This hotel has bed bugs. Stay at your own risk. Took three bugs to the front desk in a Ziploc bag. Tried to work with the manager for a refund. Total disregard for ensuring that they take care of their facility and guest. Called Super 8 customer service and they will not stand behind their brand to ensure that they have clean bug free facilities that represent their name.

Super close to the highway which was really nice! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and nice. And the beds are SO comfy!

Clean. I slept. I had some yogurt for breakfast. No problems.

Rooms are not large, but adequate. Mini fridge was frozen over when I checked in (hello cleaning crew! Let someone know! ) Workout center (elliptical, treadmill, bike, and stair climber, no weights) is NASTY. Tons of dust on the equipment, you can see the dried up sweat drops from other patrons all over the equipment. Room being used as a storage area as well. No hand sanitizer or wipes, had to ask for a hand towel. Room is adequate, I've stayed in worse. Bedding seems clean, but worn. Half the vending machines are out of order. Please, no one invite the roaches… Parking lot was designed around a Volkswagon … a small one.

Recently updated (a couple years? ). A good price, $70, was clean. Parking is hard as it is located on the side of a hill. Breakfast is a carboholics dream.

Good location for food and reaching downtown wheeling, rooms were clean and comfortable, service was good as well. Only issue was the stand lamp in my room didn't work, that's not a big deal though. All in all it was a good stay.

They are putting new carpet and things down. So everything was supper clean. Nice laundry room, nice little work out room.

We travel all over for work. As soon as I walked in to our room it was fresh smelling not like a motel. Everything was very clean. I normally I have to clean something but not here. Everything was clean from the bathroom. Frig, microwave. I give this place 10 star's. Bed was comfy, quit, clean. And the best part was the price. They offered great rates with super clean rooms. I highly recommend this super 8. It was a great experience. And I want to say thank you too the maid's for doing an exceptional job giving us nice clean rooms. That's very important to me since I spend most of the time in my room while my husband works.

Affordable rates… Easy freeway access. The carpets in the hallways are being replaced and the carpets in the rooms appear to have been replaced recently.

Clean, comfortable and cozy. You get some highway noise but it's not too bad. It was a nice evening.

I stayed at this nice Super 8 for a week and was very pleased with the accommodations and the friendliness of the staff. Great location on National Road. Victoria was there when I arrived each day after long days always greeting me with a Hello and Smile. This was my third week long stay and I will be staying there again.

The rooms were average. Beds were nice but housekeeping wasn't very good during my week long stay. The staff was mostly pleasant to deal with, however one lady was especially rude. The hotel is currently under construction and that does create a small inconvenience.

Fast and Friendly staff, especially Victoria at front desk. Fast check-in. Clean, updated rooms with fair prices. Breakfast had just what I needed. I would definitely stay again.

My husband stayed here while attending a recent tournament in town. I must say my first call the morning of his arrival was with Linda seemed very bothered to take the call but still stated she would note account. Upon my husbands departure he alerted the staff that his shower did not work. No adjustment to bill was offered or compenstation since he was not able to take a shower with a trickle of water and this morning a nice little rash shows up on his back hmmm. Never staying here again.

Room stinks, front desk says have no more rooms. Want to leave, to late in the night to go some where else. Sleeping in car sounds better.

The room was nice and updated and had a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and television in it. It was nicely decorated with artwork on the wall above the beds. The nightly rate was reasonable and a continental breakfast was provided. There was also a weight room for guests. The one complaint I have is that on the top floor where I stayed, half of the upstairs was closed off by clear plastic and there was a slight mildew smell lingering. I'm not sure what was going on in the closed off section and the Tennant at the desk did not mention it to us when we got the room. Other than that the hotel was pretty normal and what you would expect from any major chain.

Parking lot hard to get into. Room was clean. Not enough pillows on the bed. Tiolet ran, sink drain slow. Cable only good if your a kid or sports nut. No good movie channels.

Oh heaven have mercy on this place. First I will say this time was far better than the last time we stayed. And we went there again because it's cheap. Let's face it. Good things, it was clean and the heater worked. Bonus. But when we reserved the guy made a big deal about extra pillows and there weren't any. I was bummed but boo hoo, right? Then housekeeping starts running the vacuum at 8 am. Rude. My only actual concern was that the smoke alarm appeared to be hanging by a wire dangling from the ceiling. Otherwise, I will go again for the price but not excited to.

Very hard to get a uhaul into the parking lot and turn it around. Service was perfect, room was well kept and tidy upon arrival. Breakfast wasn't bad, and had no loud or noisy neighbors.

This isn't the first time I've stayed at the Super 8 in Wheeling West Virginia. Problem this time was the front desk attendant place the bag of popcorn in the microwave in the fire alarm went off at 11 p. M. That's okay except for the fact she was not allowed to shut the alarm off in the ear piercing sound of the alarm woke everybody up and we had to go outside and wait on the fire department to arrive. All the room smelled like burnt popcorn from that point on. Although, I understand their policy, but why in the world would she not be allowed to turn off the alarm to stop any other further inconvenience of their guests when she knew the nature of the problem to start with? It was not a good night.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice staff and location is within 15 minutes to all attractions.

We happen upon a game night, lots of noise. Big problem with the interenet, we got in and I was trying remap our location and was unable. The one gal up from Vanessa did her best to accommodate.

The room was good but they charge your card to see if you have money then charge you again when you get there and then keep your money 3 to 10 days…

During the initial checking they seemed very nice and friendly. They asked for a card for incidentals which I didn't have any issue doing; but I expressly asked if there was going to be any charges on the card. They assured me that they would not charge my card for anything other then if someone smoked in the room. They then charged my card for an additional $130 the day after I checked out, without contacting me at all or even asking my consent. I called the hotel and asked for the manager; I was assured that the manager had just stepped out and would be calling me back sometime that day. They never called back, I had to call back and ask for the manager again. Once I got the manager on the phone and inquired about the charges he started to berate me about how I was talking to him and advised me that I should "learn how to talk to people better. " I suggest that you avoid this hotel, there are a lot of options in the area go seek them out.

We have drove 22 hours they didn't charge us to check in early they were friendly and courteous rooms were clean housekeeping was very courteous the breakfast was good if I'm ever back through there will most definitely stay there the only downside was the beds were a little too firm for me but everything else was wonderful.

Very cozzy rooms. Beautiful Scenery and convenient stores and three different places fast food restaurants to choose from for your family members taste buds. Enjoying Our Stay Here.

Room was great, just needed a place to crash after a long drive! Hated to spend so much money on a place that was only letting us stay until 11 am after just arriving at 3 am!

I'll start with the good… the place was clean. What was wrong? Most of the vending machines are out of order.
Laundry room is out of order.
Electric outlet in my bathroom was broken.
Hair dryer was falling off the wall (but couldn't be plugged in anyway because of the broken outlet)
Our bathroom fan couldn't be turned off because the switch was broken.
Our air conditioner needed me to spend about 10 minutes plugging and un plugging it before it would start working. Something weird with the floors for the room above us. Someone kept moving around constantly all night (kept it up until 1am and started again at 7am). But it wasn't just footsteps. We could hear the floor joists flexing and creaking the entire time. It was like an elephant was dancing around up there. Also a word to the wise… this place is dog friendly. As a dog owner, I'm ok with that… the problem is when you get a jerk of a pet owner that won't shut their dog up when it barks every time someone walks by their room. I highly recommend to management that they not rent the rooms right by the elevator to dog owners in case you get a jerk like the one next to us. If I come through wheeling again, I'll likely seek other accommodations.

Shoddy upkeep, horrible coffee in room, looks nice at first however, the entire 3rd floor smells like nicotine.

Decent hotel. Close proximity to New Vrindaban.

Did the job. Nothing over the top. Mostly clean. Parking is very limited, with lot hard too maneuver.

Here for work, not much from the outside. Rooms are pretty nice. Seen recently remodeled.

Arrived late at night and the room they gave us was already occupied. They apologized and gave us another room. Asked that they check that room first and, sure enough, it was also occupied already! Finally, the third room they gave us was actually empty. If you stay here, be sure to lock your doors. The room was clean and well maintained, at least. My only complaint there would be that the air conditioner would not stay on and cool the room properly; the constant switching off and on all night made sleep difficult. The internet was surprisingly fast for the location and the Wi-Fi was easy to access. Breakfast had only a few options: cereal, milk, toast, waffles, fruit, and yogurt. For the price, this is reasonable — just something to keep in mind.

Just a nice motel. Nothing great but nothing bad.

The best stay for the money. Very clean facilities, and friendly and accommodating staff!

My only complaint is the elevator feels like it's falling apart. I glanced at the inspection certificate and it had expired well over a year ago. Otherwise it's not the 1st time we've stayed there and I would still return.

FULLY Renovated; new carpets, new comforters, amazing staff, non-smoking facilty, best Super 8 I have ever stayed in, would stay here again for future visits. 5 Stars.

Extremely unethical and grossly immoral business practices. Offered a refund initially for a cancelled booking and then renigged. The staff appear to be on drugs. Staff was extremely rude on the phone and hung up on me several times, because she didn't like to answer any of their policy questions. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

The room was clean, and the night staff was very helpful. The breakfast could have been better. The only protein provided was yogurt and peanut butter for toast.

Not sure what housekeeping does but it isn't cleaning. There are cigarette butts and rubbing tobacco remnants all around the outside of the door. Things are not fixed correctly. There is even an outlet hanging out of the wall. The TV and anything else even semi valuable is right at child level. The hotel says it's pet friendly but pets aren't allowed on the beds. There's no grass outside and it's off of a very busy road. One of the two beds in our room has bedbugs. One of the lamps doesn't work. Things are awkwardly placed in the room and bathroom. Floors are very dirty. I think the car or even a cardboard box would be a better option. After staying here not only will I never stay in this hotel again but I will never stay in another hotel within the same chain.

I had stayed here 8 months prior and everything seems about the same. Clean rooms and plenty of parking since the fracking has subsided thanks to low gas prices (lots of workers for the local fracking business stay at all the local hotels). But this time I got in at 4am and put the "Do Not Disturb" hanger on the door but was awoken at 9am by housekeeping trying to get in my room. WTF?! I told the front office staff what had happened and that I didn't feel safe leaving my valuables in the room since they tried to come in when I had made it clear not to. Pricing for hotels in the area are way too high. It was high at one point due to all the oil workers, but with lower gas prices that is subsiding and the local hotels are in decreasing need. There is no reason for the hotels in this area to charge as much as much as they are right now. Looks like the bubble popped here and they are in denial.

They said eggs for breakfast everyday but I been here 3 days and still only fruit and waffles.

It's clean and quiet. A perfect room when traveling. Stay here again.

If all you're trying to book the cheapest place in town this is it… WARNING you get what you pay for! $50-$75 cheaper than anywhere else. NO PARKING for anything larger than a Camery. Breakfast — — — not edible My Room STUNK! management wouldn't give me another room or at least give a discount. One fast food restaurant across the 4 lane street from hotel.
