Very nice and conveniently located.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for several years. This hotel has rude and non accommodating management. They did not exemplify the characteristics of what Hilton stands for.
Even when we lost power for several hours we were told they would NOT compensate the guests for inconvenience.
Poor customer service and an embarrassment to the Hilton name.

Very clean and a great location for downtown.

Close to shops, clean, nice pool. If you get balcony king you can smoke a cigar on the patio. Nice hotel.

Hampton Inns (and anything by Hilton) have a pretty consistent standard of quality across the board, and I can’t say that I’ve never had subpar experience in one. However the Hampton locations vary by about one star — and this property in Fredericksburg would be an example of the highest star rating in its class. Had a swift and painless late night check-in by a well — staffed front desk. I liked how large and inviting lounge area which also is used as seating for the excellent complimentary breakfast (which has a generous four hour window). I noticed other small things about this property that I enjoy too — microwave availability in the lobby, fresh fruit and coffee/tea, high-speed wired internet option in the rooms, and also mouthwash and shower caps available in the restroom. This property is also in a great location right off of 95, with all the shopping and dining imaginable in close proximity. Had a great experience here and can’t wait to return.

MJ is rude and disrespectful. I would never stay here. They should me embarrassed by her behavior. Rude. Rude. Rude.

Stay here if you want MJ to talk ish about you. I have a voice that carries. MJ was talking ish about me in a lobby full of people. I called Hilton. Hilton asked how I knew it was me. I said because MJ came over to say “you known I’m just kidding” when she heard me say I’m making a complaint and called then. This isn’t the first time either. She did the same ish last year but with my friend. I’ll take my money and points and go elsewhere. MJ SHOULD NOT be working customer service. She just cost people their tip.

These are great hotels. Exceptionally comfortable beds! Larger bathroom with a surplus of towels and amenities. The hotel is full equipped with fitness center business center and pool! breakfast until 10 made a difference for us and it was a fine one. The staff was really friendly.

The Hampton Inn of Fredericksburg really knocked it out of the park this time. From check-In to check-out their hospitality game was on point. The hotel is clean, and stacked with added comforts, they made my stay over on my way to Atlantic City relaxing and had me ready tackle the next day. The hotel is located near tons of shopping and dining options it’s proximity to the grocery store was especially convenient. They also offer an extensive free breakfast that included everything from Omelets to smoothies. I’ll definitely be sleeping in one of their comfy beds again when traveling up I-95.

Wonderful room, very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast, a large variety of food. I always try to stay at a Hampton inn when traveling. All Inns are very consistent.

Very impressed. Clean, spacious room. Friendly staff. We’re in town to run the Historic Half… we were given goodie bags at check in. Post race, they extended checkout til 1 and extended breakfast til 11. That is AWESOME customer service. I’d definitely return.

Great place to stay. Nice amenities, beautiful pool and grounds. Fire pit and pavilion to relax was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good : standard hampton bed, breakfast. Bad : service, experience and customer delight. We stayed here for one night, and we were glad that it was only one night. As soon as we arrived, front desk staff wasn't very courteous. Normally water bottles are available at front desk especially for Hilton members, but 'not at this location' according to front desk person. Morning breakfast staff was little better.

Really enjoying the Hampton. Our room with a balcony is spacious and her clean. Definitely a do-over.

Clean and quiet… definitely not attributes one can ignore, and this place offered both. Was in town for a coaching course, and after a busy weekend, this location offered decent respite. Continental breakfast was a busy affair, but there was a decent selection. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the Wi-Fi was good. If I'm back, this will be my first choice.

Very reasonable rates. Spacious suite with comfy bed, quiet and dark room when sleeping. Good assortment for a free breakfast service, and served until 10 which we love when on vacation and not up at the crack of dawn. Right on the main downtown street so close to all of Fredericksburg shops, museums and restaurants. Will stay here EVERYTIME we come to town.

Visible and accessible location not far from main highway. Clean room with all standard amenities. Staff courteous and helpful when called upon. Only complaint being Fox News shown on every TV screen in communal areas including where continental breakfast is served. Second time staying at this location and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, large well appointed room right off 95 about a mile from exit. Left too early to eat free breakfast offered but was able to get a complimentary cup of very good coffee to go. Conveniently located very close to a nice variety of restaurants and grocery stores including Wegmans and gas stations.

We just stayed here over the weekend! It was so great, the young man and woman at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, about where to eat, what to do! Our room was so clean and comfortable! We came back from a fantastic dinner at the place they recommended and they asked us what we were doing for the evening, when we said we weren’t sure, they offered us free concert tickets for a Outdoor concert about a mile away! We were so surprised and excited! We originally were gonna stay next door, decided not to spend the extra money to stay there and chose here! We definitely made the right choice!

My husband received an unexpected package in the mail after returning home from an overnighter in this wonderful hotel. The Hampton mailed him a shirt he had left in the room. He didn’t even realize he had left it. All they requested was postage reimbursement, which we immediately sent. Have stayed in this hotel many times and never miss the opportunity to stay with them. Highly recommend everyone stay there when visiting this fantastic town.

Pool was fantastic staff friendly.

Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great. Only 1 complaint. There was a baby shower going on in a conference room and they took over the pool and were blasting music that had offensive lyrics. Making it uncomfortable for overnight guest to use the pool.

Large spacious clean room and bathroom, fridge and microwave in room, free breakfast, great pool, fire pit by the pool and Excellent location… walking distance to the center of Main Street. The best part was the staff. Tessa checked me in and she went out of her way to make sure my stay was very pleasant. Tracey and Susie are also lovely women. Would definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again. Thank you Tessa!

Front desk staff was very friendly. Room keys make all outside doors accesible. Breakfast had a number of baked goods, cereal, oatmeal, waffle makers, and hard boiled eggs. Mini fridge was a plus. Our room didn't have a tub, but did have a shower. Enjoyed tge premuim channels like HBO.

Thursday night. 2nd floor 9:20 pm. Very nice room with balcony facing fire pit and provilia. Beautiful place. Only $169 a night.

Swimming pool is not in service, ice machine out of service at the 4th… very nice people.

Good place to stay. Quick on and off to highways. Good amount of local stores to choose from. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive and courteous.

To keep it nice and simple this place is amazing. Everyone was so nice and professional. The rooms were immaculate! Very spacious and comfortable beds. You could walk barefoot and even possibly eat off the floors lol. I also want to thank Adam Wagner from Ignite Services for helping me to book this great room. He goes above and beyond helping entertainers like myself find great and affordable lodging.

Fantastic hotel. Inviting beds that are as comfy as they look. Those kind of beds you look at as you walk in the room weary and think "ahhhhhhh" that's gonna be great. Free cookies in the evening. Great breakfast. Awesome lobby that you could go down and work in. It's inviting and decorated gorgeously. Giant fireplace that sadly is still coming in handy with the snow and cold we're getting in April. Bonus is it's very close to a LOT of shopping and restaurants. Double bonus a very welcoming front desk staff. Big smiles and "hello"s every time we came through the door. Wish every hotel was like this.

Also, there are TONS of restaurants and shopping within minutes of the hotel which made it very convenient for my daughter and I. Checking in and servicing of the room were two areas which I consider an epic fail. Rooms need updating as well… disappointing for a Hilton property.

Pool a d Hot tub are down for a few months. No mention anywhere. But still have that 160+ a night price. Save yourself some money and stay next door. 65 a night. With hot tub and pool.

This is the nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed in so far. 11 years old but looks brand new. The staff takes excellent care of it and the rooms are awesome. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definately recommend.

Everything was nice and clean. They didn't hav e a microwave in the room and I wouild have liked more options for breakfast.

Recently we arranged a stay for our client Herb McCandles on their tour while they were performing in Fredricksburg and he loved it! The room was perfect, clean and quiet, and the staff was super friendly even after 2am! There was also a free breakfast in the morning which was a great way to get the day started down the highway. Thank you for taking great care of Herb, and we're excited to book more stays with you in the future!

Did not stay here myself just visited with a friend who was staying overnight and the staff was very welcoming. It is located in a great spot near lots of shopping places. The room felt open and clean.

The rooms were very clean, and having a refrigerator was extremely helpful. The icing on the cake would have been if it had a small freezer section as well. The breakfast the next morning had a variety of foods, and I definitely did not leave feeling hungry.

The breakfast was good and parking was available. It was a good value but some things were not cleaned on arrival.

The hotel is outstanding and within walking distance of several restaurants. The decor is very nice, and the balcony is great for morning coffee. The breakfast was a bit lacking, as there was only bagel breakfast pizzas left at 8:00 AM, while kitchen staff stood around and talked. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Rooms were clean. The balcony was a nice surprise. The pool/spa and fire pit were extra nice, including a slide with the pool. The hot breakfast from Hampton is always great. It's within walking distance to two good restaurants and Main St was TWO blocks away.

This hotel was absolutely horrible, I called and made reservations, the lady on the phone told me that I would be in a suite with 2 queen beds overlooking the pool. Once I got there, they had me in a one king bed suite. The lady who booked my reservation lied, the 2 queen suite didn't even have a pool view. Once the staff realized I wasn't very happy that I wasn't in the room I requested and told I was getting at time of reservations, they became rude and they told me that was the only room they had left so I could pretty much take it or leave it. Our bill with tax was 254 and some change, they charged our card 320 dollars and they couldn't explain the 70$ over charge. Worst hotel and customer service EVER. Hate even leaving 1 star.

What an amazing stay! The pool was great, the road I'm was magnificent! Super spacious and great modern amenities lent to a comfortable and memorable stay. We will definitely be back again & plan on staying longer next time. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay.

They charge your credit card for incidentals at $75 per night plus your room rate. If you can't afford to have your credit card charge a ridiculous amount find somewhere else to stay. The front desk personnel arelost, their computers either don't work or they are confused. I did find out that this incidental charge is hotel policy. Each hotel is different in the amount they charge for incidentals.

Worst night I have ever spent in a hotel in my life! I was told there would be motorcyclists at the hotel when I booked my room. Not a problem since my wife and I have ridden motorcycles for years. But then it started. About 6:30 the bikes came rolling in. Still not a problem but, they parked under the canopy at the entrance of the hotel and took up one whole parking lot blocking 2 or 3 entrances including the main entrance. The worst came when they set up a boom box, started playing LOUD music, screaming and revving their bikes. The sound was actually so loud it vibrated the building. We had to turn our TV up to full volume. Having enough, at 10:00 I called the front desk and was told he was sorry for the "inconvenience. " INCONVENIENCE? An inconvenience is not having towels. An INCONVENIENCE is not having any soap. Then I was told that he, JOSH, couldn't really do anything. So, you tell me you can't do anything about the disturbance that is rattling our room on the 4th floor. We finally decided it was time to go.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. They were efficient and prompt on checking me in and out. Room was very clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

When we first arrived there we were told we were at the wrong Hampton n I asked if t could stay there he told us we had to contact other hotel n cancel first when we did the other Hampton was awesome took over n made us reservations at the correct one the gentleman on industrial drive was a jerk n didn't want to do his job. So kudos to Brittany at Hampton south for making our stay at the correct awesome. The other issue was our king suite bed was the worst. Get new beds Hampton.

Clean new Hampton Inn very close to a convert venue and lots of shopping. Staff was polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and relatively recently renovated. Overall a good place to stay.

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn brand. This one is no different. Great comfy rooms, one of the best complimentary breakfasts, and good customer service. Chocolate chip cookies in the lobby were an added bonus!

We loved the size of our room. It was huge! Close to everything so we could walk. I did think the price was a bit high for a Hampton Inn no matter how nice. Wish the pool stayed open till 10. Staff was friendly. Admittedly the 13% room tax makes it so high tho.

A really stellar experience from top to bottom. The people behind the front desk were extremely accommodating and the room itself was the right kind of large with the right kind of amenities. The kind of experience that one remembers and is like "why would I ever stay somewhere else while in Fredericksburg", which, by the way, is an amazing town. I'm a fan of this place.

Incredible staff, and super clean, nice looking room. My reservation was screwed up (my fault) and made for a day later than I needed it. They switched my night for me with no issue or cost! Something that could've been a nightmare was quickly resolved thanks to an awesome front desk employee. The room was awesome, with a nice, clean bathroom and long mirror. I had a king sized bed and we had a nice fridge in the room. Very nice looking room. The lobby had coffee for us in the morning, and the breakfast included waffles, breakfast burritos, good fruit, bagels, muffins, bread, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and more! Really great hotel experience. They were in the middle of renovating, so I can only imagine it's going to look even nicer next time!

I must have stayed at a different Hampton Inn than these reviewers. It was absolutely awful and nowhere near Hampton Inn standards. If you want to be at the far end of miles and miles of retail and restaurants, that's what you have here, but you give up easy access to I-95. I excuse the renovations going on, but not the lack of fridge and microwave in the rooms, the filthy dark hallways, the clusters of next-door convention center visitors smoking and drinking at each doorway, and the NASTY and tiny pool stuck behind the building next to the dumpsters. If I had not had my 8 year old grandson with me, I would NOT have checked into this location. It is so small and old that I wonder if it was even an original Hampton Inn building? I can't recommend anything about this location, and I always go to Hampton Inn first during my travels.

Room is outdated and dirty. Found toilet cover and seat left in the up position. Toilet paper roll had a few layers left on. There is a black rub mark on the wall. There's construction going on with no dining area. Had to pay full price for such accommodations. We are Hampton Inn members and the receptionist stated that would only save you a dollar. Nothing was offered: no water or snacks. Cookie dish only had 1 1/2 cookies left. Very disappointed.

The location of this hotel was very convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was in the middle of renaming the lobby, but at least they warned you of this on the website. Also, they don't do any during the evening/night so it is quiet. The room was immaculate and the service was good. It was nice to hear the breakfast staff laughing and enjoying their job! The breakfast was very good as well. The only problem was that some construction down the road knocked their cable out for the evening I started, but it was not their fault. The internet had good speed so I was able to make up for it with Netflix.

Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Microwave and refrigerator provided if needed. Outdoor pool. Breakfast wasn't the best, my 11-year-old refused to eat. Baked cookies in the evening. I've stayed here a few times; even though the hotel isn't old, they are already replacing and redecorating. Our toilet did not flush well, this happened on the morning we were leaving, so I don't know if they resolved the issue. It is located near lots of restaurants and stores, including Walmart and Target. The hotel is in a quiet location. I'd stay again.

It's clean, the people are nice but the internet is TERRIBLE. You can get a microwave and refrigerator but they don't come with the rooms.

As they say pictures are worth a 1000 words, however the pictures can not be posted. My husband and I went for a quick get away. The positives I can say is the staff was very nice and the room was clean, but that is where it ended. A clean room doesn't equal a safe room. To list a few items: This was in a upgraded Balcony Room Sink NOT attached to wall, Not drain plug, NO indication of hot/cold water NO outlet covers Shower in DISREPAIR and LEAKS Flooring in bathroom VERY UNEVEN The coffee pot was BROKEN and DIRTY Nuts, Bolts, and Screws were left through the room Do to *renovations NO fridge and or microwave — Which was never stated nor shown on the website to be aware of this. Wallpaper lifting The sliding door is so thin you can hear ALL traffic ALL through the night Just an all around MESS! Ans to sum it up we were told By not 1 but 2 person that we would be refunded the Hilton Honors points, but funny enough we ONLY received back 40, 000 from the 122, 000+ we used. Sham of these independent property owners.

Loved this location I stay at a lot of Hotels and this was one of the nicest for the price. Check in was a breeze the staff was very nice. My room was clean and had a big bathroom with a great shower. The bed was comfy and had a great TV with lots of good channels. Breakfast was also great with a big choice. The egg burritos were awesome! Would recommend this if your in the area!

Good clean rooms, and although our sink was broken, they had good service fixing it quickly. Breakfast was not great either, but that was to be expected from a hotel breakfast.

Sent my wife, kids and our best friend here as they drove down to Florida for the holiday break. I found this Hampton Inn with a quick search in Google and we generally like the Hampton Inn — — who couldn't like hotel points AND airline miles as a double-dip — — so I figured what could be bad. The rate seemed to be acceptable and although my wife attempted to get a better rate — — and although they could not accommodate the better rate request — — they did offer a deal on breakfast which I am told was made to order (rather than the typical buffet style), so it was well worth it. I am told that the hotel was a bit on the noisy side and made for a bit of a tough sleep, but hoping that the breakfast made up for it.

Hampton Inn & Suites Fredericksburg-at Celebrate Virginia is a clean and modern looking property. Very impressed with the service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfy. All the electronics were in working order and the a/c was quiet. Bathrooms were fully stocked and the shower had great pressure. The Wi-Fi was super fast and breakfast was yummy! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. A very nice experience had by all.

Good location for shopping Fredericksburg. Rooms and staff were good. Only minor complaint was that breakfast was lousy. No bacon or sausage and food was bland. We would stay there again.

Water stained walls were very creepy, the entire toilet paper roll set up unscrew and broke into pieces on the floor, the tub drain was clogged so we were ankle deep when showering.

Stayed here during a two-day trip to F-Burg for some wine tasting. It was in a good location, had a great pool and breakfast, and very comfortable, quiet rooms. About my only complaint was that the room type I had reserved 3 weeks prior was not what was given to me at check-in. All the hotels in town were booked, so I was stuck with the room given to me.

Love Hampton Inn's but this has to be one of the best. We had a large wedding after party in town and all of us were totally satisfied. Rooms, Staff and location were all top notch. Wished we could have stayed longer. Alan and Joni Birse.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and beautiful. Pool area is fun for kids. My only complaint is the front desk recommended a restaurant across the street, Kbobs Steakhouse. It was the WORST restaurant I have ever been in. Rude service, steaks overcooked, terrible. I relayed my experience to the front desk and she didn't care. Hotel is great. Just eat elsewhere.

Got to the hotel and the toilet was running in the would not fix it. They said it would be the next day before it could be fixed. The only other room was smoking and a queen sized bed. I have asthma and can't be around smoke and all they would do was knock off 10 dollars. Eveyother hotel was booked so we where stuck. Staff was very unfriendly and don't care. Never will I stay there again.

Nice new and clean. Excellent staff, pool reminded me of a mini Bellagio. Definitely worth a trip to the Texas hill country After spending $650 a night in the Hilton at Baton Rouge, La this place was a mansion for 1/4 the price.
