Hospitality was great. We missed breakfast but were given breakfast burritos anyway. Everyone friendly. Rooms very nice.

Not really the hotel's fault, but the fire alarm started going off at 11 pm last night. Two hours later all guests had to evacuate to another hotel, all due to a guest who doesn't know how to microwave a potato! Also, the hotel staff and Lynchburg fire department were fumbling and let the alarm blare for over an hour before finally shutting it off. Worst hotel experience ever.

Older hotel in the process of being renovated. Rooms are done and large in size. The flooring has a pattern that is pretty wild. Breakfast and lobby are clean and well organized. Buffet items were not bad. Coffee was great! Will return.

Everything was great with our stay until time to check out. I was charged for 3 nights for a 2 night stay. Tried to dispute charge at hotel, was told they could do nothing. Having to dispute the charges with my bank.

Very comfortable pet friendly hotel. I think the nightly rate is a bit overpriced. Other than that it’s a good hotel in the area.

The room I stayed at was dirty, with hair in both the bed and the bathroom floor. The decor was far outdated, and price was outrageous for what we got.

Great. Large lobby helpful for our tournament. Rooms comfy and we'll layed out. Definitely will come again.

On a positive note, the front desk staff are very pleasant and accommodating. However, this hotel is not clean. The floor in the lobby had the same popcorn kernels stuck in the same cracks on the tiles for days straight. The same sugar and cream spillage was in the coffee area for days. The elevator floors were so sticky that my shoes got stuck every time! And then there's the rooms… The first hotel room I was given was something out of a nightmare. The chair had big cookie crumbs on it. The bed skirt had big brown stains all over it. When I lifted up to check the mattress, it had HUGE brown spots on it. I asked for another room and they gave me another one without any issue and apologized, so I will give them credit for that. The second room wasn't as bad as the first but still wasn't as great as I would have expected. There were no stains on the bedding; however, it was very dusty. When looking behind the bed, there was piles and piles of dust bunnies. This leads me to believe that they haven't been dusting and vacuuming for some time. When I opened up the dresser drawers, there were pieces of Doritos left behind. Also, throughout there were little stains on the walls. I'm not sure what they were but just like brown spots and what not. When I took a wet washcloth to them, they came right off. This just shows that the housecleaning staff aren't really paying attention to the little details.

Be aware. Staff at this location steals from rooms. Terrible experience. Chose this location and chain for their pet policy, which proved to be the ONLY positive of this experience. Cleaning staff stole items from room. When front desk was confronted they were less than concerned and took down my information saying they would call if they "found my things". They took down my information so they could dodge me everytime I try to contact them. Horrible employees, horrible ethics as a company. Reached out to corporate and was met with computer generated responses and more dodging. I will never stay at a La Quinta again.

I've stayed here several times. No complaints. Staff was great. Rooms were cleaned. Since I typically stay a week I would have liked to see bacon appear once during the week. Breakfast consisted of Waffle, cereal, instant oatmeal, sausage, and eggs. Oh yea and yogurt. And toast. Overall great stay.

Appears to be a relatively recently updated older property. Room was mostly clean and when notified about the one area that seemed to be overlooked prior to our entry, the staff politely remedied that immediately. Common areas were well maintained and visibly cleaned daily by a courteous staff. Breakfast bar was nice with a decent selection of hot & more traditional "continental" items. Location is not the easiest to enter/exit, but once we figured out the back exit, it was more navigable.

Customer service when I arrived was terrible and the girl was extremely rude. I checked in, went straight to class without going to my room. I went to my room at about 8:30pm and my keys wouldn't work. When I went back to the desk she gave me new keys and I went back to my room. When I opened the door someone was already in this room. Clothes everywhere and bed unmade. I immediately went to the desk very angry and they acted like it was no big deal and gave me a new room. My new room was clean but I felt very uncomfortable my entire stay. I feel I had no privacy and wondered how many times this has happened. Obviously someone didn't do their job. Probably won't stay here ever again.

Travelled there with college hockey team. Rooms were not ready at 7pm. Hotel was not prepared for the team to be there. Stayed there the year before 2017 stay was excellent. 2018 the stay was a disaster. Employee turnover was downgraded from 2017. Very disappointed, nothing done to rectify the situation.

The room was comfortable but the shower lacked hot water. The breakfast was decent and the lobby was accomodating with a popcorn machine and many different tea types.

Stayed here before and was great, but this time was different. Bus loads of kids checking in at same time, single person at front counter was overwhelmed, but managed after a lengthy wait. Breakfast was ok, have been to better in the past. The main issue was NO hot water for shower… barely above lukewarm. System depleted. Not acceptable. Won't be back.

Good place to stay and very pet friendly. Clean and basic. Good value.

Only stayed there one night no hot water for my morning shower the rest of the hotel was in good shape and the breakfast was excellent.

The staff is AWESOME! The beds are very comfortable! Staying there for a long weekend is delightful. I do it once a year when my son and his family come to visit. This time we celebrated my 80th birthday and it was FANTASTIC!

We have been staying here for four years since our son started at Liberty. The staff is always courteous, caring and professional. The rooms are always clean, well maintained and pleasant. The breakfast has been consistently delicious with lots of variety. On top of all of that, we can bring our dog to visit also. I cannot say enough about the Lynchburg La Quinta!

Have stayed twice. Staff is excellent. Room is very nice. Will stay here each time I visit Lynchburg.

Every time I visit LaQuinta it is fun and has so much to offer. But the best part of my stay is the front personnel. They treat each guest so special. Awesome experience!

Nice breakfast. Room cozy but clean. Hallways a bit strongly scented. Bathroom is tiny and commode very low. If you have knee problems be sure to get an ADA room if one is available.

I enjoyed my stay, but most of all I was very happy with the way an electronic device I left was retrieved and sent back to me with nothing but a simple phone call. No discussion about responsibility of cost. Just a happy to help attitude. Thank you for fixing my mistake.

The hotel had spacious, clean t The hotel had spacious, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. The pool was slightly dirty but not too bad. They did not have any baby beds (no cribs or pack and plays), so that made our stay much more difficult. But otherwise, it was a good experience.

Breakfast is a nice spread. Eggs sausage, waffles, fruit, pastries the usual. Rooms are nicely appointed. Hallway of my floor smelled like smoke and it seemed into my room sometimes. Couldn't tell if it was legitimately a smoker in the hall or just a heavy smoker walking by. (I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke)

Stayed on 4th floor in a non-smoking room but the entire floor smells like smoke as soon as you step off elevator it hits you! However the room did not smell this way. Furniture was a little dirty in room (spotted up) we had a king suite. Housekeeping could do a little better with cleanliness. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a good selection of items both hot & cold. So for these reason I give a 3 star.

Rooms were amazing, staff seemed to not want to help and it took over 2 hours to get fresh sheets, but the bed was comfortable, the pool was nice and as long as you don't rely on the staff you'll have a great time.

Great place. The lobby and breakfast were amazing. They guy at the front desk and other gentleman in the lobby were so friendly. We chatted about knitting and crocheting. The room was large and spacious. The only downfall was the bathroom. It's time for an update. Otherwise, amazing place to stay.

Very clean facilities, comfortable beds, awesome breakfast included, but most of all, the evening staff (we checked in after midnight) were warm and courteous. When you walk in for a late check-in and you see staff sweeping the lobby and working hard is VERY refreshing! Would choose this over Courtyard Marriott across the street (paid less too)!

The rooms are very clean. The bathroom is small toilet and shower in the bathroom sink out in the room with a mirror. Plenty of lighting. Also can control the temperature of the room. You have a nice tv, desk, and chair to lounge in. I got a two queen beds non smoking room. You have a microwave and fridge. They accept pets to. Their is plenty of storage space to. You have an iron and ironing board. No hair dryer. Free breakfast. Outdoor pool, and a gazebo to smoke in. Also not to far from the Liberty University.

I walked into this place and immediately felt as if it were a five star hotel — incredibly expensive. I walked into the room and all of that changed. It was a generous floor plan for a king suite and we originally were impressed. It was when we looked more closely we noticed that there was a weird gooey glob on the mirror and a light was barely hanging on by a thread. The drain in the shower tub didn't work at all. Thankfully the person on desk was kind and relocated us to another room. This one wasn't pretty and was much smaller. Being midnight, we didn't care, we just wanted to sleep. The shower is clearly dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The paint is old and gross. There are cracks in the walls and ceilings. At least the shower works. I also found fresh blood on the comforter that is obviously not mine — I'm having a hard time believing they switched out the sheet from the previous guest. I doubt they did. I will be calling first thing in the morning, until then I'll use the other sheets provided. This place is definitely not worth even 99$ a night. I'm thinking more like 40$ a night. And that's just for how nice the lobby is. The people at the front desk this morning were very rude when I asked a question. I guess it depends on who you get for the experience you have.

Nice (on the inside), friendly hotel. I would have driven by this place and never considered staying due to the outside appearance. However, the interior is extremely nice!

Since I actually didn't stay the night there, I cannot speak for room quality (yet), but the lobby, bathrooms, and staff were nice. The staff was helpful, the bathrooms were clean, and the lobby was well-furnished and appealing to use as a waiting room. It was missing coffee cups when I arrived, but that already implies complementary coffee, which is never a bad thing.

Very clean nice tone got in late. Luckily I had keys from someone I was working with couldn't find anyone at front desk around midnight. Other than this the room was very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and spoke English which is a change from most hotels I've visited lately. Overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone in the area, very comfortable beds.

Accepted my family on short notice with pets due to homeowners insurance claim. Would recommend to anyone. Great room and pool.

Separate sink from shower room was nice zero but shower room was very small. Pillows were not firm. Breakfast was ok.

This is a very clean hotel. We were sent here when the Marriott overbooked us. It's cheaper than the Marriott, but definitely not dissappointed. Also, they have free popcorn.

Service is good, front desk staff is courteous, no restaurant /bar but does have free breakfast. Rooms are okay for the price.

The front clerks were very personable and helpful. Everything was clean. They also have a great breakfast in the morning.

The staff was friendly and I was satisfied for the most part. The room was well cleaned except for the dried blood on the shower curtain.

Seems like an older hotel that's been updated well and now feels modern. Super clean, comfy beds, good price, friendly staff, no complaints! We'd stay there again.

Working in the area, have been staying here for the last three months. Minimum of four rooms per week depending on workload. The staff go above and beyond to keep us happy. Rooms are always clean. One of the better Laquintas I've been in.

The hotel was new looking and clean. Rooms went above my standards and the Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had to leave a day early and miss a night of my reservation and the staff went above and beyond what was expected. This will be my new place where I stay when visiting Lynchburg.

In today's customer service world, there's much to be desired but not in the case at this La Quinta Inn. My daughter left a necklace in our room which we discovered 2 days after returning home. I called the Inn and the manager, Michael and an employee, Austin went above and beyond to find the necklace. I wanted to reimburse them to Fed Ex it to me but they insisted they would absorb the cost~All companies and businesses should hire such professional people as these two men. Professional, courteous and doing more than what their job called for… thank you!

Stayed there 3 times. I love it! Everything is nice and clean, very modern, friendly and professional staff. Great price! And they offer military discount. I will always stay there with my family.

In town on business took a chance and I was very happy with the hotel. I was in a suite 2 large rooms well furnished, friendly staff. Nice breakfast every morning and fresh popcorn in the lobby in the afternoon/evening.

Super helpful staff and clean, comfortable room.

Very clean place. The free Wi-Fi is decent as long as the entire hotel isn't on it. Even has a weight room with some dumbbells and treadmill. Recommended if you're looking for a place to stay around here.

This had been one the best La Quinta Inns on our cross country road trip. Jordan was the most friendliest and accommodating guest specialist ever. Even though we came off of our route going 81 N, it was worth the detour. The room was clean, the decor very upbeat and elegant. It was like finding a diamond in a mine of Virginia.

Excellent stay! Evidently recently refurbished, this was an excellent stay in Lynchburg. And while the remodeling and “newness” of the facility is great, it was enhanced by the friendly, helpful staff. I’m on the road probably 100 nights a year, and this hotel impressed me more than many of the “luxury” class hotels I stay in for business. This especially impressed me as I stayed here using “points” from my personal travel. I have used points with other chains, and frankly felt like they are simply accommodating me, and giving me their lowest room available. This La Quinta staff treated me like they were glad to have me stay here, and did everything they could to accommodate me. I actually stayed here on 2 occasions over 4 days. The first time, I arrived in the morning, well before noon. The staff was very apologetic that a room was not available—I didn’t expect one to be. I was happy to work on my computer in the lobby sitting area. The staff checked with me to see if they could get me anything, offered me coffee and fresh fruit, offered to have me use the work out facility if I wanted or go for a swim in the pool. They got me into a room as soon as one was available. The remodel is very nice, modern tile in the entry and bathroom, nice carpet, and very comfortable bed. Good sized flat screen TV (I confess that I hardly ever turn the TVs on in hotels anymore, so I have no idea how the picture or sound was).
