Despite what other reviews say, we had a good stay. Room was clean, grounds were up kept, pool and hot tub is nice. They even have gas grills to cook on, could be updated, but they are there and they work. Proprietors were nice. Would stay there again.

This is not a fancy place. However, The rooms are well-maintained, it was very clean and my bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. That's all I need in a motel.

I don't even know where to begin. Would give 0 stars if I could. We pulled into the driveway and were greeted by scruffy old men peering in our car window with flashlights asking if we had reservations. Off the bat it seemed like they had a problem with anyone who wanted to stay at their dingy establishment. What kind of a hotel makes you feel like the criminal on Live PD before you step out of your vehicle (literally shinning a flashlight in our eyes). Once parked, we made our way to the front desk to check in. Instead of a welcoming smile, we were greeted with attitude like I've never experienced before from the front desk attendant. It seemed she did not want to be bothered while on the clock. The front desk attendant was apparently suppose to give us wrist bands (according to their parking lot thugs), but we were never told about wrist bands, nor were we given any during our check in process. These parking lot guys (I honestly don't know what their job was other than to shine flashlights in your eyes upon entry/argue with you) became combative and told us there is no way we wouldn't have gotten wristbands at check in. When we contested that statement, they started arguing with the front desk attendant about their policies right in front of us (Very unprofessional… Take that BS to the back room and take care of your customers). At this point we don't feel comfortable staying here. We didn't even enter the room, and decide to find another place to say.

Honestly, have never experienced a more incompetent staff before in my life granted I am only 30 but I would be very surprised if another experience with the "HOSPITALITY" industry tops that. from the first moment of stepping into the office, the staff couldn't have been for combative as if it were run by the bad guy from the movie Deliverance themselves. They then proceeded to spend the next 5 min tripping over themselves arguing with us as well as each other about policy contradicting each other the whole time. finally, we decided to leave at which point they refused to refund us if you ever want to relive all the uncomfortable scenes from Deliverance, and you know the one I'm talking about definitely check this place out if that's not your speed spend a little bit more to have a 1000% better experience.

If your looking to save a few dollars on a decent motel, DONT USE THIS ONE. I stayed here a few weekends back, booked a room online for 4 people, when we arrived they refused to allow more than 2 people in the room and we were told the other 2 members of our party would have to book another room if they truly needed a place to stay. We were immediately treated as criminals at a prison rather than guests at an establishment of which we paid for. I knew the room quality would be a bit lower due to the price, which I was fine with. What I wasn't fine with was the unbelievably strong cigarette smell in our room. Later in the trip we turned in a dirty blanket, never received one back, as I went to check my account after leaving they ended up charging me for this blanket stating "their staff is small and would never forget to place one back so I must have lost it". It is 85 degrees out, I am not stealing any blankets. I was even escorted to my room by security one night because as he stated "I am out late and he did not know what I was up to". I am a full grown adult, I do not need an escort to my room. We ended up spending more money per person due to having to purchase another room. I will never stay at this establishment again nor would suggest anyone else should. Spend a tad bit more money to actually enjoy a real hotel.

Worst hotel experience of my life. I’d give it — 10 stars if I could. My friend booked a room for memorial day weekend the lady on the phone told him that they can sleep up to 5 people. When we arrived they were rude off the bat and — my two friends and I arrived first and they informed us it can only sleep two and no other rooms are available; he told them the lady on the phone said otherwise and they said she would never say that we asked if they had another room open and they did not we decided we’d find another place for the other members of our group and got in the car as instructed to park on the other side of the pharking lot closer to our room, the A-hole in the parking lot stood in front of the car and wouldn’t let us proceed he then shined a flashlight into our car and said where is the third we told them the lady in the office has directed him that he could use the bathroom he then began to argue with her about not letting someone back without a wristband we said we did not have them and we’re never offered wristbands they then got a third lady from the office who came out and said that we were lying we were offered wristbands and declined which no sense why would I pay over $500 for memorial day weekend and refuse wristbands to get into my hotel they then kicked us out and said you guys are done they wouldn’t let us leave the parking lot and continue to block it I had to back out and leave as my other friends arrived in the second car confused.

Great place for the price. Pretty basic rooms, but you're in a lake town with plenty to do. You really just need a safe, clean, and convenient place to sleep, get ready, and keep your things. Great customer service!

I liked this hotel in general. Good location and clean rooms. The staff were wonderful. Everything was fine except the ventilation in the room. It was really hot even though outside was cooler weather. Ended up running the air all night.

I love to stay here (as long as I am not teying to impress a guest) when I visit my home town. The prices are almost always low, especially off season, and for the price, its a cozy stay. The fridge is made in the stone age and probably won't work, but the electronics seem to be updated. Cleaning staff are obviously rushed, as the place seems hardly wiped down, but its $56 per night during winter in the most beautiful little town in the entire state. Four stars hands down for that alone. I honestly appreciate this cozy cheap little vacant gem.

This place gets half a star for super friendly staff (and cat), and another half star for proximity to downtown, cleanliness (well, as clean as they can get it, considering), hot shower, and flushing toilet. The rest would get negative stars from me, if it were an option. My husband and I had the misfortune of staying here for two nights in mid-September because pretty much everywhere else was sold out. Let's begin: this place is old and dated with much deferred maintenance throughout. The wood paneling on the ceiling with exposed beams was a modern-romantic touch, but the orangey fence-top planks on the upper two feet of walls all around was a definite 70's overkill. Linoleum was peeling on the bathroom floors in our unit, shower constantly dripped and had a good deal of calcium buildup to impair water flow, shower drain cover was cracked and falling into the drain, and the caulk between floor and wall tiles was dried out and crumbling. The entry door is hollow and provides zero noise dampening from the outside parking lot and busy road. We could hear cars zipping by and people talking and arguing in the parking lot all night long, both nights. The office closed at 11pm sharp, so there was no one to complain to about it. And then the bed… WORST. Bed.

Loved this place. Stayed here while visiting Chelan. Was surprised to find wood paneling in my room. It was a romantic touch.

The pool is perfect for me and the only things that are missing room service and a bigger sink.

Very clean and confortable room, good service and good location. Only drawback was the stairway to the second floor. Hard for we old women to navigate with our luggage.

Kinda what you expect from an older motel in a smaller town. The staff were super nice from booking to checking in. Wi-Fi was okay but occasionally spotty probably due to the cinder block construction. The beds were probably the worst part. You could feel the springs and not much cushion. The place was reasonably clean. I'd consider it for an overnight when heading towards another destination but not for any longer. The pool looked fine if you had kids.

I was shocked to find the wood paneling in my room just like the pictures showed on the website. Very cozy place for a very low price. Also has a hot tub and swimming pool. Was nice as it was 90+ outside.

Stayed for business. Staff friendly and courteous. Room rate great for the summer season. Nice tv, clean and larger room than expected for age of motel. O would stay here again.

The location was great. The Rooms were reasonably sized and the fridge, and microwave are solid. The heater/ac worked really well. The hot water took quite a while to warm up though. I'll be sure to go again if I'm near the area.

It's not fancy but how small and cute the whole property/rooms are make up for it 110%

It was clean and charming. It's had everything I needed and I really enjoyed the community too.

This is the perfect Country Inn. Modest pricing, hospitable staff and clean rooms. Whether my clients from out of town or renters out of their homes for insurance work; this facility has never disappointed. It is hard competing against the mega franchise hotels we have become accustomed to while traveling; however, when stepping back into the casual Chelan vacation spot, it is nice to be in a clean family Inn. And what is not to love to be next to the favorite breakfast spot the Apple Cup!

Awesome place great stay.

We stayed at the Apple Inn Motel on January 4 and 5, 2013. We had never stayed there before, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was excellent meeting all our requests and going out of their way to help us. The room was very well appointed for the price and was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were so happy with the accommodations that we'll stay here again and again when visiting Chelan.

Had the opportunity to stay here during the spring. Price was acceptable. Walls are a bit thin though. Had to listen to the neighbors having a bit of a wild time. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good Value for the money.
