Rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately the rest of the experience didn't live up to what I have come to expect from La Quinta. The beds have big dips in them, doesn't look like they've ever been turned or replaced, my back is tweaked because of it. No matter where you try to sleep on a bed like that, you just know you'll end up in the hole while you are sleeping. The AC makes noise but doesn't do much cooling. Even in just high 70 degree temps it struggled to keep the room below muggy. The bathroom featured 1-ply toilet paper, and the lights are on a timer. I used the restroom, set them to an hour (the highest setting), went and got breakfast, came back for a shower and didn't think about needing to reset the lights. Generally when you turn a light on, you would think it should stay on until you turn it off. There's a large button on the bottom of the switch that looks like it should make the lights stay on like normal, but they are still controlled by the timer. Just as I was finishing soaping up, the lights and fan turned off. Complete can't see my hand in front of my face kind of darkness. Definitely an interesting time finishing up, drying off, finding everything, and getting dressed. Other than all that, the room was nice.

This review is a little bit delayed, we stayed there a few months ago while visiting family. The majority of the room was clean except for the shower which had someone else’s hair all over the tub and the shower curtain had mold along the bottom. I notified the front desk and they had the shower cleaned and curtain changed without issue but it should have been seen by the housekeepers before the room was occupied again. The room also smelled a little like dog pee, which, traveling with a dog, I know accidents happen. But again, address this before the room is occupied. I notified the front desk of this as well so I wouldn’t be charged for it, they offered to have some type of filter brought, which never showed up. We were there 4 nights, I didn’t bother asking again. We had no other issues with our stay.

Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent, great variety. Location is a bit weird, but well within walking distance to several convenience stores and a couple grocery stores.

Great location. Close to everything and only a few short minutes from downtown Seattle. The staff is wonderfully friendly and the rooms are clean and as described. The indoor pool and hot tub, and free continental breakfast are added perks.

Friendly at check in, however attendant was away when I tried to check in on a Friday night at 1030 pm. Had to call a number for immediate assistance. Walls are thin. My next door neighbor is noisy at night. Beds are comfy and amenities are decent. Excellent breakfast options!

Good parking. Easy check in. Friendly service. Great breakfast. Was going to complain about small, low seated toilet in double queen room, but then I laid on the bed, and all was right in the world! 5 star worthy for sure!

Convenient location — — several restaurants within easy walking distance. Neighborhood seems a bit depressed, ripe for reconstruction. The inn itself is refreshing its rooms; lobby remains to be done. Breakfast was crowded but robust, with several high quality protein sources as well as the usual array of carbs and fats.

I come here all the time when I'm in Lynnwood. Clean rooms and great customer service. The front desk lady Melissa greets us with a smile and does a fantastic job!

My wife and I have been dedicated LA Quinta patrons since we discovered them in 2003 because of the consistent quality, cleanliness and service. Whether we were in Santa Fe, NM or Lynnwood, WA, we could always count on clean rooms. Clean rooms are especially important to me as I continue to undergo joint replacement and bone marrow transplants a couple times a year due to a degenerative condition and stay in LA Quinta the night before surgery to be close to the hospital. Unfortunately, last night was the first time we've ever been disappointed. It's not a huge issue, but the room had been smoked in and, the previous occupants had a dog. I understand that's going to happen from time to time since I request accessible rooms on the ground floor, but it should have been cleaned thoroughly at least. I also don't hold LA Quinta responsible for people smoking in the room, but we could have been warned. I awoke at about 2 am having an asthma attack. The cleaning staff was more interested in chatting and giggling in the hall outside our room at 8 am than thoroughly cleaning rooms. I had to clean pubic hairs out of the bathtub before my wife could take a shower. I realize that it's difficult to find hard working, ethical employees in certain areas of the country, which is why we never stay in any hotel in Everett, WA, but I didn't realize that Lynnwood, WA was presenting the same challenges.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I am so frustrated at the customer service and random charges being made to my card! This is not a place I will ever return, nor will I ever recommend going. When I tried to get the woman at the front desk to explain to me these charges, she couldn't. She told me that they owed me a credit of 57.00, but that she needed me to pay the 7$ that I owed! How is that even possible? She then went on to tell me that I should pay the 250 $ cash deposit next time to avoid all these mistakes being charged to my card by them! I have stayed in many hotels, and I have never been ripped off like this before! Stay with them at your own risk!

My wife and I have stayed here multiple times and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are always clean. The price point is also terrific. Every time there's been an issue the staff has been responsive and quick to fix the issue. The only criticism I have is one staff member is terribly afraid of dogs and yet works in one of the most pet friendly hotel chains there is. Other than that the hotel is perfect and we will stay here again and again and again. This is our go to hotel for Seattle.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, descent free breakfast. Wifi sucks in room 216 and the toilet flapper valve leaks so the tank fills up every half hour throughout the night. But it's a good overall value. I stay here once a month when I visit Seattle. Room 216 goes on my "please give me a different room" list.

Great service, comfortable rooms. Elena checked me in quickly and professionally. I got to say she really made me feel like a long time friend coming by for a visit! Angela left a sign note to inform me she had personally cleaned my room. I may be a little sappy, but those lil personal touches go a long way with me. I travel in this area often and will definitely be lodging here again soon. Thanks you all.

Friendly staff. Very convenient location right off the freeway with lots of shopping and food options nearby. Parking might be a little tight if you have a larger vehicle and the lot is full. Room did have a little road nose, but not so much that it cost me sleep. Overall, a pretty good value.

Nice place for the price. Staff was very nice and helpful. The elevators are really small and make a LOT of noise. A little alarming to be honest. Beds are comfortable.

I lived there for 2 years. This place is very family oriented, all the staff are so nice the pool is so perfectly warm and 7ft deep, the free breakfast is spectacular. I seriously recommend it. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and you vet to see tons of different kind of dogs ❤

OMG! I couldn't be happier! The people who work here are the best. Elenna, Laurel, Grace, Jason, Tiffany, Daniel, all front desk staff, are all so friendly and accommodating! Tiffany and Daniel are gone now, but still very nice people. I don't know all of the housekeeping staff names (I'm sorry) but they are all so good at what they do! The breakfast ladies… what can I say, I call them the breakfast angels. Mr. Kim, and Mike Kim (Mike is the general manager) are both so nice! I've been here during a remodeling of 5 floors with minimal disruptions. All together, a very pleasant experience. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make your guests happy.

The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable. It was pretty small but not claustrophobic. The staff we talked to were polite and helpful. Overall it was decent for the price and I don't have any complaints. I didn't try the complimentary breakfast or call service so I can't speak on that.

Great hotel for the money. Newly updated. Nice "Hot" hot tub. Can bring my dog at no extra charge.

This place was very quiet. The breakfast was put out on time and they were never low on food choices. My only complaint was that the AC unit didn't work properly and we had to open the window at night.

Staff was very kind and attentive. I had my kids with me and they were very accommodating and understanding of my kids despite my little ones' behavior! Rooms were well kept and well stocked. The housekeeper we met didn't speak English, but she was very respectful and quickly restocked our room.

We had a great stay here. For the price all the amenties included in the stay are very worth it to me and my family. They don't charge a silly pet fee which is a plus. Hot breakfast has a variety of items so don't miss that. Staff and manager were nice and helpful. It's an older hotel but it's all renovated so there really is nothing to complain about. We came for back to school shopping and alderwood area has everything we need within a two mile radius around us. This will be our go hotel to when in town.

Beds and pillows way too soft for my back and neck or even just plain comfort. Much more expensive than led too believe. But they are clean and efficiently staffed. Beware, they do turn off your room access a half hour before check ck out time and if you haven't quite removed the last of your belongings you will. Have to get someone to let you back in. Over all 3stars.

Most important: clean room, comfy beds, and a descent breakfast included. Nit picks: Breakfast line has terribly inefficient layout and chaotic. Exercise room is really stuffy and needs better ventilation. Poster on the exercise room wall bragging about the La Quinta experience has several typos. Really?! I guess attention to detail isn't their strong suit :)

We have stayed at this location many times over the years. The new Management has done an exceptional job at upgrading the entire Hotel the past couple years. They seem to be very focused on customer service and cleanliness. Great place to stay. Very well managed!

Nice location, plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Usual ordinary hotel breakfast. Nothing special there, but it was free. Convenient to have a refrigerator in the room. Pricing was a bit odd. Our supposed group rate was more than what it could be booked for through third party apps or online. What's the supposed advantage of a group rate if it costs more?

If there is something that draws attention, is the large size of the rooms. For a guest european like me, accustomed to staying in hotels for work reasons, it is not unusual to find bedrooms as well, with beds as big and tall or bathrooms so spacious. It seems that in the united States is the general trend, because everything is huge: Houses, cars, malls, etc. The room has a small fridge and a large desk, very handy for people who need to work with a laptop. In addition, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The hotel has a gym and pool, although I have not had occasion to use them, because my stay was short. The breakfast buffet is varied, but very american style, too much meat and sweet for my taste, I miss something more than fruit. The silverware and plates are disposable, so after the breakfast the strips directly to the trash. There is free parking very extensive, so that you can park the car without problems. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. To be my first contact with the topic of housing in the united States, I have got a very good impression of the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a good area of Seattle, surrounded by good restaurants. With a heated pool and lounge with gym equipment and weights. The room is large and with a bed very spacious, tv, coffee machine and a desk to work. In summary, a very good hotel.

I had not stayed at this hotel In over 20 years and back then it was the landmark my daughter and I loved it staff great! Clean rooms This will be our new place to stay everytime we Are in Lynnwood.

It was good. Not the best. No microwave in the room and the fridge is very tiny. Also tiny sink and no counter space. The TV was also way too low for viewing on the bed. It functions purely as what it is: a hotel. Wouldn't recommend hanging around in the room. Also there are only three pillows per bed and I slept next to another person so we had to split the three pillows unevenly. Warm blankets tho.

Very nice and quiet. Food wasn't the greatest but it passes. Elevator gave me difficulties at the time but the stairs were a fine alternative. Didn't stay the night so I don't know what the rooms are like. Average hotel overall.

The rooms were really nice, and clean. The staff were also quite friendly. The only complaint that I had was that the front desk told me that breakfast was at 6 and when I went to eat only the waffle mix was out (excluding thing like fruit, bagles, toast, oatmeal) there were none of their cheesy potatoes (which I highly recommend when you find them), sausages, or eggs. That was really my only complaint. Other than that everything made our stay comfortable.

Great hotel for the whole family. Wonderful breakfast with a lot of great selections. HUGE indoor pool and hot tub. The manager Mike was very helpful with anything my family and I needed and the entire staff and a great attitude overall. LOVE this hotel. We will be back again.

My family stayed this hotel in December 2015. We made a express reservation thru the corporate app with my smartphone and received the confirmation number but when we got there the clerk could not find my reservation and demanded we pay the walk-in rate which was around $20 more per night. After travelling for 6 hours and being late at night we decided to stay. The room was ok but the towels were very old and dirty, and the water pressure was too low for both shower and hand faucets requiring to take more time to wash up with my two kids. They are in the middle of remodeling which made it very dusty and loud. I don't recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at the La Quinta brand time and time again but I had a horrible experience with the front desk girl KRYSTAL. She was very rude when checking us in and very condescending. I recommend travelers spend a couple more dollars and stay next door at the Mariott. Unhappy Travler.

Where do I start? The fact the res was messed up? Or the pool being closed? Or the homeless people who constantly walk in and out? The cleaning supplies the housekeeping left in our room? The lack of power outlets? Place has potential, but will not stay here again.

OMG! This location desperately needs new management. This is the worst LQ I have stayed at anywhere! The unbearable construction NOISE has been going on for 5 hours! No warning to any of the guests, and no where in the building to get away from it! OMG this migraine is unbelievable! I can't get any work done. I can't get any rest or relief from the pain, and this management could care less! Do not stay here!

First off after reading the reviews I noticed a view things yall should know. First, this motel sucked worst service in the world. The staff sucked and not to mention the owners son MIKE KIM that I see a post here under is a drug dealing druggy that sells drugs out of the motel. Even so if your an employee there they treat you like a slave pay you even lower to even yell at you that your not wearing makeup or just being you. They have pretty young ladies working there talking down to them to feel they are worst then the homeless outside. Its just unreal to see friends and family of the Kims post comments here because they cant get any real good complements to there motel without needing to write them themselfs. They need to be shut down because they dont know how to run there establishment. I give them 1 star trying to give a NO STAR rating there absolutely horrible. BBB should investigate there Establishment and see they are an Illegally Ran motel.

Even though this hotel is several miles north of Fishermen's Terminal, where my husband arrives after months of fishing in AK, we still make the drive to stay at this Lynnwood La Quinta, before we can head home. It's easy to find and for the money its the best place we have stayed in the past couple years. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the rooms adequately cleaned. The breakfast area could be larger but internet service was fast enough to satisfy our needs. Our clerk (Stephen) was very pleasant and helpful. We will stay again.

I just recently stayed at the hotel and they have just newly renovated the rooms, and I must say that they have made a HUGE improvement to the hotel and upgraded the internet speed and connection with perfection. I loved my stay at the La Quinta Inn Lynnwood and I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to try this place out. The pool is very big with a pretty large Jacuzzi. I really enjoyed the new bacon cheddar potatoes they served at breakfast and wish that my wife would make them for me at home. Staff was very polite and resourceful. Keep it up!

We stayed there for 3 nights. The breakfast were generally good but consistently ran out of some items and it took a long time for it to get re-stocked. Internet service was sketchy. ATM was out of order. Clean and comfortable rooms, and I felt like they better be for what we paid. I don't think we'll stay there again.

Do not expect internet service. I have stayed at this La Quinta twice with the same problem — first in 2014 & then this past weekend. We paid $200/night. Internet was inoperable both last year and again this past weekend in 2015. It appears to be a chronic problem that this property does not care to fix. For $200/night, I expect internet! We paid for steak, but got chicken. Avoid this "cheap hotel" if want to be connected.

Absolutely horrendous. We had reservations for adjoining rooms. After waiting two and a half hours past check in time (even though we had reservations! ) we were told that one of the rooms was finally ready. When we went to the room, the adjoining room was under construction! What is the point of making a reservation if the rooms you reserved are not ready at check in time? Just terrible. Do not give this place any of your money. Ridiculous. We had reservations for my mother's birthday and they completely botched it.

It's a nice, clean and friendly hotel.

I always stay there because they accommodate my dog every time. They put you on the ground floor so its easier to take your pet out and their breakfast is decent for the pre ice you pay. Staff are always friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you are on a tight budget and are looking to stay short term.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very quiet and clean. Swimming pool was very large with a comfortable jucuzzi. Fitness center had all the amenities with a TV in room for entertainment while working out. Breakfast was very large and appetizing, with a great variety. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone that love to feel right at home. Your very own home away from home.
