It was a charming visit. Very quiet place surrounded by mountains and rivers. Clean establishment, tidy and very cozy. Great deal from Germán and Margot, the best. Cuisine pa fartucar, rich, lifelong and abundant. 'll.

He doesn't have a Michelin star, but he should have it. It's worth getting off the road if you're walking around and having the experience of eating there. The restaurant is exceptional and very economical.

Great deal, excellent traditional cuisine, hiking trails, amazing scenery. The area is a painting. Very central and quiet to visit Asturias in full, close and fast access to the motorways. To repeat. The Regent family of the Xabú Hostel are the most friendly and always willing to advise places to visit. There are times… It's worth not going to hotels of 4 or 5 stars… Xabú Hostel is that alternative;)

The hostel is very welcoming. The rooms are tidy and regularly put in order. Lunches and dinners are plentiful and wine is also never missed on the table. The hostess is a great entertainer always making sure that they have everything. The kitchen and the touchwood museum set up in the hallways and the dining room are a great + to the place.

One of my favorite places. Restaurant/hotel/museum Supercosy, with a typical Asturian cuisine (cakes, pots, rice with Pitu, Frixuelos, cottage cheese, etc…) Homemade bread, desserts made by them, with their Celtic music background… Located in a quiet and beautiful natural environment… it is those places you enter and you pass the time without wanting to leave it… Family treatment, attended by Margot and her children to the kitchen…
They are experts in mushrooms and the findes the people of the surroundings are passed to savor their pizzas of artisan oven. Highly recommended.

Very well all that is traditional Asturian cuisine… It has a small museum of tools, which brings good memories… You have to see it.

Recommended 100%! Margot and Germán we were welcomed from the first moment with total kindness and closeness, making us feel at home, or better! The hostel is spectacular and wonderful food, and very economical. Cuerigo is a beautiful town and the area is very very nice and without tourism. Ideal for mountain adventures. Across the group we were both in love with Cal Xabú, we will return without a doubt.

In few places I have been so happy as on this site. We have been treated as if they were family, the environment you have a lot of possibilities to make a mountain, swim in the rivers, find medicinal herbs. Yes, to eat to Ca l Xabú and freak out with the cachopo, the mushrooms and the products of his garden. I have already recommended you to several people, and I hope to return myself.

From the day we arrived we felt at home, and exceptional service close, the food. Tremendous. Facilities spacious, fusing the traditional construction with modern. The floor to ceiling windows make you forget that you are under the roof. Add to that the environment is full of mountain routes.

Accommodation is very endearing and well-designed. It combines the traditional with the modern to the perfección. De large windows to the landscape of native forest, you can see the small village in which it is located. By searching this way, we find that someone of very poor people label him as closed, WHICH IS NOT CERTAIN, 10 years ago that is in operation. From here, you can understand the Asturias countryside as well as the industrialized with coal mines. The people who attend are the promoters and is born with the idea of spreading the culture and traditions more ancient asturian.
