We had Fish and Chip all I can say it was Excellent and amazing service. Great Atmosphere and very Cozy! Dessert was just fabulous.

Such a beautiful setting any time of year. Campbells checks the box for all expectations. It was super quiet, the rooms were spotless, and the view was spectacular. Would highly recommend this to everyone. Love love love.

The Best Place To Stay In Chelan We just returned home from a week in Chelan and a fabulous stay at Campbells Resort. We had two Deluxe King rooms that had beautiful views and many wonderful amenities. Spacious, clean and comfortable describes the rooms. Super comfy beds and quiet rooms — I slept wonderfully. The mini kitchen is great for plating and prepping items from The Lakeview Drive In (you must have their French Fries with Mack Seasoning), Starbucks (Lemon Pound Cake and coffee in the morning) or takeout from the hotel restaurant (beer battered fish and chips) to enjoy on your Lani. Housekeeping did a great job keeping things fresh and clean. We enjoyed days of golf (Bear Mountain Ranch, Desert Canyon, Lake Chelan Golf Course) followed by appetizers and pre-dinner cocktails in the room overlooking the lake then a fine dinner at the best place to eat in town — the Campbell’s Pub and Veranda Yes, there is a new Chef and the menu has REALLY changed and I DO miss the Apple Orchard Ice Cream and Campbells Country Chicken as well as other long time favorites but times are changing and I suppose I must too. I suppose — unfortunately. If you are looking for a wonderful resort at Lake Chelan there simply is NO better place than Campbells. Great rooms, beautifully landscaped grounds, awesome resort amenities, a very good restaurant and a wonderfully friendly staff all add up to a Great Stay. I am looking forward to returning next year and many more thereafter.

They lost our reservation on a sold out weekend. We were in town for my fiancé’s bday and a wedding cake tasting. We stayed in a room next to the laundry facility across the street that looks like it’s reserved for maintenance workers the first night. I will say, they hooked us up with a ground level room for free the next day but the emotional toll Friday night took on us was rough. It ruined what was supposed to be a special weekend.

We stayed in lodge 1. Our room was very clean and had a king bed, fireplace, and kitchenette (fridge, microwave) plus a wonderful view of the lake. We went in late January so it wasn't crowded. It was quiet. We would stay at Campbell's again.

Restaurant menu is is bad. Taste is mediocre at best. Too bad, I use to love going there. They still make a mean cadillac margarita though. NO hamburgers and fries, really?

We ordered the turkey for 2 box for Thanksgiving and it was exceptional! From the easy online ordering, to John calling for payment and pick up time, the friendly and helpful guys at the pick up window, the thoughtful and beautiful presentation of the menu and my name on the bag and of course the most yummy Thanksgiving dinner, we are so glad we did this. The crab crakes were delicious (and should be added to your regular menu! ) Thank you for making our holiday wonderful!

Great service in the pub! My fish-n-chips were great. The hubby had a Happy Hour cheeseburger & he enjoyed it.

Glad to be here after a 60 year absence. The family friendly nature of this 120-year-old hotel does not change. With a beautiful location right next to the old downtown, it is sharing piece of history at the perfect place for a relaxing summer getaway.

We made a reservation in advance only to get to the restaurant to find they had only one table left to sit at. Normally fine, except they had “live music” starting an hour and fifteen minutes later, so they pushed all the tables closer together… to the point our friends and us had a difficult time fitting into the space! The back of my chair rested against the back of the person behind me the entire meal, as neither of us had a comfortable meal. We asked them. To pay your prices and consider Campbell’s a nice place in town to eat, I think a customer could expect more than eight inches of chair space from the tables edge! Thank God there wasn’t a fire, I was trapped! It ruined the entire meal for me and our guest! Never again!

Second trip here. Such a wonderful place to relax at the end of the season. Of course it'll pick up here for the winter skiing, and all the other snow sports. A great restaurant on site too with fresh local vegetables and seafood. Everyone was very kind and courteous. Thank you Campbell's Resort!

It’s a beautiful place with a rich history. The beds weren’t the best but everything else is amazing!

Overall this a great place, beautiful and fun but there needs to be improvement with management. There needs to be online booking, it took 3 calls to receive an email confirmation of my booking. Also they need a better system of checking balls out, the water volleyball court was a great time. Some technological and management improvements would go a long way. The staff was very friendly in person and over the phone and it creates a great family atmosphere.

Resort is very spacious, lots of things to do — pools, water toys, lake stuff, etc. Rooms are very dated. We stayed in a cabin — bathrooms were very small, pull out sofa bed circa 1970… Cabin does have BBQ and small furnished kitchen. Easy access to other restaurants and shops.

I have been going to Campbell's for breakfast since I was 11, that's almost 20 years. They used to have breakfast downstairs, then they moved it to their upstairs area. Their waitresses have always been on point and I've had the same one for around 10-15 years. She has always been a fantastic waitress. They did just revamp the menu and changed the orange french toast to banana french toast and it seems that it's more expensive than before. I was super disappointed so I got regular french toast and my wife got the banana. She didn't care for the banana and I miss the orange taste of their french toast. Also, the coffee is super expensive. 3.50? C'mon…

This place is fantastic! The food is incredible and the staff were amazing. We had a table outside on the patio but it got chilly for a few people in our group — they brought out blankets so we didn't have to move. It was one person's birthday and we got a complimentary dessert. All-in-all terrific evening out. Hope I get the chance to stay here (not get enjoy dinner)

I really had a wonderful time but it was mostly because of the company I was in. The location has a beautiful view, I loved the hot tub, but the grounds are dirty and old. It really needs some TLC. T he hallways were not well lit and pretty cold and spooky. The room had a really good space and small kitchen space and that was awesome. The deck was nice. Overall I would visit again hands down but I hope to see some renovations in the future.

Stayed here a few times now, and each time has been fantastic. Staff is super friendly, its quiet, peaceful and your able to sit back and just relax and have a good time. Almost everything is within walking distance of the resort. And have great golf courses and hiking just minutes outside of town. Anytime going forward I will stay here when I go to the area.

Great resort! Rooms are very nice and large, and ours was updated recently with very nice furnishings. We went to the pub restaurant on the last morning there… excellent food and Rosa and the entire staff there were extremely helpful! Great reception, housekeeping and grounds staff as well. My only regret is that we hadn't returned sooner (we were last here some 28 years ago… won't let that happen again! ).

Excellent location on the lake and in heart of downtown. Helpful staff. Large, comfortable rooms and bedding. Loved it! Just wish they were pet friendly.

We were very excited to try this place for a late breakfast / brunch but found the food decent at best. Between the 4 of us we tried 4 different menus items as well as an appetizer to start but not impressed at all. The sandwich I had was pretty bland no flavours jumped out at me same with my husbands. We ate upstairs on a nice sunny day so was nice to look down and people watch, but really wished it was more open or had a patio. We will most likely not come back as Chelan has tons of top notch breakfast spots like the apple Cafe.

Overpriced. People loved it there because they've been going their entire lives. It's been around forever. I just just care so much negative feedback on the food and customer service in the restaurant area. However, the male bartender who's tall, is super awesome and probably the best bartender in town. It's a prime location.

First, the ambiance is wonderful. Great music and people watching. The service is fantastic — they call me ‘Miss’ rather than ‘Mam’ which I adore. The food is delicious — I had the salmon burger and highly recommend it. Great portion sizes! To finish, my cocktail was the absolute best Long Island I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few) order the Duchess of Long Island and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Campbell’s for the lovely experience.

Highly recommend staying here. Absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. Food at the restaurant was amazing, Mother's Day brunch was great as well. Definitely coming back for my anniversary. Only issue was the one waiter in the bar. First he didn't even hear my grandma's order of Wine, second he was very rude and seemed like he couldn't be bothered by us. Otherwise this was a great Mother's Day weekend with my mom and grandma.

Picture perfect location with all of the basic amenities you need to never really have to leave the periphery. Barbecues, pools, sand games, walk to grocery store, restaurants, bars, and shops. A little dated but no other location beats it and the grounds are absolutely immaculate.

Been here many times over the years for group events and for family get aways. Walking distance to pretty much anything you need. Great place to wake up and fall asleep in. Love it!

Cute little place overlooking the main drag. Had the Steak and Frites. The steak was VERY good. The Fries were incredible and the sauces that came with them were very flavorful. I enjoyed the whole meal!

Excellent restaurant and bar right on Lake Chelan. Happy hour prices and meals are a good deal. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable visit.

My husband and I spent the night here in early March. The room was very nice and the staff are all friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Two stars only because it is clean and has super friendly staff. The beds and pillows are terrible, we woke up with crabby backache. It is close to the street so don't expect any quiet time.

You just can’t go wrong at Campbell’s. It’s beautiful and amazing in summer or winter. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and you can’t get much closer to the lake. The staff is always helpful and nice and it’s within walking distance to some fun bars. I’ve been for corporate retreats, group trips and couples get always and never been disappointed with Campbell’s.

We went here for our anniversary which is on the off season. They where doing a little maintenance and we had a small issue with the room we where in. When we let them know they where very helpful and immediately moved us to a new (upgraded) room and even sent staff to help us move our stuff. Beautiful view, friendly staff and amazing resteraunt.

Amazing view from every room, friendly customer service, and great food. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with plenty of counter space around the bathroom sink. Unfortunately, my stay was during December so I didn't get to enjoy the lake or the outdoor hot tub, but I'm sure it'd be amazing during the summer!

The accommodations are very comfortable, room has lots of open space and is updated. Food and drinks at the Veranda Pub are great! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and drink specials gave us lots of options. We will definitely be coming back in the summertime!

An old resort and restaurant living off the reputation they made for themselves over 20 years ago. The go to formal dining place in Chelan. Unfortunately I have never had a meal there that was worth what I paid. When I order a $35 dollar steak cooked medium rare, I don't expect overcooled show leather and a disappearing waiter. He lucky he didn't come back and ask how my steak was.

The Pub and Veranda has the best Happy Hour in town. $2.50 Rainier's $4 micros, and great food deals. Service is top notch.

One of the best places to stay in Chelan. Beds are comfortable and clean. The views of Lake Chelan are breathtaking. Service at front desk was great. They treated us politely and were informative about the Chelan area. Have a restaurant too with really good food but a little spendy. Hot tub in the back or a spa to get massages across the street. Just a good all around place to stay, highly recommend!

The room was very nice. Our view from the balcony was breathtaking. We ate dinner and breakfast at the resort. Huge portions for the price. Everything was tasty. I was surprised with a Birthday cake, balloons, and an apple cider, wine glasses basket as well. Definitely a favorite place to recommend to friends and family.

Dated but very clean place in a great location. Staff are cleaning all the time. Photos are nostalgic dating back 30+ years from their beginning as a destination location.

The location is beautiful, there is a view of the water right outside of our large patio. The rooms are spacious and well designed. There is no room service but there is a cleaning service. It is not smoking or pet friendly. The water is hot and plentiful for showering. The food is very expensive around here.

Family style resort that harkins back to 60s and 70s. Enough fun things to do within the grounds — swimming in lake or pool, paddle boarding, water volleyball, sun bathing, kayaking, people watching. There are a number of gas grills across the grounds with picnic tables nearby if you want an alternative to eating out. There is a Safeway across the street as well as a Starbucks. The downtown area is just adjacent to the resort for easy access to restaurants and other businesses. Rooms could use a little maintenance and updating, but overall, Campbell's is great for families of all ages.

Rooms very clean and spacious and accommodated us easily. Pool and lake area clean, with ample amount of chaise lounges and floaties to choose from. Multiple amenities including paddle boarding and kayaking available. Able to bring our own alcoholic beverages to the lakeside, which was a plus, as long as it wasn't in glass. Come here every summer and wouldn't choose to go elsewhere!

The rooms were cozy, clean, and perfect; the bed was very comfortable. We had a waterfront room and it was beautiful. Amenities and staff were great. The hotel pub/restaurant had good food and drinks. A Safeway is conveniently across the street if you need anything. Also, I left my wedding ring, and the housekeeping staff was wonderful — Maria looked right away and found it, and offered to mail it to me! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a beautiful resort right on the lake! Everybody is very friendly and helpful. What a love is the view of each room. It seems all rooms has view to the lake. You also can bring food and use the gas grills that the hotel has. It is my first time staying here but I thinking to come back soon!

Well, first let me state this review is about 20 years late. We lived in Yakima at the time and being as it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we had the day off, we decided to drive up to Lake Chelan since we never had seen it. Didn't have the time for an overnight stay, but thought well a really nice dinner sounded good. So, we found Campbell's Resort.
The 2 stars is why we have never been back and unfortunately we still talk about how bad the food and the service was. Cold, tasteless, and frozen. Paid a lot of money for simply horrible stuff (Not food! )
It seemed like our server was paying so much attention to everyone else, who seemed like they all were spending more money than us, but that doesn't matter (shouldn't). We felt ignored. Left a very bad taste in our mouths, and minds. Would not recommend you to our friends.
We watched an episode of Hotel Hell with Chef Gordon Ramsey — he did an episode with The Lakeview Hotel in Lake Chelan. It reminded us of our experience at Campbell's.

We stayed at Campbell's for a bachelorette party. The location was great, rooms were lovely and the staff was very accommodating. Had a great time laying by the lake all day.

The location is perfect, Chelan is easily one of the top five prettiest places in Washington. The rooms are above average. The staff is kind and courteous. The resort side of this place is pretty wonderful very well manicured lawns, combed beach, etc… There are tons of nats, also "bro's" are numerous and obnoxious.

Had a catered dinner for a wedding party there. Good was really good, we had need tenderloins vegetables, and all kinds of sides. Staff was attentive and everything went well.

I have been going her for their orange French toast since I was 15… I love it! The waitress now knows my dad and i. They're just super friendly! Oh and I'm 29 now.

The rooms are great for the price! Very good access to the lake and jet ski rentals are cheap. We came on a fraternity formal and it was a great time!

My wife and I made a reservation for a Saturday night in December, planning to do some Christmas shopping and visit relatives there. Unfortunately, the weather turned sour and we had to cancel our trip due to road conditions. Their cancellation policy (in the winter) is 7 days (it is a month in advance if the reservation is over a holiday! ). I called to see if the resort would send us a voucher to use in the future, since we go to Chelan fairly often. I was told no and that the only thing they could do was to rebook the reservation for a set date in the future. I explained that we had no idea when we would be there next but tried to estimate a date when I thought we might be visiting my wife's family, thinking that if I didn't have the date right we would be able to cancel or change it in plenty of time. I was then told that if they rebooked my reservation (even if it is for a year from the time of the original reservation) that it will be non-refundable and can not be changed! So, basically we were charged a night's lodging, despite making every attempt to comply with their policies. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very rude (I was really shocked at how rude she was) and made little to no effort to work with me. I have not had this poor of an experience with a hotel in a long time, and will definitely not ever stay at this resort in the future.

I have been visiting Lake Chelan and Campbell's since I was a child and have continued to come yearly every summer into my adulthood. It's one of my favorite places to get soak up the sun and relax and we always stay at Campbell's. I stayed at Campbell's for my bachelorette party, my best friends wedding, and almost every wedding anniversary of my own. I'm saddened to say, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in regards to customer service, ANYWHERE! We had booked a room for the weekend of August 28th for our anniversary, and due to the fires we cancelled. I still wanted to go, so I watched the webcam and the weather for the following week and we booked for Labor Day weekend. I called and booked the King Deluxe room, which cost $386 a night. When we arrived and went up to our room it was a Queen Deluxe. I called the front desk and explained what was going on, and I was told I must have booked the wrong room and there was nothing else available. I was shocked to hear this considering I have been to Campbell's on Labor Day weekend many times, and the hotel was dead in comparison to other years. The woman who answered the phone and the manager were very rude, and just kept telling me that there must have been a mix up. At the end of our conversation I was offered $20 off per night, which never happened… This hotel is far too expensive to not offer the most amazing customer service possible.

Have stayed here every year for 17 years, always in the same room right next to the beach bar. Great view of the lake and surrounding areas. I just gotta go back every year I love the place.

The room was nice and large with a great view! We were on the 4th floor in Lodge 3, corner unit so it was very quiet and private. Attractive furniture and decor, nice towels and pillows. Food was good from Pub and the couples massage we enjoyed at their Spa was even better! Friendly service all around as well. We'll be back for sure.

Enjoyed everything about the Campbell's Resort! We were on the 10th anniversary excursion, very exciting to stop here on the way to the Grand Coulee Dam.

We recently stayed here while attending a wedding at a winery in Mason. The grounds are spectacularly kept and the view from our room was so refreshing. All of the rooms appear to have a lake view. We were on the 3rd floor of Lodge 4, and while we had to walk up one flight of stairs, we appreciated having the balcony and view from an upper level. The rooms have been recently renovated, and while the hotel has a long history in the area, you couldn't tell by the quality of the room updates. The room even included a full ironing board, iron, mini-fridge, and microwave. This was perfect since it is directly across the street from Safeway. We used the pool and went into the Lake at their beach area. We were there right after Labor Day, which is technically the end of their summer. While we had wanted to do some stand up paddle boards or kayaking, they were putting them away for the winter. If we are ever up in the area again, we would gladly return.

I had a lovely time at Campbell's Resort this past weekend. The room was nicely updated, clean and attractive. The pool and beach front was so fun to enjoy as well! We loved the food at the Pub as well as the bistro, hoping to have an experience at the spa next time! I held back one star simply because I felt the service (at the hotel only, the restaurants were wonderful) wasn't 100% for such a place. There were some a few minor issues and usually at places like this the impeccable service is what sets them apart and drives you back to spend the money at such a resort. Minor issues are no big deal, mistakes happen but when they do the guest should not be made to feel as if it is a hassle for the resort to fix the problem they caused. That was my only drawback but other than that a lovely place we will definitely return to simply for the location, amenities and great family time.

5-12-2014: My Sister, Mother, and I had made reservations months in advance for Mother's Day Weekend. The second night of our stay they held a high school prom on the patio five doors away from our room with loud thumping music until 10pm, then all of the equipment, etc. Was rolled down the ramp by our room for another hour, as well as the loud attendees leaving the event laughing and carrying on. It would have been befitting to have received advance notice at the time of our reservations, or at the very least at check-in, to give us the opportunity to move farther away from the event. To top it off, we did not receive an apology when we called the front desk to find out what the loud music was about nor at check out when we voiced our disappointment. For a "family resort" such as Campbell's it is extremely discouraging. While we had been prepared to return and make it a Mother's Day tradition we will not stay there again. UPDATE 5-15-2014: Because the reservation was under my Mother's name one of the owner's contact her after reading our review and apologized personally, then provided her with a free two night stay. This could have very easily been swept under the carpet and I am impressed with the follow through. We may give them another try next year after all.

This resort is fairly nice. The rooms are VERY clean and very nice. I had no problems with the hotel itself. The pools and hot tubs are open pretty late which was really nice and it is in a good location. HOWEVER, the restaurants are a different story. Do not go to them. The service is absolutely terrible and needs a lot of work. It takes forever to eat and leave and our server never filled our drinks or came back once, the host had to do it. Eating at their restaurants was not a good experience.

Throughly disappointed with the hotels level of customer service. I received a flyer from a local winery in their wedding package. I called Campbells to book 25+ rooms for the wedding using the information off the flyer. The representative said that the price on the flyer was not valid and the price was actually double what the flyer said. There was also a 2 night minimum explained over the phone that there was no mention of on the flyer that I received less than a month ago. Very disappointed in their level of customer service and false advertising tactics.
