restaurant, no room service. On bluffs with no beach access. Shuttle to/from next door Marriott stops before 6pm, and its a solid 20+ min walk otherwise.

This property is stunning! Only visited for honeymoon beach cabana massages, but we spent hours tripping around the property. We have close friends who stay here often and I can't say I blame em lol.

Having fabulous time here.

Get a unit in building A for a view you will never forget. Staff is excellent. Will come back as often as I can.
