Horrible place. Staying here for a nursing contract. First room the ac leaked inside so the carpet was wet. Second room the thermostat didn’t work so had no ac until maintenance came in. Pool has been closed for a week. Bugs throughout the hotel and in my room. Dirty floors. Definitely do not recommend!

Vehicles get vandalized on this property and there are absolutely zero security cameras.

The Assistant General Manager is awesome, very nice and professional and answered all of my questions about directions in the area and where to eat. She is truly nice and informative. However, the new hotel owners are not on par with other compatible Hilton Properties. There is no hot breakfast, no afternoon Managers Reception where food and Alcoholic Beverages are provided. Had I known this, I would have went to somewhere else and got a better value for my money. The room is a little dated and smells a little moldy. If things do not change for this hotel, it will become a cheap option for the cheapest of clients and not a reputable place to stay.

Great room. Real clean. Walking distance to the theater and restaurants. Ladies at the breakfast section were awesome! Real clean, great taste, and on top of everything. Definitely will stay there next time around there!

Great central location. They got us in quick after a different reservation fell through. Very polite staff. Rooms are big and clean. Love the suite with a kitchen and separate sitting area. Great when traveling with kids!

Was good for our dog, sad other pet honors don’t pick up the poop, they have doggie bags and a good place for your pet, I guess a good place to bring your 4 legs friend.
We have to ask to someone to come and pick up the trash on my room.
Yesterday at the pool youngesters was smoking marijuana.
I been on homewood several times, this time is just a little nightmare.

This hotel is great, especially if you have kids or you're traveling with a group. The breakfast is awesome because the food is hot, fresh, and so tasty. The evening manager's reception is good for a light bite to eat and endless wine and/or beer. The rooms are wonderfully clean and spacious.

Hotel is a little hard to find, hallways were hot and rooms need some updating but overall had a good stay. I do want to acknowledge that Michele did a fantastic job during the manager's reception and breakfast she is an awesome asset to the hotel. She made sure everything was refilled right away and was very polite to us. Good Job Michele!

The Homewood Suites was a great surprise for a last minute trip. Rhonda, the guest services clerk, was nothing but amazing. Thank you for taking care of us at a very unusally late check-in. The room was clean and nicely cooled. We stayed in a king size suite. The suite has a sofa area and a kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. A little something for everyone and family friendly.

Loved the staff. Location was difficult. Elevator wasn't working. Very Clean. No shelves in the shower, which is difficult for me.

The location was close to many food places and a Walmart. Room was big and spacious. Needed some extra cleaning and dusting in the room. Only stayed one night instead of two nights. I would consider looking somewhere other than here to stay.

The staff was extremely friendl and the best part of a great stay!

Room was great! Clean, convenient, and friendly staff. Breakfast was great as well. One thing, rooms have ceiling fans but switches were broken. Only stayed one night.

We had a Baby Showr thar and had a gd tme. No problms arose and staff wss helpfl.

Breakfast is decent, and they have alight repast most evenings with beer and wine. A few smoking rooms are available. Hotel is large and spread out, and beginning to show signs or wear and tare.

Good place to stay but the breakfast gets old same thing over and over.

The room was clean, but don't plan on staying here with your kids. We requested a crib the day before our stay as instructed by the staff and it wasn't set up in our room after check in. When we asked the front desk we were told we'd need to wait until another employee got there for her shift because "she might know where they are. " Once we finally got the pack and play in our room, it was broken and unsafe for my baby to sleep in. My husband and I had a sleepless night making sure our baby was safe co-sleeping with us in the bed.

The location is nice there are lots of stores within walking distance The staff are awesome.

I stay at this location a while back and this was my 1st and last stay at that place! Place was pretty clean, food was good. The only problem I encountered was one of the house keeping ladies that cleaned my room. I notice someone had been though my language. I asked who was my house keeper and I was told it was a girl name Myra, I don't know why she would snoop around my personal belongings. I don't plan to stay there again!

Rooms are nice and big. There were some bugs and my room. Could be cleaner. My ceiling fan looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Breakfast is good and the Monday through Thursday evening meals are good as well. Overall, not the best but not the worst.

Our stay was horrible.
We didn't get the room we reserved.
The bed was so soft that I wook up with really bad back pain. The door walk area was full of stickers and the exit door for the dog walk area had no reentry.
We didn't stay the second night even tho we paid for it.
However, the staff was kind and friendly.

Our 1St stay there was excellent. This stay the room we booked 3 month in advance was not available when we arrived, even checked again 2 days before we left. Every thing was a go. The 3rd day our room was supposed to be available just to find out that afternoon it wasn't. I was VERY disappointed. We will give it one more shot, but after that if things don't improve we will find another favorite hotel.

Well reading the last comment. I disagree about the bbq pits. They were perfectly fine because we used one and all it had to be was cleaned from a previous use. (If u knew about grilling u must always need to carry a grill brush but they were not rusted) but room was nice and cozy, beds are very comfy… And breaskfast was not great tho. But we would stay there again…

I rented the conference room for a Baby Shower and the staff was very courteous and accommodating. They even let us decorate the day before. I will definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you Homewood Suites!

Hotel is great for extended stays, some rooms (if not all) have full size refrigerators and stove tops. Overall it was a great experience.

The management is super sweet and I hate the food and the beds smell like old grandma.

Room is nice, breakfast and reception was nice. However our room was not ready upon arrival.

Spent the night in Dec 2015 along with a pet and our toddler. Highly rated for location, staff, rates, and cleanliness.

Great service would definitely stay again. Front desk attendant gave me a great recommendation to eat at water street.

Location, service and quality are all good. The only thing is that the Wi-Fi here is terrible. Being that I'm here to stay for 2 months for business I need to pay $4.99 per day for fast internet?

I took my family on a mini vacation on July 28th — 30th 2013 for some fun at the beach. The hotel I would have normally reserved was closed for renovations. Instead, we selected the Homewood from H E (Double hockey sticks). At the time the y were under new management, the previous management had several complaints and were replaced. I didn’t find this out until after I had arrived and checked the reviews. Somehow those reviews are no longer available. Here’s my experience, the room was not clean, there was trash still in the cans, the silverware was not clean, and worst of all the bed was wet. Underneath the comforter, the sheets and mattress was wet. We complained to the front desk, their explanation was condensation caused a moisture build up…. Seriously, under the comforter? After a couple of more inconveniences, the manager told me he would compensate me by giving me additional Hilton points…. Never happened…. I’m on my way back to Corpus for a mini trip before the summer starts and was reviewing hotels and ran across this one again and could not believe the marks they received, 4.5 stars? Unbelievable.

Room was BADASS! Had some issues with room though, let em know, and they comped us a free night stay! Kids loved also.

Stayed July 4th-6th, had a great stay. Very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast and dinner was good. Rooms were clean, contained necessities (pans plates cups silverware) I didn't think it would have. I really like the hotel's location, head to the beach or USS Lexington/Aquarium. Going back in a few months, will be staying here again.

Great first impression! My new home away from home @ Corpus.
