Nice Big Beds! Close to Walmart.

We enjoyed our stay in a suite for a family of 5. Room we're Clean, comfortable bed's, had a slight smell but perfume fixed the problem, cold Ac, pool side view (pool felt amazing & clean), quiet, and friendly customer service. Didn't get breakfast due to late start but smelled amazing! Enjoyed our little get away from home. We will return on our next get away! Great pricing for Stay!

The room smell bad and they start whit noise at 7:30 The idea to get away from home is to relax I reques a two queen beds and they give me a Handicap room smell humid

The receptionist and workers are very knowledgeable and helped us find fun places to go and eat! Very friendly staff!

The staff is friendly, the lobby is very nice, but the rooms leave little to be desired. The room: smelled of mildew, wood like tile floors (humidity doesn't work well with these floors, or the floors were just dirty), thin bed sheets, small pillows (bring your own), blow dryer works, but had a weird smell when running, shampoo and soap are in a dispenser in the shower (they're actually not too bad, but no goodies to take home for donation to troops or shelters). The room had a nice look upon first sight. The breakfast was pretty much gone by the time we got to it (around 845). Breakfast is over at 9. The girl was very nice, extended the breakfast another 30 minutes and made more eggs and hashbrowns. Overall, the motel is nice, but not my first choice.

It's okay. Very simple and plain and breakfast was okay. Waffle maker was broken and the pool was closed. Room was clean and beds were okay. It was enough for our one night stay. One could do better but one could also do worse so it's in the middle.

Only reason for a 2 star rating is because the pool was nice and clean, arrived there and they were doing some renovations to the place, but the floors weren't swept up so you tracked debris back into your room. Entered the room and went to adjust the thermostat on the AC and almost fell through the floor there was a hole in the floor that was probably being held together with carpeting. This morning was awakened by a maintenance person wanting to hang emergency exit signs on the door. Also not sure who's doing the renovations but they installed the carpeting before finishing the sheetrock not wise. Oh and the room for one night was almost 200$ ridiculous for a hotel in Port Lavaca! Supply and demand I guess with all the work going on at Formosa.

Our room had a leak coming from the ceiling. The room smelled like urine when the AC was made slightly warmer, and the pillows smelled like sweaty man head. The continental breakfast was fine. I would have liked some eggs with my salt. That's not a typo. The eggs were so salty I felt thirsty afterwards.

Evidently they are working on rooms, they did have some Harvey damage. Having said that our room was clean and cool. Couldn't tell you if TV or phone worked because we didn't use them. Oh, take your own shampoo because they only put out bar soap and have a liquid soap dispenser by the sink. There wasn't kleenex in the holder, but did have a stocked coffee maker. The continental breakfast was better then some hotels we've stayed at. The young lady at the desk was a smiling sweet heart!

Placed reservation using the BW web site. Stated that I needed a room that allowed a Pet. I have a Golden Retriever that is 16 years old and was my wife's "shadow" until shed died in February. Now he's my shadow. Reached Hotel at 11 PM and was refused a room based on "no pet rooms available". Thank God for the La Quinta.

I was pleased with my stay until I got ready to che k out, the Saturday I checked in the front desk clerk took 2 one hundred dollar bills and put them in an envelope, I previously had not stayed at a best western so I was unsure of the protocol, she gave me my room keys with no receipt or change so I figured that would happen at close out, now I have to stay here and wait for however long to find out what happened the can keep the change I just want my receipt so I can leave.

Everyone was friendly, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Normally I dread sleeping in hotels since I'm spoiled by memory foam at home. I had the best sleep I've had all week. Breakfast was delicious too. Waffles with toppings, scrambled eggs, biscuits & sausage gravy, breakfast sausage, assorted breads, yogurt, cereal and milk, and juices. They had some minor renovations going on, so the pool was closed, but I didn't even bring a swim suit. I love that they have eco friendly soap, and shampoo pumps in the bathroom. If I'm ever in town again, this will be my first choice.

I would have given it a better rating, but there was some black mold growing in the shower.

Good location, only a couple of miles from down town, good sized rooms, and better than average hotel breakfast.

Poor service and the breakfast was actually cold even though we came really early. Plus the room was actually horrific mainly the walls l. Not only that, but our room was cleaned out before we even checked out at the front desk aswell. So for future references don't think your going to get quality service.

Simple hotel with small pool. The breakfast is good. Coffee maker and tea maker in the room, as well as a refrigerator. The furnishings are well-equipped and the bathroom could also be refurbished.

Every rude manager that dose not know the billing system. After She gave me the run around over price she tried to tell me that my card was not billed, the bank had already told it was she told me my bank was wrong they weren’t she was. If management is poor along with being rude I will never stay there again.

Was woken up about 4:30 am by a noise in the room. Thought it was my imagination but then heard tapping sounds across the tile floor. RAT! Found one of husbands candies and hid under the TV stand and dresser. All we heard was the darn rat nibbling through the wrapper. Called the night clerk she heard it too. I know they had a hurricane recently but for the cost of the room they can afford to call an exterminator.

The staff is friendly. The hotel stinks because of the flood from Hurricane Harvey. My biggest issue is I’m a rewards member but they will not give me my rewards points! I have filed a complaint with the Texas attorney generals office. The fact is they have signs and posters through out the hotel about best western rewards, but then when you try to get them it’s a no-go! I would definitely advise people to avoid this location. I’ve never had any issues with best western. My job takes me all over the country. This location is pathetic.

Place was under renovation because of hurricane harvey. So I understood they were short on rooms. We were working in the area and needed a place to stay for a night. A/C unit in our room didnt work. Told lady at front and were told they didnt have any other rooms available. Didnt even offer a fan or anything.

When I arrived I was welcomed by the maintenance crew saying I will be assisted shortly. After 20 min the manager walked out from behind the desk where I had heard he joking on the phone. She then argues with me about how I am wrong and did not reserve my handicap room. She then puts me in a suit for 129.99 a night raising my quoted price by 200 dollars because they had my reservation wrong. I then get to the room to notice many things wrong with the room to which they insured me that they will be fixed. 3 days go by and nothing had been fixed along with the fact that I looked up and noticed big white paint spots with mold growing through. I went to speak with the manager to which I was given two options. Change rooms (keep in mind I only have one leg and a lot of stuff in the room) or check out and go to another hotel. This was the worst customer service I had ever had. I do not recommend this hotel AT ALL.

WORST EVER hotel experience. The room smelled of mold, there was urine on the toilet seat, we booked a room with two beds yet we only had one set of towels when we asked for another set the lady at the front got an attitude with us and asked us to do the housekeeping and take them the dirty set of towels. Well at the end of the day I take all the towels that we have used so we can get a new set of towels to use the next day. There wasn't anybody at the front desk when I went so I waited a little bit to see if somebody would show up so I can let them know that I left them all the towels that we had and that we needed new ones. After waiting about 10 minutes I decided to look around and see if I found anybody to help me I heard someone in the breakfast area and I thought it was housekeeping but turned out to be the lady that was supposed to be at the front was in the pantry snacking on the food. After I told her that we were without towels and we needed some clean ones she said with an attitude "well I will have to check with my manager" after we waited about an hour for our towels I went again downstairs to check what was the status on getting towels after I explained to her that my family and I were without towels now she threatened me and said if I didn't leave that she would call the police I told her go right ahead and call the police over towels.

Extremely disappointing! General manager Laura is rude and unprofessional. Every year we would stay here. My son's birthday is this weekend and he was used to this hotel. We drove most of the morning… time to check in. NO ROOMS where ready. Manager said leave or I will cancel your room. She did and she called the police. Wow … if you do want to stay here … dont! Not only will I not be staying at this Best Western, but I will never stay a a Best Western period.

Hotel was nice as always, however still not a fan of the fake eggs but that's pretty much all the mainstream hotels. Side note, they started putting in little soaps in addition to the pump able shower soap and shampoo/conditioner. So if you prefer to lather with a bar or loofah, You are covered.

Easy check in and easy check out. The breakfast was decent. They had make-your-own waffles, sausage, eggs, hash browns (the hash browns were awful though), one day they had biscuits and gravy. The pool was nice with a small rock fountain and large palm tree. The pool area was set up nicely. The staff was friendly. Super easy location for getting to the beach. We had a nice visit.

The accommodations were excellent but the front desk clerk who received me was super rude. I'm not a confrontational person so I went on with my business but felt harassed. Very unwelcoming.

Not a motel best western; entance doors are all located in a hallway. Good breakfast.

No hot water in my room! How convenient is that for a morning shower! Rooms were clean and comfortable but not worth the price.

Really good motel with a fantastic breakfast, right after the bridge entering port Lavaca. Very close to a couple of good eating places.

Was a surprisingly pleasant stay at this best western. Plenty of parking, free breakfast, and rooms were comfy. Although the rooms do echo more than I would like. Overall not a bad value for the price. Dani was very helpful and informative at the front desk.

I travel out of town all the time, I usually try to stay at Best Western or one of the choice hotels chains, this is a very nice Best Western, very clean and in a good location, staff is very friendly and helpful.

Cool comfortable room, free Wi-Fi & free breakfast. What more could you ask for? Maybe more commercial free channels on the television?

Stayed here when the wife and I ran down to Port Lavaca to purchase my new truck. Clean joint, nice staff, nice folks, they had a grill out back and didn't mind my dog being with us. Thumbs up all around.

Very clean and the rooms are pretty large. My friends and I went down to go fishing and we grilled out behind the hotel near the pool. It's a nice set up with a b-b-q pit and patio. You can see the bay from across the bay. Good location.

It is a Best Western. I should have known better.

Basic list as follows: room not clean (food left on table when I checked into room and coffee grounds in the coffee maker), hair was in the "clean" towels, the de-humidifier was full of water and not working until I emptied it myself, and I shared the room with many crickets. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, but I think they charged way too much for a dirty room.
