Good pricing for the location. Surprise me by charging an extra $25 for my service dog when I made the reservation I was explicit and she would be accompanying me. Requested a handicap room didn't get one. So much for the month advance notice Update : I received a phone call from Extended Stay America and they are crediting my account for the dogs charges. I have the utmost respect for an organization that takes the time to pay attention and make things right. Needless to say I will definitely be staying here during my next granddaughter visit.

What you would expect from an Extended Stay. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could, its not really a 3 but its not a 2 either. Because the person checking me in was nice I went with 3 stars instead of 2 stars. It is a cheaply made hotel that never looks or smell clean. Only reason to stay here is when the higher end hotels are exaggerating more expensive.

Worst experience EVER! Rude staff… for 2 days someone cooking pan layer outside their door… which goes to show you how much they clean, wanted you to bring dirty towels to them instead of bringing them to the room… never again, and cost was over $100 a night.

Put my mother up in a room here for an extended visit. Staff was friendly, room seemed a little run down but acceptable. "Breakfast" was pretty sparse, even more sparse than they told her at check-in. Edit: my mother checked out early after my sister joined her and found a bed bug in her bed. She caught it in a plastic bag and took the bug to the front desk, and despite the physical evidence they still questioned whether it was really a bed bug or not. Despite the convenient location, I will not be suggesting anyone stay at this place again.

Very convenient to Inova Fairfax Oaks where I had outpatient surgery at 6 AM. Only complaint is that the place has no swimming pool. It did have one but it was filled in. Appearantly Extended Stay America doesn't have pools at most locations.

Good price. Dreadful breakfast. Clean and comfortable room.

Beds are horrible. Staff is friendly but slow and a bit unhelpful. Laundry room on property is a bit pricey.

The room was nice, but the floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it was good to have the option. I was unfamiliar with the chain, but I will definitely consider them in future travels.

I stayed here on a business trip and as a hotelier and I found he most pleasant Front Desk experience and the general manager Rajesh from experience a genuine professional at the Extended Stay. Not many General managers will come and carry a genuine conversation. Hats off to you! And the front desk clerk smiles and guest friendly. Thanks all! My stay was satisfactory. Service desk was great fro the requests. Facilities like laundry room and simple exercise is good enough for relaxation. Breakfast was great. Counter staff, Alina, was kind and professional. Definitely will come back.

Warm staff, excellent breakfast on the go, and the room was surprisingly comfortable for such an affordable price. It included a bed, couch, kitchenette, bathroom, TV, DVD player, etc. I could definitely see myself staying here longer if I needed some long term temporary housing.

We've been here for a while now and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are kept clean, the service is great, but the main thing that makes this stay excel for us, is the staff at the front desk. Mainly Alana, (sorry if I'm misspelling this) she has gone above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and taken care of. She really cares about the guests here and we appreciate her hard work. Some of the neighbors can get a bit rowdy, but it's not too bad.

I likely the very friendly and warm personnel (Mona, Niranjan) at the front desk. They were very helpful and made me feel welcome. I wish I could stay longer.

The staff is attentive and available 24/7 with actual smiles and greetings! The rooms and outside look renovated or new, including the fully equipped kitchen. They provide it all here! Love the grab and go breakfast. No trash laying around, it is quiet amd peaceful plus the rates are great for the area!

This place is disgusting. Rooms seem very rundown. The breakfast consisted of grab-and-go granola bars and packaged muffins. That was very misleading. The bathroom shower head was rusty / molded. On our door, they didn't even use an appropriate screw, so it loosened after minimal usage. We brought our own cleaning supplies and gave the place a scrub down. Lots of items are also broken. For example, the front door handle is taped. The cart for carrying luggage has a bad wheel and has apparently been this way for a while according to staff, yet guests accept this and try using it. See pics. The handicap button to automatically open the door was also broken. Wi-Fi is extremely slow. You're better off mailing someone a letter if you want to try sending an email. Inadequate for getting Amy work done. We also needed towels and got a peek at the laundry room. They pulled towels from a bin and folded them. How do you not have a single towel ready for guests? This leads me to staffing. They seem severely understaffed, seeing how someone never seemed to be at the front desk. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the people who do work here are nice, but I question why they're even managing a hotel, since it's very clear that they cannot handle it.

Great place to sleep for a Trip to DC. Room was clean. Kitchen worked fine. TV had a large verity of channels. Lady at the front was sweet. I'm only giving this 4 of 5 because they seemed short staffed and no one was ever at the front desk unless I waited a while. Also the "breakfast" included was a joke. Literally a coffee maker and a bowl of granola bars.

I had to check in late at night and they were very cooperative and flexible. The room was clean and had good felicities including a mini kitchen. Though my stay was very shot, I had a good experience. Breakfast was very simple though.

Really great place for the price. Good Wi-Fi, nice clean rooms with microwave and fridge and stove. Clean bathrooms and television and very accommodating staff. Highly Recommend it.

Terrible experience here. Hotel is dated and dingy but the kicker was a bed bug on my pillow. We were given another room but not offered any compensation. Please do not stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE! As soon as I walked into the door for check in it smelled awful! And trust me it doesn't get any better in the actual rooms! We had to spend an extra $100 for air fresheners, hand soap, towels, Lysol, and cleaning products just to feel a tad bit comfortable. The towels were off white and the comforter had stains on it. The bathroom was old and needs a complete upgrade and had red stains on the wall behind the door (not quite sure what that was about) after the fresheners were added to the room the smell was still not completely gone. Of course the sheets were not fluffy and comfortable they were paper thin and the pillows were flat. One would even go as far to say that the pullout bed was a jail bed. So if you are looking for a comfortable good nights sleep you can forget about it! Do not be deceived by the pictures. And as stated by other people the service and Wi-Fi is horrible!

The room was clean roomy and had plenty of space for us to place our travel crib with our infant daughter so she had enough privacy to get to sleep. The pool hours were a little restrictive (2-8pm), but that didn't end up being a larger issue for us. I would happily stay in this or another Extended Stay America hotel again.

This place is wonderful. The price is low and the comfort is great. The manager Raj is a person people. Customer service is vivable.

Not a great experience. We arrived late no one was at the front desk, and the room they sent us to was not clean. The other room they sent us to had a musty smell had to open the window the whole night and they didnt have screens. The bathroom was not clean the tub had hair in it. They only gave us 1 washcloth. The bed was full size. The internet didnt work. The breakfast in the morning was only fruit, oatmeal, coffee, and muffins which was not well stocked. Not a great experience at all.

Stay here if you like super sketchy Wi-Fi. Hope you love buffering alot! smells like garbage.

Rooms are ok but the internet service is loathsome. Even the paid service is about as slow as dialup — maybe slower. It's ridiculous. If you need internet, find a different place.

Nice place to stay, housekeeping so friendly, very clean. I love the housekeeper Luz. She is so fantastic.

Not terrible, but nothing special. "Fitness room" consists of a treadmill and a strider. Not the cleanest place.
