My complaints were not taken serioisly. My food intake was monitored.

Terrible service! Management needs to learn better customer service.

Pro: free parking, lobby breakfast, lobby restrooms, free Wi-Fi, 5 minute drive to mall.
con: near businesses but need car to get to food.

Location is close enough to shopping malls and restaurants. Previous visits to Lynnwood we felt required a quieter location with an outdoor pool. This site offers an outdoor pool and hot tub with an added outdoor seating area as a nice perk. Offers a good hot breakfast and Seattles Best coffee is always great for us coffee lovers. Hotel is looking a bit worn. For a summer stay it's nice to sit outside and relax by a pool.

We've stayed at the BW Alderwood on a number of occasions over the past few years and the service is always consistent. The front desk staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast is always fresh, replenished frequently, and good tasting. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities we need (hairdryer, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, etc. ). The location is perfect as it's close to shopping, dining and the freeway entrance. We really don't spend a lot of time in our room as we're always out exploring. If you're planning to just stay in to relax or stay out of bad weather conditions, some rooms are a bit small, but they're comfortable. Overall, good value for the money.

Best Western Alderwood is my favorite hotel. We always stay at this hotel when we're in the Lynnwood and Seattle area. The location of the hotel is excellent. It's close to mall, restaurants and freeway. Check in staff was very friendly and efficiently, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

Everything was great! Breakfast was good. Location was perfect for visiting the city. Only complaint was when checking in they did not tell me the room number just gave me the card and wrote down the room number. When I got to what I thought was my room the key wouldn't work. Turns out it was room 305 not 302. The 5 could have been read as a 5, 2 or 7. It was frustrating trying to find the right room especially since there is no 302. Other then that all great.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Close to shopping, restaurants and the I-5. Clean, quite room and friendly front desk staff. Fresh cookies every evening! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is the best. They upgraded us to a suite which is beautiful and spacious for our 2 week stay. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have had in our many travels. Staff is always ready to help.

Great place! Hot breakfasts, nice rooms and clean overall. Maids dont vacuum every time they clean, but otherwise do a good job. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Nice little hotel. I really liked the breakfast area, it had windows that view the pool. Was very relaxing. I don't remember if there was a fridge or microwave in the room, but they did have a little gym with a treadmill. The breakfast was pretty ok too. No complaints!

2018 Another great stay for a conference at the Convention Center. No Upgrade this time to the suite, but the regular rooms are nice also, clean and well kept up. I was in 394 this visit. Beds are comfortable and I always sleep well here. Parking this time did not seem to be as hard to find as last time, and it is close enough to walk to the convention center so you avoid the parking issues there. Service as always was good. Morning breakfast is sufficient with a few hot items that varied on my two mornings — nice to not have the same exact thing if you are staying multiple days. I would stay here again in the future. 2017 — I recently utilized Best Western's program where they will match your loyalty status at another hotel chain. I am typically a Hilton hotel brands traveler and have earned upgraded status there. However I haven't been able to get very good rates recently with them compared to the past so I started looking at other brands for this conference visit. Best Western had good rates and I saw that they will match loyalty levels so I gave it a try. The form was easy to fill out and submit — less than 24 hours later I was a Gold member with Best Western. I booked my reservation on the spot. I arrived in the evening on my first day and was told I was upgraded to a suite. Front desk was efficient and friendly. I went up to my room (#311) and was surprised at how roomy and bright it was. Nice furnishings.

Location is perfect, cannot ask for a better location. Rooms are clean and well made, which is usual for Best Western. Breakfast is nice as well, however wish there was a bigger selection. Only complaint is the hotel can be like a maze.

Horrible. Front desk staff is very unprofessional and rude. Basically a couple of cheap trashy teenagers who lied to me several times, including about there being a manager on site or not, and almost left me stranded for the night. I would not stay here unless you have to, they may decide to not accept your card with no explanation and turn you away, all while trying to charge YOU a cancellation fee (mine was a best western credit card that I used to book the room).

Clean hotel room and very nice friendly staffs. Internet is very fast and no problem of connection. When we arrived and fist time use the skin, we notice the sink was jamming and water got down very slow. Otherwise everything else is good.

Love the location of the hotel. Close to shopping and easy freeway access. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast is good. Selection is great and coffee all day is a definite plus. The dining room, atrium is especially nice. Although I did not use the pool or hot tub (did not have time). It is nice that its outside to enjoy on a sunny day.

Excellent for a late night arrival and early AM departure on I-5/405. Breakfast was healthy and plentiful. It did look as if pool and jacuzzi might have been nice, but no time. Staff was extremely accommodating.

Very good, quiet and clean. I expected something more dated, but it exceeded my expectations. Good breakfast and convenient location (at least if you have rental like I did). Overall, good stay.

BW took care of us from the moment of check in till check out. The room was spacious and very clean! We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit.

For the price it is a clean comfortable hotel. Not located anywhere special but close enough if you want to make day trips into Seattle. We stayed because we had a late night arrival in Seatac and couldn't drive home on eastern time. It did the trick. I would give it 3.5 but for the price it is a good value.

All I gotta say is that, my husband and I had the best stay at this hotel. All the ladies that work there that we came in contact with were SUPER nice and pleasant. We enjoyed everything about this hotel!

This hotel has always provided us with an excellent service and the stay is memorial each and every time. It has become our chosen hotel for the Seattle area and will continue to stay here in the future. Staff are wonderful!

I love staying at Best Western Hotels when I can. I can count on the fact that they are clean and straight forward. I love the full breakfast in the morning so I don't have to stop on my way to a appointment. The staff is always willing to help with any request and the beds are always comfortable. In other Hotels I usually bring my own pillow and blanket. The bed is most important especially when you have aches and pains. I like that I can gain reward points for a free stay in the future. Best Western is the "Best in the West".

We had a wonderful stay… great friendly staff… beautiful décor for the holidays… and a full, wonderful breakfast each morning… and nice hot coffee available all the time!

We stay at this hotel to take our son to appointments at Seattle Children's Hospital that usually require one night. Its always clean. The breakfast is one of the better I've had at a hotel. The staff is always pleasant. I love the easy access to the freeway. The price cannot be beat for everything I need. Will stay here every time!

The location of this hotel is very convenient. Easy access to the highway and close to most shopping centers within 15 to 20 minutes driving. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Not only offered us earlier check-in at arrival, but free room upgrade option as a member of BW rewards. My room was very quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet was very well made with many selections. I don't usually give 5 stars on my reviews, but I cannot think of any negative out of my experience with this hotel.

Our "go to" place to stay when we're in Seattle. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff who go out of their way for the guests. Large, clean rooms make for a comfortable stay. The included breakfast is simple fare with minimal variety for those who stay more than a couple of days. But the food is good — some choices for everyone. Lots of amenities nearby — from restaurants to shopping malls. And easy access to both Highway 99 and Interstate 5 for travel to other areas of Seattle.

Pretty good hotel with some nice rooms. I stayed for many nights. Suite rooms are excellent while standard rooms are nothing but basic. Breakfast is very good with great variety. Friendly staff members all throughout the hotel. Upper management can be a little rude and unwilling to work with you depending on the manager. Overall 4 out of 5*. Easy improvements and it would be a perfect 5. Would recommend and will stay again.

Have stayed here a few times. It is excellent value for a place to stay after shopping or attending a baseball game. Excellent beds. In all the rooms I have been associated assigned.

We really enjoy staying at Best Western Motels when we travel as compared to any others. Having the continental breakfast saves time and money and is always very good. Thank you Best Western!

This is by far the best hotel I have been to. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Services are so friendly and the staff is pleasant and very accommodating.

We enjoyed the motel, it's attractive and pleasant. The shower wall appeared to be lacking in cleanliness. When the shower wall is "wet, " the "grout" on the shower wall appeared to have a brown crusty accumulation. Could it be an accumulation of soap scum and dead body cells that one washes off during showers? If so, these are ideal conditions for bacterial growth. Grout is porous, and absorbs water, soap and cells. Does this condition exist in every shower in the bldg.?

Miriam was the employee I was greeted by, who helped me book my room, and also who checked me in. Without me even having to ask, she offered to assist me on searching for a basic room at the next nearest Best Western. At the time, all basic rooms were currently booked at Alderwood location and I had a budget to stay under, and she made multiple calls inquiring on availability on my behalf. She then took the time to look online for me to find the best online rate/discount, and was able to find and secure a room that accomodated my needs and at a great price! As someone with a 10yr. Career in the hospitality industry, the best part of the customer service I received was that Miriam had a genuine smile and genuine positive attitude throughout the entire process and was attentive, caring, and made my overall stay a memorable experience. I made sure to compensate her for the exceptional service and she personally called my room to thank me for the tip I had left her, which meant the world to me. Thank you Miriam, and I look forward to booking at Alderwood Best Western in the future.

The Best Western Alderwood hotel is one of my favorite hotels. The hotel is Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, rate was good. Breakfast was great, food quality very good. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficiently in a Check in scene. The hotel is right off the I-5 area, easy to travel. All very good! thanks. I will visit again and recommend it to a friend.

We stay at this location frequently as our son and his family live nearby. We thoroughly enjoy our stays, and will continue to frequent this location. The only suggestion we have is this: We would like to see Best Western invest in upgrading the towels in their guest rooms. Other than that, we are "over the moon" happy!.

The room was nice except for the bathroom. Very little space. Door hit the bathtub. Other than that, the front desk personnel we're very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. For a one night stay, overall, the expierence was good.

The hotel is well located and the room itself is nice. The biggest gripe I have is the bathroom. It's too tiny to be comfortable. The counter is decent size but the sink is on the left and the remaining counter space is great. However the toilet blocks the usage of the counter and if you want to change into your clothes with the bathroom door closed you'll whack your elbow on the door or the shower curtain.

We stayed in room 218 and it was an updated room, pretty big (2 queen beds) and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast spread was good (waffles, yogurts, cereal, pastries, eggs, bacon, milk, coffee, juices, whipped cream, fruit and much more). The staff was very friendly as well. If we are ever back in Seattle, my family and I will definitely stay here again.

Nice people, clean, has a small pool and hot tub, decent breakfast, close to many things, and decently priced compared to all other places around where we need to be. This is our hotel for next time we are in this area ;-)

The hotel was very reasonable in accommodating my guests.

Worst stay I have ever had. The customer service is terrible. I could literally hear the person above me going to the bathroom. In addition, we were placed in a room right next to the elevator and we could hear it every time someone used it. When I went down to complain, the girl argued with me and basically told me it was my fault.

It is a nice hotel. My only complaint is that we are traveling with family and they did not get us rooms next to each other like we had asked.

We booked ahead for 3 nights. It is priced so so. It was mostly clean except there was an opened, partially empty bottle of wine in our cupboard when we arrived. The room was spacious. Service was ok. People were polite. My sister's room, which was booked same time as ours, was not ready. She never got the one she requested and got an inferior one. Breakfast was pretty much bacon and eggs. They did have waffles. I can't eat eggs or dairy (and don't eat bacon — it's not that healthy! ) so didn't have much to eat at their breakfast, since waffles have egg in them. Wish they had potatoes. They tried to over charge me. I called them on it and they fixed it. :-/ I would stay again because of the convenient location, and bc there is a neat little Mexican place to eat right across the street. But I'd watch carefully and make sure to check everything and not expect too much.

Wow! So I called to reserve a room and the management HAS DOUBLED THE RATES! UNBELIEVABLE! I have traveled on the road for the past 25 years and I always stay there. But not anymore!

Easy access, laid back. Nice neighborhood. Plenty of dining choices around. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Sorry, check-in is at 4pm and there are no clean rooms available. Oh, but let me go ahead and check-in the 5 people BEHIND you and accommodate their requests for room changes and such. Gotta love the awesome customer service and hospitality. Wish Lynnwood had more hotel accommodations…

Travelling soldier here. First of all this is an economic hotel, if you want something fancier go to Best Western PREMIUM or any of the high class hotels in Seattle. Very friendly front desk employees. Spacious clean rooms. The Bed was absolutely comfortable. Now I've seen some complaints from other users here and I assume the issues were resolved like not having enough breakfast options (best economic breakfast I've had has been at best western. ) and the "noisy pipes" someone mentioned is not a big deal, just a little bit in the bathroom but as he said you could get a room on the top floor if this is a big issue to you.

Renovated hotel that just slightly missed the mark. Very close to freeway and outdoor mall. Overly bulky furniture pieces that take up quite a bit of walking space. Very firm bed with ample bed coverings. Plastic bed cover makes you sweat through the night. Whole hotel and room look updated but then bathroom looks as if it's still stuck in the past. Very narrow bath tub and curved shower rod was installed along the lining of the tub so it felt even smaller which defeats the purpose of the curve. Friendly front desk. Housekeeping needs more training. Didn't have a nice and clean room second day. Messy bedding, bathroom was not cleaned, and we were provided with dirty toilet paper that looked like it got soaked with chemicals. Breakfast plate full of bacon and eggs were not taken and left in the room when we got back. Whole room smelt gross. Felt as if they figured they could slack off since we had already been here a night. Another guest across from us told us they didn't receive any service at all. They were livid after a long day and went off on the front desk agent (but it totally wasn't her fault). Bathroom is completely unimpressive. My toddler was actually scared to shower because of the noises the pipes make when the water runs. Can also hear the same noise coming from neighbors shower. Breakfast was lacking in "hot" options; were expecting pancakes or waffles, etc. Only eggs and bacon were available and dry/cold options. Free laundry.

They double charged us, then it takes 5 days for the money to be put back in our account. Not happy. That was part of our vacation money.

This hotel is just a few miles from home and we stay here any time we have issues at home… power outage, repairs, etc. The staff works with us for great rates. The rooms are clean with some modern updates. Easy freeway access and close to shopping and restaurants.

Look, it is what it is… a low price hotel close to the interstate. But don't let the low rates and older façade fool you. The place is very clean. Both stays, my room was nearly immaculate and comfortable. I highly recommend this place for travelers or visitors looking to save some coin and have a clean, comfortable place to crash.

Good hotel for the area. I stayed here every time I had to instead of (low) budget orientated chains because of the good rates, good rooms, cleaness and amenities. I'll definitely go again.

When we showed up our room wasnt even ready, they "upgraded" our room to a jacuzzi suite and it was hardly an upgrade. The jacuzzi tub was visible from the bed and it was awkward. The breakfast wasnt that great, either.

Neat, quaint hotel, with very nice employees, however the lady at the front desk when we first checked in didn't seem too welcoming. We had originally booked a room for 3 people by getting 1 king bed, as there were rollaway beds available. However, when we got there, they said there were no rollaway beds and they even demanded charging extra since we had 3 people, not 2!

Be careful to hand your credit card /bank card over at front desk of this Hotel. They will steal your $ even you prepaid in advance… I got charged twice for one night stay here. Have to make long distance call to fix the problem. a lady called back and told me they will refund immediately, 3 days passed, the manager told me there are no record in system, so Have to present the bank note and prepaid booking note, the manager replied my email told me it is another hotel in same area… if you like troubles and double charges, this is the Best Waste Time Inn. I will follow up until the problem fixed… Bad experience ever! got refund after 1 week. Spent 2 hours totally = waste time…

First time staying at the Best Western Alderwood. And my wife and I will certainly stay there again. The facility was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and competent. Our room was very clean with nice furnishings. The continental breakfast was very good. Best scrambled eggs we've eaten in a long time. The breakfast area, serving counters were very clean and well maintained by the staff. This hotel is a bargain compared to other hotels/motels in the area. And much nicer.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, during which a Bridge convention was going on next door at the convention center, making for a very full hotel. The suite was dated, but very clean (the only thing that wasn't clean was the carpet, which was very dirty and spotted) and comfortable. We enjoyed the space and having two bathrooms. Breakfast was a joke: frozen or very cold mini muffins/rolls, every long wait for waffles if you wished them, juice selection poor. Loved being able to use the pool, but staff did not tell me that I just had to remove the cover on the spa to use it; I thought it was closed. I would recommend this hotel as the service was exceptional, the rooms clean, staff QUITE when cleaning. We enjoyed our stay here, visited the huge Alderwood Mall, dining places around the hotel, but not so much the long trip to Carnation, where our nephew's wedding was held on Saturday. This was worth the money.

Read all: GM's response is the best. I WOULD NOT STAY at the Best Western Alderwood in Lynnwood, WA again beacause the staff and maintenance people weren't helpful. We were in room 193. First off the pool was outside the window. That was better than we thought. The room came equipped with gnats. They were aware of this issue and waited until 9am on Monday to see if this issued cleared up or not. Then the worst part of all, is that the floor above us creeked so much when the guest walked or jumped on it. It was unbearable. It was one of those nails on a chalkboared type sound. The first night we dealt with it. The second night I went to the desk at 11:30pm and complained. Wanted her to come listen to the Hoorrific noise but she wasn't interested in doing so. She told me me to wait it out awhile as they just checked in upstairs. We knew that. They checked in around 10:15pm, 12:15am they were in bed and they were up again by 7a. Two nights of no sleep. I paid over 200 to stay in a hotel that I couldn't sleep in. As my 16 old Daughter said, "would have stayed at a Motel 6 for 1/2 that price and got just as much if not more sleep. I have always slept better than this at Motel 6" Nobody cared. When I left nobody asked me how my stay was or even apologized for the fact that I had a problem the night befoe. Today I went on to look at BW hotels and found this on Alderwoods site: We are upgrading to serve you better.

Avoid like the plague. Front desk clerk is deceptive. Reservations are always screwed up. I got the impression they're trained this way from manager at this motel. Noise from guests walking is heard readily unless you're on the top floor (only stay on the top floor if you must). Otherwise, you won't be able to sleep. Plumbing is very loud too. There is no high speed Wi-Fi. If proposed FCC regulations are approved, this place would not legally be allowed to misrepresent their internet as high speed. However, the stand-alone internet terminal in the lounge is fast. The only good thing about this place is the breakfast. BTW, I bet Corporate has no idea the shenanigans the front desk and reservation staff do including denying that there any noise issues. At breakfast, everyone (more than 1/2 dozen families) expressed the same concern to me when I asked them. Once again, I suspect this is how the staff are trained. Besides, when an employee winks at you while seemingly telling you the truth and finding out it was lie, you know there's something up. Of course, if they (employee) values their job they can't be upfront and say anything negative. Except one staff member who shall remain anonymous — — to protect this employee from termination. And that's what makes this motel so bad. Stay elsewhere, even La Quinta not here. One more thing: be careful of the stellar and positive reviews especially here. People do get PAID to post positive reviews. Don't let anyone say otherwise.

The front desk staff at this hotel are so rude. I cannot believe that Leazette is a front desk manager. She doesn`t know one thing about customer service. I booked 2 beds on expedia, but the hotel gave me a king bed. I asked if I could have 2 double beds, but she said no sorry you booked through expedia there is nothing I can do for you. If you want that room you need to pay $10 extra a night. A king is worth more money, so I am not sure why I would need to pay $10.00 extra a night. Because I booked on expedia they wouldn`t help me with anything. Our toilet didn`t work at 3:30am, so we needed to have someone come up to fix it. The only thing good about this hotel is that they have a good breakfast. Will not stay at this hotel again because of the way we were treated.

I had recently stayed at a different Best Western. So, I thought this one would be comparable. Nothing was comparable. The service was nothing special. Not super nice at the other one and they didn't tell me that they were going to charge my card for much more than I should have paid. It was fixed but it was unexpected. The room was horrible compared to the other Best Western. I was on the top floor and it was ROASTING. I realized that, unlike the room I had before, there was no AC. I opened the window. The TV was a small tube TV. The rest of the room was mediocre. In 90 degree weather, I should be sure to have a room that has AC. I just assumed that Best Westerns were fairly similar to each other. They're not! But, I liked the breakfast.
