The first room I checked into, room 316, reeked of what smelled like stale cigarette smoke that had permeated the walls and carpet. I don't know why I didn't ask to switch then. The bed was comfortable so I thought I could put up with the smell for two nights. When I returned on the second day after work the odor hit me like a wall. I decided then to switch rooms. The staff was very accommodating about switching and it was really on me that I didn't ask as soon as I got there. The second room was much better as far as odor, but overall, this hotel is a two star for a reason. It's very dated and does not feel safe. The rooms open right into the parking lot. There is a lot of traffic noise. I will not stay here again.

It is right behind an apartment building which makes it a little strange, and driving at night it is hard to see because the hotel sign is catty corner to where the actual hotel is and the sign that is on the hotel is on the side of the building where you can not see it. The rooms were pretty and roomy. The pillows and bed we're comfortable. There was a complimentary breakfast in the morning and it was pretty good, the normal pancakes, waffles (they had strawberry which was yummy), boiled eggs, muffins, toast, bacon, and eggs (they tasted funny). Overall a decent place.

Got this room while traveling to DC and they had a couple of rooms left. The rooms were nice the pillows and beds were comfortable. The only bad thing was all the stuff going on outside. They have a complimentary breakfast and it was ok. The waffles we're good but the eggs had a weird taste. But overall not bad.

A very nice, clean place with sufficient breakfast, but it was freezing at night. The bed covers were so, so thin, that I couldn't fall asleep during our stay in April. Chose not to use a loud heater.

Front desk staff was very progessional and friendly, room was very clean, and the grounds were nice. Free hot breakfast wasn't amazing, but it had waffles and eggs and enough to go back each day. Plus there was a Denny's next door in case you want a bigger breakfast. Hotel was around many other popular restaurants which was great for us. Pretty far from D. C. Itself but we didn't mind driving in. Overall a very nice experience! We would stay again.

Decent hotel, great location with lots of food options nearby. Comfortable beds, big flat screen TV and solid Wi-Fi. Very helpful staff.

I will be staying at this hotel for three weeks for work. Clean rooms, spacious and current, my only problem is that they won't open up for breakfast til 6:30. I work at 6:30, I called the office to see if they would open early for me and my crew, and they said sorry we don't have anyone to attend to breakfast til then. I can fix my own breakfast!

Convenient location, helpful staff, good room. Wifi gave me issues.

The first room they gave me was the only room in a row that didn't have open doors and beds in the middle of the floor because of construction. I went back to mention this and to ask for a room change, Rebecca said they were full… the parking lot was basically empty. I go into the room, it smelled so bad, I could not breathe & a spider was hanging out on a strand of his web in front of the TV. I go back to the office, tell Rebecca this, she gave me another room. In the second room, there was straight brown hair on the floor, my hair is natural and salt & pepper. The sheets on the 1st bed had ink stains, the comforter on the 2nd bed had red stains, not sure if blood or lipstick. The towel in the bathroom had red stains, and the towel in front of the sink had a burn mark. As I sat on the bed for 3 hours, my entire body began to itch. I had to leave. I asked Rebecca for a refund, she just looked at me. The Wi-Fi also only worked for about 1 minute. They wound up charging my card 3 separate times, 2 times after I had checked out. I was there from 6:20 pm until 9:37 pm. $97 for 3 hours and itchiness. Carmen was nice. Rebecca was also ok. But I would never stay at a Quality Inn again, & am actively telling my friends to never stay there. Typing this is making me itch again.

Nice small hotel in quiet area. Maybe need some upgrades.

Not a bad place to stay, if you don't mind being able to see through the gap at the top of your door. They've got a great breakfast here (legit), and the beds are comfy. (Even though my bed wasn't changed/made, but my travel companion's was. )

Achieves what you expect when you go to a Budget Motel. And expensive, clean, and free breakfast. Police shoes at Sage but overall it's not that bad.

Great hotel on a budget. Great location to stores and restaurants. Plus security guard.

Giving this place 3stars because the Wi-Fi sucks so bad. When I told the lady at the front desk about it she said that was her first time hearing that lol besides the terrible Wi-Fi the rooms were great.

Not a bad place, if you don't get a loud guest next door. Don't confuse it with the other Quality Inn down the road.

Nice clean location near shopping and Mount Vernon. Breakfast is great and the service and staff are friendly and go out of your way to be helpful.

Good value for the price. Nice breakfast. Super service. Had water tripping through ceiling, got it handled immediately, assigned new room. However, there should come no water from up above.

Very nice, comfortable, convenient and Staff is nice. A lot of parking besides you'd have to inform the staff of your vehicle before its towed however its pretty big The Hotel Housemaids are pretty nice too! They stay busy in cleaning the Rooms and the room itself is pretty big and the beds are quite comfortable yet firm (which I prefer anyway). We receive plenty of towels and wash cloths and even asked if I need any. Breakfast is okay. I just wish they had flavored creamer and bigger cups but its a nice breakfast bar.

Don't ever stay at this hotel, we checked in late and will be leaving early so we didn't need to get an expensive hotel room it seemed ok so I booked two rooms one for Chelsea and one for Erwin and i. Chels called me twice for bugs in her room after the second time I called the front desk to tell them Chels would sleep in our room because she was scared of the bugs and the bug I tried to flush wouldn't go down because the toilet was overflowing and I expected a full return on her room. The receptionist said he couldn't refund because we didn't complain within the first 15 minutes. I said he needed to train his bugs to show up within the first 15 minutes. What a jackass needless to say I had to go full evil on him. Luckily his colleague was professional and solved the refund situation.

Where to start. The carpet was torn at the front door. In place of one bed it had an olive green harvest gold sleeper couch from the 1970's. Seriously, where could they have even found that. The refrigerator did not work. The electrical wiring and sockets and extensions were scary. The bed was brick hard. They must have gotten it for $100 it was so bad. The wood work and furniture were worn and nicked. The bathroom had two kinds of tile. The grout between the tiles was filthy and gross. The shower curtain was old and frayed on the bottom. The toilet was so short I thought it might be a squaty potty, it was tight against the tub. And to think I paid $130 for this dump.

Its a very good hotel. You can park your car in Huntington metro station and then go to any place in Washington by the metro. The hotel receptionist will provide you the parking address and metro map.

Was trash we had been staying there for a good three weeks and had more to go because of work still they woke us up at 11 and kicked us out because supposedly iy was all reserved… sorry yall supposed to let us know a night before. Under Gerardo name.

Clean parking lot and safe area. Good customer service at desk and nice clean room.

The staff was top notch and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and much better than I expected. The carpet needs a professional cleaning. The Wi-Fi was not good at all My overall experience was great even with the issues. I would both stay again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but our stay was very nice. The rooms are nice and spacious, clean, and the air conditioning wasn't set on super-cold when we walked in. The landscaping around the building and pool are very attractive and well-maintained. All five of us could get on the Wi-Fi with no issues. We needed a roller bed and it was delivered in less than 2 minutes. The pool was clean and had toys for kids (balls, etc. ). Breakfast was a standard selection of foods but they have an outdoor courtyard so we ate outside next to a large fountain — my kids loved it. There are little benches tucked in corners so you can get away from your loved ones for a few minutes when your affection has been replaced with a real respect for living childless (if you haven't travelled with kids, disregard that). Staff was friendly and quick. We would gladly stay here again.

We were here for the Savage Family Reunion June 23-25th. Yes everything was lovely! Everything the larger hotels gives you but at a great price. The breakfast choices were good. Clean pool, life guard on duty. We had 3 room and they accomdated us so we could be near each other. Great "Choice" Sonya Savage-Williford.

This hotel was great. The first time I have seen a lifeguard at a hotel pool. Also the outside space was so nice since I was traveling with kids. There were picnic benches and grass. We enjoyed the breakfast outside. Very nice.

We were visiting friends in the DC area and needed a place to sleep overnight. Quality Inn Mount Vernon was a great pick. Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was on par with most hotel breakfasts we have experienced. Room doors open to the outside, but we were never concerneded about the safety. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Rooms very clean and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of options for any diet. The only suggestion I can make is to install an elevator for those on the 2nd floor. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with anything you need.

It was pretty much what was expected for a Quality Inn. Any staff we interacted with were very nice, the room was always clean and orderly and reasonably comfortable. We stayed for a week and got a decent deal. They offered free breakfast and free Wi-Fi, both of which were quite good. Whatever they used to clean their furniture interacted strangely with the varnish and gave all the furniture in the rooms a weird sticky feeling. It doesn't hurt anything, but it really catches one off guard and just feels gross. Also, and there's not really much they can do about this, the insulation from room to room was pretty good but if anyone was loud on the walkway you could hear everything or if an outside door was slammed on a row of rooms it would reverberate all the way down the line so everyone could hear it.

Never had to put a deposit on any Quality Inn hotels phones but this one. Cell phone was dead and needed to call my kids but they wanted 10$ like hell I wish I would. How the hell you got this big TV's and the channels are not clear. When it rains you can't even watch TV at all.

Stayed here for a few days for work and enjoyed the location. They have comfortable beds and large clean rooms with big HD tvs. The HBO channels sort of cut out from time to time like they have a bad signal or something. The hotel is right next to a 24 restaurant and only a block from a 24 hour gas station. Also the staff (Cindy or maybe Cynthia? ) Were super friendly and very helpful. The only major downside is the air conditioning. You can set it on 60 and high and let it run all day but the room never really cools. It's hard to sleep in a balmy 78 degrees because I'm not adult enough to control the A/C in my own room. The unit just goes on and off as it pleases regardless of what I set it to.

My girlfriend Tracy and I stood there for the night last Monday. We loved the pool area and I'll recommend it to anyone who likes to stay on the short trip.

I must say that this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The room was huge and the beds and bedding were comfortable and clean. Great location and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend this home if you are staying in the area.

Worst night of my life, the room was supposed to be smoke free and the cigarrette smell was unberable. The sheets were disgusting and smelly and the bathroom was nasty If I wasnt tired of driving for 14 hours I would have definetely looked for a better hotel in better condition, the whole night I felt like throwing up because of the bad condition of this room I would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

I checked into this RAT MOTEL on January 12. I can honestly say that this was the worst hotel ever! I walked in to a pillow on the floor with a boot print on it. These nasty motherfuckas didnt even bother to clean the nut stained sheets. Also I saw the maid drop a ice cube and put it into someones drink. If you dont believe me gothere yourself and notice the hair left in the drain.

Then staff was very helpful and there was a police officer on the grounds patroling all night which made me feel very safe. The room was affordable and it was very close to DC and Arlington, right off of 1 in fact. There was great dining near the hotel in all directions. There was a Target and CVS near by as well as a grocery store too. Just wonderful! Good hot breakfast in the morning was good enough to keep you full until lunch time.

Sorry to say we were very disappointed! The beds killed mine and my sisters back! Omg! I just expected better quality. Relatively quiet but there was riff raff hanging around outside of our door half the night. Suppose to be smoke-free room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Old room. Hated it.

Dark rooms, poorly lit, AC unit not working, carpet smelling of cleaner overcoming mold. I think we got one of the old rooms, other rooms looked OK but this one was terrible. The windows were foggy. The pool is only open from 3:00 to 9:00, so that isn't very flexible. The breakfast was good. But overall it is one of those old-style motels rooms.

My parents live nearby so we have stayed here more than once and enjoyed the experience. The beds are quite comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the people are helpful and wonderfully friendly. The hostess serves up wonderful Belgian waffles and there is yogurt and fresh fruit. Although on a busy highway, the location is removed, so the noise is not significant. We have also enjoyed the spacious pool. Great deal and good location.
