Nice view very nice place to relax.

We just came back from a funeral for a friend of ours. We decided to put his son up at the Holiday Inn in Kemah Texas. While 7 of us were at the restaurant and bar remembering our friend Tim, 5 of the 7 were having drinks and myself and another were the designated drivers. All of a sudden this rather loud and rude woman came in and started yelling at us about smoking in the restaurant. None of us had cigarettes and one person had their vape on the bar. This person rudely kept yelling about no smoking and then told the bartender to cut our group off. Myself and the other DR only had water and the others only had 1 drink each. This person kept yelling rudely at the bartender who was obviously embarrassed and scared. I asked who was that obnoxious and rude woman and the bartender replied that it was the general manager. We paid the bill and left feeling sorry for the bartender who was still visibly shaken from the incident. If we had not already paid for our friend to stay there we would have put him and his girlfriend up at another hotel. This was a very sour note to end a sad day. I really hope the manager who I found out is Donna Fuller is very happy with herself. I will never go there again that is for sure! I just feel bad for anyone who works for such a nasty person!

I booked this hotel through a third party website that I have used for years. I attempted to cancel my reservation due to an unexpected work related schedule change. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get this done with no success. The general manager was less than helpful and without empathy. Heads up if you're considering staying here!

We've stayed at this Hotel twice. Like that it's walking distance to the boardwalk. Very clean and awesome customer service.

Disappointed with policy — charged me for room — I called to cancel reservation last week after family death postponed my trip. All other travel partners gave me refund or points for future use. Southwest Airlines was the best. Holiday Inn advised that they had no control over individual properties. I am a spire elite member and was surprised by the tone and policy. I will be looking into other hotel groups.

Excellent hotel. Very clean and quite. Good location. Shuttle service to resturants and Kemah Broadwalk. Friendly staff.

Water pressure was low, shower head was worn out, 3 TV's. Limited channels and some worked in certain rooms. Refrigerator didn't work properly. The only plus is location.

Close walking distance from Kemah Boardwalk's fun & nearby restaurants, pubs & activities, friendly & helpful staff, nice clean, well appointed & comfortable room. Breakfast was quick & tasty. Truly enjoyed my relaxing stay. Will definitely be back!

Truly enjoyed our stay. The pool was clean and the kids had a blast. We were picked up by a taxi golf cart and brought to the boardwalk. Great location you have everything from food to target to a liquor store walking distance from the hotel. Nice staff and beautiful two room suite. Thank you for an amazing stay! We will be back.

Nice location to a fun time in the area, rooms clean, staff great, 3:00pm and room haded been cleaned. Had to call for clean towels. Coffee maker in room didn’t work.

We visited on 8/18 and were greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet as well. For the price paid you should get more channels on the TV and the TV in and of itself could be bigger. The "FREE" breakfast is actually an added charge $15.99 I believe and for that price I would have expected a better tasting breakfast with a spread similar to maybe say a restaurant buffet. Otherwise I would have given, 5 stars. I suggest foregoing the $15.99 "free" buffet and eating up the street. But yes for convenience to the boardwalk and some nice bars/restaurants, the friendly staff, quietness and comfort I give it 5 stars.

Check in was fast, the employee was friendly, and the hotel was clean and nice. The Kemah boardwalk and several bars, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. After a long day, coming back to an extremely soft bed was fantastic!

A very nice and clean place to stay. Friendly staff we will be coming back to stay. My daughter loved the rides on the boardwalk. She came back to the room ready to swim in the pool. Kemah is a nice place to visit and lots of great food.

Great location. Less than stellar staff. Restaurant not open for breakfast as advertised (6am). Front desk not informed of how the back door entrance works during off hours. Sinks don't drain. $200 per night cannot be right.

Very nice clean hotel! The morning breakfast ends at 9am and they told quite a few people the wrong time. Otherwise it was a very good stay.

The location was great and the rooms were clean. The staff was also friendly. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the hotel restaurant. They were out of many items on the menu and didn't have substitutions so it was very limited.

LOVED staying here, beds are super comfortable. Front desk staff is very nice, nice lobby etc and also walking distance from Kemah Boardwalk. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Was a wonderful venue! We stayed the night there for a cruise we had the next day in Galveston. The hotel was much cheaper than the ones in Galveston. The room was spacious and clean. We had 2 queen bed and a wonderful bathroom! Highly recommend, especially if you are going to Galveston because it is only 30 min away.

My husband and co worker just booked a room there. As they are both CHL and NRA members, they were shocked to see a 30:06 sign on the door. It's a shame you will let the crimals carry but not law abiding citizens protect themselves! Maybe you should rethink your views…

Poor customer service. The whole experience was disappointing. Front desk refuse to provide additional pillows, beds were extremely uncomfortable. Restaurant staff inattentive. Their main concern was weather I could afford to pay for our meal. No silverware on table nor condiments. I had to take those items from other tables. I kept asking for management but we were told there she was on vacation or something like that. This was supposed to be my birthday gift. Don't plan to visit this venue again.

We had a two bed suite for $179 for a o e night stay. Now that's a lot of money but, the reason why I'm giving this hotel 5 stars is because the room was worth $179. The staff was very helpful, understanding and, gave quality service.

Nice place to stay. Location was perfect. Staff was great. During my stay the ac unit went out. They installed a new one in minutes. Definitely recommend.

Only issues were we booked the 2 room suite and there was no kitchenette. The other issue was parking… not enough indide the gate, so had to park outdide gate. Other than that, it was great with great staff.

This hotel is in a great location and all of the rooms are clean, well kept, and up to date. They rarely accept reward nights here. The rooms are fairly quiet and I have never experienced any problems.

Hotel was very clean and nice. Wanted to stay near Kemak Boardwalk and the hotel was about 3 to 5 blocks away. Also wanted to be near Space Center and it's only about 10 minutes away. Lots of restraints to choose from nearby including one in the hotel. I did make the mistake thinking we had a free breakfast but not at this hotel. Buffet was 8.95 per person. Decided to go to Whataburger about 5 minutes down the road. This hotel is also close to a Super Target and a Super Wal-Mart. We did go visit Top Golf which is about 15 minutes away and a pretty drive through a nice downtown are.

All-around great experience. Holiday Inn remains a staple. Buffet is a little barren compared to other ones I've been to but the room experiebce was quite enjoyable. Also, free Wi-Fi.

Terrible people to work for. Do not care about anyone but themselves. New GM and supervisor have no clue what they are doing. Only want to write people up and watch surveillance all day. Had a funeral to go to and was told I needed something in writing to prove my Step Mom had died. What a joke! Do not recommend staying here nor working here. If you only knew what I knew or eating at the restaurant.

Every time I stay here it's wonderful. The staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is clean from your walk up to the rooms they really care about where they work.

Great service, very clean room, and the price for the room was $10 cheaper on Holiday Inn wedsite than it was on priceline. So I definitely will be coming back in the near future.

So far, not so good. Exercise room is hot and TV remote does not work (nor are there buttons that I can find on the side. ) Breakfast prices are ridiculous (we went to McDonald’s). Not even coffee available in the lobby. The room was OK although a bit tight for $150 per night. Had to safety pin the curtains closed to keep bright parking lot light out of the room. (The curtains did not “meet. ”) No tub in the room. Internet is horribly slow and you have to log in almost every time you use a device. On the positive side just to be fair, beds were normal holiday inn quality. Air conditioner thermostat worked fine. View of the Kemah lighthouse and Texaco station were very nice, and our car did not get broken into overnight.

Beautiful hotel, Great rooms and friendly staff. Restaurant isn’t great. Ok food and unhappy waitresses. Stayed here after Hurricane Harvey and they were busy. Probably not the best time for ratings. Close to Kemah Boardwalk.

Very clean and classy establishment, and great staff. Everything you need and more is within walking distance and perfect location if you are having fun at the Kemah Boardwalk.

The hotel lobby is beautiful. The room looked nice, but the floor was kinda wet (probably from the recent hurricane Harvey) and smelly and the a/c didn't work so well and was loud. The restaurant in the lobby was terrible. Staff acted like they were afraid of customers, and disinterested. Front desk staff were very nice, though.

I am rating one aspect of this hotel here, in the following. The bar manager. Great guy. We had several exchanges at different times. On one exchange, there was a misunderstanding about my order. The manager cleared it up quickly and saw to my satisfaction at the new outcome. Later, I came to the bar 6 minutes after the kitchen closed. I basically stated that I was very hungry, the day had been long on work. I mentioned "…even a pizza", to which he replied "Pizza? I'll make you a pizza. Pepperoni or cheese? ". I was so happy to get a hot meal This was al during the flood from hurricane Harvey. He helped me have a better night, fed, warm, and sustained. My gratitude.

It is a great place Witt JB good quite rooms not forgetting their comfortable beds.
I come back again and again whenever in the Houston area.

I had a wonderful time at Holiday Inn in Galveston, Texas. The staff were very helpful anf engaging. The bed was soft and warm I will definitely be returning.

The front desk gentalman (Nathan) was very polite and extremely helpful. The facility was very nice and clean. The location was minutes from Kemah boardwalk Although everthing was, for the price I think breakfast should have been included with the stay.

Front desk people were very nice, lobby is very clean. Room's are clean. Water pressure in our room was very week. The parking lot is well lit.

Great hotel and proximity to the Kemah Boardwalk. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished & nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and the food was good. We will stay here again instead of the Kemah Boardwalk Inn on our next visit to Kemah.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. Me, my husband and our 3 kids ages 10 to 13. Upon arrival we was greeted by a very nice gentleman. He upgraded our room to the suite at no extra charge! Very clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant!

We stayed here because it was just a short walk to the Kemah Boardwalk! The staff was very polite and the rooms were very clean and cozy. The hotel had alot to offer in terms of facilities, they had a 24 hour gym, a restaurant, a laundry room, and a 24 shop with snacks and drinks etc.

Ive stayed here 3x and the service has treated me like a welcome friend each occasion. It is a very clean and casually refined hotel.

Not one friendly face, surely not a family friendly place. The over age bartender belittles wait staff in front of whole hotel restaurant, and the food tastes horrible. This is not a welcome, warm friendly environment. Not one friendly face, not even at the front desk. These people are miserable or hate their job or hate people, either way the professional thing to do is fake being friendly. Goodness gracious, I should pray for these people. Really wish I could just go home. On a lighter note, the hotel room is clean.
