We didn’t learn — until after we checked in, for two rooms, that there was only a $20 credit toward the once free breakfast we enjoyed in the past. We were also told the $20 credit only applied to one room instead of both. We moved our reservation next door to Hilton’s more family friendly brand — Homewood Suites.

Great Staff. Manager was Outstanding. Only will stay at this location when I’m in town!

Second time staying at this hotel and very pleased with it overall. Hands down the best breakfast at any hotel. Full Buffet, with made to order omlets, pancakes and eggs any style. Anna, our waitress was awesome, very good at what she does, very friendly and attentive. If there is an employee bonus program I think she deserves it. Room was clean and owing a lodging place in New Hampshire I am very picky on cleanliness. Awesome stay we will be back.

This place and its people are the definition of accommodating. This is my family's go-to hotel for when we visit my sister. Not only are the rooms and common areas immaculate, but the genuine hospitality of all of the associates is unbeatable (no matter the time of day). To add, the breakfast is worth every penny — you gotta get the french toast. I didn't understand why my mom always insisted on Hilton when I was growing up — and now I see why!

Excellent location! Very close to an awesome Wegmans. Their lobby was very inviting and clean, as were the rooms. I did not visit the pool personally, but some of my party did and they enjoyed it very much.

Enjoyed our dinner. We ate at the bar, it was very good. Enjoyed our service and conversation with Alex and Kyle.

I have been staying there for a few years. Still looks good on the outside. The rooms and service not so much any more. Front desk folks still pleasant and helpful.

Easy location if you're traveling. Close to a really awesome Wegmans grocery store. We walked over for beer and snacks. Hotel had pool and Jacuzzi. Full breakfasts are served. Small bar and snack bar on the lobby floor.

Had to stay here over a week due to circumstances with family and their guarantee of making sure your stay is as pleasant as can be is true if you have to stay anywhere in Fredericksburg Virginia stay here it's worth the money and the people treat you like family God blessed their staff.

I attended a surprise birthday party and we were in a small room in the front of the hotel, just off the parking lot. This was convenient for our particular event because then we could see the birthday girl coming. The room was clean an just right for the number of guests. Due to the cost and the fact that they could not bring in any of their own food, the organizer was limited on what she could offer the guests. There was a point where the kitchen could have been better prepared. They ran out of a few different items and had a line of people waiting by the time they got back.

I stayed one night in May, 2018 while on the road. Check-in was very quick. Front desk had a young man who was very welcoming. They have a small bar if you want a drink, small store with snacks, and a sit-down dining area for breakfasts that are made to order for you. This is a brightly designed contemporary style hotel. Very inviting. It is clean and so was my room. Room very comfortable, good mattress and pillows selection. I asked for a quiet area and it was quiet all night. Slept well. You will enjoy this Hilton Garden Inn.

Very nice customer service. The rooms look clean until you get close to things and then you noticed that there's a lot of dust on things that you would want to use like the microwave or the coffee maker. I did not want to touch the coffee maker because it looked like it had not been dusted in months. Again the customer service is very very nice. The room face 95 and the hotel is not far enough away from the highway so you hear every single truck and car and even the wind that goes by when they drive by LOL anyway that's not something the hotel has control over so if you can ask them for a room that does not face 95.

Hilton Garden Inn's generally deliver a warm, clean and comfortable stay — — this location did not disappoint. Super convenient to the highway and plenty of restaurants/shopping I would stay here again for sure. The hotel was clean… I know I mentioned that before but it is an important fact with any hotel/motel/inn. The staff was very welcoming and friendly… and not just the front desk staff so that was a plus. My room was on the first floor, I could not hear a thing — — from either the freeway or out in the hall. The room was decorated warmly, plenty of room, comfortable and I actually slept very well my 2 nights here. There is an onsite restaurant/bar — — I did not try, as I could not pass up the killer diner down the street.

Absolutely abysmal hotel and a very crooked private operator. They have no signs anywhere on the premises stating they are not a pet friendly hotel. Not one… no policy, nothing presented or signed. They just let me check in and then hit my credit card for 321.00 claiming he standard “pet damage” fee. Mind you he didn’t call, knock on the door, suggest we were out of compliance in any way. Just charged our bank account… oddly my bank states it’s not the first call they have received for similar cowardly activity. If this is their ethical standard, your credit card is not safe with them under any circumstance.

The first time I stayed here was pretty good. Good price. Good location. Great friendly staff (Stephanie was great). I signed up for Hilton reward program. Second time I came, they over changed me and didn't include my discounts. Staff was careless and annoying. I had to sit in the lobby for several hours AFTER check in because my room was not ready. I can accept not being able to check in early but for what you pay, you'd expect to be able to check in on time. Additionally, they were out of many things. I saw multiple guests going over to the nearby Wegmans just to get things because the htlotel was out. I won't be staying here again.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the accommodations (indoor pool and hot tub). The double fire place is inviting and staff is super friendly here and takes care of any of your issues. Very clean and the beds are super comfy. It's close to central park and the interstate. Restaurant is "ok".

A good hotel that needs some attention. The location is great with lots of food and shops in the area. Plenty of parking and helpful friendly staff. The rooms need work. The carpets have stains, the ceilings are grimy, the walls have unpainted patches, and the rooms in general just need a refresh. The linen is clean, but worn and the furniture is very dated. The lobby and restaurant are in good condition and the staff always make you feel welcome. The sprinklers in the room are very sad though. Just look at the picture.

Filthiest Hilton I have ever stayed at. There was dirt and stains all over the carpet. Stains all over the walls. Asked to switch rooms, the new room was just as dirty. They need to hire better cleaning staff. This hotel made my skin crawl, I need a good delousing now. I will never frequent this hotel ever again. Very deceiving the lobby is so nice. I told the staff and they said " that sucks". Very professional response.

Clean rooms, well maintained. Liz the server in the restaurant was very professional and had the perfect amount of follow up. Not too much, not too little. I overheard her interaction with other guest and I'm sure they we're pleased. Liz had suggestions for local places. Meal was well prepared and promptly served.

Looking for a quick pit stop on our way south. The room was comfortable. The staff was pleasant.

Rooms are super dark. Need a couple more lamps. Also, I had a room facing the highway. It's pretty loud. I don't have a problem sleeping with a little noise, but if you do, make sure to get a room away from the highway. Other than that very comfortable, clean rooms.

We checked in very early in the morning without a reservation (we're didn't plan to stop in Virginia at all). They got is into a nice room without any hassel for a very good price. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The second night we stayed (also unintentionally) we were given a free upgrade to a suite. The staff was always friendly and courteous as well as very helpful.

I had a business function at the Hilton garden in November. My job was holding a regional meeting. We had dinner at the hotel and most of or management stayed there. It was very wonderful experience. I would recommend them to anyone coming through the area or just for a nice stay.

Called to confirm comfort animal for my children. We only take service animals. He is a service animal. Sorry we don't take comfort animals. He is ada you obviously do not want animals there. Ty ill find another hotel.

The Hilton Garden Inn is a nice hotel just off the highway. The rooms are a tad outdated, but as always very clean. Good value for the area.

Clean nice spacious rooms, nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast is extra $11.99. Beautiful trees and pond outside, I see why it was called a garden inn.

Nice hotel in a nice area. Went with 2 young children's and it was great. Restaurant is also nice if you need to eat.

The charm and gracious hospitality pf this Hotel rightly epitomizes the hospitality a visitor to Small Town Virginia. This is a welcome respite from the stress encountered while driving dowm "The Great American Autobahn" aka Highway I-95. I look forward to becoming a regular guest here, and would unreservedly recommend that you do as well. Bryce Valentine.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. Pool is kind of small and the entrance way of the room was a little narrow, but those are minor quibbles. Nice place, good deal. Would stay there again.

It was nice and clean, staff was friendly. The pillows are not my choice, although I can bring my own. Thank you to MGMT for doing a great job implementing the training program. Love Hilton!

We had a great stay! Amanda was great, super friendly and truly nice! The housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and everything and everyone left me feeling like I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as visit again!

Always a great experience! Minor problem with a phone in the room and all of the management bent over backwards to make things right. Adam from food services was especially gracious. Definitely the place to stay in Fredericksburg!

Quick overnight stay on the way back from vacation. Getting up and into the room was longer than normal since first set of keys didn't work, but other than that it was a nice quick stay. Rooms were neat and tidy, and the breakfast in the morning was well stocked and tasty.

Nice food, nice staff, nice room. Great for the price. Room was clean, shower had slight brown spots in the corners but was otherwise clean. Towels and shower stuff (shampoo, soap, etc. ) were standard for Hilton places. I would stay again. It was quite close to our convention center (3 min walk) which was awesome as well.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being near the highway, the hotel isn't directly near a highway exit/entrance. The rooms facing the interstate do gets lots of road noise but it's mostly drowned out by the loud AC unit. The hotel is near lots of restaurants. Definitely add the breakfast option — it's worth it for the self service buffet and made to order eggs. His hotel is newer and has plenty of outlets to charge devices. The only reason we didn't give this a 5star rating was the 8am fire alarm.

Room was very nice, as was the staff. Wife and I got the romance package for our anniversary (bottle of champagne, dessert, and breakfast for 2 in the morning). When the dessert and champagne were delivered at the requested time they brought us apple cider instead of wine. When I called the desk about it they put me on hold before asking my reason for calling. I went down to the desk after 5 minutes of holding where I was told they were out and I could have a bottle of wine. I agreed but wish I hadnt because the wine sucked. Breakfast was good as was the dessert.

Good location. Room was dark, not enough in room lighting. First floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast wasn't bad. Nice staff. Parking is subpar.

2 stars get knocked off because the bar closes at 10pm every night and they only do room service 1x at around 10am. If you miss it, they don't do a second pass. The breakfast is also far from gormet.

Great place to stay but don't understand why free breakfast is not included in the room.

For the price we paíd (about $105) for one night, this place was wonderful. I was dreading stopping at hotels in the area since many had bad reviews and even mentioned bedbugs. This hotel had great views and they are well deserved. It was quiet, very clean, the two queen beds were amazing and you can control the firmness! Bathroom was clean and came with tons of free neutragena products and enough towels and large shower head! We checked in late around 10pm with our 5 month old infant and they immediately got us a pack and play brought up to the room and set up for us! Rooms came with fancy coffee keurig maker, microwave, and fridge. Nice flat screen tv. We were given complimentary tazo teas and coffees upon check in. We did not stick around for the breakfast which was like 6-10 cause we needed to get on to driving again. But breakfast is not included it's like $12 but all you can eat a person. We would have stayed but figured we could go to ihop for the same price. Other than that is place was great!

I love that place. It was like paradise. The staff was very friendly. It has a nice indoor pool and a jacuzzi hot tub. The jacuzzi was so nice and relaxing. I would love to stay there again.

Our company has held several meetings at this location. The lunch is always good and the facility meets our needs and is very clean.

Room is what you would expect. Comfortable hotel room with all the necessary amenities. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge. Solid. I had a room that faced the highway and you could hear the highway noise, but nothing that would be even close from stopping me from sleeping. Solid recommendation and if you EVER are hungry, just make the short journey to Wedgemans… they have everything you could possibly want from a super grocery store!

We stayed on the 29th and 30th and felt the property was fine. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced, and we didn't really notice the noise from 95, it has to be at least 1/2 mile from the hotel and there are trees and buildings in between. Staff were very pleasant and it is convenient to everything. We hit Riverside Dinner Theatre Friday night, and bummed around old town Saturday.

We kind of picked this place out of a hat, and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, and a little bit on the small side, but there was enough room for an extra chair, a desk, and a small cabinet with a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. It is supposed to have adjustable firmness, but we didn't find the controller until the morning we left. Its on the side of the bed, attached to the mattress, near your pillow. Coffee in the room is complimentary. It is Keurig, so you can bring your own pods if you want. The Wi-Fi is also complimentary. We found it fast — I was able to stream video, but I don't know if the hotel was full. Seems like most of the rooms face either I-95 or the "scenic" shopping center. You're NOT staying here for the view. :) You are staying here because it is convenient to the other things you want to see. That said, it is just 10 minutes to Old Town Fredericksburg. Every store imaginable exists within a 2 mile drive, so if you forget something, you can get it. The Wegman's is next door, so you can wait until you arrive to get food. The best part of the hotel was the staff. They went above and beyond. Upon arrival, my wife had flowers and needed a vase. They found one we could borrow. Check-in was very friendly and fast, and they seemed to go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The "convenience store" next to the front desk is tiny, especially when you consider Wegmans is next door.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a business trip. The room was very nice. Clean sheets, clean bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a Wegmans that is walking distance to the hotel. My check in and checkout was hassle free. I got a late checkout at no additional charge. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonable priced and clean hotel.

Pull out sofa had urine stains. Bedding on both queen beds had hair in them. TVs were inop. Went to dine in the hotel to be told by the person on staff that they could not make any of the drinks on the menu and also couldnt not answer a single question concerning the food menu. For a long time Hilton rewards member I was shocked at the staff, facility and the lack of concern for the guests of this facility.

Because I stay in Hiltons a bit I was very excited to find they upgraded us to the Presidential Suite. With tax the room was 170.00. There was some wear in the carpet, one lamp did not have a knob to turn it on. The staff was friendly and all in all it was fine for a one night hotel. If you do stay here, it is walking distance to Wegman's, a super upscale grocery store. We ate at the Seafood bar and it was a great experience. This is my second time here; for one nighters, I am still happy. If it is multiple nights, I would opt for the Hampton Inn and Suites (also a Hilton property) about 300 yards away. A bit farther from I95 and even closer to Wegman's so you can walk to Wegman's, get some cool food and cook it in your own kitchen if you like to do that. I do identify with an earlier poster that could not find it on his GPS, that happened to me my first time here.
