I love this property. I'm a Hilton guy and this property impresses. Easy check-in, friendly staff and when I had to check out early because my business meetings concluded early, the manager quickly waved the early check out fee. Breakfast is the biggest plus because it's included along with a great selection of spirits, beer, and wine.

Very good hotel. We organized a conference in town and had several people stay at this location. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Room 217 is pretty impressive, it has a small conference room attached. This room is good for a small group.

Edit: The whole place seems nice honestly, just too bad that I had terrible booking experience. They confirmed my room 1 day before I check in and even told me the floor and type of the room. When I arrive at the lobby on the check in date around 10pm the lobby manager told me because my credit card didn't go through they have to remove my reservation and there's no more room. Didn't text me or email or call me and explain that they don't have anything contact info on the reservation and truth is I'm a Hilton reward member and clearly put all my info in when I book the room (How do you even book if you don't provide ANY contact info). Obviously they think it's not worth the time to notify me that my room will be cancelled if no valid payment method is provided. It's cherry blossom season and most hotels are sold out. End up spending a long time to look for another hotel. No resolution, no apology. Worst hotel experience ever.

Great ambience and fabulous design from inside. Happy hours 5-7pm as usual. Staff were very helpful. They upgraded our room to a bigger one because we complained about noisy patrons next room. Breakfast was open buffet with many options and a cook can make you custom eggs with mushrooms, cheese, and others. Indoor swimming pool and gym as well. Close to everything. A little hard to find parking around as it's the case all around DC. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a friends birthday weekend trip. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfy. The decor and ambiance of the hotel is very warm and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast buffet was great with a variety of choices. Would stay here again when visiting DC.

This place is great and has a great feel to it. I would like to return. The host was great and very accommodating. The breakfast was nice and has awesome variety. The social hour is very nice and relaxing as well. Great hotel.

This is, hands down, one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. They were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious, especially for a DC hotel. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful, and the space is very inviting to small kids. We came there with 3 kids under 7 and when we arrived it was late. They immediately confirmed the crib was set up in the room upon check in (I can't tell you how many hotels make us wait for cribs even when we ask for them ahead of time). The room had a pull out couch where we put the other kids, and we slept with the baby partitioned off in the bedroom. It was ideal! There is an arcade, a great breakfast buffet, and a happy hour, all of which were so welcome during a VERY cold trip to DC. One time, during the happy hour, there were no snacks out that my toddler could eat, and without my even asking, a random employee went and got her a basket of goldfish! Really above and beyond service. Moreover, we left some things in a drawer and they IMMEDIATELY mailed them all back to us! I was so impressed all around. I will never stay in another hotel in DC!

So amazing. The service is European in an American hotel. Very much all sincerely and comfotrited.

Excellent hotel for families (good-sized rooms). Nice indoor heated pool. Walking distance to many great sites (including old Georgetown) and parks. Breakfast has many options. The hotel offers good deals on weekends for "staycations". There are plenty of parking meter spots that are free for Saturday night stays, so you can skip the hotel parking fee.

Top notch hotel. All rooms are suites. Free happy hour beer and cocktails from 5pm-7pm. Amazing breakfast buffet included. Feel like you are at home away from home. Suites are spotless with every amenity you could possibly want. Friendly staff and knowledgeable concierge. You will not be disappointed with this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel at the mouth of Georgetown. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. There is a pool, complete with a hot tub as well as a mini arcade on the first floor. The hotel features a full bar where a free happy hour is held nightly for guests, including appetizers and light fare.

Very good customer service, the location is unbeatable as it has to hand all the subway lines, and is to po as blocks of Georgetown. The rooms are very spacious and functional.

I love Embassy Suites everywhere. They are always s great stay! … the breakfast is awesome and plentiful. I wish that the happy hour foods were as plentiful as the breakfast… Either Embassy Suites is s great stay!

Excellent hotel, a bit far from tourist areas.

We were very pleased with the executive suite which added an extra room to the usual 2-room suite. The room would get 5 stars but the breakfast maybe 2. Way too many people for the space. An employee did help us find a table. Though he requested someone return to clean off the table, it did not happen. I was happy to get Goose IPA beer at the reception. I have stayed at over 30 Embassy Suites and the room here was great, but overall only 4 stars.

We stayed in the 4th floor. The lobby was beautiful with a flooring fountain and the room was different from any one I'd seen before. I had a living room and TV side and then a bedroom door to the bedroom and bathroom. Very cool, and service was fantastic.

Fantastic hotel, great rooms, excellent breakfast so why only 3 stars? After a long flight the last thing you want is the concierge trying to sell you on a time share event first thing the next morning — not a great first impression so one star removed. Second star removed due to an impatient cleaner, if checkout is at 11am then leave guests alone until then instead the cleaner knocked on our door 3 times between 10am and 10.40am to see when we would be leaving.

Excellent rooms, good breakfast, and in the afternoon there is happy hour and also has some snacks to accompany. Good service and incredibly facilities.

Very impressive atrium lobby. Evening reception and breakfast were a nice touch but very crowded. Many people seemed to enjoy the free drinks a little too much… Room itself was large and the separate living room worked well, but living room window faced into the corridor/atrium so gets very little natural light. There was a slightly musky/mouldy smell in the room, but not enough to bother changing rooms when staying one night. Front desk very helpful allowing early check in and the small gift shop was handy to buy a stamp on a Saturday afternoon when all the post offices were closed, I was even able to leave it with the front desk to mail for me.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast: You are likely to eat on your feet as there are not enough tables for everyone. The evening aperitif offered is discreet.

Suites are amazing, they have plenty of room and features. The swimming pool and hot tub are great to relax in after a long day. And the morning breakfast is delicious, I love it.

The service is great and the staff will text you to see if they can make your stay any better. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning but it is just your traditional eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, etc. Nothing special to write home about but it's still nice to be included with your stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern feeling and a maid services them everyday. The only truly unsatisfactory thing that I have experienced is the gym. It's a bit run down and could use an expansion. The ceilings are not evenly vaulted and it shows as there are cracks and crumbles where someone lifted the dumbbells above their head only to discover the ceiling is a bit closer than they realized. Also, there is a lack of variety in equipment and a few of the weight machines are rusted and run down. But then again, this is a hotel, not a gym.

I stay almost exclusively with Hilton properties. This property was the least helpful I have ever experienced. The service was in some ways great, but at least half of the employees I encountered were rude and didn't care about your stay. I will point out that I thought 1 or 2 at Check In were pleasant but specifically the restaurant and hotel staff encountered through out were rude and blunt. Very difficult to enjoy yourself when you feel unwelcome. My next complaint is cleanliness. I must have been a rare case but my room had hair everywhere. I was only there for a short stay and couldn't leave fast enough. Parking fees were FAR beyond normal for the area. A coworker of mine stayed a few blocks away during the same days and paid $12 a day at the hotel. This location charged $48.99 per day. They also did not specify this at check in. I did ask how much my parking would be and was told $ 41 or something close to that. NEVER mentioned per day and I was asking for my entire stay. Sure this could have been confused. Since I had so many issues it is just icing on the cake. I also spoke to management about an issue. And they did not care. I made a booking mistake. I would have been perfectly fine if they could assist in any way. Not asking for a hand out or anything. They did not and would not care AT ALL. A professional should always offer help, or advice, or knowledge and I was offered NONE of this. I will never revisit.

Beautiful hotel with large buffet at breakfast. We were in 5 and they gave us a double… claimed they told us they couldn't do anything and made us sleep in an absurd way. All refunded but figure they could evitarsela… I think and I hope it was an isolated case.

The Wi-Fi has had difficult to use.

Our one only family trip was terrible. Advertised extras are not available, includes: no-pool, business center, made to order breakfast, relaxing lobby, sitting area to wait for guest, Internet and cable shoddy. Now their will be no electricity or AC for 4 hours tonight. Our 5 night stay was not good. More to say but won't.

The hotel is undergoing construction so this review may be skewed by that fact. However, the internet is incredibly shoddy, difficult to use, and unreliable. The rooms are well maintained and updated with great furniture. The breakfast is complimentary and satisfactory. Since it is under construction, breakfast is served inside a complex of rooms.

Under renovation right now so many amenities aren't available ie pool, restaurant. The renovated rooms were great though!

Under renovations at the time of my stay but still a nice location. Complimentary breakfast as well as food and drinks were good but crowded. This was however handled well and will likely change once construction is complete. Rooms are clean and comfortable with many accommodations.

Hard to give it a proper review because it's in the middle of a renovation right now. I wouldn't recommend staying there more than a night until it's completed because the renovation is very disruptive. They also have limited services and amenities at this time.

Location is good — but not super close to the heart of town. The rooms are nice and the breakfast and happy hour are well attended (get there early if it matters to you. ) There's also a good Italian restaurant on site that's good for almost all occasions (including family dinner. )

If you go there, you must see the huge goldfish in the well maintained pond that is in the restaurant area. You can feed the fish with a food pellet dispenser that they have. The rooms are the bomb and the breakfast staff even remembered me from the previous year when I visited. I was quite surprised.

I believe Embassy Suites is a decRnt hotel. I didn't completely like the security hovering around my friends and I as we entered and exited the building. The concierge did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed.

Simply dated… Rooms furniture are stained and worn. Bathroom plumbing was clogged. After several attempts by Engineering to fix, I gave up and just lived with standing water. Do yourself a favor, avoid.

Beautiful hotel! Unlike anything I've ever seen before. I'm from a small town and there's nothing like this big beautiful place around my parts… and FREE drinks every evening!

I stayed her back in March for three nights the 26-29th to celebrate my 30th bday… and it was so nice… I deff would stay here again. … rooms was spacious also clean and nice…

Beautiful hotel. Room is great. Front desk personnel are very nice. Housekeeping was always very accommodating as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that the bed was too soft. Unfortunately, I can't pack my sleep number bed.

The service staff (maids) are respectful and friendly and committed to Hilton's values. I wish the same could be said for management. In the middle of a heatwave, the building's AC broke down, which wasn't fixed 24 hours later when we checked out. Management took hours and hours just to deliver a fan to our room, which had a welded shut window. The hotel bar has a good selection, but no ethics. I was charged for a drink I didn't order and noticed the same thing happened to an older couple the next night. Something is rotten in this hotel, and it's not the food in the broken fridge in our room.

Nothing really interested me here. Even though the rooms were set in advanced the rooms were not available even though they were stated that they were. The food in this location isn't on par with any other embassy suites around as well. The internet here was so clustered that it was literally impossible to use, though I suspect it can be fixed with better access points instead of having 10 (literally) 'hhonors' APs stepping on everyone and everything. On to the rooms, though they took time to get prepared it seemed that they were a bit dated over all. Not expecting a extremely high quality experience though, out of all embassy suites I've been in this one makes me feel like I'm in a motel. Furniture needs a bit of renovation as the tables seen better days. Oddly enough the TV in the bed room didn't even work, leaving the ability to watch something on demand out of the question. Either way. This isn't a place I'd recommend to go to unless you had no where else to go.

Horrible experience with the security. We can in late and he called the police on us. He couldn't handle the situation on his own. The hotel was very not understanding. Wouldn't help afterwards.

This hotel saved my life! The staff was AMAZING and extremely helpful. Book a room here and you will not be disappointed.

I stayed there for two weeks. Free Wi-Fi Internet access in the room and other spaces. Computer room + printer for those who do not have a personal computer. Spacious room. Free breakfast in the morning and free cocktail in the evening after work. The location is ideal for getting to work in Washington, D. C. While walking. The receptionist was not very welcoming on the first day but it did not spoil the whole of my experience. So I validate!

Convenient location, decent breakfast buffet but I'm not a fan of the slightly out of date decor and parking arrangements were very crowded. Staff was very helpful and the bed was perfect to sleep on. Free Wi-Fi was spotty at best.

Front desk people TOTALLY confused. I arrived at the hotel and gave a credit card as deposit (usual up to there). Then I told them that I was paying cash and gave them money that was in their safe. I explicitly asked if the authorization on my credit card was canceled and the person at the front desk told me yes. So they continued to ask for more money on my credit card and my bank reacted as if this was a fraud and made opposition to the card. When I came to ask what was happening, the manager was condescending and gave me a lecture. A couple of days before checking out, I asked for a bill for the full stay to know how much I would have to pay. And when I came to pay, the front desk manager gave me a bill with a supplement of ~500$! I told him that I was very unhappy and he made a commercial gesture that I greatly appreciated. This is the reason why I gave them 3 stars and not 1. This is not the first time that I go to an embassy suites, usually very happy about it so I do not make a generality. Maybe just got unlucky but nevertheless I think some of the matters were not dealt professionally.

Had a great experience here! The staff was very helpful and if you need anything at all, just ask Kevin. He went out of his way to help us and to make our stay great. He is incredibly knowledgeable and even made the kids laugh. Joseph will take you wherever you need to go if you ask.

This is a nice hotel. Breakfast was adequate. It was noisy late at night, so the people in the back room slept well, but not on the sleeper sofa. And the wireless Internet, which they charged for, was too slow to ever be usable. Couldn't even check email.

Nice hotel and I would stay here again. I didn't have any problems parking, parking garage is at the same spot where you enter the hotel. I didn't like the price of parking with tax which was $42 per night! Plenty of other garages though close by if you have trouble. Hotel was clean considering hotels in D. C. Are older (older carpet in room, etc). Great free breakfast that made up for the parking. This is a full spread breakfast with chefs and great pancakes! Atrium is greet with running waterfalls! Now the downside. If you're staying here to visit museums at the mall it's not very close to the metro stations, to far to walk to the museums, cab is the best transportation at aprox $15-$20 one way. Very easy to get a cab from the hotel, walk out the front and down the street 50ft to the right and two cabs always sitting there. Final — nice hotel for a hotel and stay, but not the most convenient for museum visits. Add cab fair in when considering vs staying to a hotel that's closer. If your staying here only for business you will love it here.

One of the most comfortable hotel you will stay in DC. I am staying now for business trip and the place is very cozy and clean. Top notch staff with customer oriented attitude. Love the free breakfast and cocktail hours after work. Close to the main tour area such as the white house and Smithsonians. If you are planning to stay around DC area, please check this hotel out before reserving other hotels.
