Very disappointing! This was our first time staying in this hotel. We were able to check in early which allowed us to leave out belonging in the hotel rather than a hot car all day while sightseeing. When we got back we noticed that we didn't have a shower curtain. Bathroom did not have a fan, counters had stains, floor had either mold or just mildew (black patches on the floor). Ceiling above the room had rusts. Window opened up in the living room but did not have screen. TV worked but had turn up the volume VERY high to hear. AC turned off in the morning and could not turn back on, luckily we were checking out early. For what I paid, I expected bit more!

We found this hotel on Kayak. While the price was decent for a Summer weekend at 88$ a night, there were less amenities than promised. There was no microwave in the room and the fridge was warm. There was only a shower and no bathtub. The bed was uncomfortable and both of us woke up with a backache. There was no bedspread or comforter on the bed, just a white blanket between two sheets so that the top of the bed was just a sheet. We had to ask for extra pillows and blankets. There was no ice near our room on the second floor in the annex. The elevator was broken and has been since yesterday. I am disabled and having to slowly and painfully climb stairs. Housekeeping woke us up at 9am repeatedly knocking on the door. There is a single chair in the room and a very small armoire. There was only regular television with very few channels. We could not use the option to order movies because the remote was universal and had no guide button. Overall it was a disappointment, rundown and merely adequate for shelter. The Yankee Grill was so bad we left without ordering. They ignored us for 15 minutes and then after seating us the host and waitress stood chatting. When I finally got their attention to ask for a breakfast menu I was told they stop serving breakfast at 11am. They were rude and not at all personable. They could have sold me on lunch if they were friendly. We went to the Shari's down the street and got great service and food at lightning speed.

We were stranded at the airport thanks to a delayed flight and this hotel and it's employees were kind and made room for us. Unfortunately the suite's bedroom light was burnt out and there weren't very many available outlets. It also got abnormally cold during the night. Other than that, the staff was very accommodating.

We arrived to the hotel. It was very good customer service we got our room headed upstairs and opened the door it was only one bed we had four people and I reserved two queen beds and it had people things already In the room. It was very upsetting, but the resolved the issues very fast and efficiently. That was the only problem. Other than that is was nice.

Very nice hotel. Close to airport, shopping and restaurants. Helpful staff. Coffee in lobby a plus. Hot. Clean area. Free breakfast would have been a nice option. Even though most guest, don't have time or get up early enough. Adjoining restaurant YANKEE GRILL. Food was good, staff kind, efficient and helpful as well.

Aging hotel. No breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Could use a makeover.

We went in to rent a room and the lady there was very rude, and threatened to call the police. We had tried to be respectful but it was awful service hope to get somewhere to stay.

This hotel is extravagant, we had a really nice time here. We were upgraded to a suite since we waited in line for awhile. That was very sweet, much appreciated!

This hotel is in serious need of renovation. It's stuck in 1983 and needs love. Beyond that, the staff is nice and will address any issues. There is a restaurant and its not bad. Free parking and close to the freeway.

I have been seduced by the high gloss photos in the selection and at the end encountered a hotel that has been visible in the years. If you like the American Oldshool charm, this is a good place to stay.
My room was big, but the carpet, which is visible and above all in the corners, the only newly-built pillows, which still exuded the sweat of the guests of the day before, as well as the dust on the bed border, the TV, behind the furniture and under the bed; all this is Just disgusting and certainly not worth 88 USD.
There are also missing insect screens in front of the windows, because all kinds of animals can crawl into the bedroom. Very detrimental because the wooden ceilings and walls are also very noisy.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Would have been 5 stars if front desk didnt take forever just to check in. It seemed like what took so long was what sounded like on the phone with his friends. Other than that cant complain.

Awesome services! The supervisor Sarah knows what she is doing and how to work with their clients to make sure they serve them with one hundred percent satisfaction. I had a business meeting there and it was well served with low pricing and success.

Very poor customer service! Waited for the airport shuttle for 55 minutes! I kept calling the front desk and was told there was a problem with the shuttle which was a lie! Jacob the front desk clerk forgot to call the driver and blamed the innocent driver! I explained that it was very cold waiting at the airport for nearly an hour. Jacob's response… "I BET IT WAS. " Very rude. I have layovers in Seattle often, and will never stay here again! Rooms are clean but very basic with a very small bathroom. Also… 15 minutes from SEA.

Stranded by Delta so sent for an overnight to Red Lion. Driver Willie was so kind and engaging on the ride to hotel. Made me comfortable before getting there. Check-in was easy and found the young desk agent came from my regional area in Micronesia. Room was clean and bed real comfy. Bigger than I needed for sure! bathroom was CLEAN! Offered nice smelling soaps, lotions for shower with good water pressure. Yankee Grill dinner was Shrimp scampi, good tasting and filling! The wait staff was welcoming and the menu had a good variety of offerings. Wal-Mart and many options to eat close-by. Had a nice stay!

Great staff. Its super nice when you walk in. And then you go to your room. Thats a whole different story. Cocking around toilet gone. When it comes to flushing toilet you have to use your foot to push in one direction. And always check the edges of shower curtains. Espeacily the clothe ones.

Got in late last night and no remote control for this dated Lg TV. I reported it to the front desk, but I think I am now a suspect for remote jacking. Haha. My room is real clean although the carpet is early 80s with lots of stains. The room does not smell of old cigarettes or pine cleaner. The bed is med for softness worked good on my back. Nice and quiet all night for a Thursday. I ended up staying 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. I used the shuttle to and from the airport. Both drivers are truly nice guys and helpful with local information. I would come back just to see them again. Thanks guys!

I will not be coming back to this one. The bathrooms were dirty, the walls were dirty, the doors were dirty, the fridge was dirty. There are no pictures on the walls, and a dirty border of where the picture was ripped off the wall remained. The drywall was falling out of the holes from where the picture was taken off the wall. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean, but be prepared to only sleep with sheets. There are no blankets on the beds. One good thing is that the staff was friendly even though there was a definite language barrier with the housekeeping staff. We had four occupants in the room, and each day there was only a set of three towels. The hot tub was not working on the day of our arrival. And the concierge carts were too big for the very small elevators. The hotel is in a good location with many different areas for shopping and dining within a 12 to 15 minute radius. The restaurant on site is very disgusting and I would never recommend eating there to anyone.

If you can stay at another hotel in the area, do so. This place is very meh. The bed was good, but I dont think they reset my room before I came in. I had no waters like my colleagues had in their rooms. For some reason I was missing a mini fridge and a microwave. The front desk workers were nice. The restaurant nearby was not good, although the people who worked there thought it was okay.

Nice hotel for a decent price. The Red Lion hotel Renton seems to have been remodeled the rooms are clean nice new beds. The rooms also smell fresh and clean I haven't smelled any smoke since I've been here in the past few days. The hotel seems well-maintained in the staff are friendly. Overall I am happy for the price a good value for Seattle.

The rooms looked a bit dirty, but the decor is more up to date then most. The worst part I guess was the neighborhood it was in. Kinda industrial. But, they were there in a pinch when we missed a flight and the airlines put us up there… although it was 10 miles away from the airport. We had to be back at 4am so getting up an extra hour early was tough. Overall, for one night it was acceptable. But I really wish they would act when you tell the front desk that someone on our floor was smoking pot! God forbid you smoke a cigarette! But pot? I am allergic to it… so it was bad for me.

Pro: 1. Close to the airport 2. Enough hot water and water pressure was good (this is important) Con: 1. Waited for around 30 minutes in airport for a hotel transportation 2. The room actually was quite (at least seems) dirty, especially the floor 3. In the morning at 7 there were no coffee in the lobby anymore, even hot water 4. Reserved transportation to the airport at 7, when I got on the bus, there was no more seats available, amazing!

I stayed at this hotel about 20 times in the last year and last night was probably the last time (I have one more night already booked). We used to love this hotel but the quality of both service and facilities has gone down significantly. Most rooms smell strongly like mold, very musty moldy smell. Bedding doesn't look as fresh as it used to be and sometimes I wonder if it has been changed. A few weeks ago the cleaning staff entered my room (with no disturb sign on) and disposed of my possessions thinking I have checked out (I had one more night), and when we told the reception staff about it, they told us nothing they could do since their manager was out until the morning. Fans are extremely loud making it's hard to sleep. The final draw was finding bed bugs in the bed. I won't stay here again.

Very dated. The decor hasn't changed since the 70's. Staff was welcoming and courteous but the room was just awful. Thread bare carpets, weird smell. The restaurant food was bland and probably heated up in a microwave. The service again, outstanding. The staff deserves 5 stars.

Everything was fine, nothing spectacular. Room was clean and comfortable. Decor is a bit dated. Staff is friendly enough, though I found them a bit apathetic. I'm a bit of a stickler for customer service, and I didn't feel like the staff really did much to make us feel welcome. The complimentary breakfast was just OK, pretty standard fare. I got a deal on the room through Expedia, so I can't complain too much.

Suites are big, but a bit ragged. Kind of weird: living area is quite large and includes couch, desk and chair, large screen television, AND kitchenette. Kitchenette has real refrigerator, dishwater, sink, microwave and cabinets, but no dishes or utinsels in cabinets! Neither room has a ceiling light even though there are wall switches. Carpets are quite worn. Bathroom so large you could dance in it (now, there's a sight! ). Staff people are very nice. Instructions for controls for heat/air were so worn they couldn't be read. Good location (short ride to airport, large restaurant and a gas station next door).

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was nice and welcoming. Room was cozy. TV and AC were fantastic. Nothing special, just a hotel thats not far from either Seattle or the airport, which was where I wanted to stay for my business trip. Only a few minor complaints — — only one elevator went to the top floor, the parking is a little crammed, and the bathroom didn't seem fully cleaned, though it wasn't dirty. Time to downtown Seattle is roughly 15-30 min depending on traffic.

Rooms are out-dated & small. Checkout is at 11am. Counter was sliding around when I set down my bag, heavy slate not secured. TV was cable connections was static. Asked to switch rooms & got a service request at first, but then they gave me a new room. Bathroom toilet got the "park old school flusher". Ladies at the counter are working hard as they can. Not worth the $100+ I was charged, let alone $60 in my opinion. 3 star hotel at the most. Housekeeping came early while I was gone & threw my stuff away. Complained & didn't get offered a discount. Asked how long was my deposit gonna take to refund & was told 3-5 business days. It's been now 7 days & I still haven't received my deposit back. The Staff is fluttered & under staffed. They need more help. They're just probably frustrated & under-paid.

Rooms are small and do not appear very clean. Very disappointed. The pictures online look allot better than it actually was. Make up smears were on the bathroom door and found red make up or blood smears on the front door to the room. I had to wipe down the doors. Had a room to accommodate 4 people and only had 2 towels and 1 wash cloth. I won't be staying here again. Even my 8 year old son mentioned how unclean/ out dated the room was and he loves all hotels!

It was a nice hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. The building and pool were clean and well kept. The adjoining restaurant was very good and also had friendly staff. The hotel provided a shuttle, allowing us to go to and from the airport with very little headache. The drivers were also amazingly friendly and kind. Calling to get the shuttle to pick us up, however, sometimes put us on hold for long periods of time.

When I first arrived at the Red Lion, I was waiting for co-workers to check in, my diabetes kick in so I had a snack and had to lay down. The front counter lady yelled at me but later did apologize. I found this weird but let it go. Last night my work truck was broken into in front of the hotel. I told the hotel who took down my number and said someone would call me but they never did. Now I have left a message and nothing. Sucks but a victim of a crime so they could of acted like they cared. I had to go back in and make sure they cleaned up the lot. Very disappointed. I live in hotels 250 days of the year and this is the first time I have had a complaint.

We had no choice our flight was cancelled, and we had been traveling since 5:00 AM the day before. Delta Airlines sent us to this complimentary Hotel that was filthy, bugs crawling all over the rooms (we had two) no hot water for shower or to even wash face. Carpets were coming up from floors, coffee tables in waiting area dirty with spills, hand prints and sticky. Dining room not customer friendly. Only thing decent was breakfast offering. Forget customer service in dining room, no choice but to eat from buffet. We will never stay here again and think twice before we use Delta Airlines again.

Beds where hard, the spray they used to make the room smell better stunk, and it was expensive. Only good thing was they replaced the shower head that was hardly putting out any pressure.

Dated decor. Feels old with peeling wall paper in room. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

This is the hotel that the airlines use to put up the over booked flights. The staff was very nice and the rooms were very comfortable. There is a Wal-Mart a couple of blocks away.

My flight had be delayed or cancelled until the next day so they put me up in this hotel. I wasn't expecting much but I have to tell you they were extremely accommodating beautiful hotel and rooms. Prompt shuttle to the airport as well. I would definitely stay again.

Given wrong room key for a room with someone else in it. Easy to hear loud neighbors. Beds were too firm.

Very clean and pleasant. The airport shuttle service was amazing. The driver worked all night but she was as polite abd helpful in the morning as if she had just started a shift.

The hotel was nice, but the shuttle service was terrible, I was told by thr front. Desk to wait in the shuttle, but noone was there, I was then apprpached by the driver 30 minutes later accusing me of taking over his shuttle. I then went over and told him okay, and I opened the back of his shuttle and freaked out again. Piss poor performance.

If I could give this place a 0… I would. This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at as far as customer service goes. I arranged a pickup from my rental car company. I wrote down the address and gave them my number in case anything came up. They were 15 min late so I called, got the driver, he said he was on his way. I called again 20 min later. Kid said that the driver would come… a whole hour later the driver finally calls and asks where I am at. I tell him where, he gets upset and said the kids at the desk told him enterprise at the airport… he had done 2 runs waiting and looking for use. (Mind you its 11 pm at night when this all is going on, and I have to leave at 4am). Talk about bad customer service, I WROTE DOWN the address for the kids working the front desk. Aweful service, no solutions, no discounts, nothing. This is the problem with MY generation. Lazy, no work ethic, no respect for customers, and lack of desire to go above and beyond. I will making a complaint, not only to the regional manager but also to the company management themselves. What a joke.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff, upon check in, was polite but not very friendly and never smiled. Other than that, great stay for the rate!
