Wonderful people nice clean place. Pets allowed very polite owners he comes as soon as you call him if you have a Problem! I would recommend to everyone.

Spacious, clean, and friendly. What else could you ask for? There was a microwave and a mini fridge, greatly appreciated. Very comfortable.

We like red roofs bc the price and being pet friendly. The staff was helpful in giving us a room that was on the 1st floor and towards the end to accommodate us and other guests (our dogs bark at their shadows) great stay.

Clean room, friendly service. Needs maintenance badly. The free breakfast was instant oatmeal, bananas, coffee, cereal. Not enough food for all guests.

I give them a 0 we just came from there worst motel ever would never return there my husband had to unclog bathtub we did everything clean our room the excuse that was used I had a dog lazy people. The service there worst service ever it all started when I asked about housekeeping rude front office dont pay your money to that motel you will regret we had only gone there for work but we will not return. That motel will be ur worst nightmare … they dont want to be bothered for nothing they like been on their phones.

All I need for a night on the road. Clean, good Wi-Fi, plenty hot water, easy access. Decent price. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathtub needs a plug and shower is a bit weak.

We were looking for a place to stop in for the night on our travels and came across this place. The floor was a laminate type. The room itself (we had a king size bed) was really good. Had a abundance of outlets for us to use. Would definitely stay again.

Well I should have known a 54 dollar hotel would be a 54.00 hotel. They did have the mattresses doubly covered with thick plastic mattress covers so I didn't worry too much about bed bugs. Next time I'll spend more.

Typical budget hotel convenient to I-81. Could use some updating, but clean and well-maintained. Easy walk to restaurants nearby.

One night stay passing through, we didn't even want to shower. We are redicard members and stay with red roof often. But we found this one unacceptable poorly kept, poorly updated. We didn't even shower.

Horrible location. Housekeeping just opens guest room door without announcing or knocking and front desk will argue with you. Don't waste your time go to a different location.

Clean, modest place for a modest price. Very comfortable King size bed. Not a great motel, but a very good value. Pet friendly.

Supposedly this place was renovated this year, 2017. It is far from renovated… First I was given a room with someone else's belongings. Room was definitely occupied by someone else. Okay… Mistake… Then given a Superior King that was not updated whatsoever… Old worn out everything. Carpet, beds, paint on walls. Pillows. Just nasty… To top it all off… There was a big ole turd I'm the bathroom… Please don't waste your time. I must say the hotel manager on duty this evening was really polite and friendly. Very apologetic and understanding.

Quiet little motel with good rates. The continental breakfast isn't great, by any means, but it is free food. If you're just looking for a good place to lay your head, and plan on being out and about most of the day then this is the place for you.

Good, cheap and simple motel. Easily accessible and close to Abingdon downtown. Includes simple but adequate breakfast. Friendly staff.

Nice hot water, great water pressure. Clean smell in room. That's about it. Got what we paid for. Zero customer service, staff confused about check in, breakfast was abhorrent. Go to Holiday Inn Express across the street.

You get what you pay for. While the shower water pressure was amazing, the bed was rather stiff and had a liner on it akin to sleeping on a diaper. The "continental breakfast" was closer to Third World. Stale cereal, lack of milk, watered down orange juice and coffee, biscuits hard as hockey pucks, and no waffle batter. The second morning, there was no batter or biscuit gravy, which I should have expected. So, walk over to the conveniently located Cracker Barrel for breakfast, get a good shower in your room and you'll probably walk away somewhat satisfied.

We were traveling with 3 dogs and found this to be a very clean and super friendly motel. The location was very convenient and the room was very affordable. Highly recommend this motel especially for those traveling with pets.

Very nice host and helpful. Rooms clean and restaurants close by. On a one to ten scale I'd give an eight. Great value for you money.

"Nonsmoking" room reeked… and had an ashtray on the nightstand. Yellow stains on comforter. We ended up using our own blanket and pillows from the car. The decor was drab, but that was the least of my problems.

Nice staff, clean smell nice, not enough towels, mattress cover or mattress felt very used, but overall it was nice. Wish they have an exercise room.

Can't get any better than this place to stay for like a one night or two night stay! Thx.

We recently stayed in Wenona, IL in the Americas Best Value Inn, and much to our delight, found exceptionally good accommodations! Our room smelled fresh and clean, the bathroom was immaculate, and everything in general, including the bed, linens, and furniture was clean. The motel was quiet during the night and staff were pleasant, helpful, and very professional. We enjoyed a hot complimentary breakfast the next morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will re-route our trip next time just to stay in the same motel. Great price. Very pleased! Wendell and Laurie Peterson Bristol, TN.

Family of 3 plus 1 large dog needed last minute lodging on a budget. Receptionist was pleasant. Rooms were clean. Only thing. Our non smoking room (with sign on door) smelled stale and smoky. Even on the walls. We requested a different room, and although it was also non smoking, smelled like a guest had smoked recently. Since it was "fresh" we were able to air it out a bit with the door open/ac turned on. Walls did not stench of smoke. We stayed in the 2nd room. If you have severe sensitivity/allergy to smoke, it may take requesting another room. Or hotel. Overall we were comfortable and pleased. Budget friendly with a very reasonable pet fee. We would stay again. Still gave 4 stars because I won't fault the facility for the jerk guests who break the non smoking rules.

Comfortable and clean, food at walking distance, TV out of a 80s sitcom but watchable. Staff was nice. Will stay again if in this area.

This is a budget hotel. Do not expect to be overwhelmed. The location has good proximity to interstate, dining and the Virginia Creeper trail end. The orange juice, yogurt and muffins are good; the coffee, biscuits and gravy are horrible. But it is free. Room was decent. There were no bed bugs — always a plus. Outdated, but had amenities such as a blow dryer and refrigerator. Bathroom tile had significant black mold in grout. Really no excuse for that if you are cleaning properly. We had a non smoking room, but you have to specify so you don't have to sleep in an ashtray. Our friends weren't so lucky. All but one vending machine was broken at the hotel.

Good is they took dog. Bathrooms need renovation. Stay at different town if possible.
