Right next to Liberty's football stadium, the room was clean and comfortable. The whole hotel is non-smoking and smoking is prohibited within 100ft of the hotel. The hotel employee who checked me in was very pleasant.

I hated this place. Forget it. It’s an overpriced sleeze-hole. Breakfast? Are you kidding? Coffee, granola bars and a few cellophane packaged muffins. The kitchen was a joke — no utensils. No hair dryer. Minimal TV stations. I spent the night before at a Motel 6 in Richmond that was not only $25 cheaper, all of their motels have been completely refurbished and painted.

Clean hotel, basically on the Liberty University grounds for quick commute. Staff was friendly and helpful, and rooms and grounds were clean. Although, this is just your standard Extended Stay America which is identical to any other one you have stayed at, nothing extra but all the basics you need. Although, the bed was as hard as a rock, the pillows were basically just air, and the walls were very thin. When booking a hotel, half of your necessity would be a comfortable bed, this one was not. Would recommend this location as a one-night stop, although not for a long term stay.

The best nights sleep I've had in a hotel on the first night away from home. Love the studio style. Kitchenette was neat to have.
Only issue was that the TV wouldn't Guide or Info so we could tell what we were watching. Right across the street from Liberty University and Macado's.

If I could leave a review without giving a star, this would be the best time to do so. This hotel has the worst customer service; and, it is roach infested. Two years ago my family and I were booked to stay here. I booked the room, three months in advance, with the understanding that I would have two queens and a pull out for my youngest. Upon arriving, I was placed in a king suite (one bed) for a family of 5! That is not going to work. I made the manager aware of the mistake and he made no attempt to apologize. He simply said, "that's all we have available. " How? When I booked three months in advance!? (Note: this was a prescheduled school related trip). On top of that, there were roaches scuttling on the wall. We did not even sit or unpack anything. We got our belongings and quickly left. We were kindly accommodated by the management team of La Quinta that year… So, here we are two years later. This time I am thinking this trip will be better. It has been two-years and they have likely freshened up the place and management. NOPE! After enduring a 10-hour train ride, with only 30 minutes of sleep in a 24-hour period, all I wanted to do was eat and sleep. I arrived to the hotel at 8a just to be told, by the manager, I could not stay because I was 6-hours early! I explained that I was exhausted and that my travel arrangements changed last minute. He, once again, said that they did not have anything available. I asked how was that possible when I booked in advance.

I have stayed at different Extended Stay Hotels in different locations and by far this is the best, the friendliest, safest, and cleanest I have ever stayed at. The management and staff are professional, courteous, friendly, patience, and they provide all around great service. If there is a concern they take care of it right away, because they want their guests to have a positive experience. I always look forward to staying at this location. 1 star hotel. No dishes, no utensils, not even a pencil. Through the wall a/c next to bed that blows right on you all night. Cannot adjust. Noise from room above. Right on 4 lane highway, very noisy. "Breakfast" is a joke. Won't do this again. Good luck to you.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Extended Stay. Staff, room, breakfast, the peace and quiet. The cleanliness of the room and the option and availability to cook your own food in your room! They provide you with everything you need. Had I known, I definitely would have taken full advantage of it. They also have a laundry room/vending area down the hall. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place. Downside, I couldn't stay longer!

Very Very Clean! but there is no breakfast only granola bars, coffee, creamer, and oatmeal to take back to your room and microwave in a coffee cup and eat. You have to ask for dishes, utensils if you want to cook or eat in your room. They could do better for the money you spend. And you pay extra $10 per hour for late checkout. They could allow you an hour late checkout.

Very affordable and you can't beat the location. You can walk out the door and be on Liberty's campus if you need to be. Tons of places for shopping nearby if you have to stay a while. The front desk was super friendly. But, I'm giving this four stars because although the laundry room is at the other end of my hall, it stinks the entire hall up. No problem with the room at all, though. Clean, no smells, spacious, and quiet. I'd stay here again, especially if other nearby places are out of your wallet's comfort zone.

Very nice hotel. Courteous and accommodating staff. Clean rooms. Across the street from Liberty University, food and a shopping center. Within walking distance of several amenities. Only con is the limited "Grab and Go" breakfast. Most places have more variety with hot options like pancakes, gravy biscuits and/or waffles. Only drink selections are coffee and hot chocolate… no juices or milk at all. Still not a deal breaker though… which is why I rate them 4 stars. Overall great visit!

Nice rooms, nice lighting, and nice staff. Will definitely be choosing Extended Stay America when we can.

Justin If I was closer to you, I'd kiss you. You answered the phone with such a pleasing voice, which made me comfortable asking you lots of questions about my son who lost his ID and needed a room. You eased my worry. You even gave me a tip on how to get great rates with your hotel. I did as you said, and I saved some money, paid for it online, called you back and confirmed the reservation and my son was warm for the night. Now I can sleep in peace. Thank you for a five star experience.

The people are friendly. I've stayed for a few months and they do what they can to fix any problems that may come up.

Walking distance to Liberty University campus, probably one of the closest hotels. Pet friendly is always a plus. The kitchenette however has no dishwasher or stove, just a two burner cooktop, microwave and fridge. It is very clean though and in a safe area. Staff are extremely nice and helpful.

Place is okay. Workers are nice. Room was hot and smelly when I walked in. The aroma quickly switched from week old curry to burnt food in a matter of minutes thanks to their cheap pots and pans. Food goes from almost thawed out to completely burnt in less than a minute. Tried cooking twice in 1 night, Burned both meals. Went to Little Caesars cause I was fed up. Came back with a hot pizza, a warm 2liter and NO ICE MACHINE. They had empty ice trays in the freezer, so by the time I can drink my soda, my meal is cold. Sweet. Housekeeping only comes once a week and the breakfast is fake muffins and granola bars. I'm very laid back, I can "rough it", but this place made me write my first bad review ever. Spend your money elsewhere. 2 stars only cause the front desk was cordial.

Too many smokers stay here and the cigarette smell is offensive. Limited cable television. Needs redecorating. No closet doors — just an ugly curtain. Tacky kitchenette w/ very small sink & microwave above my head and beyond reach. Housekeeping ignores "Do Not Disturb" sign and doesn't clean rooms properly @ weekly intervals. Room cards require reprogramming @ least weekly if not more often. No continental breakfast, fitness center, business area, ice makers, hair dryers, and many other amenities I'm used to.

Extended Stays get a bad rap for being low quality. Their decor and facilities are actually quite contemporary plus you get a mini-kitchen in your room… not that I cook or anything but for those that do… on any account I have discerned that one will pay double or even triple to stay at a Marriott or Hilton to have a well appointed elevator, a front desk associate in an il-fitted polyester uniform, and a low quality "hot" breakfast. My extended stay hotel room in Lynchburg, VA has two desks, a flat screen, a full kitchen, tons of closet space, a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water pressure, a working air conditioner, and a soft clean warm bed all for a total of $57 taxes and all and it is located in a very safe area. In my opinion, Extended Stays are one of America's best kept secrets in the hotel industry.

I travel for work, and typically spend at least 2 weeks at a time in one hotel. I wish Extended Stay would offer breakfast, and coffee all day like all other hotels. The kitchenettes are nice, but there's not always time to cook for yourself. Other than that, it's an ok hotel. There's not much water pressure in the shower, and housekeeping only comes around once a week, so I have to call or go to the desk to get towels, etc. The guest laundry facilities are nice.

Had a late stay over, the place was fine even though it smelled a bit of paint.

As explained by some other guests, the convenience of the location is a plus. However, all other considerations would force me to stay somewhere else. The staff will look at you cross eyed if you require anything as if you are bothering them. I also had the pleasure of running into the crowd of construction workers outside which made my wife and daughter feel uneasy about walking in the parking lot. Staying in a hotel I believe one of the strong points should be a comfortable sleep, but with the cheap and old beds they have did not provide anything but exercise as I tossed and turned all night. The comforters on the beds should be replaced as they look dirty and well over used. If you are looking for cheap and convenient, stay here, otherwise GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Why in gods name would an extended stay hotel on campus have so many construction workers that party all the time. One of the hotel staff just walked in with my daughters friend asleep in the bed with no notice! He claimed they didn't know anyone was in the room. My daughter checked in and they gave her the keys to the room, why didn't they know someone was in the room! This apparently has happened before per other reviews! This is not a safe hotel for any young girls to stay at alone!

So I've been here for 24 hours. Upon arriving to my room the kitchen was flooded due to the fridge leaking, lost power during a storm and the backup generators didn't kick in so the hotel was pitch black for 5 hours, lost internet service currently due to issues and had someone walk into my room cause their key card worked my door. Either this place is totally screwed up or having some terrible luck. I'd leave if my company wasn't paying for the room. I wasn't expecting the Marriott but definitely didn't expect a motel 6. Spend the few extra dollars to go somewhere else. You'll thank me.

BED BUGS! I took a picture of it before I killed it and the staff confirmed it was in fact a bed bug on the picture. I was told that two other guests within the last two weeks left because of bed bugs. Never again!

The room was nic and clean. They allowed pets which helped us decide our stay.

I love the staff here especially kaitlyn who works the desk at night she is so sweet and actually tried to make the stay as comfortable and satisfied as possible.

Enjoyed the stay. Love that I'm able to check in early. Stay here everytime I come to Lynchburg for my intensives. Only negative is the "breakfast" but that issue is common with any extended stay hotel.

It is a very nice place to stay and the people are friendly.

Smelled like smoke, mold in the toilet and shower, and fruit flies! ugh. Unsanitary, not worth the price AT ALL! Go stay at East Side Suites for a better price and a cleaner place.

I would recommend updating rooms and housekeeping, Mold in the ac units, bathrooms. If you are in a bind and close you're eyes its not bad.

Came for LU intensives really close to campus (across the street) that is the ONLY positive. Rooms dingy, stated they had cook ware and such had nothing of the sort. And if you are planning on using any device that requires Wi-Fi FORGET about it. SLOWEST internet I ever had the misery of putting up with. They could do nothing about it either, except charge you $20 dollars to upgrade to a faster speed and it was still horrible. I would NOT recommend this hotel. If you are coming for LU intensive and you need to use the internet to complete assignments or just watch netflix DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT stay at this hotel! You have been warned.

The maintenance man opened the door when the sign said do not disturb and when teenage girls were inside. When he was told he scared them because they thought someone was breaking in, he said it was their fault for not letting him in, among other rude comments. The desk clerks were just as rude about it. The blankets smelled like body odor from previous guests. Only one stove burner works and the freezer is leaking water into the fridge. Contractors like to stay here and hang around outside the front door and curse loudly. I booked this online, thinking since it was close to LU and not knowing what a low class place it is.

This place is very convenient to the Liberty campus. But that is all that is good about it. It stinks of cigarette smoke everywhere even though it is suppose to smoke free. When I cam home, I had to wash all of my clothes (even the ones that I did not wear) because they smelled like smoke. My advice is to stay at one of the other places near the Liberty campus.

If u are coming for an intensive this is the closest place to the school. First and second floor rooms are great. Some of the 3rd floor rooms need to be remodeled. Generally they take care of u right away.
