The hotel is beautiful. We kept having problems with the keys not working. Housekeeping or front desk could not get inside. There were children (13 & 9) inside sleeping! (We had 5 rooms total. ) Went to the end of the hall to get ice, came back and couldn't get back in! Gone maybe 2-3 minutes. We finally were able to get them awake to open the door. So the next morning, we were sleeping and housekeeping comes in, I heard my door shut, I go out into hallway, they see me go back into my room (they greeted me) and about twenty minutes later when I was getting dressed, my door opened yet AGAIN! I know for a fact they didn't knock this time! I will say that the needs are extremely comfy tho!

Great property! Front desk staff are always super nice, and the management is great. It's not as "swanky" as some newer HGI's, but the rooms are nice and super clean. Parking was never a problem, and there's a supermarket and several restaurants close by. Just note that's not at all a fault of the hotel: at the time of my stay, the traffic light that gets you out to the main road (rt. 50) takes a good 5+ minutes to turn green; so if you're in a time crunch and need to turn left on to the main road, leave early.

Excellent hotel with a friendly staff. A nice restaurant is onsite with a variety of menu items. The food is tasty and nicely presented. The location is convenient to route 66 and 50. Clean well maintained rooms. Highly recommended.

Was here for a wedding, and couldn't have been more pleased. Ample parking and great staff made the event one to remember. The courtyard where the wedding was held is private, open air, and with the spring growth very pretty. High praise to Leandra and her team for making such a great venue.

Great staff and hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet. Nice lobby with a restaurant. Indoor pool and gym are average. Hallways could use a facelift, but all in all great!

A little pricey for the ambiance. Seems like a property bought by Hilton then later given a minor Hilton-style cosmetic update. No complaints really. But if a Marriott Residence Inn is close in price that'd be a significant upgrade.

Pretty much a standard Hilton. It was quiet and near a shopping center. But… The restaurant was overpriced and didn't have convenient hours as in they close between lunch and dinner and you pretty much have to check the schedule. There are no decent restaurants near here. Unless you consider a bakery, which is supposed to be very good, a restaurant. Lots of traffic around there and really nothing to do at all unless you get in the car and drive. My vote: to expensive for what you get. P. S. The only "garden" you'll find is in the name of the place.

FRIENDLY staff bend over backwards to make your stay the best it can be. Clean, soft bed but not to soft. You are almost always great when you come in the door.

I'm a Diamond member. Travel a lot for business. The hotel is nice and basically new but the staff is just ambivalent here. I came down just after 10 for breakfast. I realize they're closing. I get that. I just wanted a cup of coffee and maybe a bowl of cereal. They hadn't cleared but 5% of the buffet. The answer is a polite, but firm, "no, we're closed". But they did smile! It could be a culture thing. They were Hispanic. Glean from it what you want. For me, I don't get it. It's not like they have to bill me for it anyway. As a Diamond member it's free. The coffee was sitting there until 10:20. I didn't dare touch it. At 10:30 an Asian waitress did offer me the lunch menu but I would have to wait until 11. I was leaving at 11 so no fit for me. Generally speaking you kind of feel like you're some kind of burden here to them. They're never rude or loud but firm and clear. There's a Hyatt in Fairfax too. I've stayed there as well. A bit more expensive but better.

Nice quiet rooms, and the BEST staff. The bartender "Luis" is a gem. I've been at countless Hilton properties all over the US and the world, traveling almost non-stop for many, many years now. Luis stands out. I would stay here again just to have him serve me dinner and drinks. Aside from that, the A/C is quiet and cold. The beds are clean, comfortable, and smell nice. The rooms are up to date and very well maintained. The whole property is a great place, and easy entry/exit by car. Would highly suggest staying here!

The manager on the front desc is very unpleasant, I call it-“a little person pretends to have power”… I arrived at the hotel at 3 pm, I didn’t like the room, so I inquired a refund at 3.15 pm, and the manager didn’t want to do so because he decides who gets refund and who not… so he actually forced me to stay at this hotel for a night in the room that I didn’t like… his name is Eli Avendano, very disgusting person…

This hotel is really effectively adequate. Free cookies at night suck though. And so does the complimentary hot chocolate. It's mud but in a cup. Nice of them to offer free treats, but would be better served to hand out slices of greasy pepperoni instead.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Awesome location. Omelettes are delicious. Breakfast buffet seems a little off the usually high standards of a Hilton Garden. Today I finished work early, housekeeping entered my room this afternoon without knocking. I was only doing paperwork, but she surprised us both.

Best staff Hilton has… Always makes you feel welcomed and always have a smile on. Hotel is getting a little old and could use a refresh at some point but very solid option for the Fairfax/Chantilly area.

Really nice hotel. Standard Hilton Garden Inn; nice rooms, nice beds, nice folks. Only negative, in the morning the water temperature drops to nearly cold… say about 7am or so. Otherwise, nice place.

Staff was overall professional. Some organization issues surrounding event such as room signage and a few obstacles. The rooms were a little on the warm side. The coffee was nice, always hot. At one point they ran out of creamer. Grounds are clean and easy to navigate.

Service was sufficient. The building, however, seemed quite dated. The walls are very thin. I could hear the people next door breathing. The noise carried right through the walls. The bathroom door opened outward rather than being pushed open toward the inside as it typically should. This created a lit of congestion in the hallway which is at the rooms entrance. The doors could not be open without ramming into each other. It was disappointing to feel the frustration of trying to keep the door open since it's weight alone kept it continually slamming.

I attended a seminar at this location. The parking was ample. The staff was helpful. The facility was clean, spacious, and up to date. The bathroom was clean and nice, I wish it was bigger, or had more stalls. Overall, it was very nice, and I would recommend this location.

I always enjoy my time at the Hilton Garden. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Genuine customer service from every employee that I encounter. Thank you all.

Our go-to place in this area. Very friendly and helpful staff, decent morning breakfast. (If you know you will want breakfast reserve a bed and breakfast deal on the Hilton website and save a lot. ) Very clean and comfortable rooms. My only reason for not making it 5 stars is I prefer a two room suite.

The location is central to all Fairfax activities, professional and personal. The rooms are the quality you expect from an HGI. The service stands out. The GM, other managers, and employees make this a second home, not just another hotel.

Went for work event. Location was good and food they offered was great. Parking is a bit narrow.

Stayed overnight. Everything was nice and up to par. Check in was easy. The room was clean.

A great place to stay with a real restaurant. Yes a hotel that serves food that you actually enjoy eating. Good service and a friendly staff.

This is one of the only hotels that I don't mind staying in. I like this hotel because I think it is sound proof and I never get disturbed by neighbors. I also like the friendly staff, they always greet my family and never act like we are inconveniencing them. I also like that this hotel is very clean. Everything is always spotless and set out neatly when we arrive. My kids love the restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet and made to order options. You do have to pay to eat in the restaurant if you don't have a higher membership level. I also like that this hotel is in a convenient location to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants. There are sidewalks and it is a quick walk.

Nice, clean room with a comfortable bed. Solid food options in the lobby. Toilet kinda weak.

Hilton Garden Inn's staff was very professional. I was only there for a few hours for a work conference, but within the time I was there I enjoy it. Very close to a fewgood restaurants.

This place is great. Bartenders are extremely friendly, breakfast and dinner are delicious, rooms are big and clean. Actual Direct TV channels. Love this place, stay every time I'm in town.

By far best hotel I have ever been too, the staff is amazing, rooms are great and food is really good. Louis the bartender is my number 1 favorite.

Very clean, with a good bar/grill right in the hotel. The supermarket across the street was very convenient, and there are solid restaurant choices in the area as well. If you're going into D. C. Be aware that with traffic the ride can be an hour or more. If you're staying local though, the rates are reasonable and the accommodations nice. Service was excellent all around.

I went to inquire about holding my wedding there. The staff was very nice after I got them to pay attention to me. I waited at the reception desk for a long time while the receptionists kept calling people up who arrived after I did, because they had suitcases and I didn't.

My experience at the Hilton Garden Inn was exceptional. The hotel, it's facilities, and rooms look updated and new. I rented three rooms for my family, my parents, and my brother's family. All three were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and excellent. They provided a Keurig coffee machine with complimentary coffee in each room. Plenty of carefully folded fresh towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were provided. In the lobby, there was complimentary coffee and pastries by the comfortable fireplace. The swimming pool was perfectly clean and very well maintained. Every detail of guest satisfaction was covered. They even post the daily and weekly weather report in the elevator. Last, but not least, the rooms were an excellent value for the price. I am someone who is not easily impressed, but I can say that this hotel exceeded expectations.

Large clean rooms, very friendly staff, good food in restaurant. Great value. Highly recommended.

The stay was pretty good. The only downside was the internet was pretty terrible before the premium service.

The hotel was excellent and very comfortable. The location was right off of Route 50 and close to many stores and restaurants. I stayed here due to an early morning appointment at the nearby hospital and will certainly do so again in the duture. Note: they are currently remodeling the downstairs so the entrance is currently in the rear of the building and breakfast is served in the ballroom. For anyone seeking the pool, it is still open but due to county restrictions it is only open when there is a lifeguard present. That meant that when I was there it was closed until 5pm. Just an fyi!

Had a wonderful stay here during the World Police and Fire Games! All staff were wonderful and very encouraging towards the athletes staying here. They even held a reception for the athletes and their families. Thank you, from the Canadian couple!

Good hotel and excellent staff. Very bad internet. More to do with the internet provider they contract with AT&T, very slow. There mattresses need an upgrade as well.

Awesome hotel. The manager gives each guest his personal cell phone number to assure total satisfaction. That's real hospitality.

We recently took a trip back to VA and our family house was filled with guests so we decided to stay at nearby hilton. This place is fantastic with great breakfast and very nice people. Couldnt have expected this warm hospitality from Hitlon staff. May be because we told them I actually grew up three blocks down the alley!? I could have gone with five stars if there pool was clean. I mean it was clean but may be the guests who used it before us left it with all kids toys and stuff. They could have cleaned it after them. Or am I expecting too much for my kids.

It's a hotel. Sleep, shower and leave. Met my expectations.

Fantastic place to stay. From the second I walked in to the second I left, the staff was phenomenal. The rooms are well apportioned and clean. The overall atmosphere is cozy, warm, and clean. The food itself could use a little makeover, but the staff serving it is top notch. Overall, a terrific, quiet, and clean place.
