Thanks so much for a pleasant stay. Very delicious food! I enjoyed sitting on the screened porch watching the squirrels. Will definitely stay again. Beautiful house and great people!

What a wonderful place! Donn and Marie were fantastic hosts, breakfasts (and afternoon snacks! ) were delicious, and everything was very clean. We felt safe the entire time we were there. A great work-from-“home” location! We stayed in the Shenandoah Room, which was spacious and had a fantastic porch with a table to spread out computers and paperwork during the day and puzzles and games in the evenings. Restaurant recommendations (Alfredo’s) were first-rate. Thank you, and we will be back!

Donn and Marie made our stay at this historic inn very special. The inn is decorated beautifully and made me feel as if I were stepping back in time. The breakfasts and snacks were very beautiful and delicious. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. They went above and beyond to engage with us and provide us with information, suggestions, and anything we needed.

We went to the Carriage Inn to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The suite we had was magnificent. The innkeepers, were thoughtful, helpful, available at all times, and extremely kind. The breakfasts were delicious, and the fruit the freshest I’d ever eaten. The service we received was amazing, the afternoon snacks were such a nice touch along with all the complimentary drinks in our room fridge.
I totally would recommend the Carriage Inn, and truthfully, we cannot wait to go back.

This is a repeat visit to the Carriage Inn. First for my husband. We both love it and he would visit this place again as well. Hospitality is hands down. Great place to be! The Inn has both history and charm. Great breakfast and treats as well as comfortable atmosphere.

Had the most wonderful stay at The Carriage Inn! Wonderfully kind hosts, beautiful home, an all around amazing stay! Owners Donn and Marie go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We were made to feel so at home with an afternoon snack each day and my dietary restrictions were handled with ease. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Can't recommend the Inn highly enough!

If you plan to visit Charles Town, do yourself a huge favor and make this your preferred stay! Not only is it an incredibly historic property with an interesting story involving general Grant and the Washington family, but it also has the nicest caretakers ever! Lovely property, warm fireplaces, yummy breakfast, and friendly people!

What a charming place! The owner is incredibly welcoming and has so much to share in regard to the history of this home and Charles Town. We felt instantly at home and highly suggest this beautiful B&B!

Donn and Marie are the best hosts and provide loving care to both you and their home. Their home is filled with history from the area and they love to share their knowledge with visitors. You will also be treated to amazing breakfasts and delicious snacks in the evening.

Had a girls night out at the horse races and casino then stayed at The Carriage Inn. The home was lovely and the history about the house that Marie provided upon arrival was an added bonus. Marie & Donn we wonderful! They served us a delicious breakfast later in the morning due to our late night out. I've been to a couple B & B's in the past where I felt like you can't touch anything and they had a lot of rules but Marie & Donn made me feel like I was home at The Carriage Inn.

This was a wonderful experience. Donn and Marie go out of their way to make you feel at home. Breakfasts were amazing as were the daily afternoon treats. The house and its rooms are beautiful and full of history. Best B&B we ever stayed in. Definitely would return and definitely would recommend highly.

We had a great stay in the Sunset Room. We loved the inn keepers. The house is full of history. Breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate my husband meal limitations.

Terrific BnB. Every detail was perfect. This BnB is especially interesting for Civil War history enthusiasts. Location very close to Antietam and Harper's Ferry. Breakfasts were outstanding too!

Amazing! Owners were extremely nice — have us a history brief on the area and the house that was informative but not too long. They had amazing brownies to snack on as well as tea & coffee out at all times. Breakfast in bed was fantastic! I highly recommend it!

If a room is available, just book it! This place is fantastic! Breakfast is delicious and when paired with such kind service, it just can't be beat. Marie and Donn bring such a generous spirit of hospitality, warmth, and compassion to their business. We're fortunate to have come across this gem and I'm confident that future visitors will feel the same way.

Amazing stay at this B&B. Beautiful rooms and excellent historic Inn. Donn and Marie were excellent hosts and breakfast was just superb. Eggs were to die for thanks to the chef. Will be back for next trip.

A lovely and historic B&B in Charles Town WV, owned by Donn and Marie. We enjoyed a winter getaway in the Carriage House, a private building with a suite of three rooms, including a large jacuzzi tub. The hosts are warm and friendly, but give you space and privacy. Breakfast was served to our door and was fantastic. We will return.

I have to say that our stay with you we found to be over the top amazing. Your home is absolutely beautiful and so was our suite. I'm am very grateful you have chosen to open your house with all its history to all of us who stay with you! Not only was your home warming but the food was delicious.
