Great location to airport. Very short ride. Less than 5 min. Clean and comfortable beds and great clean bathroom.

I visit quite often and each time I have chosen this hotel as my preference, the staff is always nice and friendly. The hotel itself is very well maintained neat and clean. I also with the airport being near by it's very quiet. Only negative I would add was the fact that complimentary breakfast is not offered but the hotel is not far from places to grab a bite. I would still recommend hotel overall.

Best night's stay ever! We will be back. Clean, quiet, professional, fabulous service, reasonable price, and centrally located. Stopped several places that had higher prices. But they were not half as nice and they were sold out! I'm so glad we stumbled upon this Double Tree. This will be our go to place whenever we are in Houston.

Excellent hotel choice if you're traveling for business in the area. It's location provides not only quick access to the airport but also downtown Houston is a short drive away. Service is what you'd expect from any Hilton hotel excellent. There's also a restaurant in the hotel that does room service until 11pm. Great if you want to stay in your room and relax after a long day. Breakfast is not complimentary which I thought was odd but the price was fair ($14 full buffet) so I didn't mind. Rooms are great. Beds are comfy and if you ask you can get a room overlooking the airport so you can watch planes come and go.

Clean yet dated hotel with soft, comfy beds and pillows. Staff is there to do their job, haven’t seen anyone really friendly or inviting yet. To use a microwave you have to go to the restaurant, sign a waiver, wait at the desk while they heat up your food and everyone stares at you. It’s kind of awkward in that respect. Other than that it’s a good place to lay your head to get some rest. Almost forgot, the floor feels dirty but that’s expected as it is well used so bring your shower shoes.

The three employees we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Pillows were comfortable and room was nice and clean. Would recommend.

Very comfortable, clean room. I was surprised that there was no airport noise despite how close we were. It was easy to get to and from the airport with shuttle that runs every 15 minutes.

Nice hotel but horrible reservations service. Due to system maintenance we were unable to check in even though there were rooms available. There is literally no system in place to override the system or check in manually which is ridiculous for a major hotel chains.

Rooms are super clean and the staff are really nice. The happy hour option they have with free wines and snacks are one of the main reasons I LOVE visiting here. There are also many places to eat within walking distance and if you are going for a night out on the town, there are plenty of bars/clubs that are close in proximity.

Nice hotel with a nice pool area and so close to the airport. The room had a decent size with a comfortable set up. Friendly staff.

I had to go to the grand ball room for a formal event. Dress code was suit and tie for men & I just about passed out. Zero A/C on. It was so cheap of them.

Excellent fresh buffet style food. Waitress was funny and engaging. Bacon was perfect!

The staff were great and the rooms were tidy and generously sized. The restaurant is attractively decorated, but the meal was too reminiscent of airplane food for my preference; most components were previously frozen. The staff did understand food allergies and dietary restrictions. The beer and wine options were ok, but nothing to write home about. The beds were reasonably comfortable, but the pillows were totally amorphous and squishy — my head was either on the mattress or my neck was craned at an odd angle. The airport shuttle also took 25 minutes to make the trip to the airport that's only 3 minutes away on Google maps.

Rooms are modern and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The gym is adequate for business travelers. Breakfast buffet is 3 3/4 out of 5.

The hotel is a lot larger than I thought it would be. There were a lot of people and its very close to the airport. The property is very clean. It feels more like an upscale mid level hotel than other Doubletree's I've stayed at. But overall its a nice conference hotel.

Horrible, the worst of hotels that I’ve ever been to. Is not very luxurious, but is decent. However, as much as I tried to enjoy I could not with such poor service. I went to the pool and it was somewhat cold and I went to ask to the lobby if they had an inside pool or a warmer place, but they didn’t which is fine but I was hoping they would have an inside pool. That wasn’t really the problem but it kind of upset me because I was counting to swim. My problem began at night, when I was calmly resting in the bed that I smelled a very unpleasant scent from the pillow. I smelled the rest of the pillows and they all stank. Is not nice to go to bed with a pillow that smells like sweat and knowing is from another person. That just lets me know the poor quaility that this hotel has. The bad management from the cleaning service and very disgusting. We called in for a change of pillows and they brought new pillow sheets. The problem was solved until I smelled those again and they also smelled badly. The problem in all was that it was such an unsanitary service or encounter that I would not like to attend to that hotel anymore. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating. Like who smells the pillows. I wasn’t the stinky smell rose as I was resting. The problem is also it wasn’t just one or two it was all the pillows. We had a two bed room and all 8 pillows smelled. It was second time in this place and the first time wasn’t bad.

Stay is adequate. Hotel is clean, restaurants are above average for food selection. Caution: Each time I have stayed at this hotel I have had to ensure correct billing and length of stay: — (

Nice hotel with good amenities. But do not let them put you in the "Cabana Rooms". That is near the conference centers and there is a lot of foot traffic and noise between 6am and midnight. The Wi-Fi is also unreliable in this area, but it is "free". The service here is mostly polite but unresponsive. I had to ask 3 times to get my refrigerator and TV fixed. Overall, it isn't a bad hotel, but they do have some issues with customer service.

Stayed here overnight to catch a flight early in the morning. Everything was lovely, the shuttle was able to take us to the airport at 4 am. The Jack in the box next door was nice too.

Very nice room, staff was friendly, and the shuttle between the airport and the hotel was very convenient. The room and hotel were clean and everything we used was in good condition and working. The elevators seemed quicker than at many other Hilton properties.

Hit or miss, literally two days in a row. First night we checked in the front desk was not very welcoming, never recognized our diamond status and forgot to give us breakfast coupons. The restaurant opened 20 minutes late for breakfast the next morning because they were short staffed. The next day we had checked out then came back. Front desk was awesome, breakfast was great, and they even upgraded to a suite.

Went here for a business Christmas party. Hotel is very nice and clean. Service is always good and there in plentiful parking. Have never had a bad experience here!

This was a nice hotel, and a convenient location. The room was nice and clean and super comfortable. It's middle of the road in cost and high end feel, so it was just nice. Staff was nice, and we had no issues. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great place. Very nice staff food is very good and the staff in the restaurant is as good as it gets. The rooms are terrific very clean and new feeling. I will stay here again next time I visit Houston.

Very nice comfortable. A Ms Loretta was exceptionally kind. An emergency caused my having to stay and her kindness was appreciated. Only one thing. If you book online that is considered third party so if you use room service, pay cash. Can’t charge to your room. So had to go downstairs anyway. Not cool.

Very nice, comfortable premise with strongly customer focused staff. If you didn't know this hotel was reinvented as a DoubleTree, you'd think it was still a Hilton Hotel. Highly recommended.

The service has been great. Haven't had any problems but do feel very confident that if we had one, it would be fixed promptly. The breakfast buffet is great and the attached bar is nice and friendly staff.

The room was clean and well decorated, the bed was comfy. They have a pantry for purchase. They have an outdoor pool located in the center of the building. Multiple ballrooms for events. They have a couple restaruants in the hotel and they is a place or 2 nearby. They also have their own bar. They have a gym. They have an airline lounge for the crews to hang out in. The hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the airport next door, not even a 10 minute drive away. Overall, I had a good experience.

I went for a dinner. The food was good. Everyone loved the gumbo. They also had good bread pudding.

I found this place to be amazing, in that, it had a common theme running through all the hallways and every single room. The theme involved planes and everything related to aircraft. So very tastefully done. I wonder who the interior designer is?

I was picking up my folks at Hobby when I found I had another 20 minute wait. Doubletree's parking lot had easy access, plenty of parking, and was seconds away from passenger pickup. Perfect spot to wait since Hobby won't let you park at passenger pickup.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of May, 2017. Unlike other hotels, their bed frame is larger than the mattress, so its hard corner is protruding 6 inches out from under the mattress. And once the bed sheet and blanket are untucked, they drape over the hard corner and making it invincible. Because of this, I walked into the bed frame and it torn a piece of skin off my shin, causing severe pain and some bleeding. Hilton's insurance company stated it is all my fault because 1) I should not have walked close to the bed, and 2) I should not have untucked the bed sheet. And the hotel manager has chosen not to respond to my emails when I tried to resolve this matter with her. A hotel room is supposed to be a place to relax and unwind. A hotel guest should not be on high alert that a hidden oversized bed frame that can cause leg injury is hidden under the bed sheet way below the eye level. Is that too much to ask? Let my leg injury serves as a serious warning to those who plan to stay at this hotel.

I used the parking lot as a waiting area so I could easily pick up my dad from the airport. The parking was easy and the two security guards circling the lot didn't bother me at all. All in all it was a great visit.

It was a short shuttle ride from the airport which was nice. We got cookies on the way in which were delicious. Ordered room service and the food was also pretty great. Had a terrible time at the airport and the hotel made our night much better.

Great customer service at front desk was awesome. Not so, at the restaurant. Restaurant service was slow and the food was bought out at the same time after the waiter asked me if I wanted my soup served first. I asked for a soda and I thought the glass I was brought was water. The waiter asked me if I wanted something to drink after seeing, l had what I thought was water on the table already. He brought out a glass of soda in a much smaller glass. I tried what I thought was water and it was the soda. The service was slow and in consistent. I arrived first, sat for what I thought was a long time without service, then two gentlemen came in the restaurant after me and and their order was taken after mine and I still waited to be a served long after they started with their meal. The restaurant service was inconsistent and slow. The French Onion soup was served with cracked packaged crackers, extremely salty, and loaded with cheese, a lot more than usual. Overall the hotel and front desk staff were Awesome, yet there are several things that restaurant staff could improve on. Brian.

They got us in pretty quickly after a cancelled flight stranded us at the airport. The staff was great and room service until midnight was perfect. The only downside was the shower handle pulled away from the wall and the tub bottom was uneven. The best way I can describe it is instead of flat, the bottom of the tub was wavy like walking on the sand at the beach.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Of course the cookies are wonderful. We had a suite, and it was great. We did have some noise from the airport, sounded like very distant thunder, but nothing to wake you up if you went to bed early. Would I stay there again, yes.

Outstanding customer service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pillows could have been a little more comfortable. The beds, however, we're quite comfortable. I would definately come back.

I stayed at the Doubletree for some business that I had in Houston. The rooms were clean, beautifully furnished and it contained one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. My coworkers and I also had a couple of drinks and food at the bar. While the food was delicious, it was seriously overpriced. My plain Caesar salad, without chicken, was 11 dollars and my single cocktail was 7 dollars. Overall, I had a good expeience.

Nice Doubletree. The airplane are loud, but the airport is across the street. It's clean with modern rooms.

If you need lodging near Hobby this is the place. The hotel is just minutes from the airport. That's very important to me in my line of work. Also the rooms are updated and comfortable.

Pretty rough part of town, but a nice place to stay. The rooms are fairly well updated, everything is clean, and the staff was great. If one must stay near Hobby, go with the doubletree.

The beds were comfortable but the Queen size beds were actually standard beds very small. They didn't offer microwaves for the rooms or have a laundry area on site. They did however offer a third party service to take care of your laundry. Then again there was an issue with another guest having their clothes misplaced and was told he needed to contact the third party venue regarding his missing clothes. Apparently they didn't notify the guest his clothes would be cared for by a third party until they misplaced them.

Easy access to airport and offering a shuttle to the airport and local areas within five mile radius. It does not have a shuttle to the cruise terminals in Houston or Galveston. Taxi to Galveston terminal was $85. To Houston terminal $65. Very good full breakfast buffet was included in our rate. Room was very spacious and comfortable and staff was courteous.

Great place to stay! Very accommodating and exemplary staff. We were stranded in Houston with a canceled flight and no luggage. They provided us with toiletries and were very helpful. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site with delicious food that is very reasonably priced. A shuttle is available for transport to and from the airport. If I ever go back to Houston, I will definitely be staying here again!

Didn't stay here. Was trying to get a room for my daughter who's flight to Austin was cancelled. She is traveling with her small dog. This web site says pets allowed, but when I called to make a reservation I was told that only "service" animals allowed. You need to clarify this on your web site!

Modern, clean rooms. Restaurant available for full breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Two bars as well. Front desk is responsive and helpful. Internet is pretty slow and annoying to reconnect every day. Not many restaurant options with walking distance but quite a few 5-10 mins away.

My company had a business meeting at this location. The facilities and help were quite nice, and the catered lunches were great. Catered breakfast was good (better than a standard continental, but with less selection, and one hot dish). My fellow employees seemed to like the rooms they were provided and did not offer any complaints, but sadly, the area it is in is not the best for seeing the good side of Houston. Overall, a good time, experience, and we will probably use them again next year.

Great! The woman at the front desk gave us double beds knowing without even asking! The room was beautiful.

As usual, Angela and the staff at the Double Tree were awesome hosts. We do two events every year here at the Hobby Double Tree and the hotel and staff are rock stars. My experience was far beyond my expectations. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The beds are so lovely I actually enjoyed my usual insomnia. The front desk people were very charming, helpful and welcoming and kept me well-supplied with my favorite chocolate chip cookies. The dining room help were delightfully personable, ready to answer questions or make suggestions and all with efficient service. I LOVED IT! Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Probably one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The staff were very nice and polite (even after 11pm when most hotels staff are rowdy with sleep deprivation). If I'm ever in Houston again, this is the place to go! Only $60 a night when you get a voucher from Southwest.

Part way through construction, one whole building is done but still finishing up the lobby and front area. The new areas are very nice! Very friendly staff.
