Panguich is a throwback town. Mom & pop businesses are the norm. Not a chain restaurant and the only chain motel looks nothing like its other hotels. Sundays are like a ghost town. The Purple Sage is a little pricey for such a modest place, but it is clean and neat. No amenities.

I didn't stay here, but I lefty keys at an event that was next to the hotel. The customer service here was amazing. I called the desk and spoke with the clerk. She offered to next day the keys (for free), but I needed them the same day. I was an hour away, so I drove back. The lady was very sweet.

Very friendly staff. Beds are great. Wifi. Shower has lots of pressure and hot water. Great location, easy parking. Rooms are dated. They are installing fiber optic internet now.

My wife and I were on a 3 week road/camping trip through the Southwest. After some tough hikes in Zion, we decided we needed a break from the tent and a bed for a good night's sleep. We got that and them some at this quaint little motel in a wonderful little town. The rooms were very clean, and the owner was just lovely! In fact, we were a little sad to leave the place behind. If you're passing through, it's gotta be the best place in town to stay! I know it'll be my rest stop if I ever make it back out that way again.

Accommodating place between Zion and Bryce, a decent place to spend the night. We checked in a little after 10 pm, and we were surprised that they were still awake for a small town. The bathroom and towels were clean and nice, the tile on the bathroom floor looked new. Besides that, we had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi and the water in the shower only ever got warm (not hot).

A terribly American motel as you would imagine: a tad dated, but so quiet and functional. A good Wifi, appreciable, but no fridge (?! ) however. A moderate price worthy of a road trip. Friendships of France!

Stayed there one night only. All was good. Clean place good bed. Only thing I wasnt so ok with was that when you turned on the heat it would smell of something. Perhaps filters should be cleaned up. I ended up seeping in the cold coz the bedsheets are thin as paper too :). All in all if I were to go back id probabily stay again.

This is a small, quaint motel and we stayed here because of the name. The room was small, but very clean and well-taken care of. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. There were 50's style bistro sets in front of each room and we were able to eat dinner outside. I found it charming.

This is a relatively small motel in terms of number of available rooms. The owner is a very kind individual and requires you to come in prior to 10 pm to check in. For anything later, he requests that you call him in advance. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were also top quality. Overall, for a motel in such a small town, I'd give it a five star rating.

Excellent little motel and location, my bf and I stayed for 4 days and it was very quiet and clean — — I can honestly say it was better than bigger hotels I've stayed at that cost twice as much. I would recommend.

Really great room for the money! It's an older room but it was clean and had a hair dryer and coffee pot… the necessities! The beds were a little on the hard side for my taste, but for the price we paid I'm not complaining. The lady at checkin was very helpful in finding us a place to eat in town. I'd stay there again.

This motel is rated "fair. " It's like a Motel 5! It was quiet. This place makes me laugh. It's OK if you are going "cheap" and you're by yourself. I think the room was $35 excluding tax.

Chose this motel in Panguitch after reading reviews. We were pleased with the room. I was a little nervous going to the room because the stairs and landing were in bad shape, with worn out exterior carpeting, but all was well in the room. Comfortable clean beds, clean bathroom, excellent shower. TV was small, but worked fine with a good picture. Cannot expect any better in a small town with the lower prices. Great host and hostess in the office. Rated excellent because of the price. You cannot expect Marriott unless you pay Marriott prices. For the price, this was as good as it gets.

We found the attitude great, rolled in late and the front desk called all over town to find a place for us to eat. Room (#5) was smallish but comfy and clean, pleasing decor, comfortable king bed, nice and bright with windows on both sides of the room. It was a bit chilly when we arrived, but the digitally controlled heater worked perfectly (which is always a plus). There was coffee and the TV had good reception and lots of channels. The free Wi-Fi was easy to set up with great speed (and was offered without us asking for it). Over all, a very respectable place. Their website is outdated though, and does not do the place justice.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Purple Sage Motel. Even though it is older and small, it had a nice interior, was very clean, and the owner made us feel very welcome. If you are looking for a fancy resort, this is not the place for you. But if you would like a nice, clean little place to stay with the ambiance only a small town can offer, this place is perfect. The bed was comfortable and cable TV good. It is also convenient to drive to Bryce Canyon from there.
