Just gross. Carpet in halls is ripped, stained, and smells. Folded blankets over to get in bed, and there were blood, or some kind of bodily fluid stains on them. Glad I had a sleeping bag. Tiny parking lot, but won't have to worry about that if you just dont go here. $150 room that should be no more than $75. Matches motels on Aurora. Just gross.

Great location if you wanted to be close to Husky Stadium or University Village but the hotel itself is lacking in cleanliness and outdated by any reasonable standard. All the carpets are dirty and the hallways have a strong unpleasant odor. Not much better once you enter the room. Skip the free complimentary breakfast and walk across the street into University Village to avoid even more disappointment. There is free parking.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms are reasonably nice, but the attention to detail by the maintenance and food service crews leave much to be desired. Some faucets will quite literally knock the cup from your hand with the pressure of the water, while others are barely over a trickle. Some of the furniture looks like it was picked up off the side of the road after it didn't sell at a yard sale. These are cosmetic issues, though. When I got the continental breakfast, there was no apple juice. When I informed the woman working, ahe replaced it immediately, BUT, I got a look at the containers the juice was in and they had a use by date in March. It is now almost mid-june. I didn't get to see if the waffle batter was expired, but I can only speculate that it is. Suffice it to say, that is the last time I'll be eating a meal provided by the hotel.

It was a really good place, its food abd breakfast was good, but the smell of the the place was kind of unpleasant, but it was good overall.

Trash was left behind the bedside table. The water damage in the bathroom was horrible. The floors bowed with every step. Though a nonsmoking hotel, the hallway and room smelled of smoke and there were cigarette burns in the duvet covers.

The staff are so quick yet efficient in every aspect of their job. I arrive, they locate my reservation, never give me any problems and within five minutes I'm checked in and ready to relax. Thanks a lot guys.

Great price for a decent room. The University Village shopping center across the street was very convenient.

We made an impromptu road trip to Seattle. Last minute booking was the ONLY good thing about this hotel. We arrived around 4 in the afternoon. As soon as we left the front desk and entered the hall way we where met with a foul musty odar on the bottom floor that remained for the entire visit. The hall carpets where covered and stained, and doors where difficult to open. When we got to our room we struggled to get the door open, finally we did. The room was unclean, dirt on the walls, sticky tables, crumbs in the fridge, and dirty beds. We requested that they send somebody to change the sheets, but they never showed so we slept in our clothes. We attempted to use the Internet but had a horrible time connecting, and even once we did it was too slow to use. We attempted to order a pizza with the phone that was supplied in our room only to find that it didn't work (shocker. ) After a noisy night with little sleep it was time to get up and shower for the day. As soon as we turned on the water the bottom water spout shot off making the shower unusable. We went to the front desk with our problem, and a repair man was sent up. He was unable to fix the problem right away so he offered to let us shower in the next room. The room that he opened for us to shower in HADN'T EVEN BEEN CLEANED YET. At this point we just decided to check out without a shower. When asked how our stay was I explained to the unapologetic host at the front desk everything that happened.

Average hotel I guess; kinda smelled; screwed up plumbing, clogged sink, etc; power outlets seemed like they were waiting to start a fire.

Bed wasn't on a solid foundation so it sagged significantly in the middle, most uncomfortable bed ever!

The location is really solid, right near the U District and other common destinations. The rooms are a little spartan (for instance rough towels) but reasonably priced. The service is friendly and helpful.

Awful experience. Run down and had BED BUGS in both beds. Disgusting! Night person would not even give a refund, only another room. One star is being kind.

This place sucked all around. Cheap looking place everything was breaking or broken. Had the card reader to get in break, the sink was clogged, the shower was a joke couldn't maintain water temp would alternate between burning and freezing, the toilet busted and we were told to pretty much deal with it, they wouldn't give us any extra pillows. All around awful place do yourself a favor and don't go here.

This hotel smells like your Uncle Ed's Lincoln Continental from 1972 — you know the one in which he chain-smoked for 40 years but rubbed down with cologne when he was trying to impress a date. This hotel belongs in a David Lynch film, not on a reservation site.

This place over charged me $700 on my card three days after I stayed there. So sure, if you have money to wipe your ass with and like to spend a lot of it on mediocrity, go ahead and stay there. This place is probably the worst thing to have ever happened to America.

Bed bugs, put the light into the sheets and you will see all the nasty stains on the sheet, the bathroom was disgusting stains everywhere, don't even get me started on the smell omg!, the TV was old, I had to wash all my clothes and take a shower when I got home, the sink water left a nasty taste in my mouth when I went to brush my teeth. I will never go back here again, this place should be shut down. Do not go here, there are cheaper hotels for better.

Bed bugs. Front desk people are unhelpful/unpleasant. When we told the front desk about the bed bugs. She asked for photos. Are you kidding me? We had to put all our clothes and belongings in plastic bags and it ruined our trip. Asked the front desk to call me a cab, and I waited in the "lobby" for 45 mins until I called them myself. I honestly don't think he called me a cab. I was here for a conference and did not complete the booking and would never have done so for fears related to this. Don't even consider staying here.

1. Hallways stink of smoke. 2. Everything looks worn out. 3. Even the cheap paint can't hide 40 years of deferred maintenance. 4. Exit door to parking is a FIRE TRAP! It takes 3, 4 or more tries to get it to open. FIX IT! 5. Other reviews highlighted the sheets as a trouble spot and indeed we found our freshly washed sheets still had faded stains on them. 6. Bring your own sheets and towels. 7. Travelodge corporate should pull this franchise and give it to someone with the capitol to represent their brand with appropriate standards. 8. Even with the deep discount we were given this is still not worth the money except that it's the only budget game in town. 9. I might not complain at $50 a night but we spent $90 and they "normally charge $150 a night. I'd laugh if it wasn't so pitiful! 10. Lighting in the rooms is CHEAP and harsh. (TIP) Use the cheap towels and throw them over the cheap lights. It helped some. 11. Hot water took five minutes to come up to a temp suitable for a quick shower. CONCLUSION: If you need a budget place to stay and know the issues going in you can prepare. Bring sheets, towels and a small portable HEPA air filter. That's what we did and we had a tolerable stay.

Had a great experience at Travelodge! Nice service. Good room. Nice bathrooms! Solid breakfast. Overall very good and pleasant.

Not even worth giving a star a to. We arrived very late around 2am. My daughter was sound asleep so I put her down on top of the bed. About 30 minutes later I pulled back the covers to get in bed myself and there was dried blood on the sheets. As this was so late I was unable to do anything until the morning. I slept in the chair with my daughter on my chest. The apologies were barely acceptable and they did not seem very concerned with the health implications of unchanged linens. The $20.00 discount was not nearly appropriate for the entire night's unrest and disregard for cleanliness.

As another reviewer said, it's a room. I didn't know there was a shopping center across the street until after we got there. That was a nice surprise. They let us check in early which was also nice. After reading another review about having no hot water, I thought we were having a similar issue until my boyfriend discovered hot water was actually on the "C" side and cold water was on the "H" side. Short cab ride to the Neptune Theater, which was our reason for the visit. There was a mixup in the office which led to two strangers walking into our room shortly after settling in. No harm done, but I definitely made sure to use the extra locks on the door after that. Needs updating for sure, but it was a decent price, pretty good location, and covered the basics, and that's all we were after.
