Great room king size bed and a hot tub.

My stay was absolutely perfect, and such a great deal for the price. The room far exceeded expectations! the bathroom was huge, there was a full kitchen, the beds were very nice, breakfast was plentiful and had great variety! Would definitely stay again! All the staff was so friendly, and there's even a Washington DC gift shop. Easy walk to dozens of restaurants and Walmart.

Very clean and pretty fancy appearance, especially for the price!

Everyplace I walked was sticky… The carpet in my room, the hallway, everyplace. Woke up at 430am to some. Chick screaming at a guy in the parking lot. Other than that, it was OK. I won't stay here again. The one in Leesburg is way better.

I spent almost $5000 at this place. I was late on payment due to an injury and all I got was these people hounding me endlessly about payment after promising to pay end of the week (which I did). After asking them for 1 more night they told me they had no more rooms available but after checking Expedia for a different hotel I noticed that this place had at least 5 more rooms available. Another time one of the front desk people told me “if you are unhappy here then leave! ” So ya, if you like to take your chances, stay here at Uncomfort Inn University Center.

Great location, centrally located. Room was clean, didn't smell funny. We wanted an in-room hot tub, and it was awesome! breakfast was ok, not fantastic. Will definitely return!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights to attend a professional development course at George Mason. If I had been there for one night, it would have been fine. Since I was there for five, I took notice and issue of several things. First, the good: -The front desk was very helpful and was able to provide what I needed -Breakfast was standard. I particularly liked that the yogurt is suitable for vegetarians which is not often something I see in hotels -All the staff I interacted with was friendly and helpful The weird: -Giant tub in the middle of the room. Why is it there? Why is the control for the jets on a wall nowhere near the tub? -The shower is a cylinder. Not a deal breaker, just weird. -There was a second timer dial in the bathroom which I thought would control a fan. I was wrong — it turns on a heat lamp. It might be a tanning lamp, I never figured that out. -The toilet is in a closet in the bathroom. I suppose this makes sense if there are 2 people in the room because to get into the tub, there's a giant hold in the bathroom wall which prevents the room from actually being closed off. For one person, though, it was strange And the bad: -The first room I was in smelled strongly of animals (this hotel allows pets) -The second room I was in smelled like someone had smoked in the room and the cleaners were unable to totally get rid of the smell -The overall cleanliness of the room wasn't up to standards.

Great Place For Family Reunions!
Indoor heated pool, huge restaurant, free parking, meeting space for meet & greet, there's a 24hr convenience store right next door and a nearby park for our family cook-out! Oh and they even have rooms with kitchens so you don't have to eat out every night :)

Overall I have been satisfied with my experience. The hotel is oldish but cost effective. My room was clean. The breakfast was just okay.

Awesome place and awesome people. I've been here two times and can't wait for my third visit. I recommend this place for anyone looking for hotels in Fairfax.

For the most part the staff was quite nice. Needed some quite time just away and was able to get that here. The breakfast was decent. The restaurant that is attached doesn't have the best food but it's not the worst either. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great for our overnight stay. Clean and appealing facility. Spacious room. Professional and courteous staff. Good hot breakfast. I wasn't looking for luxurious, resort quality. Meet all my needs. So this was perfect and I would definitely come back.

Super, lived there a month and a half, everything is cool. The elevators were only broken periodically.

Excellent room service, visited every time we were gone and left special commodities based on left circumstances every morning. Shower was a little complicated, but the rest of the room was extremely simple. Excellent breakfast as well.

Comfort Inn is a great Hotel it's been great for us we've been every Wednesday and we never have any problem so we happy with the service and we hope to stay there for a long time.

A welcoming place, the Staff is very attentive. The Location is very convenient, you find all around.

The layout of the rooms are nice. Makes the room seem nice and spacious. Great location. Indoor pool was nice and relaxing. Good food at Asian delight, the restaurant in the hotel. 7-11 50ft away. And giant just 100ft. With 3 kids we had a good stay.

The Comfort Inn University Center has always and consistently provided me with a very clean room, a great rate, and friendly staff. One of the first things I do when I check in is partake of that ice water that's always ready in the lobby when I arrive. Conveniently located is the Asian Palace connected to the hotel building, a 7-Eleven that's just paces next door, a gas station catty-corner, and a grocery store just across the street. About a mile away is a Wal-Mart if I need other items, and there are oodles of restaurants within a couple of miles. The Comfort Inn University Center is my go-to for business travel.

The university center is a decent room to rent for events. Lighting is good and the room overall is clean. Heating/cooling is a little uneven due to the heating/cooling unit instead of (or maybe in addition to) a central heating/cooling system. The route to the room from the outside of the hotel is less than favorable since you have to descend some stairs and down a hallway almost to the laundry room. The room is close to the loading dock so it makes it covenient to move equipment.

Enjoyable stay, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The included breakfast was very good and fulfilling. Would stay here again if Im in the area and would recommend this location for any to stay at.

The staff here is cheerful and very attentive. Extremely good people work here. Our two queen room was very spacious and the beds and towels were both very nice. Room 509 takes a very long time to get hot water and the shower changes temperature randomly. Our shower pressure was on the weak side. Other guests told me they did not have the same frustration with plumbing so I suspect we just had a room in an unlucky location for pipes on the five very cold days that we stayed here. Parking was good and there is a good surrounding neighborhood. Easy to get to DC and the airport Air Museum from here.

We attended primarily for the usage of their conference room on the basement level. The location can be confusing at first. It's not the cleanest place either as we set up our equipment. The staff that was supposed to clean and prepare the place before we got there, worked on cleaning it was we got there. It caused us to delay our start for several minutes. Otherwise it was not a bad venue.

Very clean nice hotel and everyone is so friendly. Passing through VA but had to get some sleep and I slept like a baby in that bed by the way after a long drive a jacuzzi is the best way to go! And the price is amazing!

The service at this hotel was superb. Stayed there for a school trip focused on Washington D. C. And they were professionals. They just need to keep an extra set of blankets in the rooms.

Older, dated — not a nice area. Overpriced and thrown together breakfast area, microwaved food. Mattresses were old, full size at best and need replaced as a lot of things at this location.

Woke up this morning and killed a bed bug in my bed. Immediately packed my belongings and went downstairs to notify the hotel and check out. Went across the street to Courtyard Marriott, which is much nicer and newer and marginally more expensive (like $10 a night). The manager was not onsite so I wasn't able to get a full refund at that moment. Hopefully she will email me back soon with confirmation I'll be getting my money back. Many of my colleagues have stayed at this hotel over the years and just informed me that each time they stay here they have at least one incident of bed bugs. Why they continue to stay here I do not know, but I doubt we'll be coming back.

Last minute affordable accommodations! My stay was great! Everything was clean… even the pool! I will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel and can't beat the price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The complementary breakfast is really good too. Parking lot entrances and exits are easy to get to and convenient. The free hotel shuttle to the DC Metro is top notch. My wife and I have stayed here twice and have been very happy both times. This hotel has become our main spot when going to DC and will continue to be.

We stayed one night the Comfort Inn University Center. Overall the experience was good. The biggest downsides were the hotel was pretty dated and elevator floor was sticky. We stayed in the king room with a hot tub which was pretty cool. Overall it was ok.

Van service is great — free rides to Metro (Vienna). ($20 uber each way) Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff, excellent value. Very convenient grocery store directly across street, and 7-11 in parking lot. Room fully equipped, nice size, safe. Great interior pool.

Amazing beautiful hotel. It is a little secluded, but nonetheless, I loved my experience. The staff are delightful, and the rooms are just great. The king bedroom with the jacuzzi was definitely on point. And also, it allows dogs, which was always a plus.

Great staff. Huge room with a hot tub in the room. Perfect for a couples getaway. 15min from all of the sights of DC.

It was a good room and the breakfast had everything. Wi-fi was Like limited connection. All the other things were perfect with no complaints.

Comfort Inn University Center has been our reliable, go-to, affordable hotel choice in Farfax for 7 years. The staff is extremely kind and accommodating, and if anything ever went wrong, which was rare, they fixed it quickly. Plus, they're dog friendly!

Stayed at this hotel last night as I made my way down from NH to GA. Though I'm not familiar with the area after reading the reviews I felt pretty comfortable booking a room here. I checked in past midnight. The gentlemen at the front was nice. I noticed that they had security which was also comforting. This was the problem: I wake up this morning and noticed that my door was open, luckily I put the lock on top of the door or I don't know what would've happened. First I thought that I maybe had dropped one of my card keys somewhere and that's how they were able to open it but I went and checked in the small envelope and both the cards that were given to me at check in whew still there. Sorry but safety has got to be priority. No other guest would've been able to open my door without a key given to them which leads me to think that it was an employee. Very scary experience and very disappointing. After seeing that I just wanted to leave, I was planning to stay for a couple for more nights but definitely not after that. Never staying at a comfort inn again.

Made a reservation here, but due to flooding and tornadoes in the area, I was unable to arrive that night. Had to make the choice between my safety and keeping the reservation. I called and asked to cancel the reservation and for a refund, but the staff (including the General Manager) refused. Despite the life-threatening weather, the hotel said they were "sticking with their policy" and chose to keep my money. I understand that last-minute cancellations are bad, but the decent thing to do would have been to provide a refund. Next time, I'll stay somewhere where they prioritize customer safety and general kindness over profit.

Stayed here several times. Even had my daughters birthday party here one year plan on staying often as we do stay-cations some weekends to enjoy the city.

Really like the hotel and the rooms with hot tubs and king sized beds are extremely enjoyable (albeit sometimes the tubs aren't cleaned the best) Microwave and mini fridge available which many hotels are forgoing anymore. The Chinese restaurant connected is very delicious with such lovely servers and there is also an enterprise. The rooms are clean and in working order, plenty of parking and the pool is nice as well. The only issue I have had is an employee that works mornings at the desk, a younger hispanic guy. I have had problems with him a couple times with the main one being he calls your room early and wakes you up for no apparent reason. He also called my room at one point and was very rude saying, 'so are you going to check out or not? ' This was at 11:10 and I had already informed him that my fiance couldn't get off for lunch to get me until 12 (which managers have told me is absolutely no problem). He truly does not belong in hospitality, he always makes excuses when you bring up problems and says 'well YOU should have done xyz'. I stay at this hotel all the time, most times 2 or 3 times a month so I know exactly what should or should not be done and what is or is not okay so his laziness is not sometimes I am okay with.

The beds were really comfy with great pillows. The rooms were so spacious you could have fit 2 more beds in. Breakfast was also fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel with a large group of students for two nights on a field trip to Washington. I have done this trip in the past and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The entire hotel looks well kept and clean for what it is. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Older building. Small bathroom. The heater ran all night and it never warmed the room.

Staff was great, room was comfy, elevator was scary.

By far not the greatest. Issues with checking in, room keys not working, bed uncomfortable, TV didn't work properly, no remote to change the channels, hallway smelled, staff seem unpleasant.

Great experience. I had an accident down in the US while on vacation and needed to book a room extremely last minute. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming and were able to book us a room regardless of their full booking due to a delayed check in. They didn't charge extra either even though I ended up checking out an hour late. Comfortable bed, up to date facilities as well, parking was extremely hassle free, and the booking was wallet-friendly as well.

Room is huge and nice, but the reception desk is very cold and rude, the signature of DC.

Great 4 night stay. Clean and relatively modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hot breakfast was great (sausage, eggs, waffles)! There were full kitchenettes in the rooms including larger than dorm size fridge. Super friendly staff from the desk to housekeeping. It had a clean and well lit parking lot. It was close to some dining options. Giant grocery store across the street was an added bonus. The asian restaurant in hotel smelled good but we didnt go in. I would definately reccomend this hotel to others. only con-one elevator was all that was working. We lived.

The air conditioning was out in most of the hotel and it was in the 90's! The staff was adequate, breakfast was adequate, the room was decent.

Best place to stay in D. C. Area. You drive 10 mins and you have access to all the resources. Friendly staff. Great customer service. Ask for Sushil to get the best offer.

Very good price on rooms. The people at the front desk were great and very helpful with everything from hotel customer service to helping pick out a good restaurant for dinner. However, the rooms look like they were last updated in 1987. There is a smell of mildew throughout the entire motel. You can't really escape it, no matter where you go. The rooms/bathrooms are not really dirty — but they're far from clean. The free breakfast in the early morning they provide — you should probably skip it. It's pretty bad. They do have some nice flavored yogurts and juice, though. The rest of the food you should probably pass on. I'll likely continue to stay there while I'm in town, simply because it's cheap and close to a lot of things, but if you've got money — — you'll want to pass on this place.

The room was OK, but their breakfast setting was horrible. They have two breakfast rooms. One seems OK and the other was dirty and few food choice. Then they check room numbers when people come into the good one. Then send people with groups to the latter one. Sadly, most of group members were Asian Americans, I would say, "Chinese visitors" and the only extra food the hotel prepared for the visitors was rice. Then they claimed it as a special preparation. I felt really mad. If they want to give better service, they should give the customers an option to choose which room they want to go for breakfast. It seems to me as a segregation and it seemed really shameful. The hotel needs to change it. I wonder how the hotel can do the shameful practice. Is it because many Chinese visitors with limited English skills can't complain much? If it is, it is more shameful.

Nicest Comfort Inn that I have stayed at. Clean good-sized room, OK bed (not great, but comfortable enough for a good night's rest), fast and reliable Internet access. Can't ask for much more at the price. Breakfasts are pretty marginal, and the coffee is mostly colored water with a faintly smell resembling coffee if one stops to think about it. But again, one can't ask for much more at the price. Recommended as a good value.
