I loved this place! The whole grounds and building are beautiful! My husband and I stayed here and had such a fantastic time. Our room was clean and decorated so cozy! We were in the FDR Suite. The breakfasts which the owners make and serve every morning were out of this world! So delicious! Thank you Debbie and John for a great experience! I can not wait to come back!

We were married at the Williamsburg White House, purchasing their elopement package and adding a few days for our "mini-moon. " They were lovely — — going above and beyond to make our day a very special one. We would highly recommend the Williamsburg White House not only for a very small wedding like ours, but for any stay to the Williamsburg area. Our room, the Lincoln bedroom, was very comfy and it was terrific to have his and her baths. My new sister-in-law had the Jefferson bedroom and was enchanted by the furnishings and the historic atmosphere of the inn. The breakfast served everyday was superb! Dan put the frittata second only to the fine meal we had at the La Yuca French restaurant (which was to die for BTW. Anything your order is fabulous). The breakfast menu changes daily. You can elect not to have breakfast, but no idea why anyone would check that option. This was my first time to stay at a B&B. I really enjoyed meeting the other guests, and gathering for an afternoon libation and for breakfast. We plan to return for our anniversary. See you there!

John and Debbie run an exceptional B&B. The location is very convenient, across the street from the William & Mary business school and within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very well kept; the décor is delightfully thoughtful and beautiful; the amenities and service refined; and the hospitality is warm and refreshing. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and the price is very fair. I highly recommend A Williamsburg White House.

We stayed here for our 15 year anniversary last month before the holidays. It was quiet, quaint and cozy. Loved that it was so close to Colonial Williamsburg yet tucked away so you weren't in the congestion of town. The owners were very kind and accommodating for our breakfast needs (vegetarian — which was delicious). We stayed in the FDR suite. It was clean and comfortable with great decor. I made a mistake in booking and was one night off, and though we were unable to change our plans, the owners let us gift the one night to some friends who lived close by. (Note: Double check your dates! )

Nice place, but tilts toward an older clientele. Also, in the front room of the house, they've created some kind of altar about Bill Clinton's affair. Strange.

Absolutely fantastic! Owners are welcoming and the decor is perfect! Great location, clean, and super cozy! Would recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I was prepared to leave a five star review up until the morning we were having breakfast. The host ruined the experience by flipping out about me borrowing two spoons from the breakfast area the night before so we could eat some ice cream late at night. He lectured me in front of the other guests about taking spoons from a set table and said I should have woke him up at 2 am to ask for spoons instead. Other than that his absurd rudeness our stay was very enjoyable. The hostess was very nice.

Debbie and John were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious! We stayed in the Lincoln Room which has a his/hers bathroom and a comfy king size bed. Everything was super clean and the location is very ideal. It is located right across from the College of William and Mary and walking distance from Colonial Williamsburg. My husband and I LOVE this place. For many reasons, more than one. 3 years ago my husband (boyfriend at the time) bought a groupon here to surprise me. The food was excellent, the room was amazing. There were no complaints. 2 years ago we had our wedding there. We reserved the whole place for immediate family and had a wonderful time. It ended up being a warm day in February and we ended up getting married right outside the front door. My family enjoyed all the breakfast and we still wish we could all make that oatmeal she made us. We are military and received new orders to Washinngton state but when we come back we deifntley want to stay here again. Thank you for everything.

This B&B is a little piece of heaven. The room was first class, lovely grounds, each breakfast was better than the last. The house lends itself to friendly chats with other travellers over a glass of wine & cookies. The location is across from William & Mary University and very walkable to Colonial Williamsburg. We stayed 3 wonderful days in the FDR suite this past week. The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend last year and we loved it. We were in the Thomas Jefferson room, which is really nice and quiet. It even has its own entrance. My favorite part of our stay was breakfast. Honestly the best breakfast food ive ever had. In the evenings they put out wine and cookies or brownies. I looked forward to that at the end of each day. The owners were very kind and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated and a perfect escape for our getaway. We were also close enough to the restaurants, shops and historic attractions to walk to them. The only complaint I have is the shower was not warm enough.

We made plans to stay by choosing it online, fantastic decision! Having never been to the area. We spent 4 nights being Mr. And Mrs. Jefferson in March. While there we got married and they accommodated us very well. Thanks.

This place talks itself up like a Hilton, but it feels more like a two star days inn, that forces you to get up at 9 in the morning. Why you ask? Here are just a few things we had to deal with during our stay 1) Showers either burn you or freeze you, seriously old school plumbing. If your paying anything above $150 a night, its reasonable to expect properly functioning showers. Crappy showers easily put a damper on your vacation. 2) Weird motel 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner: One measly bottle of crappy shampoo/conditioner for the two of us. Seriously? I've had better in highway motels. 3) Breakfast: For a "luxury" bed and breakfast, the breakfast was decidedly ho-hum. Wasn't the worst we've ever had, that was at a 2 star hotel in Puerto Rico, but it was close. 4) You're expected to be there at 9 for breakfast. Are we in middle school? Sometimes, vacations don't go as planned, sometimes, you need some extra time for your hair. Sometimes you just wanna press snooze. They expect you downstairs, at 9 sharp, for breakfast, and they're not flexible about it. They hand you breakfast, put on some patriotic music, and then off they go to their own things, hardly any service, not what we expected for a "luxury" bed and breakfast. 5) They're political beliefs are clear and in your face: I'm not a democrat, I'm quite moderate in fact, but sometimes I just want a quiet stroll through a colonial town thinking about how we're all one big happy country.
