The room was huge and clean and staff was very helpful and friendly.

When our reservation didn't work put at the Wilson Lodge, we called Springhill and were able to get into 2 beautiful big rooms at a reasonable rate with no notice! These rooms have it all! two sinks, microwave, 2 beds plus a sifa bed, coffee maker, fridge. Free breakfast too. Clean and courteous staff. The onky bad thing was that their wi fi was done. They tried to fix it and apologized for it. Very pleased overall. Thank you.

Pool area was terrible… bathrooms by pool puck every where… had to pay to park. How else do u goto a hotel if you dont drive.

Very spacious clean room. Lots of pillows. Nice bathroom set up. Good breakfast, lots of choices. Would definitely stay again. This was our second time staying at this hotel.

Everything is just fine except the internet connection they provide… Super slow! You won't believe how slow it is. Other than this, there was nothing to complain about. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful. I'll attach a pic to show the absurd internet speed.

I really enjoyed my stay. The only problem I had was the bed was terrible. The room looked nice, was big enough for just me. But the bed was not comfortable. No bedbug bag on it either. The A/C was not fully functional as well. I set it for 68 when I checked in at 4pm. By 6am, it barely made 71.

Pleasantly surprised by this comfortable hotel. Large room, comfortable bed, functional kitchenette, and very functional shower at a reasonable price. Good value.

Very nice springhill suites. This is a nice hotel. The place is clean, there is plenty of free parking. The room I had was excellent, it had a nice little wet bar with refridgerator and microwave. It also had a sitting room, some closets and a nice size bathroom. Plenty of storage space such as closets, for your stuff. Breakfast is included which is nice, and Wi-Fi is free as well. My only complaint is that there was no in room safe. Overall, very nice hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend.

Not a bad hotel for the area! Not to far from downtown and seems updated. The Wi-Fi is free and go login required which is odd for a Marriott. I happily would stay again.

Room was oddly set up. Otherwise had nice accommodations with nice beds and plenty of built in USB charging ports. Only regret, the pool and hot tub area was closed, they did not relay this fact when booking.

I always stay here and love it. Conveniently close to wheeling and moundsville, always really clean, nice breakfast, newly remodled, very friendly staff. Decent view of the valley and river.

Honestly the facility is nice and the staff is nice but the fire alarm went off at 3 am due to the current construction they said the wiring failed. But with our 9 month old we were first forced to go all the way across to the other side of the building due to a closed stair well and then stood outside for 20 with our little girl in the cold while the fire department didn't come to turn it off and even though they said it was a false alarm we couldn't go back in due to how loud it was I was worried about damaging our daughters ears. Needless to say that ruined our stay and it was made worse seeing how long it took for the fire department to arrive, not really reassuring to know if there's a real emergency that it'd be a sad day with only one open fire staircase and a slow response from the local Dept.

The remodeled rooms were great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and lots of variety. My only issue is that we chose that hotel for the pool and weren't notified that it was going to be closed that weekend. There were other hotels with a pool that were actually cheaper in price. I had made my reservation on a Friday night to check in on Saturday and the website still wasn't updated with that info Friday night at almost midnight. They did offer the option of going to a local gym for swimming, but that kind of defeats the purpose. It was still a good stay, but 3 disappointed kids wasn't worth the money to stay.

Location convenient to I-70. Rooms are suite type with couches. Staff is helpful and friendly. Hotel is undergoing some renovations at this time.

Best hotel in wheeling hands down. Rooms were large, clean, modern and reasonably priced. I put up friends visiting from out of town that were in our wedding here and they loved it. I was impressed by the size of the rooms, like an efficiency apartment more than a hotel room. Anytime anyone visits I highly recomend this hotel. Staff was super nice and helpful as well. Very professional.

Love love love this hotel! Big spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Relaxing firepit and waterfall outside. Has a beautiful view behind it. Indoor Pool is OK. Gym n bar n laundry also. Very nice. They are very kind and friendly.

I stayed there with my basketball team. It was the perfect place to stay before heading out to West Liberty. The breakfast was decent. The rooms are nice. The hotel staff was nice. Their meeting room was kind of off is the best way to describe it it just felt not very inviting but for what we needed it for it was perfect.

We stayed here over night as we drove from the east coast to the mid west. Easy access from highway, room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was actually delicious!

Lobby is clean and beautiful. Breakfast is always wonderful. But, as a housekeeper for a apartment complex I noticed alot of things were missed. Shower wasn't wiped down dust on the vanity mirrors and lights, and large amounts of dust in the corners of the bathrooms.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we would select it again. Rooms are good size; we had a king-size bed, spacious bathroom, a sitting area with a desk and chair, and two armchairs. There was a good variety of options with the Continental breakfast and plenty of seating available. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to reach from Rt 70 and there are several restaurants close by.

Great service and fantastic breakfast! The pool has a bit too strong of a chemical smell, but clean and warm. A great stay for wheeling!

Service was excellent. We stayed Tuesday and Saturday nights. My granddaughter left a favorite stuffed animal behind Tuesday and called. It was retrieved and held for us on return visit. Breakfast was varied and good.

The breakfast options were very good and the fitness was center and pool area were well maintained. It's barely a 10 minute drive from downtown Wheeling where you can find quality restaurants. On the corner near the hotel driveway is a Sheetz gas station, which is convenient. However the hotel driveway is very long and steep (which does allow the hotel to have good views) and while we visited in the fall, I wonder how easy it is to drive up when there is snow on the ground. I stayed here with my family so we had to utilize the pull-out bed from the couch, unfortunately the bed was less than ideal, sagging in the middle, and I am pretty sure if I put too much pressure on the bottom third of the bed, it would break through.

The rooms are very rooms and the Continental breakfast is awesome. There is also free Wi-Fi and cable television. Didn't get a chance to go to the work out room or swimming pool but they were available.

I have been staying at the Hampton Inn across the street for years. This was a nice change of pace. But that hill is crazy! LOL!

The rooms are really nice, large, and clean. Breakfast was a better than the standard hotel breakfast. Shower heads are nice and large and water pressure is great.

While the staff was AMAZING, the rooms were less than desirable. Blown light bulbs, hair in the shower (a lot) tons of trash and hair on box spring below mattress. Was not impressed with the cleanliness… Or lack thereof…

Actually booked sleep inn, moundsville. Priceline sold me a room there that was not available. Booked us Spring Hill and it was so much better! Great staff, gorgeous room, and a good view in the morning (my wife).

The hotel was okay. That describes it well. The room amenities were mostly fine, but a few things stuck out: The tub and faucet was gross. There were yellowed cracks in the ceiling (? ) Our AC unit ran NONSTOP at 76° and smelled like it was filled with mildew when it did run. The lady serving breakfast was rude. The front desk staff was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. They hooked us up with an umbrella and were pleasant to interact with. They certainly deserve some kudos. Overall it worked fine, but I'd shop around.

Very nice hotel — wonderful views of Wheeling Jesuit University. The staff is amazingly professional and friendly. Would definitively stay here again!

We stopped here on a road trip across the country. After a busy day of driving, the hotel was perfect. The girls enjoyed swimming in the pool and loved the breakfast in the morning. The hotel was clean, and everything worked wonderfully. The room was bigger than anticipated and had a small work station, which worked out great to help us plan our trip for the following morning. They even had the ability to hard-wire the Internet, which is great for my older laptop that doesn't always like to pick up the wireless Internet. The wireless Internet did work perfectly on our newer devices. This was the best hotel of our four-day trip.

Clean room … excellent breakfast … newspapers available each morning. Adequate exercise room and pool. Staff very friendly.

I love this hotel! Located about 5 mins away from wheeling casino, plenty of food and local attrattions nearby. Our room was spacious and very clean. It had a mini fridge and microwave, the bed was so comfortable me and my husband almost slept the day away. Indoor pool up to 5ft and a hot tub. They have snacks for purchase 24/7. The hotel staff were the sweetest people they made our stay even better. They were so friendly and helpful! The continental breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30 and had what u would expect fresh fruit, cereals, english muffins, etc… definitely would stay here again!

The Hotel is in a great location — very close to some great spots in Wheeling, WV like Ye Old Alpha and the 19th Hole. My room was very large, comfortable, and clean. So why only 3 stars? This hotel chokes the Wi-Fi to the point it takes a full minute just to send a simple email (no attachments). Want to stream a video or DL a movie? — Forget about it… Unless you want to pay the hotel for increased bandwidth. Who does that? Bottom line, I really enjoyed my stay here. If it wasn't for the ridiculously slow Wi-Fi, I would have given this place Max Stars. Good Talk, J.

Nice area — on top of a bluff, overlooking the university. Chris at the front desk was great — very helpful. Close to our downtown destination. Would definitely stay again!

Hotel was very clean. Conference room was nice. Pool air and fitness area small but accommodating.

Reception was nice. No rides to the casino. For my tastes, the hotel was barely okay (upkeep). Screaming kids in the hall, which may have just been my bad luck. 2 queen room was a nice size considering.

The room was clean and staff was eager to help with questions. The hot breakfast was nice as well, the morning after a long evening at the casino!

The location is great. Great views of the surrounding hillsides from your own little hilltop. Also it is only a $6.75 taxi ride to the casino. We had four people in our double queen room and there was plenty of room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 3.5 out of 5. Decent but nothing special… but great value when you get it with the room rate. Great place, I will be back.

Always enjoy staying here. Front desk is very helpful and will accommodate you in any way they can. If you ever need a good suggestion for resteraurant just talk to Travis at the front desk and he won't let you down.

The most pleasant experience I've ever had. Sheila and the staff were incredible. It was quiet with an amazing view. The breakfast was excellent and I will make it a point to travel this way again just to stay here. My mother and I were extremely pleased!

The room was clean, except the black gunk around the drain in the sink. Clean was the only plus here! $4 for a bottle of water, robbery! King "Suite" is a room about the same size as any other hotel room except there is a wall that seperates the room into 2 areas where a bed is in one side and couch and desk on the other. Air conditioning sucks… the control is on the opposite side of the room, so the side of the room with the bed gets freezing before it ever turns off, then gets hot before it turns back on. Had to keep getting up to adjust. It was real easy though to see where I was going in the room, there was what looked like a high school football field right outside the room, and the bright lights were on all night (there were no darkening shades on the window). Oh and you better like an extremely firm bed, this one was like sleeping on a board! Should have spent the extra $30 to stay at the Hampton up the street! The girl at the front desk was very nice and knew the area. Very helpful, I guess they was another plus. Would NOT stay here again.

SpringHill on the surface is what you would expect; a clean, biz/suite hotel that seems updated and has a noticeably higher room rates for the area. Not a big deal, I don't mind paying up for a better stay. I wish that were the case. We checked in early in the afternoon to drop off our bags and go out for an evening/night event in town. The room was cold, frigid cold, but this is not uncommon when housekeeping turns a room. I adjusted the temp and we left for a night of fun. When we returned, slightly after midnight, the room was still a meat locker. The original room temp was so cold that I had left the HEAT on in August (but at a modest 72 degrees). The thermostat was reading a balmy 65 and the heat was not running. After fiddling about, the heat would only kick on for about five minutes before making a clunking noise and shutting down. Knowing that the hotel was booked because of the events, and that it was after midnight, the wife and I sucked it up and TRIED to sleep instead of trying the unlikely event of getting a room change. It was a challenge. The extreme cold prevented such for me. Eventually, wifey fell asleep so I abandoned all hope, and made the rounds every 5-10 minutes of trying to force some warm air on (and then off again). The next morning, after a combined 2 hours sleep for me, I was eager to leave. We showered and got ready to move on when the icing on the cake was presented: The hair dryer (a staple in even the cheapest of scary hotels) was missing.

The room was extra clean, the woman at the desk was very friendly, and the free breakfast was the best I've seen in a long time.

In town due to my mom's emergency ER visit to OVRH while on a I-70 road trip, stay ended up to be more than a couple of days, first night stayed at Hampton Inn — people there were not friendly except their night time courtesy officer. If I heard one more time, "well its not our policy, it's Hilton's policy I thought I may just scream "stop yourself". And Hilton's policy says. Blah blah blah. Really? the SpringHill Suites team however was WONDERFUL! from Michael at check-in to Elaine in the morning assisting me, they are far more friendly here. I want to give my business to a service provider that's team are friendly and genuinely nice. love it here at SpringHill Suites, extended my stay and will stop here again on my next I-70 road trip overnight stop.

Good rating on service would have been better but because I left my phone charger, Spoke with two staff members who said they'd check and call me back. No call came.

Everything was fine, except for the pool. It had dead bugs everywhere and the hot tub/ whirl pool was lukewarm, and the bubbles blasted cold water instead of warm water. There were sveral beetles, crickets, and some kind of biting flies in the water and on the floor.
