After being a loyal patron for many years with dozens of stays I have had my vehicle stripped of parts even while in valet before several times now. They claim they are not liable and it takes a lot of coercing to even get reparations of any kind. As part of a vast community of people that stay here for work trips multiple times a year I am recommending that nobody risk it and stay at this hotel.

The first floor bar was open for our wedding party and it was wonderfully kept. Chelsea was our bartender and went out of her way to make sure that each of our needs were met and exceeded our expectations. I was impressed with the cleanliness and steps that were taken to ensure our health and safety during a time of uncertainty. After the party was over, Chelsea was so diligent in cleaning the bar and closed the bar so responsibly that I felt it was a necessity to communicate this evaluation.

Ran into some issues; but it was mostly miscommunication between our company and not solely the hotels fault. There was a dirty sock left in my room, for multiple days that wasnt mine… very gross. Other than that very accommodating.

Gorgeous, super clean hotel, the rooms were nice and spacious and the restraunt's food is amazing. The mac and cheese is awesome and so is the burger.

It was absolutely a wonderful experience from the first day to the last. The room was spectacular clean and breathtaking and comfortable. The staff was polite courteous and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was delicious from the sandwiches salads omelet and oatmeal. I had for lunch this salmon on bread and a mixture of shredded carrots etc was so good and tasty. My girlfriend had to have second omelette for lunch too because it was so delicious at breakfast. We had to meet the chef. His name is Nicholas. What a gifted man. All the staff from Andrew, Gorge, etc was all very good. I enjoyed my whole stay. What a phenomenal stay. I will return!

Very nice place, food was great, drinks good and everyone was friendly. Not sure why the high price parking though! Hotel already makes good money on everything else.

The food at the Asado grill was average at best. Steak was huge and tender but lacked flavor. The chocolate cake tasted stale and $150 for two people was hardly worth it. I got a corner room with one queen sized bed even though I booked a king. I will never stay there again. The corner rooms are very small and I was not impressed for a supposed four star hotel. Rooms still had popcorn ceilings.

Best Hotel in Dallas. Excellent staff from Valet to service staff. Room service is Awesome. My husband and I really enjoy the cool rooms, nice big comfortable beds and pillows. Only place we stay when visiting family here. Easy check in and out.

Stayed for 3 days as part of a conference. Staff and rooms were great but the conference facilities and food provided was exceptional. They are currently undergoing renovations so would look forward to seeing the finished results.

Best food I have EVER had. We help a corporate event here and it was AMAZING. Their staff had everything covered. Their catering and cleaning was perfect. The rooms were very cozy!

Beautiful, upper class hotel near downtown Dallas. 30 floors of excellence. Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is a big factor here. Dont count on getting a buggy to get tour luggage… the bellhop is always present and ready to help with your essentials. There is also a really nice restaurant on the lower level. The view of the Dallas skyline is really nice as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The employees were nice and helpful when I was having issues with room assignment issues for my conference attendees. The accommodations were clean and well kept. The staff was great and professional with make sure the rooms were appropriately set up for our conference.

Our company has hosted 2 large events at this facility. All ballroom and breakout rooms have been updated! The city view has an amazing view of downtown and great for hosting receptions or VIP events. The overnight accommodations were great and awesome restaurant in house!

Very nice hotel, rooms are roomy and everything was clean and upscale. Conveniently located directly across the street from the trade show we we're attending. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this is one of my favorites. Service and food in the restaurant was great as well. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness is a must for me! They have a little more to do when it comes to that but the housekeeping are very kind and hard working. The maintenance guy is Awesome and very welcoming. But the front desk manager Chastity is absolutely horrible and I don't know how she has a position in any type of leadership. Manager Chasity needs to be demoted back to a team member and retrained in customer service, leadership, and hospitality services… she definitely gets a F with no effort!

I got there at 1AM after having flight delays, but the staff were really helpful and got me into a great room. The breakfast is outstanding. Best buffet I've ever had in Dallas. This is worth the extra $ to stay here compared with the lower quality places in a 5 mile radius of it.

The renovated rooms are excellent. Very comfortable beds and other modern furnishings await. There are a couple good restaurants in the area but they may be a little farther than one would like to walk. The restaurant on property is pretty good, but I only had lunch there.

We had an amazing stay! We didn’t like the looks of the hotel we originally booked and called the Renaissance. They had us booked in minutes and the staff was so accommodating and warm. Our first two nights we ate out and the rest of the week we are at the Asador because the food is AMAZING. I personally tried something new everyday and was never disappointed! Drinks are great and Lisa was the most wonderful waitress! Our hostess even gave us pecan brittle to take for snacks. I can’t even begin to express how good the wagyu steak was, but if you visit. It’s a must.
The Renaissance will be the place we stay, eat and live our best life whenever we are in Dallas!

Visited the Renaissance for a banquet. The lobby and hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The valet was very efficient. It took no time to get our car back. And they even have self parking with plenty of spots.

One of the nicer Renaissance hotels I've stayed at. Pays to be a Marriott member here and so book your room here already. Great breakfast on level 27 that's free for gold and above and awesome downstairs too. The rooms are super clean and just spacious too.

Coming Good but horible sevice.

Attended a professional social event. The venue was first rate. The food served was very good and service by staff friendly and hospitable. If I had a negative it would be internal signage as it was not clear at least to me on how to find the event. When I asked staff for directions on where the event was they were clear and helpful and I went straight to the event. I hope to attend future events here.

This was my first trip to Dallas. The hotel was chosen by my friend's company for it's proximity to the show site. The employees obviously love their jobs. The service was top notch. The food was on the pricey side; but, very good. As others have stated, expect to pay for parking; both self-park & valet.

Rooms are simple yet luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, and room was very clean. Hotel lobby staff were courteous and check in took no time at all! Bathroom has two sinks (one inside with tub & toilet, and one outside to allow someone to use it while the bathroom is occupied). The view of the downtown skyline is amazing (we were on the 21st floor). Only complaint is there is no fridge or microwave, and the TV guide only tells you the channels not the shows. Be warned it is $18 a day to self park in the hotel's lot and $30 a day to use their valet service. There is a nice restaurant that offers in room service, a pool and fitness center on the top floor. Only noise from neighbors I heard was the doors opening and shutting, no voices or movement carried through the walls. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Had been at the City view room for an event. Lovely location for an event and some good pics. The staff seemed very helpful and courteous in guiding us even when we got slightly lost due the fact that there are 2 buildings. The food was specifically prepared based on instructions so I cannot say if it was their own chef or if someone from outside prepared it. For the most part it was a lovely experience.

I liked this place. They aren't getting 5 stars only because they did not send newspaper up to my room as agreed upon. Otherwise, the rooms are modern and cozy. The landscape and atmosphere is inviting and clean. Parking is convenient. Bars and food were excellent. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

This was my first time staying and this hotel, and it won't be the last. Friendly staff greeted us. Rooms were spacious and had comfy beds. Nice size gym area and pool. I just wish the wall on the roof top pool wasn't so high so I could see the skyline.

The hotel is very nice, and we were greeted by welcoming staff who were very professional. I omitted 2 stars because of the house keeping staff. Our second day we noticed a rag and dirty pillow case between the bed and bedside table that had clearly been left there for several stays. Then the morning of our departure the house keeping staff woke us up yelling back and forth down the hallways. We were checking out that morning, so there was no need to clean our room, but right after we were woken up they tried to come in to clean. These are little things, but our stay would have been wonderful had we been able to sleep in the morning we had to drive back home. Also, be sure to add $35 a day for parking and internet access, neither of which are included in the room price.

Perfectly located off the highway. Room was perfect. 2 beds, 2 sinks, 1 toilet and plenty of space. Staff was real friendly and easy to talk to. Real close to the venue house of blues.

Really pleased with this hotel it is beautiful, the service is excellent the kids love it. My only critquic would be the rooms need updated. There was rust on the hinges of the bathroom doors etc. The rooms were beautiful and clean just a little old.

The room is okay. Nothing special. There's no place to hang your towel in the bathroom or the sink area. Seems weird. The shower is crappy. The room is very unspectacular. But this place has a great restaurant in the lobby. And a rooftop pool above the 30th floor. With good views of downtown Dallas.

The hotel and staff are wonderful. Accommodations and amenities have been nice. Unfortunately, the hotel is not within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment or convenience markets.

We were here on a business trip, and had a wonderful time! We had the best customer service, everyone went above and beyond to help us. The gal that it's the hotels navigator, was beyond the best! She was so friendly, helpful, and had the best advice on where to eat! We can't wait to come back on vacation! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Customer service is top notch. Amazing people. The restaurant is very pricey but it is the Renaissance. Bartenders are awesome though! It would have been nice to be able to take a nice long shower but my drain kept backing up, and it wasn't even that it backed up it was disgusting drain funk that backed up. I let them know that the drain needed snaked and wether that happened or not, I doubt it. My co-worker had cold showers all week as well after letting them know as well… Maintenance on this facility needs upped… If housekeeping sees the drain backing up, they need to notify someone because I didn't even step foot in the shower and the morning when I went to shower, the shower was filled with black sediment and only God knows what. Maintenance even came to the room and it wasn't any better…

Best value for your money. Excellent facility with great amenities, very clean with a luxurious feel and just 10 minutes drive to downtown. Check in staff where pretty cool too.

I am giving it two stars for the aesthetics only. The hotel is nice, and gym was great for a vacation workout, along with the free water and cold towels for after workout session. What I am appalled with is the daily breakfast charges that were added to my room folio without my consent or signature at a whopping $45.00 plus state and city taxes for each day of stay (3) and a room service charge for a burger and water at $22.32 that some other guest put to my room as room service delivery. Not only were we out every day seeing the sights and eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at all the fabulous restaurants in Dallas, no one in my room ordered this. I had to stay the morning of check out and wait at the counter while they investigated 4 additional charges added to my folio, and was late getting to the airport. Then I could not wait anymore so left and provided my cell and home phone for the gentleman to call me once they had the charges confirmed that I did not sign for these, and of course he never called and my credit card received the charge. I had to call them and request the charge be removed, and then they said the burger was delivered to my room… HUM… Let's see we ate everywhere but your hotel but because you don't request a signature on room service food delivery, I ordered and ate it… NOT! I let them know this was a make or break for me every staying at this hotel ever again.

The hotel is close to a lot of great neighborhoods and is a 10 minute ride from Downtown, Deep Ellum, etc. I had a room in the 23rd floor with a decent view of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a rooftop pool and a hot tub (do you really need one in Dallas? ) and a fairly nice gym. The front desk was really nice.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Drove in from Houston for a wedding at Cooper Hotel and conference Center. The grounds are beautiful as was the dinner and reception. Unfortunately, the weather was chilly but did not put a damper on it. The rooms are accommodating. I believe there are 61 rooms total in a very convenient location. There are good restaurants, Starbucks, Whole Foods and any thing you may desire nearby. We did not have time to take advantage of the spa or fitness area, but they look amazing.

Excellent location, has a gym, pool and laundry service, the rooms are comfortable and food is delicious if you are without a doubt a great option to stay in the hotel.

I was recently there on a business trip. The only complaint I have is the food that was served. All the food served at our events was horrible. The only good thing at Asado Grill was breakfast, bit everything else on the menu there I tried was also horrible. The room, staff, everything else, was great. The elevators were being worked on a couple times, & were really slow. Took 30 minutes to wait for an elevator from my floor, but that's probably because there were so many of us there.

We travel with our dogs, one of which is about 110 pounds. That makes for quite a challenge when it comes to finding decent accommodations. Without a doubt, the Argonaut was THE nicest pet friendly hotel we stayed at. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The dog beds were a nice touch. Keep it up Skipton Hotels! A little on the pricey side, but worth it!

CONS: Horrible location, there is nothing close to this hotel you must drive to go anywhere but the convention center next door. Hotel needs to be updated Elevators are slow, this could possibly because there was a sorority gathering there in which these young ladies liked to take the elevators up and down one floor to visit friends. The rooftop pool is awful, the walls are so high that you can't even tell that you are on the roof. Why didn't they make the walls see-through? Mattresses are old and need to be replaced. Besides breakfast, the restaurant in the hotel is very expensive. Service in the restaurant is slow PROS: Gym looks nice There are washers and dryers with soap in the gym to do laundry The breakfast buffet was very good. GET THE CITY VIEW! We arrived early to check and were told that our room wasn't ready but that we would be called when it was ready (this was at 10 a. M. I inquired about the Platinum benefits, so we could plan our meals). We were told that all of that would be explained when we actually checked in. We were not offered to go sit and wait in the concierge lounge (That was open until noon) or offered anything else which is normal for Marriott Platinum members. By 3 pm, we still had not received a call that our room was ready, but we returned to the hotel anyway. When we got to the front desk, after waiting in line again, we were told that our room had been ready for a while. They confirmed my telephone number, which was correct.

This is a decent hotel — the rooms are clean, the teams are nice, and there's a rooftop pool / workout area. The biggest downside is the location — to get anywhere remotely popular at night requires a 15-minute Uber ride. Overall though the amenities are of good quality.

Went to the Renaissance to set up gifts for an imcong client. Their navagtion team was super helpful, friendly and efficient. They even allowed us to write hand written notes to be left with their goodies. The inside lobny was beautiful, and the smell coming from the eating area was amazing, almost made me have a 2nd lunch.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect for the purpose of our trip with easy access to downtown, the Mavs game, the JFK museum and easy to the highway for everything else. The lobby restaurant was very good for breakfast but only average for lunch and dinner. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom was very outdated. A nicer bathroom would make our return a certainty. For the price it was acceptable.

Had a study there for about three hours and from the fast and friendly valet service to the exquisite lunch they provided, it was first class all the way. The salon was roomy and comfortable and the rolling staircase was beautiful. Would definitely go there again.

I'm not really one that rates hotels but this one was great, very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely book here if I come again to Dallas.

We recently had a conference here for work and it went from bad to worse. By the end of the conference we didn't think there was an area that hadn't been covered. It started with a 2 hr wait in line at the front desk, crabby workers, crabby people waiting in line. Some of the rooms with 4 people were given a king bed. When asked for doubles they were out and a queen roll away was brought in, the rollaway queen was really a single. Then air mattresses were brought in. Let's just say they weren't equipped or prepared. Elevators were scary. At dinner my friend next to me had a hair (not a long hair but a shorter curly one) in her chicken. The steak was very red which is not the way to go for a large group dinner. After telling the server about the hair, the server left the plate in front of her and only took it away after emptying the cart of plates, which took awhile. Meanwhile we all stared at it. The manager said the dessert was not gluten free and she'd bring apples, then she switched to ice cream for me. The servers kept bringing me a meal that wasn't gluten free, they didn't use the allergy cards, then brought me the regular dessert and said yes it's gluten free. I said, but your manager just told me it's not gluten free. No, she's wrong it is. So I ate the mousse and then got the apples, which I can't eat and gave away and then we got a sorbet which I also had to give away. I gave my server a hug for trying.

They have a bar with Service excellent.

Very disappointed in the hotel. Was there for a norwex conference and the couch/loveseat was dirty with dust! The air vent rattled every time it kicked on. The iron burt my skit on low setting. The elevator also was super slow. Waited 35 mins to go down! Wont be back or to any renaissance hotel.

A luxury hotel that makes you feel welcomed and the lobby has perfect lighting. I had a beautiful view of their garden, feels like an oasis away from Dallas. Amenities are the pool, gym and asphalt trail.

Came here for a work event. Food was good to very good. Bar was above average. My room was nice enough, nothing spectacular. Staff was all friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time, especially the views.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. (Thinking sense it's a renaissance it would be a fantastic place to stay at) Got in really late at night with my sister and her baby. The staff was extremely rude. They did not communicate about my reservation at all! And the ladies at the front desk tried to tell me that it was my fault that the man I had placed my reservation with did not inform me about payments or any other information about my reservation. And proceeded to argue with me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! If you come to Dallas do not stay here. It'll take you an hour to even get into your room. And on top of that when you finally get on to the elevator to head to your room, enjoy the bumpy ride up, they sound like they are falling apart. this rant is not just coming from a guest for a night. But based off of how a hotel is to be ran (a previous hotel front desk clerk). Extremely unsatisfied with my stay! Will never be back to this hotel!

Terrible, the room had no refrigerator, microwave. They charge $15 to park but the barriers were broke all night. So I'm paying $15 for inconvenience? the room had a safe but no fridge haha, I'll never step foot in this hotel again.

My 15 year old son had his wallet with approximately $100 taken from his room when he inadvertently forgot the wallet at the hotel while at a speech tournament. Additionally, our travel companion had BED BUGS. While our friends were given another room, they were denied ANY compensation for the inconvenience. Terrible management.

The room was nice and staff were polite, HOWEVER, everything besides sleeping in the room is an extra fee. Parking was $15 — not valet, just regular parking in the lot — and that is per day. I didn't realize my car was renting its own room! Wi-Fi and television are also an extra charges. Maybe I am just a hopeless middle classer, but these are things I expect to be included for free, ESPECIALLY the parking. If you've got plenty of extra money, then go for it, I guess. I will be looking for a different hotel to stay at next year.

The hotel is beautiful. Most of the staff is nice when greeting you. The problem is that when you have issues that doesn't just go along with their process or what "should happen", the staff I encountered became irritated that I was having issues. For example, the internet was down many times during the day while we were having our business meetings. I am pretty tech savvy, so, I am able to solve issues alone that are normal. Tonight, I couldn't get the internet to work, so, I called the desk thinking that it was because the internet was down. Apparently it wasn't. The lady at the front desk was rude and short with me. I can't imagine what would have happened if I wasn't tech savvy at all. There are some more examples I could go through but long story short, if things don't go down as stated in their handbook, and situations get a little sticky, the staff seems to become disengaged and annoyed.

Overall average hotel for 4 stars. Location out of town with limited public transport access. Valet parking 7$/day. Staff was friendly, however room has not been cleaned properly (especially bathroom mirror and shower, in our case some utensils from the guest before have been found in the bathroom which is an absolutely no go! ) Hotel makes a good first impressions but dissapoints when having a closer look.

The Renaissance was everything one might expect from a convention facility: spacious, elegant, and well-laid out. The food was excellent, the event spaces were ready and stocked, and the bedrooms were, by all accounts, also quite lovely. That's all well and good. What made this a truly memorable venue was the incredible flexibility, responsiveness, and dedication of the staff. From the moment the reservation was made, they worked with my group, adding names and changing room preferences up until the last minute. This was done cheerfully, and gave me the sense that they wanted not only to fulfill my requests, but to make sure that I was happy. If this does not seem an extraordinary level of service, I should add that the hotel was booked solid for a major athletic event nearby. The staff rose to the occasion admirably, and really raised my expectations about hotel and convention service. This is the place to go, and will be the only one for my organization or myself when visiting Dallas. Well done.

Stay here regularly on business. Have been to multiple hotels in the area and I keep coming back to the Renaissance. The awesome, friendly, always helpful staff is one of the main things that draws me back here weekly. Rooms are nice, beds are excellent, restaurant has delicious food. Easy to get in and out of. The only drawback I would point out is the relatively small gym. Other than that, this is an absolute first class hotel worth staying at anytime.

My wife and I stayed Friday night 03-15-2013 at the Renaissance Hotel (rm #2120) and had a very nice time. Room was nice, lobby entertainment Friday night was excellent and the breakfast Saturday morning (buffet style) was a real bargain at 19.00 per person. Thank you Mark Woelffer and staff for an excellent outing at the Renaissance Dallas.

Decided to go to this hotel for my honeymoon. Overall Great hotel, the restaurants had Fantastic food as well. The room was very nice, if not a little small. However the bed was SO COMFORTABLE, and the view on the higher floors is fantastic. Loved this hotel Pros: Very clean Amazing beds / pillows Very nice complementary things (toilet paper folded, towels folded, free toothpaste) Very nice view of the city at higher floors Multiple restaurants (two that I know of) Awesome Staff Good location Cons: Slow room service at times (left the hotel room at 8am came back at 2pm and room wasn't cleaned — Called in and they came and cleaned it immediately Parking is very tight, when I was there they were working on expanding their parking lot and it was fairly difficult to find a spot $100 security deposit since I was paying cash Other than that FANTASTIC hotel. Will Definitely stay again.
