This hotel unfairly charged us when my husband checked in for one night, and had a medical emergency in early morning hours. He asked about his bags before ambulance picked him up and was told “not to worry…they would hold them. ” My husband didn’t know what hospital he was being taken to so I called and asked clerk. He told me and I too asked about the bags, and also was told not to worry…they would hold them. After driving five hours to get to my husband at the ER, that afternoon I left the hospital to pick up luggage, and his vehicle. I was told he was being charged an extra night because the bags were in the room, BUT the key no longer was activated. We assumed they would be in a storage closet. Had they told either of us that earlier, he would have asked for help to get the bags into his trunk. The bags had not even been unpacked so it would not have been an issue to put them in a closet. If they can go in a room to clean, they could have done this. They had his email and phone number to send a message regarding the info, but instead they choose no empathy for this situation at all. The hotel keys were turned in at the point of picking up the bags, before check in time so they could have, and probably did rent the room. They were very misleading, they never sent a reservation confirmation and never sent a receipt. In fact they originally charged us $200 for the night we didn’t stay there, and adjusted it to the rate of the first night as the “only option. ”.

Very friendly front desk as well as being very clean. Was near the highway but the noise is not an issue.

It is a really nice hotel, and during these covid times, This was the only hotel that I found that has their pool and fitness center open. Staff is wonderful and there was a warm breakfast as well.

I agree with what others have said about the hotel’s cleanliness and friendly staff, but I wouldn’t have gone so far as to recommend it had it not been for the kindness of Allen from maintenance. I was in an accident while in Abingdon and had to make it home to NC with two broken tail lights that were somehow working. I asked the lady at the front desk for duct tape. Instead, Allen came with his cart and duct tape, had me pull my car to the front and proceeded to tape my tail light back into place! He made me laugh while working on it and made me forget, albeit briefly, about the accident. He went above and beyond to help me, and it made a positive impact on my stay and boosted my impression of the hotel enough to propel me to write this review. We need more Allens in this world — kind, caring individuals who put others’ needs before their own! I hope that management commends and rewards Allen for his service.

So glad we decided to stay here. Super friendly staff. Spotless lobby and room. Bed was super comfortable. Will definitely come back.

It's an amazing, clean, and extremely nice hotel in this little mountain town. I stay here for work every time I travel here. I highly recommend this hotel. The entire staff is top notch!

Super clean and super nice staff!

We stayed here on our way to Nashville. We were given the handicap room by the elevator. It was very spacious, clean, and up to date. However, we could hear the elevator ding when someone called it to our level. Breakfast was diverse and high quality. They had many healthy options. The shared spaces as a whole were very nice.

New hotel. Very good service. Breakfast I closes veggie meat choices. They use glassware as opposed to paper plates etc. Great experience.

This hotel has the kindest staff! Michelle and Amber were so helpful and full of great food recommendations. All the rooms are lovely and very clean. Also a great location, close to Main Street.

We were greeted at the front desk by friendly helpful staff. Found our room to be spacious and very clean. Beds were so comfortable. Plenty to eat on the morning breakfast buffet. A fantastic place to stay!

Good location for dining and shopping. Trendy interiors. Late night use of plumbing above could be heard below. Staff friendly and accommodating with a shout out to Keith for the extra assistance.

Really nice! We loved the double queen room and the extra couch area of room 212. It's a large suite that can't be closed off or separated from the bed area, but still a perfect room for our needs. Very nice. Very clean. Lots of extra blankets, towels, packnplay for the baby, plenty of luggage trolleys, nice outdoor fire area for an outside drink or smoke. Worth the extra money.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and hospitality. We travel to Texas and Arkansas to visit family and we're from Connecticut. Throughout our travels we like to stop at get respite every 7 hours… as to enjoy our trip. We were 100% thrilled with the fact that it was quiet and comfortable. We have marked this hotel as a must stay at for all future trips.

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff were great — friendly, helpful and always busy. Rooms were super clean with all amenities and very comfortable. The breakfast was full of many healthy options. I highly recommend this facility.
