We have been to the Hillbrook many times and are never disappointed. The time I want to give my review about is from when my in-laws had a micro wedding. Carissa, the owner, was so gracious and helpful with us having their wedding there. Michelle, the event coordinator, was so organized and her attention detail is unmatched. Marquel and the servers were friendly and well versed in the menu. They gave us just enough attention, but also let us enjoy our time at dinner. And THE FOOD! Chefs kiss. No words. My husband and I have lived in California, Florida and New York City and have never been more impressed by each course. I’m truly the pickiest eater and I tried it all, ate it all and can’t wait to go back. If you are looking to get married, get dinner or stay the night you won’t be disappointed. Book it now!

We went to a wedding at this facility and had a great experience. The customer service was amazing, it was a beautiful setting. And the food was absolutely delicious!

We booked the Serenity suite just above the spa. It was charming, spacious and convenient for my spa treatments. The dry sauna in our room made it perfect. The grounds were beautiful and scenic. Dinner and breakfast at the Inn were fresh and delicious. Perfect Birthday getaway. Will definitely book again.

My wife and I had dinner here for her birthday. This is by far the best restaurant in the area and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Chef Jan Van Haute is amazing.

It is so quiet and peaceful located in a nice wooded area. I loved my massage and facial. The staff is very friendly.

We had such a nice weekend here to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. The grounds were beautiful and our suite was cozy and charming with the fireplace and soaking tub. The staff was great and the food was absolutely outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our room THE SPRING COTTAGE! It had a nice soaking tub! And was very quiet & private.

We had an exceptional 2 night stay in the spring cottage and were amazed by the cleanliness, wonderful customer service, dinner and breakfast.
This is a hidden gem in a green oasis, so close to home and perfect for a short getaway.
We also used the spa service for a maternal and Swedish massage. I am looking forward to my next visit. Corona information:

This is our favorite special occasion venue. Food is only part of the experience. The place itself is enchanting. The dining takes place in different rooms of this beautiful old manor house on this estate. The limited menu changes daily but we have never been disappointed… there are always interesting dishes to please every palate.

This was the first time the hubby and I went away for the weekend without the kids (1 and 3! ). It was the perfect get away. The Inn is quaint, quiet and comfortable and the service was impeccable! We took advantage of several of the services including a couples massage and the wine tour. Both were excellent! The wine tour was my personal favorite. Daniela our driver was fun and we had a great time with her. My only suggestion is to drop 8 chains north from the winery tour. Their wine experts were not very knowledgeable, nor did they seem excited to be there. They also charged us for the tasting which Daniela was nice enough to point out and have them credit back to us. Apparently this happens frequently. I could have easily spent all day at Doukenie.

Lovely place! My husband and I stayed a couple of days celebrating our anniversary and we loved it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I have tons of food restrictions and allergies and the chef was so accommodating with all the meals. The inn is adorable and quaint. We stayed in the overlook and it was super cute!

My wife and I booked our honeymoon at Hillbrook and it was a very enjoyable stay. The accommodations are excellent. The grounds are beautiful and create the most relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the Summer Cottage and were completely satisfied with everything. The rooms are quiet and beautifully decorated. The walls were hand painted in our room and the furnishings were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with a jetted tub and dual showers. One of the highlights of our stay at Hillbrook was the food. We had breakfast there every day and dinner on one night. The food is First rate and the service is on the same level. We booked a wine tour through the Inn that was very enjoyable. Our host, Becky, was awesome and made us feel relaxed and comfortable the entire time. All of the staff were fantastic and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend booking a stay here. There are plenty of things to do near by or, if you want to drive a bit, D. C. And Baltimore are only about a one and a half hour drive away.

Our two-night stay at the Hillbrook Inn was wonderfully relaxing, comfortable, and memorable thanks to the incredible care, flexibility, and attention of its excellent staff. We stayed at the Spring Cottage, which was perfectly sized for two adults and a baby. Due to the July heatwave, we ended up spending more time indoors than we expected, so were very appreciative of how clean it all was — and how efficiently the housekeeping staff took care of the place during our brief absences from the cottage. While the other Inn guests were all adults, my wife and I had brought along our nine-month-old for a bit of family time and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. As a result, we got to enjoy truly excellent meals and wine as a couple, but also got to share in breakfast and dinner times with the little one, which made us feel like we got all the family time we could have wanted without feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone or putting people out. The kitchen and wait staff were wonderful to us — made sure that baby always had something age-appropriate to munch on and let us sequence our meals to ensure that we were able to get baby to bed on schedule. The meals were delicious and the multi-course menu options offered excellent value and selection. A final note is that my wife got a 90-minute deep tissue massage, which she said was the best she has ever had anywhere in the world so don't miss out on the spa!
